Red Roof Inn
It's a Red Roof Inn, not the Ritz Carlton. The area around it seems a little unsafe, but that is my only complaint. The room was clean and the price was right! I would stay here again.

No more Red Roof Inn Ever Again
I will never ever stay at a red roof inn in my life again, this wa the last time. I have frequented this chain before because of the pet friendly policy but never again. I will also recommend to all of my friends if they need a pet friendly hotel to stay far away from any red roof inn.

Marijuana smell all around the property and rooms. One room had a broken window repaired with a cardboard box. Initially was checked into an occupied room. Dirty things left under the bed from a previous tenant. Smoke alarm was removed. Guess you get what you pay for.

Lousy holiday
The room was dirty and the linens were not clean with cigarette burns as well as no rags. I had to deal with loud music and lousy customer service skills all holiday weekend and week.

Overnight stay
We stay one night it is convenient to shopping and restaurants and also dog friendly. Other than a broken secondary lock on the door everything was fine.

Room reeked of cigarettes and butts under the bed. Batteries were stolen from remote andightbulbs also stolen from light. Rugs were damp and dirty.

Staff (Pam) was decent to me, not particularly friendly but not rude. However she was rather rude to 2 customers who called while I was checking in, and made rude comments about them. Hotel claimed recently remodeled rooms. Mine was not. It was clean but old, and smelled like smoke although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Wooden steps going to upper level where our room was were rotting, unsafe. Felt unsafe and uneasy outside.

Door and cleaning of rooms
When i arrived there was only one person at the service desk and a line full of people. It took one of my friends 1 hr to get checked in. First room was not clean. Second room had roaches. Third was ok. Took me 40 min to check in people who already checked in, had issues with there door handles not working right and came back to complain. When i was finally checking in i got to my room and seemed to be ok. I had an issue with the door myself. As i was leaving i had to take two rounds to the car and the door didnt close all the way. The deadbolt lached out when i didnt touch it and wouldnt push back. So i entered the room and had to push really hard to get the deadbolt to latch back so i can finally close the door. Overall stay was ok.

Water in shower didnt work, both sink and tub stopped up and wouldnt drain. My feet were black after walking on the unwashed floor in the room

Was given a room for me an family 👪 got out to check the room opened the door an a guy an a girl were in both beds, changed rooms the fridge didn't work finally was able to get a decent room only thing 2 guys keep hanging on corner, then one had the nerve to try an holla at my wife while his girl was in there room people hang out around area alot of young traffic

I like that pets are welcome but I don’t expect to find kibble on the bathroom floor. Towels and bed covers were stained. There was a good bit of dirt just inside the door. The noise came from quite a few people deciding to cut loose on a Saturday night inside and outside of rooms. I was in and out of sleep and know that it went on at least until 3:00 a.m.

Could have been better
The room appeared to have been renovated in a most minimal way. There was some sort of rack in the bathroom - perhaps for a blow driver - which was simply painted over instead of removed. Only one trash can, located near the door - no can in the bathroom. No ironing board. Hair in the sink. Dirty bathroom floor. TV remote irrational. At check-in and check-out, no receipt reflecting the room rate or amount of payment, as I had booked through Hotel.com.
I apparently was given a handicap room, although I had not asked for it and had no need of one. The bathtub seat prevented me from having a comfortable soak.
At check-in, guests were backed up because, according to the one clerk on duty, the computer system was slow.
No continental breakfast.
All in all, and reflecting on other hospitality experiences, this was barely worth the reported rate. I suppose improvements up to adequate would increase the rate.

Only thing that i liked about the hotel was the location. It was convenient to the Florence Center. The sheets were torn and ripped. Toilet had stopped flushing. There was dried pee on the side of the toilet. Didnt see til the next morning that there was blood stains on the inside of the comforter which i didnt use anyway. All ice machines were broken. I have stayed at Red Roof before but never this bad. Definitely never returning.

Altough advertised as having a microwave and frig, my room lacked both items. The sink stopper wouldn't open and no one came to fix it. I received no maid service for 3 days. My key card quit working requiring another visit to the office.

This was nothing like the picture. The room not clean and for the price it should have had a refrigerator and microwave. The security lock was missing. This was the second room, and it wasn't much better than the first. The toilet was hard to flush. I will not make the mistake of staying there again.

Location to 95 is good. Love that these properties allow pets to stay for free. However this time we stayed, there were crumbs/small pieces of trash in the bed, indicating the linens had not been changed from the previous guest. Also, the first room we were given smelled like smoke. Apparently the property does not charge a security deposit anymore and residents, some long term, are doing as they please. Why this set-up, who knows??

It looked ok from the outside, but from the inside in my room it was a different story.
Dirty sink, toilet, water from shower accumulated in the tub, the window not washed in months. Etc.
Will not return there.

The fridge and microwave worked well but room looked old, floors were sticky, sink was clogged and bed sheets had yellow stains on them. Was an uncomfortable experience overall so couldn’t wait to check out! Staff was not friendly either

First they have two building and we stayed in the back building on the second floor. Half the stairs are broken.(so be careful). Once in room spots,stain,and cracks everywhere.lamps had rust on them. Cracks all in the wall like someone was fighting in the room. Two different beds one had padding an d the other one was one lay from the springs coming out. Black gooey spots. Under mini desk and walls. In our pic of the room we had a refrigerator and microwave none was in our room.shower curtain had so many spots didn't even close it. Had to shower in shower shoes.NO SOAP, TISSUE,TOWELS, etc. WAS NEVER ASKED IF WE NEEDED OR TOLD IF WE HAD TO ASK FOR THOSE ITEMS. (Lucky I travel with my own).Just a big disappointment for the area that their in

Waited 30 min to check on due to the front desk staff where ever finally drove up. Went to the store to get a broom wasn’t cleaned very well. Ceiling looked like it was about to fall in from water damage.

Decent place for a night. Just make sure you know whether or not you’re getting a room with a microwave and/fridge, and let them know upon checkout that you don’t want to be charged $2 extra for having/using a safe that’s provided in the room.

I checked in and then received a call at 2:22am asking me if I was coming to the hotel that night....I was already there, in bed, sleeping. Perhaps either the person that checked me in or the person following up on the reservation should have been a little more thorough so they wouldn't have to awaken me at 2am.

Disappointing
The hotel property is dirty. The first room I was given was not made up. The next room I was given smelled of smoke and the TV remote was missing a battery. The woman at the desk was efficient and apologized for the state of the first room. This hotel is in desperate need of a cleaning and some maintenance. I was only there for ten hours but I will probably never go to a Red Roof Inn again.

Nice place for budget friendly needs!
Obviously with this choice of hotel I wasn't expecting anything extravagant. The front desk staff was very friendly, the room ready early and the room was clean. I felt safe at the location. Would stay here again if looking for a hotel of this nature while passing through town!

I book the room with hotels.com and when i was checking in front desk told me they have to charge $10.00 more for microwave room? i was in shock never experienced anything before i protested but in the end i had to pay the extra for the microwave because the room was a bit larger. but this put me off the RED ROOF hotels alltogether never again.

Three roaches in the room. Sticky floors. Overall would have had a better experience sleeping in a tent. The door was so horrible that my husband couldn’t get in or out of the room, and he lifts weights!!!! Overall the absolute worst hotel I’ve EVER stayed in. Could not wait to get home to shower. No remote control for tv. Fingerprints all over light fixtures. I mean, I’ve had great experiences at other red roof inns but this by far was the worst. Was in town for an event at the Florence Center. Don’t believe that the rooms are new or remodeled as the site says. One staff member told me that it’s been about 5 years. So I’d not classify that as new or even updated. It was the cockroaches that really iced the cake. I live in the south, I know they exist here— BUT management is possible with proper measures. I never write poor reviews but I just couldn’t let this go.

I actually booked by accident the wrong date. I ended up paying cash because the lady that was checking us in was rude & offered me o advise on fixing mistake. I was gonna call Expedia the next day but I totally forgot. It actually cost me double due to my error but she could have helped me out and not been rude.

The hotel is not clean. I had towel that was already used in my room. The sheets was dirty. I think they never wash the blanket. You have to walk to to front to get towels and return them.. will never go back

Only one issue and its a big one. It seems that this is one of those hotels/motels that does not treat their Expedia rooms equally. EVERYTHING was great, EXCEPT....
Cleanliness of the room was 1 star. Bed and sheets seemed clean however there was lots of long hair in the bathroom, as well as noticeable dirty shoe marks. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned properly, if at all. This was a huge problem for me.
Too bad, otherwise Missed out on a 5 star review. Im being generous by giving 3.

the reservation said room was newly renovated, but the ceiling was peeling and falling on the floor; the room was so disgustingly dirty we were afraid to touch anything or put any luggage down anywhere. Had to sleep on top of the bed w/our own covers. I was honestly disgusted by the place, but was not able to get any other room in the area on the short notice I had. I will never stay at another red roof inn

The room smelled like smoke when it was supposed to be smoke free. There was a dirty towel left on the back of the bathroom door. The room stayed hot. The comforter was stained. Not a great experience at all.

Our nonsmoking room smelled of extreme smoke. The air conditioner was set at 65 when we entered. I assume this was to clear the smell. The front desk was advised however the response was sorry. Our bags and clothing smelled when we let the next day.

Walk in , dogs hit on floor. Air didn’t work well. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. I’ve stayed at motels 100’s of times. Never not had these “luxuries”. Apparently if you want to pay more you can get a ‘deluxe’ room with normal Noel items. ALSO, was very tired from driving for 10 hours. From about 9am to at least 3am there was some sort of machinery or a Mack truck under my room. Was super loud and room was shaking really hard. I was afraid it was going to collapse. Finally fell asleep around 3:30 am for an hour or two. Woke up and drove 10 more hours on no sleep. The place was horrible. I would drop the location from your booking site. Your going to get a bad reputation.

Not terrible but Below the average Red Roof
I took the Kingsize room, it was mostly decent except it's wasn't as clean as I would expect from a Red Roof and the toilet paper was only less than half a roll with no back up roll. The bed looked clean and was comfortable and that's all I really needed but normally I have a much more ideal experience from Red Roof hotels.

This is definitely an older red roof inn it would be nice if the rooms could be updated as it is a very popular area and they were a lot of guests staying there. Definitely was not newly refurbished as shown on the website.
