Good enough for low cost one night stay
Staff friendly. Facility and room clean. Chair in room old and patched. Beds have metal framework (springs) that make horrible noise when you sit on the bed. Mattresses are thin and lumpy. Water pressure at sink was good. I did not use the shower.
Overall, it was not too bad for one night.

The bedding were clean but the floors were not that clean. The furniture were really worn out with materials chipping out. They should just throw out the chair and couch. Breakfast was empty before 9 and not refilled.

Small Town getaway
Very peaceful and quiet stay in small hotel. Was rather surprised they didn't have a pool as I thought that to be standard option for most hotels but overall was enjoyable stay

Disappointed
We were looking for a basic place to stay one night while traveling to Greenville. For the price I expected better considering what I normally see in my travels. I wished I had remembered my UV blacklight to properly inspect the bedding. The breakfast served was sparse with very weak room-temperature coffee. My only compliment is that the staff and one cleaning woman we saw were all friendly.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy
The place is disgusting & dirty. I picture they saw on the website for the room, is NOT at all what the rooms look like. The pillows were awful, very old and to say they were lumpy & bumpy was an understatement. It was like sleeping on a bunch of rolled up socks stuffed in a pillow case. The desk chair was disgusting & peeling & lets not discuss the puke green chair they had shoved in the corner of the room.

It was super quiet inside the property and outside, however, I noticed there were people who sat in their cars all day. They didn’t bother anyone but the reason they were there is suspicious. The 2Queens suite was very spacious and clean. There was a stale smoke odor in the room that was difficult to mask. The sofa was very old as well as the curtain. The smoke odor is most likely embedded in them. The only other inconvenience was there weren’t any usb charging ports, not even on an alarm clock. Overall, the room served its purpose at a very budget friendly price. It was a clean and comfortable place to crash after a couple of busy days

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very humid when the air conditioner was running. The in room refrigerator froze my soda, so I couldn't drink it. The desk chair was very worn out with patches of the black vinyl missing.

Was OK, but there was trouble checking in because Hotels.com supposedly reserved me a particular type of room that was no longer available. It turns out it was a handicapped room, but I did not need a handicapped room so it worked out fine. The room itself is a bit awkward, i.e. the bathroom door jams and is hard to close. Some light switches are difficult to use.

The hotel took the money off my debit card twice. The manager said the system does that not the hotel. I noticed it the next day and complained and within 30min the charge was removed. It not good practice to take double the amount some folks my be traveling on limited funds and not have enough money to get home.
Ive never been to a hotel that did this before and i wonder how many times this has been done without being noticed. The owner was not very nice when confronted i dont think i would have gotten my money had i not complained.

Cleanest hotel I’ve been in this year
The staff was friendly, accommodating and the hotel was clean. Probably one of the cleanest hotels that I’ve been in a year and I travel twice a month.
This is the only place I’ll stay the next time I’m in the Gaffney area.

Not enough toilet paper booked the room for the 8th at midnight by mistake instead of the 7th and had to pay again for the 7th could not get a refund stayed in the room for six hours and then left. Didn’t understand why hotel couldn’t just let me stay without paying twice there were only a couple guests in the whole hotel that night

Only stayed one night but it was good. The room was big and clean. The water pressure in the shower was great. Beds and sheets were good. They were removing the carpet in the hallways either for new carpet or flooring. Would stay again.

It was a good stay for the money. The towels needed to be replaced because they were worn. So if you like soft towels, bring your own. I don’t know if they had breakfast, because we didn’t eat it. But there are lots of restaurants that have food nearby. I left my phone there and was very fortunate that they had it at the front desk and let a family member pick it up.

Nastiest Motel Ever
This motel is full of dope smokers and I got the blame for and
Room that smelled like pot. The Indian owner didn’t like the fact I booked online and blamed me for the room smell which I had already complained about. I was charged 150$ plus the cost of the room and was asked to leave without completing my stay.

Short & SWEET
I needed to be close by the facility I'm beginning my assignment and Red Roof already had overall excellent reviews, so I tried them and they held to every positive comment! Check in short and sweet....My room was sparkling clean and bed comfortable! I missed breakfast by a few minutes, but was greeted pleasantly by the front desk staff! My contract is 13 weeks and I'm strongly considering Red Roof in Gaffney!!

Will not stay at a Red Roof Inn again. The beds were not clean, hair on sheets on arrival. The pillows were lumpy and the cases had stains. The bathtub had dirt in it and the blow dryer has never been wiped down... caked on residue from other hands. The towels were not even big enough for a toddler and felt like thin sand paper. Overall felt dirty and uncomfortable. Would never recommend. Look nothing like pictures on website.

I was not allowed into the room upon checking in and it was paid for. The desk clerk could not fine the paid for authorization from Orbitz. I was allowed in the room at 4:30 AM and checked out at 5:15 AM. Traveling on business made this the worse trip due to not being allowed in to the room. I'm owed 75 USD. Make this right Orbitz. The clerk said do not book the orbitz book directly to location.

The key card did not work and there were several teenage kids in the room next door to the first room that we were checked into. The clerk was apologetic and moved us to another room. However, the second room was extremely hot and reeked of mold and chemicals from cleaners. We have chronic asthma, emphysema and COPD so we did not stay due to health reasons. The clerk was understanding. However, my credit card was billed for the entire stay (the weekend) when we weren't there 10 minutes. The clerk sent a message the next day to apologize and advised me to dispute with hotels.com since the reservation was booked through the website. I will after settling in since we just arrived home.

I don't think the sheets have been changed because there was hair from the previous person on the bed. If you would like an updated rooms. Stay on the first floor second floor is not updated. And saying that the pictures that they have on Expedia reflect the first floor not the second

For a budget hotel this Red Roof Inn really worked. I found the staff quite pleasant and helpful as I needed to secure a iPhone charger, and the clerk was able to get me one and when the café area was out of coffee in the afternoon, the same genial clerk brewed me a fresh pot.

Was asked to leave because our children had spilled some ketchup on the floor. That was the morning after the first night and after we were asked to change rooms because the bathtub was leaking into their lobby. Manager was screaming at my life in multiple languages about the “mess” honestly was just a mop and sweep. Spent $400 there in a month and still treated as such

Don’t use the towels! you’ll get kicked out!
Couples nightmare weekend trip, had a few too many drinks last night and got sick. Made it part way to the trash can and missed some. So we got a towel to get some of it up. Next day, today, we hand over the towels and ask for two more. Next thing we have two men at the door asking what happened, we explained that I had gotten sick last night and attempted to clean up some of it. We were told that we couldn’t treat his property any way we wanted. My mind is literally being blown because he then proceeded to tell us to get out and keep in mind we paid for the room through tomorrow, and then threatened to call the police if we didn’t get out in 5mins. Again my mind is being blow that I am getting kicked out of a hotel room because I cleaned up puke with a towel! Overall the room was decent, as long as you can put up with the attitude from self said owners. They have no compassion and suffer from the lack of customer service they offer. Even down the maids, who was upset I puked in the trash can. “Really dude, really, the trash can!” Coming loudly from the upstairs balcony.

Compared to other Red Roof Inn's ice stayed in this one was disappointing, I'm a smoker and the smell of smoke was over whelming when I walked in the room, the floors was sticky from nicotine and smoke and had dirt on the floors, t.v. had something splattered all over the screen, nightstand and other surfaces was sticky from split drinks, bed was very uncomfortable, bed clothes were stained and smelled bad, bedspread was dirty, the bathroom other then dirty floors was clean, the lights are on a timer and the lights kept going out on me while I was in the shower, I stayed three nights housekeeping came to my door once. Our room did not have a coffee pot. We inquired about this and was told that if would be an extra charge. Really!!! Never, ever, been told that before. The next morning we go down the hall for coffee and everything was empty. The staff did not seem very knowledgeable. Will not stay here again.

Ienjoyed my stay. The lodging was safe, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is convenient to shopping, dining, and sightseeing. I would gladly stay at this hotel on my next trip to the area.
