Dirty linens, no food nearby and unhelpful front desk staff. If it was $100 cheaper, it would have been fine. But for that price we paid, it was worse than mediocre.

dont stay here!!!
sheets had staines. went for coffee there was none. no maid service our whole stay for 4 nights. had to ask for towels multiple times . no pressure for shower was just a drizzle.no amenities. would not recomend this motel.

Over priced and dirty
Sheets and comforter were soiled. No daily service. I had to make multiple trips to office for towels soap/keys stopped working. AC UNIT does not work well. Super hot room. Overall hotel dirty. It as motel 6 quality. $ high for quality.

Just a bed to sleep in and a place to shower

Horrible, STINKY HOMELESS SHELTER BEWARE!!!!!
Horrible, horrible experience. Room smelled like a dead skunk; filthy, wet towels in the bathroom; people smoking and drinking everywhere; door almost unopenable from both the inside and outside; bugs; uncomfortable beds. I was afraid to use the pillows it was so gross. The smell was horrible and never abated-it seemed like cigarettes and marajuana and cigars were stored in their. Just awful. I found out in the morning that the hotel is being used as a HOMELESS SHELTER. That should be primary information. NEVER STAYING AT ANOTHER RED ROOF IN EVER. EXTREMELY UPSET WITH HOTELS.COM FOR PUTTING US IN THIS SITUATION. I wouldn’t have minded the homeless shelter if the room itself weren’t in disgusting condition, but at least it should be disclosed. I WANT A REFUND.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The room itself suited what we needed, but I do recommend expensing in new bed sheets as ours had stains. We laid down on towels to sleep.

Even though the rooms were clean and comfortable when you drive up it looks old and rundown. Walking up to the room I had a Sense it might not be a safe place. It is an old facility. However, We hAd a good nights rest and it was convenient to our travels.

Last time using hotels.com
Hotel never got reservation. Could be the dinosaur working the front desk or your terrible service which used to be good. This is the last straw. Done using this service.

I have stayed in way more expensive places that were less quality. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for an overnight stay. The staff was very nice as well.

Only if you have no other choice
When we arrived at the room I went to use the restroom and was greeted with a pair or undies and a night gown on the back of the door, I used a hanger to dispose of them, the air conditioner leaked into the room so we had to leave towels on the floor to soak up the water. The beds were good, looked clean, despite the hundreds of signs that say no smoking the lobby and rooms smelled of smoke, and at midnight on our first night someone decided they could smoke in the room and we had to evacuate our rooms and wait for the fire department.

Room had power outlets coming off the walls, light fixtures coming off the wall, bathroom had what it looked like mold on the corner of the shower, the smell in the room wasn't too pleasant, very uncomfortable mattress and uneven, it felt like i was rolling off the bed. Staff was nice and friendly though.

This hotel is a horrible. Old property. There was a stain on our bedsheets, toilet didn’t flush, I found hair on the toilet and sink, the bathroom was tiny, there was a dent in the door. We checked in later Saturday night, and there were some scary looking people drinking in the parking lot. Not recommended. Never staying here again.

Very basic. Few amenities. No hair dryer or fridge. Entire unit needs updated. I wouldn’t consider it 2 star. Water marks on ceiling a/c unit too noisy so could only use fan stain in shower. My daughter’s unit had bugs in bathroom once.

Nice location -- dirty sheets
Quiet location on Rt 9. Room smelled of smoke and it was clear housekeepers did not change the sheets on the bed in quite some time. Otherwise a comfortable stay.

Never Red Roof again!!
The woman who checked us in for a four nite stay really didn’t want us to stay. We booked six weeks in advance but did not get a ground floor or refrig. This is our first bad experience in all the years we have used hotels.com. We will not stay at a red roof again but we like hotels.com. We stayed only 3 nites because it was such a bad experience.

Just bearable for two days
Deadbolt on entry/exit door kept getting stuck. Could not exit room without effort. This is a major fire hazard. No way to control temperature of an uncomfortably warm room without turning on noisy air conditioner Automatic overhead fan in bathroom was also very loud and noisy. Bed squeaky and hard. TV remote was sticky.

The beddings had suspicious stains and smelled like urine. The worst mattress ever, made my back hurt. The shower has the previous guest’s hair. The room was disgusting and that was my last time at that property. 0/10 Do not recommend.

Could not get the door unlocked after multiple attempts, spoke to the manager. Not much help and the customer in the next room had the same issue. Had ti shoulder the door opened. Bathroom was not very clean.all I can say is, It’s a place to stay

A good deal for the price
Red Roof is a great value for the price. The beds were very comfy but the pillows were a bit flat. I’d love bigger fluffier towels, too, but then the price would go up!

Couldn’t stay more than 5 minutes
It was disgusting. We checked in and found that through an error we had been booked twice so that took a while to sort out. Once we got into the right room it was super sketchy, dark yellow lighting, stains on the mattress cover, the seal on the door was detached at the bottom, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, and the AC unit looked like it was about to fall apart. It didn’t feel like a safe and sanitary location so we immediately checked out and went to a different hotel. At least the staff were nice about the whole incident though.

Red Roof stay ...
Location was good. Everything else was below average. Room said - 100% smoke free.
Smoke smell lingered for all three days of stay. Not management fault but they should do something about it. One of the twin bed springs were bad.
The bath room light and fan were not independently hooked. It was trouble some to sleep if the light was kept on
On the last day, I saw two cockroaches in the room.
All in all it was NOT a good value for money and I felt I was in a third world country. Sad but true.

Friendly, easy check in.
-Room was mostly clean except for food and clothes from a former guest were still in dresser drawers.
Also:
-no fridge in room
-no ice available in our building
-shower curtain rod was falling off wall and crooked so curtain wouldn't stay closed.
-bathroom very small w/ loud fan

I canceled and did not stay at this hotel and called both Expedia and red roof to cancel and was told no refund would be given though insurance was purchased. Did not make since. A claim was made with the insurance on June 24th two weeks before the room was booked for. Wrong day also needed room for the 24 th and wrong city.

Staff was useless, bathroom door did not stay shut, no water pressure in the shower my coffee machine put out more pressure. And to top it off we had an and colony in our room. When pointed out to staff they seemed to not even care.

Picture is not representative of reality of the room - it is basic, motel-like, and less cheery. Also was locked in room when dead-bolt jammed - thankfully reservations gave me local number and they came instantly, otherwise I would have had to call the local police/fire.
