Roaches
Roaches, lots of very large roaches in my room. I didn’t notice any until I was preparing to check out but then saw a dozen or more moving on the carpet and floor, they were partially camouflaged by the carpet but once I looked for them I saw several. Otherwise was a nice and clean room but they need to fumigate or something to get rid of the.

I’ve always loved staying at this hotel. If I forget anything while packing for my trip it’s located across from the mall and there are more places for gas and shopping in the area close to the hotel. I will always choose Comfort Suites for my family while in town visiting.

It was ok. The price wasn’t worth the stay. The clerk didn’t seem happy to see us. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Cleanliness could be better. Our ceiling had water damage. Remote didn’t work well. Breakfast was ok but breaker kept tripping so waffle maker, toaster, and microwave kept not working and staff wasn’t too quick fixing it. It wasn’t awful by any means, and I would stay again if I had to. But it definitely wouldn’t be first on my list.

Unpleasant stay
When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was friendly. However, she asked if we had a pet room. I said no. She then commented that the system wouldn't let her change our room and asked if we were allergic to animals. I said no and accepted the room. When we entered the room, it reaked of wet dog. It was late and we were tired, so decided to stay in the room.I sprayed some air freshener which helped a little. In the morning I decided to make coffee in the room, but the coffee maker was broken. We returned that night with my daughter. She slept on the pullout sofa, so needed the spare blanket. My husband is cold natured, so I went down to the front desk to get another blanket. I walked up to the front desk and the man working totally ignored me and didn't even acknowledge me. After about 5 minutes with no acknowledgement, he finally asked what I needed. When I asked if we could get an extra blanket, he told me there was one in the closet. I explained that my daughter was using that one and my husband would like a blanket as well. The man behind the desk told me very rudely that he didn't know if there were any extra. He then told me he was busy and wouldn't be able to help me for at least 10 minutes. He said he was counting money and that money is very important to his job. Finally after about 10 minutes he just said there were no extra blankets. I said thank you and went back to my room. I have never been treated so rudely!

Stayed for 2 nights for work. The room we had would be perfext for disabled travelers due to size and functionality. Breakfast is quitegood. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. All in all an excellent mid range hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Terrible place to stay
We walked into the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Luckily Hotels.com gave us $100 credit towards our next day but we did have to pay $138.

Horrible Customer Service & Not Clean
When we arrived there were two staff members behind the desk, not helping any other guests. We stood there for 10 minutes while they didn’t acknowledge us in any way. After an extremely lengthy and confusing check-in process (about 20 minutes total), we were finally given room keys and arrived to our room to find a clogged toilet, soaking wet floors, and soiled towels everywhere. We immediately went back down to the front desk where they told us “Oh yeah, that room should have been blocked off, it’s not clean.” Then another 5-10 minutes to get checked in to a room that was actually “clean” with barely an attempt at an apology for the whole ordeal. Once we finally arrived to our room it was better, but there was hair on the bathroom floor and I wouldn’t call it a nice or comfortable stay by any means. TERRIBLE customer service and very poorly managed. Also, we were charged $250 for a security deposit on a $115 room… without being told by the incompetent staff at the front desk that we would be charged that much. Overall, horrible experience. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

Arrived after midnight, just passing through and needed to stay one night. Front desk clerk was very nice. Got to the room and there was a weird smell. The ac sounded like a diesel truck idling in the room. The couch had a big dark stain on it. When I opened the sheets to make the sofa bed for my son a candy wrapper fell out of them. But the worst was the toilet. I went in the bathroom and there was dried brown stains on the toilet seat, and dried urine with hairs in it all around the base of the toilet. I cleaned it with soap and water and we tried to make the best of it because we were so exhausted. I checked the sheets and they looked clean. We slept as best we could with the loud ac and smell, and left early the next morning. I couldn’t wait to get out of there! How does the housekeeper think it’s okay to not clean the toilet? Looking back now I can’t believe we stayed but it’s crazy what you’ll do when you’ve been driving for 8 hours and can barely keep your eyes open. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

The first night we checked in, we noticed about 10 baby roaches in our bathroom. I went to the front desk to let them know & I was told that if I don’t see a bug within an hour, we can’t change rooms. I put in a maintenance request to have the toilet caulked the next day & the maintenance guy only sprayed bug spray. That night we saw an adult roach. When I went downstairs to notify them again, I was dismissed & told “we don’t have roaches”. So I submitted another maintenance request for the caulking of the toilet (because the toilet & shower parts were not caulked to the floor/walls). This time maintenance did not show up. After seeing yet another extremely large cockroach in the living area, I went downstairs to talk with the gentleman working the front desk, Paul I think. He told me that I’m seeing water bugs (aka Palmetto bugs) & NOT roaches. I corrected him because palmetto bugs ARE roaches & even seeing one is a sign of an infestation. There were multiple times he would just walk off & start talking on his phone w/o a word to me. He then went up & checked our room. Because he didn’t see a bug with his own eyes, i was dismissed yet again, despite showing him literal proof on my phone of the pictures I took each time. After back & forth with him for awhile, I told him I just wanted to leave & get another hotel because I am pregnant and have 3 small children & roaches carry diseases. We left & had to pay for another nights stay because it was past checkout time.

I will never step foot in this hotel again we stayed a total of four nights with two kids we checked in and got to the room to put our things down headed out to visit family upon returning which was around 11 pm and getting settled my fiancé and I laid In bed it felt like my back was planted on the springs of the bed and the bed was squeaky with every move you made . I went the following morning to try and switch rooms because I woke up with a sore back and was told once you’re in a room you can’t be switched to another one . That’s bs if you ask me . To top it off the last couple nights bugs kept appearing looked like a roach or maybe a cricket either way gross . Location was quiet pool is right in front of houses with little privacy the people who live in back of the hotel could easily jump over the brick wall to get in . Breakfast was not good but never expect it to be .

The check in lady was so nice I think her name was Mary. The room had a disgusting and filthy sofa mattress so we didn’t use the sofa bed. The breakfast eggs were gross. Not hot and looked greenish black. The danishes were all expired. 6/10

I booked this hotel while driving up to Maine and only needed it for the night to sleep. I arrived at 3 am to the concierge telling me they canceled my booking. Confused, I told them my full name and suddenly changed the story. Next she gave me a hard time about my service animal which has all the appropriate paperwork. Finally headed to the room only to find mold in the bathroom, a tub that doesn’t drain, stains on the comforter, anda door that doesn’t lock….

I did not catch the name of the person who helped us, but they were pleasant. However, we reserved 3 rooms all with two double beds, and ended up with 2 rooms with Kings and a pull out bed, and only one room with two doubles. There were no other rooms to switch to, do we were stuck.
Our room was not clean, we even found a pacifier from a previous guest on the floor.
The lobby and pool area were nice, which is where we spent most of our evening.

I liked everything about the hotel. It was clean, especially the breakfast room and also the pool. The elevator was down for 2 days but they got it fixed as soon as possible over a fourth of July holiday. I would recommend it and stay there again.

The food was good and the room was mostly clean. The toliet was about to fall over as it wasn't bolted down and the seat was also coming off. The elevator was broken. The bathroom lock was broken.

This location had great reviews, so we booked based on that. Upon arrival, front desk personnel were friendly, but they immediately notified us that their elevator was not working. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room. The stairwell floors were dirty & sticky. Mattresses were old and sunken in; bedding had stains. Our toilet was wobbly. I woke up early and went down for coffee, but my teen texted me at 9:17A and said housekeeping had just opened the door and realized people were still in there! What in the world? You’d think there would be a system in place for housekeeping to know if a room was vacant… Check-out wasn’t even until 11:00A! Not happy.

This was just a one night stay for us on the way to our final destination. We got to the room and turned the sheets down and the bed had body hair and dirt still in it. We had to go to the lobby twice and ask for the sheets on the bed to be changed and the man was rude to us. The carpet looked like the occupants before us had an animal that used the bathroom on the floor and they didn’t clean the carpet before turning the room over. The breakfast was good no complaints there. The kids enjoyed the pool.

The staff was very supportive and helpful, the breakfast options were great and my towels were replaced daily. The carpet needed to be cleaned and vacuumed as their were french fries on the floor behind the desk that stayed there until I checked out and the bathroom floor needed mopping. Aside from that, the location was great and near a mall and other shopping areas.

Our last night on the road
Clean, beautiful. Night desk person very nice but overwhelmed. You need two hosts in evenings for so many check ins. Hotel was full.
Early morning ladies not so nice. Breakfast lady was wonderful but also overwhelmed. Could not keep food full due to so many guests. NEEDED a 2nd helper. Maybe obe of the not so busy ladies at front desk could have helped with the food?
Pool ooen hours were bad. (10 am) We chose this hotel due yo pool for kids-- wanted to let them swim before checkout.
We undwerstand help is hard to find..you just need a couple more people to make this hotel a pleasant experience for guests.

I would not recommend this hotel at all
We waited for over 20 minutes for someone to show at the front desk, there were several people waiting and we could not find anyone there working. When the guy came from the back, he came out with a terrible attitude and got extremely rude with everyone waiting and was fussing how he was the only one and had no help.
I paid a suite with 2 beds and a pullout and the pullout is broken and would not come out. The room was not clean, the bathroom was dirty and there was still food in the refrigerator and trash in the drawers. My husband went down to speak to the manager or whoever he was working and could not find him yet again.
The whole experience was just overall bad and the pool was not very clean at all either. I definitely will never stay there again.

Overnight stop on longer trip. Good price and on our route. A little off the beaten path.

With such a rate you expect at least nice updated hotel. Carpet was stained, toilet wasn't fastened and was moving every time you sit on .
Buy gentleman serving breakfast was a highlight to this hotel. Very nice and caring guy. He was what hospitality is about. Would not stay again.

This was the worst most unprofessional check in experience I've ever been through. Waited for 26 minutes without being acknowledged. Then we were told system was down and got our room but the guy checking us in was rude about it.
Freddy the breakfast guy was so nice and helpful the next day, he should train all staff there.
Nothing wrong with the rooms and property was clean.
I wouldn't recommend and will not return, solely based on most of the staff interactions. Couldn't believe how rude they were, except Freddy.
