Don’t eat the breakfast, boiled eggs are like rubber bolls - jumping off the table. Scrambled eggs are not eggs, look and taste like plastic or some paper. Thin walls, even the ceiling, you can literally hear everything around you.

The courtesy of the staff was great. I stayed on the 2nd floor and had a not so good couple of nights sleep due to heavy traffic over head. Ill probably request a higher floor next time

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the suite was spotless and comfortable, the parking lot was spacious and well lit, and the location was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants without feeling like it was too busy or hectic.

Mediocre at best
The room and hallways had a bad smell. The cleaning crews were busy when I checked in around 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon. There was a lot of trash compiled in the hallways. It was not a pleasant first impression.

Gem of a hotel
Enjoyed my stay here. Stayed 28 nights, and this worked out just great. The room setup is good, where you have a separate kitchen and wardrobe, then the bedroom combined with a office desk. Staff were AWESOME, friendly and in good spirits, always ready to help. Nice location too, with plenty of food options nearby. Gem of a hotel.

10 hour stop between WF and SU
Had a two bedroom suite for three guys. Plenty of room, clean, easy to find, good breakfast, friendly staff. All good.

Overpriced for such small rooms
Rooms are small. My room smelled like dogs which is understandable given it was a pet friendly hotel. There should be laminate floors instead of carpeting. The bathroom is way too close to the bed for privacy. Full length mirror faces the toilet, thanks for that… Hair dryer was broken. House keeping banged on door at 8:30 AM on Sunday morning. First floor was like walking through a back section of the hotel with all the room cleaning equipment. Definitely not a “superb” hotel as advertised.

Decent place with a SUPER nice staff...Everyone was great...I have a bit of a high bar for hotels so I'm not going to go all out here...But for the money it's a solid choice with a decent bed and free breakfast. I'd stay here again.

We stayed for two nights. Free breakfast is good, good variety. Room wasn’t clean by the maid service. We had to ask the front desk for fresh towels but with no problem. There’s only a bar of soap and half a bottle of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Would be nice to provide liquid soap to wash hands during Covid. Room has no sound proof. We can hear everything everyone is saying in the hallway.

longtime member of hotels.com got screwed
We reserved and paid for a 2 bedroom suite. Upon arrival no 2 bedroom suites were available and we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The hotel offered me another room but my family did not want to be split up. Neither the hotel nor hotels.com were willing to refund me the difference between a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom suite.

A nice place
It is a nice little place. The room is not very big but it has a full stocked kitchen, desk with shelves and a sofa. It would been a perfect place for a longer stay. We only slept for 1 night and didn't take the advantage of having the kitchen. The breakfast was good. Overall experience was good except that there was some kind of machinery sound all night in our room on the 4th floor. I am a light sleeper so that made me not having a good night sleep. I asked for a quiet room at check in but ended up with a room that is not so quiet.

Perfect spot for bringing a pup
This place is great in location, comfort, and pet accommodation. The hotel is quiet, the beds are really comfortable, and there are numerous restaurants nearby (Starbucks is so close!). We traveled with a dog and this seriously couldn't be a better place for him. There are civil war battlefields trails surrounding the hotel, the parking lot is huge with sidewalks for walking your dog, and there's no through-traffic to worry about because the hotel is in a dead end. We'll definitely stay here again.

Relatively easy to locate site from highway. Quiet clean motel. Appear to have to go into Winchester itself for more than routine fare. Free breakfast OK. Surprised that full length mirror situated exactly opposite toilet; do I need to explain?

Overall great stay. The suite w kitchen was great. I was there on business so the large desk area was great too. Only reason I wouldn't give it all 5 stars was that the shower didn't get hot enough, just warm. Also there must be no soundproofing in the doors bc I could hear people walking by and it was like they were in my room, which made it hard to sleep in the morning when housekeeping started about 8am.

A no-frills place to get a good night's sleep
A very bare-bones sort of place, with no real lobby, uninspiring staff, and few amenities. But our room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. So if you just need a bed for a decent night's sleep, this does just fine. The location is a little weird, behind a Waffle House and surrounded by a giant strip mall; the hotel sign is so small and low, we didn't even see it on our first drive-by.

it is very noisy in the morning. couldn't sleep late. the people outside were so loud that woke me up at 7 in the morning and the vacuum started at 8:30. but the room was neat and clean and people at the front desk were helpful. they charged me some money a day after I checked out and when I asked they what is that they told me it was an incident. who knows if it was really an incident?

Clean, comfortable, safe
As a woman traveling alone I felt perfectly safe here. Did not give it a second thought actually. It is a smoke free facility also, which is important to be. Also the breakfast was good with more choices than just the usual empty carbs. I wasn't looking for a studio type but if you are, the kitchen section of the room is totally up to date and well stocked with dinnerware and cookware. Even has a dishwasher. This place is as good as the pictures and very comfortable.

Convenient and confortable but...
My stayed was not as good as I wanted to be. First the website stated that the room had a kitchen which it did not (not full size at least). Had to cancel my thanksgiving plans and at niget had a few roaches on the wall.

Marriott's beds rule!
Well... we tend to choose one of the Marriott affiliates whenever possible because we know that the comfort of the beds are a sure fire. The rooms were clean and comfortable albeit small. We were satisfied until we went down to breakfast. And everything...and I do mean everything...was gone! No coffee, no hot items, all pastties, everthing... gone! This was 9am on Sunday morning... dozens of guests looking for their breakfast and just empty, dirty, everything. There were no appologies made at the desk. I was truly disappointed. Not consistent with Marriott style.

Worth every dollar.
Spotless hotel, rooms and grounds, friendly staff, comfortable bed and quiet location. Free breakfast. Great location, easy highway access, 5mins to Old Town. They even have a really nice gas grill you can cook on! This will be our go-to hotel when we visit the Winchester area from now on.

The breakfast area is small but the food choices were great. We had a two bedroom suite lots of room and beds were really comfortable. Had an issue with one bedroom air conditioning but finally got it regulated. Easy off the highway. I would suggest hotels.Com to update the breakfast it says continental but they have a full hot breakfast we almost didn't book for that reason but called the hotel and was told they have a hot breakfast everyday. The kids loved the make your own blueberry waffles.

Great Location
Great location to PA and Virginia. Lots of local interesting things and convenient to the Mountains. Also it was nearby restaurants, shopping and movies. Hotel was clean and rooms fairly comfortable. Seemed understaffed so no extras but basics provided. Breakfast was very minimal and not up to the usual Marriott standards we were used to at the Residence Inns but price was reasonable.

We had a great time in the room but we had toddlers with us and someone called and complained the kids were running in the room and making too much noise. These complaints were every night within the first 10 minutes of arriving to our room after being out for the day. It was very disappointing.

clean but the biggest problem is with peoples dogs, they were even bringing them into the breakfast area while they were eating tying them under the tables while they threw up on the floor. this practice should be stopped.

Nice Hotel quiet area
My wife and I have a nice stay, although we had to beg for towels the second day. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't provide fresh towels everyday. We left for the day and came back and house keeping had never enter our room. Then the next morning they were knocking on our door at 7AM. The hotel is back off the beaten path and very quiet.

felt like a low income apartment building
When we first arrived the main entrance wasn't clearly marked or distinguishable. As we approached the building there was a grill and picnic tables on the left and a woman standing outside the front door, in her bathrobe, smoking. Staff spoke with her as if they knew her well. There was a large hole in the ceiling in the lobby.

Almost perfect, the shower temperature could've been better. On full hot it was barely warm some days. The kitchen was well stocked and had a nice, big refrigerator. The TV stand allowed the TV to swivel, which was great for viewing from nearly everywhere in the room.

Bed too soft and felt like we each slept in a hole. Manual single door to enter reception area made it difficult to enter and exit with luggage in tow. Generally it needs TLC
