You know you are in trouble when the staff leaves foam earplugs in each room. Constant traffic, train and aircraft noise. Lobby locked down at night. There are better options if you are willing to pay a little more ....

The property is dated, old buildings. However, it exceeded my expectations in the quality of service and assortment of breakfast options. It’s one of those properties that prove that older buildings have a certain charm. If you are a person that needs the newest of everything, then this property wouldn’t be for you; but if you don’t mind having the sounds of ‘age’ around you and enjoy a rustic feel, then give this place a try.

Easy to get to from the main road and conveniently located about 15 mins from State Farm Arena. Andy at the front counter was super nice and helpful. Once we settled in and we're going to bed, that's when the train started. About once an hour a train would go by right next to the motel and blow the horn multiple times very loudly. Husband and son sleep thru it but i almost had a heart attack! It was so loud! Also a lot of cars race up and down the main road and that can be loud as well. Breakfast was good but if you're a light sleeper then i would skip this place.

Service was unpleasant- hotels.com too
Wasn’t able to check in because they asked us for a $300 cash only deposit. They stated it was only for locals though. This was not on hotels.com website description or the actual hotel. We didn’t find out until checkin. They wouldn’t accept debtor or credit. They wouldn’t change or cancel our reservation and hotels.com was unable to help us either. Moral of the story I can’t recommend this hotel. It was in a ghetto area also.

Had a room next to Grand & the noise at night from traffic, the RR, & during the day from Air Force planes was very loud.
The room & breakfast were okay.
If you stay here, ask for a room a distance from Grand.

This property is on a busy road 60. Also lots of train noise. We didn’t feel particularly safe even at the rear of the property. Also the free breakfast is frozen burritos and mc muffins. They were out of juice.
Also there are multiple bullet holes in the lobby front glass window. Perhaps a kid with a pellet gun drove by one night. Not the sign that makes a guest feel safe. We stayed there because of the low price.

It was an older hotel but kept up very good. Our suite room was large, clean and updated.Fridge/Microwave
We came for a concert and it was a convenient drive and close.
Check in was a dream and the gentleman was polite, kind and very helpful. We just stayed one night.
Pool looked to be clean and updated and full of happy families! Love that!.

I've never stayed at a louder hotel in 40 years of travelling. Between the main road right outside with drag racers and the train blowing it's horn 3 x a night and the loud partying, this place is a 0 on a scale of 1-5.

The 300 cash deposit for local residents! They didn’t take credit or debit cards, which was a little suspicious to me. I stayed there just three months prior and didn’t have to pay a cash deposit. The manager was nice enough to waive the ridiculous deposit. But some of the staff was rude and unprofessional. I will never stay there again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy! And it’s not posted online.

Disgusting! Room was dirty and people smoking meth right outside the door. Horrible place for anyone to go unless you’re a dope fiend. Definitely would not recommend for a family. Especially with littles.

For me this location was perfect, but if you're traveling with family (little ones), not so much. One slight annoyance: My TV only received one channel... the bed sheets had a faint smell of urine... and the parking lot is small. It was only a one-night stay so it was acceptable.

The staff were wonderful, the room clean, the beds comfortable, everything worked. I used the pool on Thurs and it was refreshing, the breakfast more than adequate. The price reasonable/

We were put in a motel room for our 4 night stay. We had to go to the front desk for towels, coffee replacements and anything else we wanted as our rooms were not serviced. Duct tape on the bottom of the door to keep the light out, darkening shades taped to cover the holes. Most of the light bulbs were out and so very dark in there, especially the nearly black floors. Everyday, even at breakfast, we drank coffee out of cardboard cups. The selection was satisfactory for someone who doesn't eat breakfast, but we survived. The bathroom was from the 70's, yellowed and old. Chipping paint on the ceilings, grout missing and the shower/tub was very slippery! I hung on to the soap dish to turn around. There were rooms in another part of the propery, but we were not given one of those. We we were not going to stay the 4 nights but we had already paid and with Expedia there are no refunds.

Woken up 4 times by the train
This is an okay hotel but that doesn't matter when the main thing you want in a hotel is a good night's sleep. I was woken repeatedly all night long with the loudest train I've ever heard. I've lived near trains, stayed near trains before, but this one was so loud it may as well have been in the next room! I went to sleep at 9:30, woken up at 11, up at 12:30, up at 2:30, up at 3:30. This would be a good location for a warehouse, not a hotel.

lobby smelled was the first clue. dirty bathrooms, someone let impromptu swimming trunks on the AC to dry must have been missed by the cleaning staff.
road noise, road noise, road noise. did I mention the trains?
doors that barely worked, I could go on and on.
find another hotel is my advice.

I chose this as a place to stay since I was going to be attending the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert later that night. The front of house attendant was super friendly and gave me some good advice about heading to the concert. The breakfast the next day was awesome and the staff was super friendly and attentive.

This is an older building but well kept. The room was large with comfortable king bed and updated bathroom. Sound proof. Excellent breakfast bar, very clean and stocked. Staff was friendly. On main road so very busy.

We went to a concert at State Farm arena - the place is older and it is close to the train tracks which can be noisy. Not in “the best” part of town but def not unsafe. The room & amenities were nice. Staff was really kind and patient, especially for such a busy night!

Check-in clerk was rude. I had requested a non-smoking room, however when we walked in the room did smell like smoke. The curtains were dirty and torn. Door didn't seem to lock properly.

The staff was great! Friendly and informative.
The room was not…up to par. Not only were the linens not clean (thankfully I travel with my own), but the safety latch on the door didn’t even reach to put them together. I travel with my own door latches for such occasions, however not many people do. The bathroom was not clean when we got in, the towels weren’t either. It was not a good place to stay with my kids.

The suite building is excellent. A door to the parking lot, car is right outside room. Another door into a hallway. Very spacious room and a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast had some unique items, packaged fruit, microwave egg burritos, Jimmy Dean sausage muffins.
Check in process was TOO slow. Too many anaomilies to go through with a line to check in 6 deep. They have to photocopy your id, you have to know your vehicle license plate number, person checking in has to be the one who made reservation, and gawd help you (and all others in line) if you accidentally booked a smoking room (who has smoking rooms any more). They need to consider an on-line check-in process.

The fact they give you free earplugs should be all you need to know. Very noisy with jets, trains, and cars. Carpet in room had holes in it and we could smell dog pee. The bed was very comfortable and other than the carpet issues, the room was clean.
