The cops should shut this place down
Three times in two hours ppl obviously on drugs knocked in my door lookj g for ppl IV never heard of but who obviously everyone else has ....This place isn't even safe enough to use the restroom much less close your eyes in .

The rooom is fair. It seems to be updated a bit. The mini fridge has a smell in it and the whole room has a musty smell as well. I had to use some air freshener. The water pressure in the shower is great!!

3 police cars showed up. People in and out of rooms all night; men dropping women off and waiting on them to finish their business then leaves with them. Felt very unsafe.

Not very clean, my toddler found a soggy oreo cookie under one of the tables in the room.
There was also black hairs in our suppose to be clean towels.
Pool was dirty.
Only positive note was it was quite at night, when trying to sleep.

It’s very quiet & peace. Clean place to stay. Stay is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend hotel any day.
However you can’t control others, but i do wish that i didn’t have anyone above me smoking weed. Which i could smell downstairs.

Unfriendly staff. Broken, full of water, leaking refrigerator, cigarette burn holes in bed spread, toilet would hardly flush, sink faucet leaked all over countertop…etc. I highly recommend removing this facility from your site.

In the main room non of the lights worked except the bathroom lights and it smelled like chlorine as soon as I walked in. All the bathroom towels were dirty and the shower had hair from someone else in it. The staff was very nice and very well organized.

Pothead paradise.
Room was clean. Bed was not very comfortable. Pillows were flat. Towels were so small it took 3 to dry a single person. So many of the guests were smoking pot on the balconies everyone was pretty relaxed. Our room smelled like pot most of the two days we stayed at Regency Inn.

The top floor is for smokers, but they smoke downstairs in front of the non smokers doors! It was completely stupid. I will not be staying again do to other tenants. But if you looking for a cheap ok place, go for it.

I thought it was a hotel, by looking at the picture you were sure it was. Nothing for breakfast but coffee and the lights weren't on in the buffet area so you couldn't see the coffee.

Basic motel - nothing fancy. The pillows were so flat and the bed was on the less comfy side but no complaints for the price. And it was right across the street from a park and the water which was lovely.

I would love to see improvement
Always be positive when possible.
#1 We live in the greatest country in the history of the world. With that in mind, anything that we Americans find to be less than standard should be put in perspective.
#2 The shower was nice.
#3 It is close to the beach (but not walking distance).
#4 The hvac unit worked well.
Those are the positives
● Smelled like smoke but we got used to it
● old, thin and dirty appearing towels.
● Skimpy on pillows and they were small, flat and dirtylooking.
● Curtains all appeared dirty from the outside of the windows, but does that affect the experience?
● We had the feeling that there was other "business" being conducted in the various rooms due to the constant activity and rotation of people we saw.
To the management: I am not in the hospitality industry and I don't understand what it takes to succeed, I am a customer and I do understand what we see from our perspective. It looks like you invested in the bathrooms which is great. I think that with some further upgrades in towels, linens and pillows, your customers will feel better about staying with you. If you replaced the carpet with something easy to maintain like vinyl laminate it would appear fresh and clean.
It is a basic motel, I get that, but a basic motel can provide just as nice an experience as your competition.
I challenge you to stay a night or two in one of your rooms and take notes on your experience.
Take some pride in ownership and management.

I loved everything about the property. I liked that we could sit out at the pool area and enjoy ourselves until 9pm. The staff was so nice ande friendly and greeted me with a smile. I most definitely will be choosing this motel again. I traveled from Alabama and I was very pleased with everything...

Great price and location
Perfect location at a great price. You are 10-15 minutes from Destin activities one way and Navarre Beach the other way. Close to a Walmart and Target. They have a park for the kids across the street. The bed was uncomfortable was the only complaint I had. The check in process was easy and the staff was very friendly.

Just okay, not great
The room was fine. It was clean and my request for no service was respected. There were several small issues that impact the quality of a stay. No place to hang clothes, no facial tissue, no iron and ironing board, no desk with the appropriate information (to include no service or do not disturb sign), no Gideon Bible, no coffee pot, (when you don't have a Continental breakfast, there really should be a coffe pot in the room). With no one at the desk for check out, there was no receipt provided. There was a deposit charged that wasn't posted on the website. People were pleasant and helpful enough, just not what you would expect in a service industry.

Pretty good, but kinda musty at first.
Pretty good. The bed has a metal frame that makes a small banging noise when you sit on it and the room smelled kinda musty at first, but it kinda went away once the AC was running. Worth it if you’re just staying for the night.

The hotel is okay. It appears to be an older building so not much you can do about that. Rooms were basic. Towels are minimal. Staff was okay but nothing outgoing. Bedding is minimal but comfortable. It’s a decent place for a day or two stay or if on a budget

The floors were extremely dirty. Very limited staff that didn't want to do anything. No coffee maker in room. Shower not clean. Dirty socks from someone else was in room. No ice bucket in room. Tv was set to turn off and couldn't be changed. Cleaning staff laying on bed in room after cleaning it while taking a break.

The property is old and a little rundown, but the room was clean and omfortable.The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. I arrived at 5 pm and was told my room was not ready to come back in an hour (I had been on the road all day). When I returned the room was still not ready so she "gave me another room, but it would be a few minutes before it was ready" too. At the morning coffee service, there were only plastic cup intended for cold drinks and the desk clerk could not be bothered to do anything about that - "what's there is all we have." She told me. The price is right and, In a sense, you get what you pay for with this property.

A good spot to rest after fishing
Room was clean and ready to get in. Only thing I would change would be to remove the carpeting and go with all tile flooring. Easier to keep clean.

Overall not terrible for a last minute, cheap booking, but killed a roach in the bathroom when we got here, towels were scratchy, and only had 3 very flat pillows. But water pressure was great, bed was comfy (despite the pillows), and room was overall clean.

This place was the worst place I have ever stayed at. I bought a air freshener but it did not get rid of the smell, dirty and gross. Moldy. Light sockets exposed just a disgusting place. I checked out the next morning and ate the cost for the other three days I had already paid for thru Expedia.

This place is really a good motel for work crews, long-term cheap rent, and budget stays, but it is not a quality place. Wireless internet is run by a third-party. Management can not fix any issues, you must contact the third-party. Old appliances (all sorts) and many not in working order.
Again, this is a super-thrift place that in not so cheap.

Pleasantly surprised
Stayed over a week and only intended on being there for 4 nights ! Staff is friendly and they are reasonable people ! :) staycation go to ! They must have new management or housekeeping or something because there were no issues with anything that some of the otter reviews being left. No issues like that at all ! :)

The room was clean but some graffiti on bathroom door. It was noisy at night from the folks in the parking lot. I’m unsure if drug dealing was going on in the parking lot. There were stray cats everywhere. I didn’t feel safe at night with my family.

For what I needed during my time in Fort Walton Beach this was a great place to stay and for the value I would definitely stay here again. I had no issues during my stay. If I was gonna have any complaints it would be the AC did not blow as cool as it should but it wasn’t bad. I will stay here again in the future

This motel was ok. Very over priced for the for the type and shape of the facility. I’ve stayed in worse but some major improvements could be done. A/AC’s should be recharged and serviced on a regular basis to make sure they blow full cold air all the time just not light cool air out of one side of the unit. Beds could use an upgrade also. You could hear the aluminum on the bed frame give every time you say on the bed…

Arrived around midnight. Check-in was quick. That was literally the only good thing...guy was nice. No parking near room; had to back out and park at the front of the hotel. Room was literally like a glorified jail cell (from what I've seen on tv). Everything was old, dirty, and rusty. I was going to take pics but I would not have known where to stop. Plus, I was starving. Vending machines wouldn't take my card or cash. I had to drive to Whataburger and wait 45 mins. to get a shake just so I could take my supplements because the water coming out of the tap smelled atrocious. I was afraid to touch anything, and thanked God it was only for one night because I was not about to shower in that place. The bed was comfy and sheets were clean.

The place did not look clean and it was very inconvenient for us after driving 6 hours . We didn’t even get to stay there or allow to park there due to our boat . Mind you there is ocean all around us . And they didn’t want to give us any of our refund back. The lady up front was very rude . We don’t suggest this hotel to anyone !

Quiet lil get away

Roach infested Regency Hotel
WORST HOTEL EVER!!! Find out they have COCKROACHES and when i told them about their COCKROACHES they called the POLICE on us claiming there was an ALTERCATION. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED and HUMILIATED. My toddlers had dead roaches in the bed with them. BROKE MY HEART.....ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The owners did everything to deflect responsibility for THEIR problems. NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR PEST CONTROL AT MY HOUSE. EVEN MORE DISGUSTING......PLEASE DON'T SPEND OVER $200 ON THIS NASTY HOTEL. When we rented it we were worried because there were NO pictures of the hotel. Pictures aren't always accurate Anyways. I am contacting BBB, Health Dept. and wherever else I need. It's costing me at HOME now!!!! We killed the one's in the pictures. Except the one in the bed with my children. It probably died from my child rolling in bed.

There was nothing unique about this property. Location is fine, paid almost $1000 for 3 nights for 1 small bar of soap and bath towels that are the size of hand towels. needs major renovation. No room service provided. Furniture and bed was nice. All linen and pillows need to be changed.

Overall comfortable and relaxing stay. Friendly staff, appreciate the knock every morning in regards to clean towels garbage bags soaps etc vending & ice machines as well as a nice swim if desired. Friendly Dog park across the street. Hotel is also pet friendly (; Overall very satisfied with our experience especially at such a short notice. Thank you!

The location is easy to get into, the maid did not clean the room well at all. She took trash and picked up dirty towels. The beds were not made, no fresh washcloths, and floor not vacuumed.

Extremely rude front desk service. When I booked a second night with the app, they charged me an "early check un fee" for the second night. We stayed in the same room! Total baloney! As I waited to check out, they were arguing with another group about their check-in because they had booked their room and paid from China...seemed very racist...
