I was shocked that there was no food service or breakfast offered at this hotel, that there was only one paper cup to make coffee (with two guests and no one to ask for more cups), and a badly designed room layout and mostly bare floors, making the room cool and noisy.

It is great value for the money for this area of Tempe. It needs renovation and it definitely could have been cleaner. The bed was perfect though - clean and white sheets and spread. The staff was very very nice.

We went there on business for a trade show in Phoenix and was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice the rooms and hotel were. The wood floors were beautiful and such a nice change from carpeted hotel rooms. Most hotels were priced extremely high for the trade show week so we took a chance on the Red Roof Inn Plus Tempe Phoenix Airport and the hotel lived up to the beautiful photos on their website. Would recommend this hotel for travelers.

Had to book a last-minute trip and chose the Red Roof because it was close to the airport. Room's were clean (what more can you really ask for?) And all the women work we're very friendly!

We had no issues with the services or stay. We did have to switch rooms for sanitary purposes but the staff was very kind. The area is industrial but very convenient being so close to the airport. You get what you pay for.

Out dated. Not a good experience.
Sadly this is our second stay here. First stay was great. This one not so muxh. Black smudges all ovwr the roof and walls. People were stomping above us all night and our neighbors kept slamming the door all night which kept waking my children. The bath had no plug. The phones wouldnt work. Didnt get hardly any sleep. Bad experience.

Unable to give positive review
I knew something might not be great about the stay when I saw one of the desk clerks and what appeared to be her boyfriend outside the front door smoking and had to walk through their cloud. Upon being in the room for 30 mins, something triggered my allergies, which aren't that bad. I ended up having to go to the drug store for nasal spray, which was the only way I could breathe in that room. On my way to the elevator, the smell of marijuana smoke was all throughout the hallway. I would not stay here again.

There were people smoking weed and partying with music in the parking lot. The door into the building was not locked (parking lot to lowest level of rooms. People were super noisy in the building and outside. I did not feel safe.

for one night adequate. the lobby smelled of weed. the anchors for the shower rod were coming off the wall. the night shift and morning lobby attendant were very pleasant and helpful. the person at check out was very assuming. thinking they were charging a late charge when we were

Check in and check out when fine. Room was clean and equipped with microwave and mini-fridge. However, for security and a quiet night, we would in the future stay somewhere else. People coming in and out of the building and lobby constantly and at 12:30AM from an adjacent room we were awakened to guitar playing and singing through what seemed like paper thin walls.

There are always sketchy people hanging around in the lobby, no housecleaning, have to bring your dirty towels to the front desk to get new ones, property has a smell to it.

We liked staying at this Red Roof Inn. They don't charge for pets. It was very quiet. The room was a nice size. We stayed on the ground floor with a king bed.

Looks fine from the outside & lobby but inside could use some paint & a thorough cleaning. Room was adequate but flooring looked dirty & my shoes were sticky walking across it. Lost sock found on the floor & some unidentifiable glob at corner of bathroom counter. The bedding seemed clean but the mattress was like sleeping on a sponge. Only one each regular & decaf coffee packets in room for 2 & lobby coffee tasted bad. If I we’re staying longer this room would be a big disappointment but sufficed for one night passing through.

This was a terrible mistake. Tried to cut corners since this was just a quick stay before heading to the Grand Canyon first thing in the am. On one of the beds, there were mystery stains on the sheets. This place is best suited for high school keg parties.

The staff has had excellent customer service. It so convenient and connected to everything the tempe marketplace five minutes away from the airport. The customer service is always a plus.love the rates because I never in the room long.when I'm in Arizona that my place to stay.

The property was run down; the room door was cracked and the door frame looked unsafe but still managed to lock; the area was dark you couldn’t see the street sign when entering,stains on the walls, scuffs everywhere, and loud people. Nothing like the pictures. We were told the room we had originally booked did not have a TV because it had been stolen. We did get "upgraded" to a room where there was plenty of water damage and cracked drywall. There was debris on the floor. The bathtub had a nasty ring stained. There was something that looked like old slime on the walls. We were told it was a premium room and it could not have been further from that.

The staff were super nice and check in with our dog was quick and easy. The location is great for going over to Tempe and Mill Ave or getting up to Scottsdale. The room had a nice desk to get some quick work done and the shower was surprisingly good. My only downside was the beds being a bit stiff, if we come back to PHX to see friends again it is pretty likely we’ll be going here again!

We stayed on the first dloor with our dog. Our room was close to the side door and although convenient for taking her out for a walk we were abit disturbed that the door is not locked after dark. There were some folks hanging out by their car parked there for hours. Stay away there are better places to stay. There was no housekeeping service, drug dealers in the parking lot. People smoking marijuana in the hallways. Dirty elevator, room, reception area. Apathetic, angry unhelpful housekeeping staff that refused to do their job, they should all be fired. police should patrol hotel parking lot and arrest drug dealers

The staff was super helpful, kind, and made sure I knew all the offerings. I’m definitely gonna stay here again, and recommend to friends. Beds are comfy for my taste, and I was the perfect blend of warm under blankets, but kept cool by the AC. The only minor inconvenience, and not one even worth complaining about was the person in the room next to me was BLASTING Ramon Ayala. And I get it, I love the man too, so I slept as easy as I do listening to my girlfriend snore. My room was clean, the shower was perfect, and I really appreciated there was zero odor in my room. I couldn’t overstate how awesome my stay was.

There was hair and open soap from the previous guest. Reported it nothing was done the hair is still in there. They claim they had no manager. When she walked out because her shift ended. How I know this is because she checked me in. Bad customer service

Great place to stay!
My family & I stayed here for a weekend visit with relatives. Red Roof Inn PLUS+ is a great, no-frills place to stay! I love that this hotel is pet-friendly, which makes it easy to travel with our little dog. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable, clean, and very well air conditioned (which is important when it's 113 degrees outside!). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The building is clearly old and not very clean. The walls are cracking, the paint is chipping, the the caulking seal around the bathtub is coming apart and black/brown making the feeling of being their not as pleasant as it should/could be. The vending machines were broke and no ice (on the 2nd floor). However, my experience with the staff was excellent.

It’s an older Phoenix area building so the condition of some stuff is aged but very clean. Quiet even though you’re right next to the highway and all the construction. Front staff was super friendly and loves dogs. All dog families stay on the ground floor so it’s convenient to go outside via multiple doors. Would stay here again.
