My only complaint is that the water in the shower is not hot enough. I had it all the way hot and couldn't turn any further to make it hotter. I'm sure there is a scalding safety valve that should be removed.

Room was very small for 2 queen beds. I have a walker and a mobility scooter. No room for my scooter. Also bedding was not confortable. the top comforter was way to heavy for my liking and luckily there was a different blanket option in the closet to get by with.

Surprised at how nice, comfortable and employee competent I found as compared to other services (food industry, lack of wait staff, but tip me tip me!! management menu. I'll definitely will put this hotel on my to return list.

Very good stay, although traffic noise and early morning car alarm. To be considered next to the 202. New room very clean. The tv remote volume control did not work properly. Does anyone cook a real breakfast anymore? Thanks for letting me express my experience

Run down. Old creaky uncomfortable beds. Missing breakfast items found at other Hampton Inns. Terrible odor coming from the bathroom sink making using the bathroom unbearable.

Antiquated rooms but the hotel is in the process of remodeling. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I’ll have no problem booking there again .

I liked the stay as it was my second time there and will stay again. I did have an issue which was probably an oversite, but it is something I think the staff needs to be aware of.
Three people checked in before me and the staff offered them free snacks and water. I checked in and no water and snacks were offered. I went to my room and went back and told the lady that they offered free water and snacks to all the other customers but me and she then offered the free snacks. She was nice. The problem was that the other customers were white and I was black which is the reason it concerned me. I am not saying they were racist or had an outward bias, I am just saying it looked and felt bad.

Torn greasy grimy carpet. Knicks, dents scratches and scrapes on all furniture, wall coverings and trim. Old beds. It’s an old dumpy ‘Super 8’ level of hotel but charging a Hampton price.
There is a posted notice that a $2.5 million renovation is on schedule. It’s about 20 years overdo.
The breakfast was okay. Staples.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Front desk staff very helpful and friendly when checking in. Breakfast food is delicious. Pool is very nice. Rooms and entire hotel very clean and welcoming. Have stayed here before and will stay here again on future trips.

Bed bugs. Toilet was clogged. Shower would not drain. My car was broken into. Pool is green. Kids with diapers in the pool. Key card didn't work most of the time. Locked out of my room. 1 day and I was gone!

The hotel is close to the Santan Village where you can shop and eat. Staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Room service was available every day and the breakfast had good options. We enjoyed our 4 days there while attending a basketball tournament.

Good location for restaurants and shopping. Staff was great. Bed cover was filthy, had to ask to have it removed and replaced. Bathroom counter was gritty from not being wiped completely. Not sure I would stay here again.

A small vacation
I had an excellent stay and although the carpet in my room was torn the hotel is going through a major renovation beginning in July. The staff alone make the stay worthwhile. Very friendly and courteous!

Not restful
The stay was pretty short and it was somewhat noisy from the 202 outside the window. Traffic was going All Night, so I did not sleep after 2:00 am. The a/c unit was loud when it was cooling. My wife was going to sit by the pool, but all the seats were taken.

My #1 go-to hotel is the Hampton - have stayed in many across the Northeast. Although the common areas in the hotel were adequate, the rooms were worn, tired and dated, which was completely counter to the quality we are used to for the Hampton. The carpeting was frayed (almost a safety hazard) and the sofa/chair was shiny and dirty from all the wear. We visit Gilbert, AZ every year and have noted alternative hotels in the area to stay next time.

Lost electricty to room. Staff couldn't fix til morning. No other rooms available. I paid my room in advance and was told at check in that I had to deposit $100 for incidentals but would be fully refunded at check out if no incidentals. Didnt get refund.

Booked through HOtels.com- when we got there the room was not reserved even though our card was charged. They did not have any more rooms. The front desk was rude and uncaring (this was a wedding night reservation) Still waiting on the reimbursement and notification from Hotels.com and Hampton with apology.

Check in was great, room clean but needs updating, bed had 3 inch memory foam on top of mattress with no cover. Needs new mattress, benches to sit on and place suitcases no longer have padding. For over $300/night big miss. Breakfast was good and exercise room small but clean.

Love the hotel. Expedia lied about hotel shuttle. Shuttle does not accommodate guests who fly in from Phoenix Sky Harbor or any guest after 8pm. Bad communication from Expedia.

Property and room were good- we booked due to needing shuttle to airport so search hotels that offered shuttle to airport because we had an early flight- it said 8-8 and by request so we thought like other hotels we could arrange an early shuttle. Well- we come to find out it means by request only during the 8-8 timeframe. Really needs to be clear that you can't request outside of those hours. We ended up having to pay for transportation to the airport.

We were greeted by friendly helpful staff. Check in was quick and easy and we were provided with water. Room was good sized and very clean except for the fact that the carpet had clearly not been vacuumed between guests. There were crumbs everywhere. Also the carpet was destroyed and badly in need of replacing. I just cannot understand why they work so hard to make their hotel look nice but leave the carpet looking that way. Also, one tiny bar of soap was provided for two sinks and a shower. The free breakfast was pretty good. The eggs were real. A good selection, but no bacon. All in all better than it's neighbors but those carpets just remove them and put down laminate already. Would stay again.

Overall, a satisfactory stay
Friendly service, clean rooms & hotel. Complimentary breakfast served daily was above board. My wife needed an extra pillow. We had to make more than 2 requests to get it and it wasn't received until late evening on the 2nd night.
*Note: Please provide smart TV's. In this day and age, they are cheap. Cable somewhat limited. Would have been nice to be able to view Netflicks, etc. through our own accounts.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very kind. The only disappointment is that the ads on Expedia do not inform you when the free courtesy shuttles from the airport quit running. It would only be fair to customers to state on the ad what the operating hours are. Especially when the booking is non-refundable.

We rested there for 3 days & nights. Very accommodating, rooms were clean, staff were very friendly , I did not use pool or hot tub, Breakfast was decent, no complaints for a hotel meal . Pet friendly . I would stay again . I appreciate the cleaning staff. Rosie was a gem to talk to, Very personable . So an extra kudos to Rosie!

Missing air filter. Air filters keep air clean in the room. I had to leave air off. I didn't want to breathe in dirty air with my allergies. Problem wasn't resolved or adressed. They didnt care. Dirty sheets comforter.
