The checkin went real good.kinda hard to understand the front desk employee. The room was nice, it was clean with no order. The only downside is the TV remote didn't work and you could only watch one channel

Rude staff, trash not emptied, and no towels. Also wanted $150 pet deposit. I've stayed at Motel 6's for over 15yrs because pet friendly. This was outragous.

I know you get what you pay for, but...
They didn't have any soaps or shampoos in the room and only 1 towel. Had to ask for them at the desk. No blow dryer to be found. Maybe Motel 6 doesn't provide? Bed has pokey springs in mattress. Air conditioning worked good.

Never go here!
Very run down! Given room and it had dirty towels, pee on toilet seat and in toilet. Bed had already been slept in. Cigarette burns in bedding and carpet. Went to desk and got different room. It was clean but very out dated and bed was HARD

Don’t expect to check in before 3pm
My son and I came to town to watch the chiefs play and just needed a cheap place to lay our heads for a couple of nights. We arrived about 20 minutes before 3pm and they would not let us check in until 3 even tho the parking lot was almost empty except for workers working on the building. I went and sat in my truck completely tired and wore out from a 7 hour drive and the front desk clerk comes out around the building staring like we shouldn’t be in the parking lot since we were not guest yet. We left and went to eat. Came back later and they charged me more than I was told I’d pay by hotels.com. They added their own fees and taxes so I was pissed. The room was nothing special, but beds were descent and clean. It was about 10 minutes from the stadium and was not crowded in the area we were staying. It was close to fast food and a Waffle House and beside a gas station.

The rooms look better in the pictures. There are no night stands. There is a sheet and a thin bed cover, no blanket. One bath towel for 3 people. Only saving grace is it’s close to worlds of fun.

I honestly didn't expect much with this stay because you get what you pay for in these situations but I am pleasantly surprised. The woman at the desk was super friendly and helpful despite being at the end of her shift. Very efficient and helpful. The room was decent. Not too many amenities but again, you get what you pay for. The place was clean yet in dire need of an upgrade. The water in the shower was hotter than heck, which I LOVE, but the water pressure was woefully lacking. There was only 1 bar of hand soap. The bed was a somewhat thin king mattress set on a steel frame. Not the best but for sure not the worst. Overall, this would be a great choice if you were in need of a room quick. I forget the woman's name at the desk that checked me in, but she made the entire stay so much more pleasant. Great work, keep it up.

Get what you pay for
We needed an inexpensive roadside stop for a cross-country move but as soon as I got in the room I regretted booking. The “nonsmoking” room reeked of smoke, the door lock cover was missing and just had batteries hanging out of it, the bathroom light barely worked and the “blanket” was just a duvet cover that did nothing for keeping us warm. My car didn’t get broken into, which was honestly kind of surprising, but that’s about the best thing I can say about this hotel

The hotel doesn’t look like the picture anymore. There were cochroaches in my room & no ice machine available. Since I was staying here to be close to work I needed a late check out on my last day & they were not accommodating for that.

The rooms were filthy. People loitering in the hallways made our party very uncomfortable. Also, multiple police cars were on property for our time there. We dropped keys in a drop box and will not be staying on the property for our health and safety

It was average I made a complaint about my TV not working and was told that they would be up shortly and it never seen them at all. Come to the room and try to fix the TV.

I wish I could have enjoyed my stay but my room was barely cleaned dirty towels still left in the room floor was dirty the door wasn't secured refrigerator kept making noises I didn't complain at the time because I spent my last on that room id wish for a refund it looks like he just gave me any ole room he had but wasn't clean I couldn't enjoy my shower because I had to clean the tub with the only soap they left they had no towels for me i was disappointed in my stay

Motel 6 in N. Kansas City, MO.
I made an online reservation at Motel 6 in N. Kansas City, Missouri for two nights: September 7 thru September 9, 2023. I was emailed a confirmation number. On the day I arrived, the front entrance door was open,
but the small glass door of the reservation counter was locked. I sat in my car, called the motel three times hoping that someone would answer, but instead, (on all three occasions) I received an automated recording stating that there was no reservation under my name and was asked
to remain on the line. After waiting 45min. I left and booked a reservation with a neighboring hotel. I know little about Motel 6. I chose this motel to save money on a 2-day trip. But, after seeing the property and experiencing poor customer service, I highly recommend spending more money on a reputable hotel no matter how short your trip may be.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
The room was dirty, there was garbage, hair, dead bugs on floor. The bathroom shower leaked everywhere and the sink was so loose we where afraid to use it. I was charged more that what was I booked it for and the lady stated there was nothing she could do and since I checked in right at 6pm there could not refund me and even if I cancelled I would get charged for the room.

Only had one bar of soap, no showering essentials (shampoo conditioner ) one towel in the room and it was so small. It was like a kid size 2nd day there went to go ask for another towel and finally he gives me a towel, a hand towel, and a washcloth. Shampoo, conditioner, and another bar …soap… and he made me pay the sales tax because something about Hotels.com wasn’t paying the local sales tax so that had to come out of my pocket

You kinda know what to expect with a motel 6,
Staff was nice.
Bed was awful! And iur light kept randomly coming on during the night. I got up like 5-7 times to turn it off. Have no idea why.

Worst smelling place ever!!!
We stayed about 1 hour and checked out. It was absolutely the worst smelling room I have ever been in. Quite possibly one of the worst smelling places Ive ever been. It was a non-smoking room but if a cigarette had a b*tth*le thats what it would smell like and something dead would be in it. Burn holes in the blankets?! Wow. I drove the 3 hours home at midnight getting home at 3:30am rather than spend one more minute there. I tried a nap and even dreamt of the smell and woke up twice. My daughters got rrady for our event and we bolted. Could not leave fast enough. Almost a complete waste of over $130.00. Room wasnt worth $10.

Terrible experience
It was terrible, way over-priced with no amenities, the ceiling was leaking into a trash can and then later it fell through, we didn’t even stay, we demanded our money back and then left. Really made what was supposed to be a good evening into a crappy experience. I’ll never book this hotel again and may not even use hotels.com anymore

We checked in . Went to the room and immediately went and told the front desk that we didn’t want to stay there and wanted to cancel. They said we couldn’t because we booked through Expedia . We left and checked into Hilton Garden Inn . Never stayed one minute in the room ! The
Motel was dirty and people were sitting outside their rooms drinking beer right next to our room . It certainly isn’t a place you should take your family !!! Tried to do a complaint on Expedia but it wouldn’t let me .
Never again will we book anything through a third party site !!!!

Dirty towels in bathroom no remote control had to go to office to get it wholes in the walls we had planned to stay 2 nights but left around 5 the next day after returning to the room wanted to take shower and the 1 and only towel for 2 people was filthy I chose to go home to take a shower.

The beds were comfortable. The room we had needed some maintenance. The bathroom door had multiple holes and the light was in and out. We also had paint peeling from the walls and ceiling and only one towel for 2 adults. The room was clean but the bathroom wasn’t.

I was very disappointed with this accommodation. At my own choosing I basically paid $71.00 for a dog sitter as I left them while I went to a concert, there being no one at home to care for them. There was no TV remote. The walls had visible patches that had not even been repainted. The drapes hung by just a few hooks. The heating/cooling unit was dirty, bacteria anyone? There was a sheet and a very thin "bedspread" on the bed. I realize this is basic accommodations but come on, paint over the spackling at least. There were black marks on the walls, thick dirt along the bathroom baseboards and a general overall rundown feeling to the room. I have been in many motel 6's but this one was the worst. I left in the middle of the night, turned my key into the desk, and drove home to sleep in my own bed. I give this a 1 1/2 stars. The staff was very friendly as were the few other travelers I spoke with. If I had a way of uploading the video I did of the room, I would.

The hotel was ok but the room was pretty beat up. The floor was a little messy when we came in. The floor trim in the bathroom was coming of. Also the bathroom tub was very dirty. Looked like it hand the been cleaned. Pretty much the room was pretty run down and really needs to be updated badly.

We booked this location mainly because of the shuttle to the parks which we found out hadnt beed available for years. The tv was falling off the wall, the tub had a holenin it, the bathroom door was seperating into two pieces. Our second room had holes in the wall and what looked like some blood on the wall. This place is a dump.

Worst hotel ever
This was the worst experience ever. Needed to change rooms. The first room was missing pillows, no bathroom light, no soap, no towels and the list goes on. The second room was even worse. Did have a free pack of denture cleaner left in the room. Woke up at 2 with pounding on door. They gave it to someone else. Then a phone call telling us to get out it wasn't our room.

Person checking us in was coughing into his hands and had my ID and card in his hands while doing so. I’m pregnant so thanks for giving me your germs. Room was not cleaned had stuff on the floor and burn marks on the bed. Fridge smelled like rotten eggs. We where only in town for one night so we needed something fast. Even if your a motel you should at least keep the room clean. There was no smoke detector in the room. Which is a fire safety violation. Will not be coming back to this location. Very sketchy area.

This place does NOT match the pictures they have on google! The lock was broken. Light switches broken. Lights hanging off the ceiling. Floor was not swept. There was one pillow for 2 beds when we arrived. And part of the t.v. stand was on the floor. There was no remote for the t.v. i would not waste your money.

The room that I was in was nice and clean. The furnishings like the bed and furniture looked nice. I had mostly a quiet night sleep and felt well rested. I would definitely come back again.

The room was nice except a few things. The smoke detector was not plugged in revealing wires and cords. Not was the phone plugged in or even attached to the cords. And there was no cable box for the tv, just exposed wires. The baseboards in my room were also coming up in multiple spots.
But I liked that the room was clean and the water was hot in the shower.

Usually no issues but today was the owner and there checkin is 3pm I arrived around 1pm to see and owner said no maybe 2ish so I waited in car at 2pm he said sorry no rooms avail not one of different type and he said wait till 3pm and if I’m waiting to go park my car somewhere else or I can just go find elsewhere really owner should treat u right but it was opposite he was full of it and parking lot was empty so I went to differ location outside area is like junk yard

Good by motel 6 standards
Friendly staff, dirty walls, comfortable beds, the parking lot & area seem safe & not loud for being next to a freeway. The room could use maintenance like a light switch cover & the safety latch for the door was broken.
The worst thing about it was someone in another bathroom was smoking & it came through my non working bathroom vent while I was showering & filled the bathroom with cigarette smoke.

Room wasn't clean. There was red paint on the walls and mini fridge. I assumed it was the same red paint on the floor in neat red dots. The cleaning staff came in to clean after we had checked in. They didn't knock, instead just came in. I wouldn't not suggest for anyone to go to.

Through no fault of the staff the stay was exactly what you would expect of a motel 6. It was gross in the hotel from the room to the bathroom. Hair in the bed before we even touched it, mold in the shower curtains, ceiling threatening to fall, extremely in need of repair outlets. However the single staff member we interacted with was very kind and helpful.

Everything was fine except there was a large group of hispanics occupying multiple rooms near mine and they were shouting right outside of my room until midnight. I couldnt sleep and i didnt even want to go outside with them there. They also trashed a large area outside of the building. The motel itself was fine and so was the staff, but that group of guests ruined my experience.

30 cop cars surrounding the entrance with lights on when we arrived, my bed was broken in half, the sink and tub were not only filthy but would not drain, no trash can in the room either, needed vacuumed
