It was a nice place to stay if your not pickey. You dont get room service. You can ask front desk for stuff. The room could use a little work but over all i would stay again

Great stay at Sonesta ES Suites Providence - Airport. Quiet (so sound of airplanes whatsoever), great room (we got the "loft" room with 2 queen beds on the bottom floor and 1 king bed on the top floor. Two bathrooms. Good breakfast.

I did enjoy my night stay, although there was hookah burns on the rug I made sure to take pictures so they don’t take it out my deposit. There was cops riding by like crazy with their bright lights on, there was alcholics near my door that was just staring at me and the worst part was breakfast the eggs was watery no waffles like ew, then the pool area the hot tub was giving it was giving warm water so was the pool. Although my sister and gf made sure I had a good time.

Property showing its age. Nice apartelle, however not cleaned well. Glasses not washed and I saw a cockroach in the sink. Breakfast had some dubious characters - I don't think they were clients/residents - someone crashed in to have some breakfast - and take out. Saw someone smoking marijuana at the "foyer" - security did not confront. They were definitely within hotel property and not in the parking lot. Shame.

Party and prostitutes? NEED SECURITY
Upon arrival i had to sign saying there were only 3 of us in the room and that we would not have a party. Thought it was a little strange but did it. Place is set up like a little apartment community and was real cute. Except we were on the first floor and there was a huge party going on above us all night. The floors creak with every step and they were stomping. Especially after i asked them to please keep it down. It was well after 1am. Cops came. Said they didn't hear anything. They left. Party continued. Teenagers all over the courtyard being loud and oblivious. I finally had to switch rooms to get away. Saw another party while moving rooms with "prostitutes" coming out. It was after 4 am when the large group finally walked all the way through the courtyard, yelling, to leave.
I was told by the front desk it was a public property and nothing could be done about the children partying if the police wouldn't do it. They acted afraid of them. Apparently this area is known for these things? I had my son with me and it was absolutely horrible. Completely overshadowed the fact that we had a little apartment for the weekend 1400 miles from home.

Disgusting! The floor was extremely dirty. When I first arrived, I took my shoes off, I was wearing white socks, and my socks turned brown from the floor. The kitchen floor was even worse! There were food crumbs left and it had not been moped in a while. The sofa was dirty. I felt something sticking and l pulled the cushion up only to find more food and a sticky hand. There was questionable residence that was smoking marijuana and they were up throughout the night. Spend the extra couple hundred dollars and stay somewhere with better reviews!

We eventually did not stay at this hotel. We were late arrivals and were verbally threatened by two separate groups of black guests (we are white). One group by the reservation area and a group of six by our unit. We were so scared we didn’t even go inside. We saw black females walking outside in their underwear and other groups just loitering around late at night smoking weed. I felt very unsafe and left immediately. I do not trust the online reviews. This place may look nice online but the people who live here make it a drug den. We saw many cars just driving in and out. Management was informed but I’m sure they are well aware of who is living in their units.

Convenient for an independent stay with your pet
This is a convenient place to stay if you want an independent experience where you can bring your dog and your own food.
I have stayed here many times and was pleased that the front desk was able to accommodate my request to move rooms.

Friendly staff/room smelled of cigarette smoke
The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking and mine reeked of cigarette smoke. I truly believe that the odor was in the air system for the room. I know the staff would have found me another room, but they were fully booked. So for me room cleanliness was an issue.

Needs some TLC
This room was dated, dirty, and clearly not maintained on a regular basis. The carpet was dirty, paint was peeling, cabinets broken. Thank goodness the beds appeared to be clean. The overall space of the room was perfect, including 2 bathrooms. The room definitely needs a little TLC.

Spacious rooms!
Cute, spacious rooms, clean! Hot tub works, but water temps were not that warm. Everything else was perfect from the check in to check out. Very cute outdoor patio!

Worst Sonesta I've stayed in
It was covered in fruit flies and I had absolutely no warm water in morning. I'm not saying it wasn't hot. It wasn't even warm.

Dirty bathroom, water tub did not go down. A/C was not working second day I was moved out of that room. The bed sofa had no sheets. Lots of mildew and outside lots of smell of people smoking pot.

Would not recommend this hotel
We took a family vacation and the stay was average, but I was very disappointed with the room. The pictures of the room was deceiving making it look much nicer and newer than it actually was. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and it had a dingy/musty odor. The carpet was very dirty and disgusting. My kids walked around in their socks and they were black from the carpet dirt. There were cobwebs everywhere inside on the walls and vents and the ceiling fan did not work. The shower on the loft floor did not have water pressure and the shower on the bottom floor kept turning off and on. I just did not feel like the room was clean at all and felt very uncomfortable in the room. The front desk staff were not very friendly. Every time I wanted to change my towels they questioned how long I am staying and why I need so many or why I even need clean towels at all. They said they could only give me what I return dirty, like an even exchange. The one day I went to get new towels, there were none and I had to return in the afternoon and there were still none when I returned. The pool was nice, but towels are nowhere to be found and had to go to the front desk for them which again questioned how many I needed. Breakfast was ok and the breakfast staff were very nice and friendly.

I spent over 10 days. I had a first floor unit as I requested. That was important to me. Plenty of closet space.Pet friendly. Small apartment-like unit. Great parking outside my door. Clean. No bugs or insects. Only two things I would suggest. Room carpets should be cleaned/shampooed. Laundry room needs to upgrade. Coin operated is old school. But the machines worked accept one..

More than expected 95 out of 100%
more than expected. Clean and comfortable. One man at the desk was borderline rude but the rest of the staff were fine. The first night the internet did not work. When told front desk he gave us an attitude. The woman in the afternoon apologized and gave us the number for internet. The phones don’t work for communicating with the hotel.

We checked in. The front desk staff was helpful. We went to our room. It was not clean and some of the furnishings were stained. We were very disappointed in the condition of the overall property as well as the room. It appears quite old and in disrepair as well as dated. We returned to the check in area and checked out. We were refunded the price of the 1 night we had booked. The photos of the property on Expedia are not an accurate representation of the property.

I had an overall decent stay at the Sonesta ES Suites near Providence Airport. The location is convenient, especially if you’re flying in or out, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The suite itself was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a kitchen area, which is a nice perk for longer stays. However, some areas of the hotel could use updating, especially the bathrooms, which felt a bit outdated. The cleanliness was acceptable, but not spotless.For the price, it’s an average stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Stayed in a king bed room on the first floor. It was well designed and comfortable for a couple or single. Furnishings and property in general are pretty tired but clean. Very convenient location if you’re visiting the area for a while. Airport, Mall and numerous restaurants of all kinds within a 5 minute drive. Front desk people… some very friendly and helpful, some need to get a “how to smile” lesson. We’d stay there again if the price was within our budget.

Stayed in building 6. The room needs some new carpets and other small updates to the room. The door was so loud opening/closing if you have kids they are sure to be woken up. Not the most comforting crowd hanging out at night.

The location was removed from stores, conveniences. It was in an industrial area.
The apartment was neat and clean but very spartan. And we were on second floor, hard to haul luggage and exposed in the rain .

Not given enough towels and they wouldn’t give me more at check in, had to ask again the next morning.
I think a number of units have permanent residents.
Lots of smoking everywhere.
I wouldn’t revisit but it’s cheap enough

Hotel is located in a strange location- among offices- but it is just a mile to restaurants and businesses. The room had stains on the carpet and burn holes in the couch. It was clean, but things were in fair to poor condition. The breakfast was acceptable.

Great place to stay with a family. It was like a small apartment with two beds in a room and then a king bed in a loft. Two bathrooms made it nice for our big family. The indoor pool and basketball court was fun for the kids as well. The complimentary breakfast was also a perk for our family.

Liked this hotel. We had 2 different rooms on our stay. This one was good just like the other one. Liked the sitting area and kitchen and the bed was comfortable. Front desk lady was very helpful in getting us into this 2nd room first thing in the morning so we didn’t have to pack up our whole car and bring our stuff with us the whole day. We very much appreciated that. Our first 2 days did not have the breakfast that was supposed to be provided but it was there on our last day and was very good.

We weren’t happy about the fact that the stay was supposed to include breakfast and there was none either of the 2 days as they were working on something. We stayed in the king bed suite and had planned to use the pull out couch as a second bed but the pull out couch had absolutely no bedding. There were no extra pillows, sheets, or blankets in the room at all. The room also had the smell of smoke. We got there later at night and were leaving in the morning so we elected to just deal witg it but had them note it so we would not be charged as it was a no smoking hotel. While at the pool there were no towels and i had to leave and get some from the front desk. Also there was a group of men on the patio outside the pool smoking and drinking and i had to shut the doors to the pool to stop the smoke from coming in. It was not ideal or what I was expecting.
