I paid for the room in advance via PayPal, but when we checked in they wanted to scan my credit card for "incidentals" and charged a security deposit. I then got a text from my credit card company that I had two charges pending. The next day they had credited one charge, but only credited the second one partially. When I dropped off the key the clerk barely acknowledged my presence.
The promised nutritious hot breakfast consisted of cold cereal,toast, and Waffles, pretty disappointing.

Think About it
Past visits I’ve had rooms that were remodeled but current trip my room appeared half old, half new.
The furniture didn’t match, the bathroom tub was old but the toilet was new. The walls were not updated(old plaster and paint) and I could hear the adjoining party talking; so no soundproofing. And still alot of outside noise in the parking lot in the early morning (2:30-3:30).

First the night clerk when I went in was extremely nice to the Spanish man and his daughter in front of me and when I got up to the desk her attitude changed she was rude and short and snappy which I don't understand cause she was a white lady but I asked her if they had a late check out and she was like 12 is the latest so I was went ahead to my room and let that go so let me also say I had my brother who is paralyzed from the chest down and in a wheelchair and only has one leg with me well come 1030 am 8 stepped out to smoke and the cleaning crew asked me if we was almost done and I informed them that the lady last night gave us late check out and told us 12 well they argued with me then finally walked away then come 1130 they came back got extremely rude with us and i told them that my brother was changing and we would be done shortly well they stop at our door talking not knowing we understand spanish and the whole time they was talking crap about us it was awful when we finally was getting our stuff to the car and i wheeled my brother to the car they went in our room and we had finished getting our things but one of the women came to the door with our personal blanket we took in and she was dragging it on the ground and she threw it and our personal pillow on the ground I will never stay her again the staff is horrible

Will suit your needs
Perfect for our needs and affordable. I saw some not so favorable reviews and don’t understand why. Not sketchy at all. No it’s not high end but comfortable enough. We stay here when we come for doctors appointments. Will stay again and I m pretty particular.

You better be the first one in line for breakfast because they don’t restock!! We went down maybe 45 minutes after they started serving and there was hardly anything to eat. No butter, the juices were nasty, and one morning they had strawberry waffle mix then regular the next morning. Hope they cleaned that machine good or had a different one, because what if someone was highly allergic to strawberries! Nobody seemed to care that they didn’t have anything when we asked if they had something we needed.
I didn’t realize when I booked it that it was an adjoining room. So the kids that stayed next door tried to open our door! The kids stayed alone because I could hear when the parents left. They were loud and disruptive all the way up to about 2 in the morning! It was also my fought for not calling down to complain, maybe they would have done something. Then one morning I heard someone coming around knocking on peoples doors telling them it’s time to get up!!
So much for a good night sleep around there!!

The rooms are in need of serious renovations. Peeling paint on wall. Water stains on the ceiling. Bed sheets with cigarette burns. Mattresses are very uncomfortable. Staff is very good.

Loved the breakfast! Don’t usually drink coffee, but decided to try the decaf. Best coffee I’ve ever had, smooth & good tasting without an aftertaste! Only thing by missing from breakfast was the lack of butter!

The staff are really nice people. My first night my heat didnt work in my room and it was freezing. I turned it on and when i got back at 11:30 that night it was freezing cold, i called down to the desk and was told to unplug it and all thus other stuff... the guy came and fixed it the next day. My stay was forn6 nights. On the 6th night someone used a key and came into our room at 10 pm. I was very upset. The lady said the girl at the desk told her this room number and gave her the key. Long story short... i was not too happy about that either. My husband and I feel as though we should have gotten some kind of discount or money back for all the chaos. This will not be my first choice in this area....

Check in was super easy; our room was very clean (property looks like it was recently renovated, nice paint and laminated flooring, etc.) and the area was very quiet. I loved the fact that we were only a couple of minutes from the mall and other diners.

Worst Hotel Ever!!!
First, we were put on 2nd floor, and I have a torn ACL. Second, the key did not work, and I had to go all the way back to desk (after calling), and we’re were put in the next room. Thirdly, the heater chirped like a flock of birds and we could not sleep with it on, so we slept in a cold room. Lastly, the breakfast was horrible and there was a family there blocking everyone else from getting to hot food and waffle makers, and made a horrible mess, and the front desk just ignored it. The front desk person was rude and not helpful.

Buyer BEWARE!!! This place will charge your card extra $100 dollars as a “insidental/security” charge and will say it will go back to your card.. Well, they will actually try to take your money!! This place is dirty and shady, with lots of weird people hanging around and looking at you, making you feel very uncomfortable. That was a huge mistake to decide to stay at this place.. only because other hotels wasn’t available that day in this town, and I didn’t know anything about this place. .. This place is TRASH!!!! Never again!!

the most dirty hotel i have ever been too. I asked the front desk for a diffrent room but they didnt have anything available. I choose to sleep on top of a layer of my clothes instead of laying anywhere near the yellow-stained bed sheets.

Hi, unfortunately I travel frequently and the quality inn is consistently terrible inside although they make outside look good, I will no longer book there, I hope for future clients they address the interior. I feel that’s a corporate model as I have stayed at several other places and they are nicer. I finally give up hope for comfort inn. Sorry

Stay away from this place, They don't respect your privacy, There was a group of people talking, making too much noise around 3:00 am and then we called the office to help us because we wanted to rest and their response was, you tell them because I can't do anything. So please go somewhere else.

Overall, the space matched what was pictured on the website. The main downside was the smell in the room. It smelt musty and faintly of cigarette smoke. There is no air circulation in the room and there is no window to crack to let fresh air in

The day I was willing to leave that hotel. I took all my stuff in my car, and I went out to do some business to turn back before 11 o’clock, and then the cleaning lady thought that I had left and she cleaned the room as a guest, leaving what she had done incredibly bad which is she didn’t change the sheets. She didn’t change the blue covers, and she landed back on the bed for the new guest. That is nasty. That means Isa also slept on dirty sheets for the previous guest, another thing that was my second room. After when I came in I found the furnace room. The towel had mud in the bathroom and they changed the room for me because also I found a nightstand, and a black mold, and I took a picture of that. It

Very sketchy place to stay. Was affraid to go to sleep. If i hadn't already paid for the room i would have left alot of supicious people hanging around just sitting in their cars and standing around. The walls are paper thin can hear people talk in next room, when the person in room beside us decided to take a shower you could hear the water running , it was loud and annoying. Would not recommend this place to anyone. You have been warned

Very quiet this trip on the property.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The older towels had been replaced (which I noted I past reviews) with new, thicker towels.

Front desk staff was rude upon arrival and check out. We stay at this hotel quite often, and this trip was terrible. The room we were in had an extremely uncomfortable mattress. My husband and I tossed and turned all night. Then at 2 in the morning my husband said he could hear the neighbor snoring through the wall. We have always had great stays at this place, but we will not be returning again!

Drove in from Michigan arrived at 2pm was told couldn't check in until 3. In there defense it says.. Check in is at 3. But it was how we were told and then they literally walked away from us and left us standing there. So we went and enjoyed ourselves out in town and came back at 6:30pm. Checked in and (not saying names) she obviously hated her job and had -0- personality. Asked where this room 139 was located and was (no words) pointed in the direction. Finally found room on back side of property. Went through like a enclosed hall way and felt like our room was more in the back alley. Entering room noticed our window had a massive spider crack which they had silicone over the cracks. The room itself spotless, was beautiful, had everything you would need including fridge, microwave, hot shower with great pressure. Had a beautiful pool on site, breakfast was a surprise... Hot eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy etc... Problem was at night.. From about midnight to 4:30 am they would part , tell, laugh, talk loudly and bang around in that hall way and out side our door. It gets better...Then your room fills up with pot and cigarette smoke. There were to many to confront them and the front desk could of cared less. So. All of these good reviews I am guessing were either on the 2nd floor or they were located on the front side of the building. I never parked in the back and never truthfully felt safe. If I would of had kids I would of left.

Awful! Very similar to Motel 6
When I booked this it had great reviews. I thought it was a hotel, not a motel. I arrived to a very unpleasant clerk and the check out clerks were just as bad.The bed was awful, the sheets smelled very stale and not recently washed. I was horrified and not prepared for the room I was booked into.

Too many guests (contractors) that were changing shifts throughout the 24 hours of the day; therefore the noise was not always pleasant. Management need to walk the property at various times; too much “foot” traffic throughout the evening.

March Madness Stay
A good place to stay for the price. Outside entrances to rooms and a free breakfast. The breakfast was very good but southern grits are suppose to be a bit thicker and they were soup like and unable to eat. Older hotel and rooms back away from the check in and breakfast so had to drive to eat. My room was available and was able to check in early which was a plus. Overall a good experience.

Pay the extra $30 and go somewhere else.
Check in was fine, and for the $80 we paid, we didn't expect anything mind-blowing. Cleanliness was so-so, certainly not spotless. The beds were uneven and not comfortable at all. The kicker was that as soon as we opened the faucet on the sink to wash our hands, we noticed that the water did not drain quickly at all, but stayed pooled in the sink draining slowly despite the drain being open. The toilet didn't flush well, and the shower didn't drain well either. We flushed the toilet a total of three times, the last time being before bed. My wife woke up a couple hours later to a flooded room where the water never stopped filling the toilet and it overflowed all over the entire floor of our room. Thankfully the only thing we had on the floor was a suitcase with a water resistant bottom. At 1:00 AM I had to call the front desk who, sounding annoyed, made me come pick up the key to another room without offering any other type of assistance or bothering to make sure we needed any help. So I had to take all our clothes, suitcase, etc. and my sleeping 4-month-old girl back out into the freezing cold to the new room. The next morning as I was checking out and turning in both sets of keys, the front desk told me they were "glad they could help" getting us another room... For $80 a night I don't suppose I should have expected too much, but either way, I definitely do not recommend this to anyone. Pay a little extra to get a lot better sleep.

1st was Expedia's failure to call them and let them know I wasn't going to make it the night of 12/10, for which I was billed for. 2nd there were 2 dirty washcloths hanging from the shower rod. 3rd the refrigerator was dirty inside.

Mediocre, but disappointing even at a good price
The first room we checked into was relatively clean, but the heating unit stopped working after 5 minutes in the room (and it was 28 degrees outside), so we had to move rooms at 10pm. The same exact room was not available, so we were placed into a suite with a king bed and pullout couch. The couch was not clean (stained), and was beat up (patchy areas on pillows and leather), and was generally pretty uncomfortable (the mattress was thin and you could feel the rails below it). Also, the inside of the door had strange, yellowish-brownish drip stains on it, like it had been smoked in at some point, then cleaner was sprayed on it but never wiped down so the smoke stains ended up running down the door (?), hard to say. The bathroom was clean, but lacked a vent so it stayed steamy during showers and made the whole room super steamy, as well. The bed was clean and well-made, which was nice after all the hassles we had experienced.
One last thing: the continental breakfast opens at 7am, which is late compared to most other places. I would suggest a 6am start time to make it easier on guests who need to get an early start.

I mistakenly booked a smoking room. When my son and I arrived at the hotel, I asked if I could have a non-smoking room, clerk instantly states no. She did not even bother to look if any were available. My son and I are here for surgery at Shriner's Children Hospital. Neither of us slept well because of the smell.

I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There were stains on my covers,(2) of my towels were dirty and had a very strong cigarette smell throughout. The toilet also was very loud upon flushing. When I talked to the morning person she seemed to be very helpful and funny. The grits for breakfast was also very tasty.
