The room needed vacuuming because of crumbs from the construction that was being done on our floor. There was also some food crumbs. No towels were delivered to our room after a letter said they they planned on doing it.

Even though the property is being remodeled the staff did everything they could to attenuate any inconvenience a guest might experience. Quiet and pleasant, a gem of a hotel-plan to stay in the future.

Unfortunately, the property was under construction while we were there over Thanksgiving weekend. The construction was loud beginning at 8 am every morning. It also caused dirt and things to fall from the ceilings in the hallways. In fairness, they did let us know right before we got there about the construction. The employees were very friendly and nice. And the breakfast was good. There are good dining options nearby as well. We might be willing to try it again when the construction is complete.

I’m sorry Breakfast was awful eggs and waffles were bad they had no taste I’m not even sure they were real eggs taste like egg substitute. I was so glad you had oatmeal cereal, no variety of fruit. In need of much improvement. In the future it would be nice if you could rent a scooter for handicap your property is big for walking. Everything else was fine. I give a satisfactory 4 ⭐️ because of food and no handicap scooters rental.

Nice place to stay. Lot's of eating places near by. Negatives: BREAKFAST poor, some of the food is left over from the day before. Sausage, scrambled eggs, some type of burrito served from day before etc. Last Stay here 4 years ago Breakfast was super. Fresh Fruits, Ham, great eggs, great biscuits and gravy etc. Breakfast has gone down hill. We ate out after a couple of days. PARKING: They charge $3.00 a day with no designate parking sticker just park where you want. How is it regulated? Stayed up one night wondering if rental Vehicle would be towed. Overall enjoyed the stay except for the Breakfast and PARKING CHARGE. They advertise a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evening mixer with some food etc. on in room TV but did not happen. In the past Great evening mixers.

First the good stuff - the location of this property is a 10 out of 10, many great restaurants in easy walking distance, easy access to Loop 101 to get around Phoenix area. The staff were also excellent, very friendly and helpful.
On the negative, this property is due for some Reno’s - carpeting in side entrance and hallways stained and dirty, noticeable wear and tear, dimly lit hallways (when I first entered side entrance with our bags from parking lot, my first impression was “oh-oh, what have we got into”. The room was better, but still worn and patched carpeting. Bathtub was chipped, wouldn’t hold water for bath. Guest laundry had a broken washing machine door, not fixed during our two week stay. Bottom-line, I expected better for a property using Marriott name, and this was not a cheap price to stay. We only ended up here due to a VRBO that we’d booked was cancelled with little notice, we had limited options. Would I stay here again, probably not, too expensive for what you get.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Initially there was a mixup with our room, but it was corrected immediately. We were in a 2 bedroom suite and everything was clean and fresh. We will always stay in a Residence Inn from now on.

The property interior unit space was adequate but situated near a very noisy stairwell and worst of all, there was a next store neighbor yelling at his kids at 6am, 7am two of the mornings I was there. I can hear all clearly through the walls while trying to sleep. Also Jacuzzi was too heavily chlorinated and police were called by a crying woman on the first night of my visit, reasons unknown. Told they staff about the noisy neighbor and stairwell, but they could not offer a workable solution. Later emailed the hotel; 4 days still no response Sadly will not be back.

Would not stay here again.
The staff was great. The room smelled (my wife says urine, I couldn’t determine) the shower was slow to drain and the staff fixed it. The toilet clogged twice, once it self cleared the second time I had to unclog the toilet myself because they had no on call staff. They were booked (or they said so) and we’re unable to offer a different room. For anyone reading this review, if your room ends in an even number, you will get to enjoy the 101 freeway and bell rd. exit traffic.

Im going to give a detailed review but please know, I was pleased & I would absolutely stay here again- The bad 1st: it was not quiet (we had an end room?1st room at the top of the stairs) and incessantly heard slams from the outside door all night long. The fridge was loud as well with ice cubes clanking all at once in intervals throughout the night, and the toilet was broke & ran the whole time. I did not bother the front desk- as I know how to fix a toilet but it needed a new part so I had to fix it daily to keep it from hissing. That's not a big deal to me as I am sure someone would have been up immediately had I asked. There were some stains on carpets and handprints on doors but only in the interior of the hall. The hottub was broke the entire stay and I really looked forward to using it. Now the good which outweighed the bad by far:. The room was very clean- and staff were impeccable about getting anything I wanted, and very friendly. The BEST breakfast - everything was fresh, clean counters and topped off. This was not easy- as at times there were HERDS of people in there- and yet they kept breakfast piled high and were asking if anyone needed anything- I wasn't expecting this (nor would I have) and the food was really good, so good in fact, I never ate breakfast anywhere else. Tip- weekends breakfast is served an hour later than weekdays. And- its busiest about an hour-15 minutes after it opens.

The hotel is right next to the freeway. Our room was closest to the freeway. We hardly slept due to all the noise from the vehicles.

Many guests were using the place as their extended living home, which was fine until the people downstairs fried fish…… ew. There was an odor when I first checked in also. However in our room, it was clean and no complaints.

the staff is amazing, our room had a couple little problems, we called down and maintenance was up with in 15 min, we were there for a wedding and every time we asked for something the staff helped us and made our time there help us to be calm.

We liked Kimberly from the time I spoke to her on the phone until we met when we arrived on the property. She is a great asset to Marriott! She is always pleasant, professional and so personable! We liked our stay so much we plan to come back and stay the next time we are in the Phoenix area.

Choice of hotel was based on reputation as well as location to Airport and most of all round the clock airport shuttle. I received a text in the middle of the night that a Lyft driver would be picking me up at 4:20 am. Many confused guests standing out front at 4:30 am because there was no shuttle driver.

Poor customer service by manager
I shower head broke the first morning we were there. Although they fixed it before we returned later in the day they left the wet towels on the ground for all 4 nights we were there and the manager was less then sympathetic and helpful with the situation. Very disappointed

Really liked our studio room. Very well designed and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just precooked packaged food, so we ate elsewhere. Systems were a bit balky at check in, but the staff was nice and we were only slightly delayed. Our room faced the freeway but was fairly quiet. We’ll stay again for sure as the area is safe and there are lots of restaurants nearby and shopping readily accessible.

The Hotel allows pets which I like but I have allergies and didn't realize all the rooms allowed pets. I wasn't offered a pet-free room like they used to do with smoke-free rooms. I did have occasion to run into a loose pit bull as well. Not sure management could fix that though. I felt flea-bitten after my stay.

From the 1st night at check in did not have the room I reserved, suite w/2 bdr 2 bath. We’re give 2 rooms different floors different ends of hotel. Not 1 sign for where elevator was.
Got to room and it smelled. Both sink and refrigerator. Next day house keeper came up with 2 kerplunks for sink but refrigerator still smelled.
The last night around 12:30 am I found a BEDBUG on the bed. Got it in zip bag took to front desk and got another room. After moving my stuff found another BEDBUG on the table by my suitcase in new room. Gave me another room. Found one in there so I

Exactly what our family was looking for!
Our stay was nice, the hotel is located in a perfect location with many places to eat within walking distance. It was always refreshing to walk into a cool hotel after a hot day. The kitchenette was perfect for us.

I liked that I was accommodated for an early check in when I showed up. The facility was nice. The room was nice.
The main reason for writing this review though is to let those of you know that neither Expedia, nor the hotel let me know there was a non-refundable $150 per fee (that was taxed $19 as well). This was more cost than the room night I stayed. I would have chosen differently if I knew this, as there were other hotels that take pets. The General Manager told me that they deep clean every room after pets stay, but being in the hotel industry, I know this is not true.

I have stayed here a handful of times, and have been satisfied everytime. The one knock on em this time was: there were no towels in my room. While i was passing the front desk I was able to pick up a few so the problem was taken care of quickly.

Grab-and-go breakfast was disappointment; I understand Rona presents challenges, but some hotels choose to go above and beyond to make up for them, and this hotel does not. The pool is on the mostly shady side of the hotel (like after check-in time). The staff were super friendly. We needed TV assistance and were referred to an off-site vendor for technical support and figured out the TV on our own, about 1/2 hour before tech support finally called us back.

The Residence In Phoenix Glendale/Peoria was a very good hotel. It was clean, had excellent amenities, and the staff was very friendly. The whole process was great! The only thing that makes it a 9 out of 10 is it's a little worn. But I'd stay here again for sure!

Given COVID there was of course limited breakfast and housekeeping. However, we found that the clothes that we placed in drawers and on the closet shelf came out very dusty. Also we had to request additional dishwashing soap, towels, and trash can liners - it would have been nice to have those as part of the unit.

Not having the right room available and not what I booked
I could you leave cooked this room has a double room suite but during check-in it wasn't available and they assigned me to joining rooms but when I showed up to the rooms they were not at you any at all which was very unsatisfactory considering the fact that they were both supposed to be adjoining rooms. So is very unsatisfied with the stay.

Just so happens our room (224) was the only room available or ready when we checked in and we ended up a couple doors down from a group of young people that would walk in and out of their room (230) every 5 minutes and let the door slam everytime. Sounds of a party like yelling, screaming and laughing went on until 2:45am. It was a short rough night's sleep since we had to get up at 6:00am for our baseball evaluation.

So close to shopping, food and Midwestern campus. Great place for families due to full size kitchen, two bedrooms with two bathrooms!
