Good for a 1-night stand
If you need to be in the area 1-2 days for work or to fly in/out of Dulles, this is a good spot for a good rate. Anything more, you might find the noise and lack of hot water (and pressure) in the shower too disruptive. I had the water temperature all the way to hot and it barely got warm. The hair dryer in my room also was defective that the 'hot' setting didn't work so I basically had to walk out with wet hair than spend 30 min using a setting that was like someone literally blowing on my head to dry my hair.

Great front desk service! Internet is terrible, especially for streaming services. HBO was freezing every few seconds and very pixelated and then Netflix didn’t work at all, but not a huge deal.
The only really negative thing was our shuttle ride to the airport (12/24 @3:30am). The driver was flying through the parking lot and down the small road at 65 MPH (not an exaggeration). He barely said a word to us and didn’t seem happy to be there, which isn’t a huge deal, it was really just the driving that terrified us. I was actually afraid for my life, wondering if he was drunk or what was going on. I was wishing we’d just paid for an Uber. He also dropped us off at a random gate and didn’t ask where we needed to go. I would not advise letting this driver take folks anywhere. He pulled such fast turns and braked very suddenly multiple times. VERY scary!

Bathroom not properly cleaned, left hair on surfaces from previous occupant. Toilet holder fell apart. Bedding does not smell that fresh either, smells of cheap detergent.

Ok place to stay
We had to change rooms due to noisy heating unit. The room lacking amenities, like shower cap and body lotion. Thin towels.

Very nice and recommended
We stayed a night for an airport drop off. We arrived late around 11 pm along with my aged father and got a suitable room. The first room given was having an issue with the countertop in the bathroom and upcon calling the front desk, they immediately changed the room gave the keys.. all within 5 mins.The room is pretty clean and well maintained. Pretty close to IAD airport and they also have airport drop. It takes 12-15 mins to reach the airport. Recommended!!

An unexpected joy staying here... called the hotel from airport, shuttle promptly came to pick me up... very nice driver, and very nice staff at the counter at check-in. The new Metro station is really close, and it was a lot of fun to take that into DC and see all the new stuff built along the Silver line. Recommend staying on the south side of the sidewalk when walking to the Metro though, as there aren't actual crosswalks right at the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is really new, and modern in design. One issue with the designs which I'm sure they know about is the water which sprays out of the doorless shower has distressed the bottom of the bathroom door. Otherwise, this place is so nice and it was the quitest and most pleasant hotel I've stayed at in years. Thank you!

I stay here whenever I’m traveling out of Dulles Airport. It is a very nice, clean facility. On this particular checkin the staff at the counter were somewhat abrupt, but I guess they may have been stressed out.

Overall, a nice stay but extremely disappointed to have been told on the phone that our long term parking was free for the duration of our trip. I had specifically called to ask, as we are staying at the same place on the front and tail end of our trip and was told it was free as long as we were there for one night. Front desk staff informed us as we were leaving that we needed to pay $145 for parking. Would have been good to know ahead of time so we could research other options.

Appeared to be a newer, very modern hotel. Our room was very quiet. AC was very cold, and the staff was pleasant. Entering the room it was clean well-maintained with definitely consider staying here again, and can understand why the reviews are good.

Very nice hotel. I was just disappointed in the shower. Everytime someone flushed or got into the shower in a different room the water pressure would drop. It would just about stop the flow for a moment. Otherwise nice hotel and close to the airport.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly, easy 5-8 min walk to metro. Unfortunately our room TV did not work, we asked for a King bed but stated we had reserved 2 Queens for our reservation and could not change -- which was false when referring to order confirmation email. Airport to the shuttle was easy to use but the staff were not knowledgeable regarding timing of when the shuttle would be arriving/departing from hotel. Stay overall was fine, but we only stayed one night for an early flight hotel. Had it been longer it would have been a more unpleasant stay.

We had to wait at the airport for the shuttle 53 minutes, we called when we were waiting for 20 minutes and they stated over the phone that it was going to take 10 minutes, the shuttle to arrived. It was sent through, it took after the phone call 33 minutes.

Nice hotel, front desk inconsistencies.
Very clean and comfortable, no problems there. Upon check in, though, front desk did not inform us that the restaurant closes at 9:30am for breakfast. So the following morning when we went down to eat at 10am, we were out of luck. Front desk person said we could go a short walk away to either a Vietnamese or Kebab restaurant. Unfortunately those options did not work for people in our party with dietary restrictions. So we had to drive to a Panera 10 minutes away. We also needed bedding for our pull out couch because it wasn’t in the closet. When I called the front desk the person I spoke with said she would run it right up. 30 minutes later we were still waiting (by then it was 10:30pm). I called the front desk and another person answered who told me I needed to come downstairs because they don’t have housekeeping after 8:30pm. Basically, a nice comfortable place to stay, but it is in the middle of nowhere but urban apartment sprawl, and the front desk was very inconsistent with doling out information. So make sure to ask specific questions of them and assume nothing.

Great place to stay near Dulles airport but it’s in the middle of nothing. There weren’t any places to eat close by so we ate at the hotel restaurant. We ordered food to take up to our room and it took about 45 minutes to get our food. That was the only downside. Besides that, the staff was really nice and the room was very clean!

It was a convenient hotel. Because it's Courtyard by Marriott, you already know it will be a decent hotel. Really nice to have the 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport. It is the reason I chose this hotel. Very timely pick up and drop off.

Have always stayed at a Courtyard because they are comfortable, clean and not terribly expensive. I was SHOCKED to discover that the breakfast bar was no longer provided - replaced by an order service that charged for all food INCLUDING coffee/tea. I guess I am done with Courtyard if that is the norm for all of them now. Hello Embassy Suites….

I give this a 9 out of 10.
I highly recommend this Courtyard by Marriott location. The hotel is modern, beds were comfortable, check in and check out were smooth. I booked 2 rooms and we were given rooms next door to each other without asking. The only drawback was that breakfast was not complimentary. I would stay here again. The only reason I didn’t give it a 10 out of 10 was due to no complimentary breakfast.
