Bad communication! Hotel was closed. Wasn't told.
The Hotel was closed! I got no notice that everything was changed. They moved me to another branch but it was further away and I got no advance notice. Terrible communication.

This hotel service has drastically changed. It's not the same as it was before. Staff associates not as courteous as previous, the texture of the rooms aren't as comfortable as before.

We had a great stay the pool was beautiful the room was nice and clean they did a good job maintaining everything. The only downside is that the hallway in b building did smell like cat pee a little, like it was coming from one of the rooms and there are some sketchy characters hanging around and some questionable activity at certain times. But there is also security guards that patrol the property night and day. Very reasonable rates and great location though I would go back.

The price was great but... The room was a very basic mediocre motel room.The phone in the room did not work. The safe in the room did not work. The staff person who came to fix things was lovely, friendly, and helpful. He was able to fix the safe but the phone never did work. Not a big deal unless of course there were to be a state of emergency where all cell towers were down. During the COVID-19 crisis that is a valid concern. The hotel should have taken this more seriously. The lady cleaning the room one day refused to leave when I came back to my room and asked for privacy. The hotel needs to train their staff to allow for guests to return to their rooms with an expectation of privacy. The work-around was that we agreed she need not come back to finish cleaning.

Pool and hot tub was nice.
Room was clean.
Plenty of towels.
Staff friendly.
Didn't like that my room was right across from maid service facilities.
Their carts lined the hall making it hard to get in and out of the room and through the hall.
They were also very loud very early.
Avoid rooms 130-140 to avoid that.
Also they don't have microwaves in the room.

Very close to the theme parks and right across the street from a few fast food places. Rooms where very clean and had everything we needed. Had a very pleasant experience here and would definitely recommend.

Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a suite which was spacious. The balcony was bolted shut which we weren't happy about. This property is older and has a musty, mildew smell and it would have been nice to be able to open the balcony door to air it out. Didn't see any bugs, shower could have been a nicer as the tub was just painted to try and cover up its old age and the paint was peeling off. A/c worked well and the beds were comfortable.

Rude hotel staff
At check in the clerk was rude not welcoming and the key card given to me did not work. I went to get anther key card and I mentioned the key pad loose and they sent maintenance right away and he raised his voice at me to give him my phone to use the light.

My keys did not work upon check in and I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to Bring me a working set. The hallways were not air conditioned so it was not comfortable waiting there will all my luggage for someone to come and let me in my room.

Everything was clean and as expected other than when I was packing up my car at 9:30 I kept being asked by one of the cleaning ladies if I was done and she kept reminding me check out was at 11 am. I said yup thanks I’m almost done but she kept waking back and forth and asking me which made me feel rushed. I closed the door at 10:05 am and went to go back in quick to use the bathroom and my key card no longer worked. I ended up leaving the block for my charger by accident and when I called they said nothing was found but I know it was plugged in next to the bed. Maybe if I hadn’t been rushed an hour and a half before check out I wouldn’t have forgotten it. Not pleased.

The pamphlets incorrectly stated that the pool hours were 9:00-10:00. Apparently the hours are 9:00-dusk. The hot tub had ‘caution’ tape around it and there was splintered hand railing and a nail on the walkway.

I loved the refrigerator in room and free parking. I loved that it was walking distance to restaurants and Walgreens and the Convention Center. I lost my wallet in the parking lot while there and the staff was soooooo kind and helpful and it was finally turned in by another customer. It was my best experience in Orlando, and I go there about 4 times a year. Not the fanciest hotels, but the one that made me the happiest.

Property is showing signs of age. Could use a freshen up in some areas. A good hotel for the price. We had hot water issues but were given a new upgraded room (suite) and a breakfast voucher. Management and staff were very helpful.

Clean, clean , clean.
I stay at the hotel 3 nights. The room I got was a little outdated but it was clean and well maintained. No roaches , no bad bugs . It was cleaned daily and I was given every day fresh towels and coffee. The room is supplied with a refrigerator, TV , and coffee machine and a safe . The staff was very friendly .

Stayed in room 214. Was there for a 1 night stay. The stairwell had a spill of French fries and soda making the steps really sticky. No elevators too. The hallway also smelled of marijuana. Hotel is dated but room was clean and comfortable. Only really bad issue with the room was there was water damage on the base of the wall between the tub and doorway to the bathroom. I notified the staff on the front desk at check out. Very close to the Orange County Convention Center. If it was updated, I’d consider staying there again.

One of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on. Air conditioner was noisy when it kicked on. Chain lock was broken off, like someone had kicked open the door at some point. That makes you feel really safe... and the water in the shower didn’t get beyond lukewarm.
It was in a very convenient location for the convention center, but there are much nicer places right up the road with better dining around.
Shame on Rosen for buying this run down place, then throwing their name on it without updating it in any way.

From day 1, I wasn’t given the rooms I booked, wheelchair accessible, then days 2-6 no hot water at all!!!! The rooms were dated and dirty bathrooms. I had 2 rooms with 2 occupants each, all my friends were complaining to me and put me in a horrible light. This was my first experience with the Rosen properties, I’m very disappointed and angry. I feel a refund of some kind is in order.
I’ve been going to Orlando for golf trips for 17 years and these were the worst accommodations I’ve ever experienced.

Great Hotel for such a low price
Very good for the price. When we were finally allowed off the plane(this isn't a review for the airline though), we were going to be late for our dinner reservations, so I called the hotel and asked if we could just drop our baggage at the desk and get to our reservation. That was very smooth. When we got to our room later, the toilet was running & it was loud all night. I do feel that housekeeping should have reported that, but I called the next morning and it was fixed by the time we returned that evening. Great hotel for the price we paid.

What I like is that the property is centrally located between Disney, universal studios, and directly across from the convention center. What I disliked was the room was alright but the ac unit in the room was very noisy when It kicked on also the constant fan in either high or low speed sounded like multiple hamsters in a squeaky wheel. Had maintenance come and check It out after waiting an hour and was told by maintenance staff “ that this is one of the few quietest units on the property” ! Later that same night aprox 11:30pm-11:45pm had a phone call from front office saying there is a manager of some kind out side our door. Mind you both my girlfriend and I are asleep already after traveling all day I open the door and was asked if they can come in and check for a water leak cause “room below is getting wet from above” once all that was done both myself and my girlfriend couldn’t go back to sleep for like 2 hours after that fiasco and then the next day had very noisy neighbors in the next room. Was very displeased with my stay!

The room was a closet.
No one picked up the garbage until on day three I went to find someone to do so. No one ever cleaned the room until that same day.
The bathroom had rust
The toilet stopped working
The towels had stains
I was in unit/building 2, I couldn’t sleep due to the noise level, and I blocked my door with a chair because there were some suspicious people outside in the middle of the night.
The attendant who checked me in was rude
I requested a room change, willing to incur in extra charges, because it was horrible.
When I switched rooms to the main building, although there was a dog that hardly stopped barking to catch his breath two rooms down from mine, I was able to at least get some rest.
Worst stay ever. Thankfully I was helped on my last night by a desk attendant named Cathy, and had one good night before I left.

My room was not cleaned everyday. When it was cleaned only one of the beds were made, (sheets changed). The carpets, although vacuumed, were filthy. I walked around barefoot after my shower, and the bottoms of my feet were black when I went to put on my socks. The property landscaping was clean, beautiful. The front desk was friendly. Check in and out was smooth and easy. I ordered pizza delivery and it was not brought to my room. Only delivered to the front desk. They finally called and told me it was there and by the time I went to get it and got the pizza to my room it was room temperature at best. A microwave would have been nice in the room, I was there all week and was not able to reheat leftovers. The fridge froze everything that was not in the door. This hotel saved a me a great deal as I was attending a conference next door at the Rosen Centre. Being close and walking to and from was a great convenience.

Staff was great, very friendly and accommodating. I was in a suite, and my microwave didn't work. I notified the front desk, and within 30 minutes or so, they were able to exchange the broken one for a new one.
The bathrooms need updating. There was rust around the drain and around the spout. Water pressure was terrible, and the shower head is too low--I'm 5'4" and had to stoop and bend over to wash my hair. Overall, excellent location if you're attending a conference at the convention center, and can't beat the price.

I noted it was Rosen, and across the street from the convention center and I assumed it was the Rosen I was familiar with. I didn’t realize they had bought the Red Roof Inn and other similar dumps. Rusty bathtubs and no amenities. It was super close though!

They were very accommedating to transfer me from a very small 1 bed to 2 beds. It was so much larger and much more comfortable.
There carpets were fraying at the door ways and needed some attention, but otherwise acceptable.

I liked the rooms, they were very clean. I give the beds a 3 out of 5.
The only complaint I had was the maid threw away a couple souvenirs we had bought previously. The manager Jose was very apologetic. He offered to buy myself and family breakfast the following day. I was kinda upset about it at first but the breakfast was amazing and definitely made up for the lost souvenirs. This was our fourth stay with this particular hotel. Would definitely stay again despite the lost souvenirs.

Everything was great, the Housekeepers in the hallways were so friendly and wellspoke. Frint desk agent in the overnight was not the best. No smile and all the answers were dry and with no feelings. Other than that, the hotel was good.

Location is good but for a sister hotel of the Rosen next door, it was disappointing. The AC unit and mattress are older than dirt. We woke up to roaches in the bathroom and vanity area. For the rate we paid, we should’ve drove a bit further for a cleaner and newer place.

Convenient location to the convention center but that's about it. Pretty run down bathroom, low water pressure, thin towels. For typical pricing at 40 a night, probably worth it. When they triple the price for a convention, not worth it.

Awful rooms
First room had a bed covered in dog hair and a broken air conditioner, second room had no air conditioner at all. Customer service at the front desk is absolutely horrible. I will say the manager Nate, was understanding and helpful.

Pleasantly Surprised!
After reading the reviews, we had some concerns, but decided to book a night here for a cheap stay. I'm so glad we did. We were pleasantly surprised by the room and the proximity to Sea World (the reason we stayed). It was definitely no frills, just a basic room, but I would recommend it for anyone who just needs a clean, decent place to stay for a night or doesn't plan to spend much time in their room. The staff was alright, but the location can't be beat. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here.

Great location! Access and discounts to amenities at the large rosen hotel right next door. Rooms are a little older but clean. Felt secure and safe at this location. Was attending a conference at the Rosen and this hotel was half the price and quick walking distance.

Hotel Problems
It started off that my taxi dropped me off in front of the wrong building at mid-night. The lobby was The room was ok, showerhead hit me in the chin. They are very low and it is hard to shampoo. Loud fan in bathroom. Iron kept leaking water. Limited vending. Smelly hallway?. Room repairs looked un-professional. There were these minor things but they all were noticed by one customer. The price was good, but expected more.

The hotel is beyond disgusting. I honestly can’t believe that this is a Rosen property. Poorly maintained, staff (including the manager) appear oblivious to the conditions and unmotivated to make any improvements. I brought a complaint about the conditions to the manager’s attention and he was focused on defending the property rather than listening to valid concerns. Never ever again would I stay here!

There were hairs in my shower.
Sink drained slowly and the cap covering the gunk in the drain never stayed on. Mold and eroding tile grout.

I picked this hotel because of price and location. For that reason it was good. My room was clean but basic. For some reason it was only maid up half way and the bed had no comforter or blanket. They brought me a thin blanket. The lobby area had no coffee or breakfast. The lounge area was closed off and had not been cleaned, probably from event the night before. But you get what you pay for.

Large Room, BUT terrible function. Each day I had to call for Air Conditioning to be repaired. It would work for 12 hours and then stop cooling. Huge fluctuations between HOT and Cool water during a shower. I burned my head while washing my hair.

The photos of the room looked much nicer online. The room looked and felt like a budget hotel. It felt gross staying there. The air conditioning wasn't cooling well. It felt like it took hours for the room to feel cool. It was inconvenient that the building entrance closest to my room was closed for repairs during my stay, so it was a longer walk to my room.
My experience was everything I'd expect from a budget hotel and the low rate I paid to stay there.

I arrived around 10pm but there were a two other people checking in. There was 3 staff members at the desk so I approached the one who wasn't helping anyone and didn't appear to be involved in anything (wasn't using the computer). She didn't even bother to look up at me or greet me. I assumed she just wasn't helping with check in and waited until the next person was available. Then a gentleman walked in and she helped him, greeting him almost immediately as he stepped through the door. The guy checking me in stated I had reserved a room with 2 double queens, I showed my reservation info that clearly showed I had reserved a king, he nodded and showed me on a map how to get to my room. I arrive at my room and of course it's 2 double queens. As I was tired and had already hauled my luggage up the stairs I decided not to pursue the issue. The light switch upon entry into the room did nothing (still no idea what it was supposed to do) and there was a bulb missing from the bedside lamp. The TV remote looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned as there were crusty bits around the buttons and I actually wrapped it in a napkin to use it. The blanket on the bed was a super thin and I often felt cold during the night. Overall I've had far worse hotel experiences but I've definitely had better. I expected more in such a highly populated area right next to a conference center.

Decent place for a no frills stay.
Check in and out was busy but organized. Room was decent size, bed was comfortable and clean. Everything a little dated, which we expected for the price, but cared for. We did see one cockroach in the bathroom but again, this is Florida and they are everywhere so we didn't get too upset. Pool looked clean.
McDonalds, IHOP, Red Lobster and Dunkin Donuts all within 2 min walk so easy to grab a coffee /breakfast.

The beds were super hard, and we were kept up all night by people in the other room getting it on... loudly and then we were woke up to people screaming and fighting in the parking lot and throwing things right next to our car. We stayed at the Rosen Center the first night and thought it was close still but for a cheaper price but the difference between the two was mind blowing.

Superb location on International Drive where expensive hotels, convention centers, and great restaurants are located, and this hotel is within walking distance to all those convention centers and restaurants. At the same time, the hotel is much, much less expensive than those fancy big hotels nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable, surprisingly large, and very well appointed, including comfortable bed, armchair, desk, small fridge, and coffeemaker. Housekeeping is very good. The grounds are well taken care of. Parking is free, which is much appreciated, since big fancy hotels nearby charge an arm and a leg for parking. Overall, this hotel is a great value for this location. I would stay here again.

Room was dirty (long dark hairs on the floor and in our ice bucket). Room we stayed in needed a lot of updating, shower faucet constantly leaked, bathroom sink faucet handle was broke. Beds were comfortable. Convenient location to the convention center.
