The Engineers dropped the ball in the main public area, the Elevator. It doesn't look like they PM it in months, It needs to be painted. The carpet was very worn and the ice machine was loud in my room, but other than that the stay was great.

Over rated
Hotel seemed out dated for a marriot. You would think any marriot hotels are 5 star rated. This one was 2 star...same rating a motel 6 would get. The double room suite wat congested overloaded w furniture that seemed unnecessary n cabinets are out dated.

I had requested a top floor room and they gave me a room on the top floor. Given they only have 3 floors. Also I had told them it was my Anniversary and they had left a card, some bubbly, and glasses for us.

Not as expected at all. More like an old Motel 6 than a Marriott property. Hallway smelled like rot. Really wondered if something was dead in the wall.

The room was great the only complaint I had was, the pull out bed in the couch could use a longer one it's kind of a short bed and have a better mattress and as like with every other Hotel shower more pressure would be great

Dated. Carpets are older, therefore not clean. Paint on doors chipped. There was glue or substance oozing out of tiles in kitchen area. Had to be moved to another room. Not much greater.

I liked that it had a kitchen. The property needs some TLC. We went to check out the pool area when we arrived and the hot tub was empty/out of order. The next day they were installing plywood over the hot tub and the pool area was now closed because of a faulty gate latch. There was dog poop all over the property, our room had a faulty microwave, rip in the carpet, and problem with the kitchen tap. I expect more from Marriott resorts.

Decent hotel but expensive in March
Our stay was fine. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room and public areas were clean. Pool area good. Only criticisms would be that breakfast finished at 9 during the week and 9.30 at weekends. It would be better for people on holiday for breakfast to finish later! Also a lot of single use plastic and polystyrene was used at breakfast. This could be improved I'm sure to be kinder to the environment.

Nice home away from home.
We had a great vacation stay. Room was comfortable and clean, well equipped and spacious. The breakfast was pretty much what you would expect for buffet, but it was tasty, especially the mini waffles! Staff was friendly, especially at check in. We arrived close to 10pm and someine assisted very quickly. Hotel is close to highway and several restaurants. Area seemed safe.

Standard Residence Inn. Room was standard, clean. Breakfast was good, Breakfast (including coffee) was immediately put away at 9 am, coffee could have been left out. Ran out of yogurt day before Thanksgiving. Good value proposition, I'd stay there again.

We requested a handicap room and was told the room given us was just as good. Shampoo rack was off the wall and sitting on the corner of tub. When I tried to use it I slipped and fell in shower. Luckly I was not hurt. No ice cup in freezer, so was unable to make ice.

Location has relatively close access to freeway and restaurants. Breakfast is great. Rooms are comfortable. Mattresses are very comfortable. Kitchen is a great feature for extended stays.

Terribly Disappointed
Most disappointing Stay I have ever had at a Marriot. . 2 Weeks before our Reservation I called and asked for Handicap Accessible - We were told that the room could not be saved for us. We called at least 10 Times between 1:00 PM & 5:30 PM - Trying to reach the front desk to remind them we could really use a Handicap Room for our 88 Year old mother & that my Sister may arrive before us and if they could check her in for me - The phone was never answered during this period of time. Unfortunately - We did not get a Handicap Accessible Room.
When we walked into the room - it smelled musty and moldy. After having dinner - My sister and I tried to go Swimming and use the hot tub - The Gate on the East Side of the pool is not working / it looks like it is about to fall off the wall. You can tell it has been broken for awhile - There was not a sign to let patrons know the gate was not working. When we got in the pool it was a little chillier than expected and we went to get into the Hot Tub - I was not working - it was cold and jets were not working. When back in the room we noticed in the bathrooms the corners behind the doors were not clean.
I understand that Breakfast is over at 9:30 AM But this Morning Sunday 11/07 I heard one of the Kitchen staff tell a Patron to Move out of the way (Not Excuse me Please - not I am sorry can I get in there please) Just Move out of the way. I have More to say / I will be sending a email 928-386-4190

Great hotel bad customer service.
Have stayed here many times before covid. Will no longer stay here. Through the app i specifically paid for a room that was seperated from the living room by a wall. Meaning it was a 1 bedroom with a living room. I needed the room because my husband and I were both working and it can be difficult at times working in the same room. Upon check in no one ever mentioned that they could not accommodate us. Once we got to the room we noticed it was just a suite meaning the kitchen, living room and bedroom was just an open space. So I called the front desk and they basically said it wasn't there problem since I booked through the app. Call hotels.com who called the hotel and told them to call back the following day. Seriously? What good would that have done. We were only staying 1 night. Horrible customer service. They lost a long time customer who referred many people here.

If you don't mind Prostitution, give it a go
The place was ok, but because we had a little dog, they put us in the most rundown area of the whole property. We had to sleep in worn-out beds directly across a room that had several prostitutes each night. They were coming and going out of the room. It was disgusting. We did not have a safe in our room as promised either.I complained to the front desk and I feel we should have been compensated for the nearly $300 we spend for the two nights

The room was very spacious, easy to find, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good..hot and allot to choose from.
The dishes had to be washed before we could use them, their was hair on the folded clean sheets for the pull out bed, the pool wasn't clean until our last day their, and as I was loading our truck to check out I got locked out with half my belongings still in the room (along with my phone).
Other then that it's a nice, quiet stay.

Dirty and run down. Severely lacking service. Staff encountered were friendly but unable to assist. Had 2 bedroom suite for 4 adults and the kitchen was only outfitted with enough glasses and utensils for 3 people. No maid service unless you request the day before. Towels not replaced when left in hallway as directed. Garbage all over the parking lots and hallways. Only saw a cleaning person once. Literally. This place is dirty. We requested to move to s as clean room and were told we had The last suite in the complex. I don’t buy it. Several things in the room were broken. Drawers. Toilet. Sinks don’t drain and we had to clean the funk ourselves. Backup bedding had HAIR on it like they don’t even change sheets. I’m not even kidding. The actual bedding appeared clean and beds were comfortable except the broken footings at the bottom. Definitely don’t recommend this hotel.

Very nice place to stay ,
very friendly staff from check in until check out. Easy check in as i was in and out and able to get too room quickly because i have just drove 1200 miles and was ready for shower and bed . will definitely come back , only downside is the thermostat is preset to shut off if it doesn’t detect motion , where i woke up a couple times because air shut off warming the room a bit but other then that excellent stay definitely will be back

Comfortable and Quiet
The hotel was clean and well stocked. Love that our room had a full kitchen and sitting area apart from the bed and bathroom area. Staff was friendly and quick during check in, check out, and breakfast. Quiet rooms without lots of noises from other guests.
The bed was not very comfortable with a large depression in the middle for you and your bedmate to constantly roll into. The shower drained so slowly that after 5 minutes, you were standing shin deep in soapy water. The tub finally drained an hour after our shower.
In general great hotel! We would stay here again!

Got a two bedroom sweet with a kitchen. Unfortunate no in room coffee, no silverware (even wrapped) or any sort of utensils that come with a typical suite with kitchen. Continental breakfast was a joke. No effort whatsoever. Carpet was in awful condition both in room and common areas.

Great stay
We only stayed one night, but most everything about the hotel was newly remodeled. So, it was all great. Breakfast was about what we would expect, and it was fine - no complaints. Room was quiet and we got a good nights sleep.

Nice hotel with just a couple of small issues. The main rooms are not connected to the front desk, which is also the same area breakfast is served. Phoenix is normally nice weather, but we were there when it was in the 30’s overnight. Also, the room had a mildew smell. It was only in the entry way, but as that’s your first impression, it was a little annoying. Overall, the stay was good as we were only in the room at night.

The hotel room was great. The pool was not heated which was a bummer for the kiddos that stayed for a team tournament - too cold for them to swim. The hotel rooms weren't attached to the lobby (had a separate side entrance) which was a bit strange. The service was great though and the room was clean.

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AND ENJOYABLE STAY
I chose this hotel as it was about midway between the airport and where my family lives. Access to the hotel was extremely easy and not far off from the 60. My initial experience was met with a wonderful lady at the desk who presented herself in a professional manner, provided good information for me on my first trip there. Accessing the room was easy, entering the side door, accessing the elevator to the 2nd floor and into the room. The room was clean, presentable, and if I were staying an extended period, would have been a welcome as it had all the necessities for an extended stay. The bed and pillows were comfortable without being too soft or feeling as if I were sleeping on a slab of stone. Controls for the air conditioner were easy to change to a more suitable temp. The hotel had it on the cool side, but I can understand for travelers not accustomed to Phoenix' temperatures. The only thing that was a drawback was an odd odor when entering the building. Nothing overpowering, just strong enough to be noticeable and wasn't present when I went into my room itself, only in the hallways. Who knows. The breakfast is akin to most "free" breakfast hotels. sausage/eggs, and an assortment of many other items kids and adults would enjoy. It is near many restaurants as well as previously stated, easy to access on and off highways for travelers heading out to destinations beyond.

Property was nice, clean and well maintained. Wish the fitness center was a little larger because with 2 people in there, it felt very crowded. The location was centrally located off the highway and fit our needs.
No dish detergent was provided only soap for the dishwasher, which we had to ask for twice because it was not left after the room was cleaned. Overall it was a good experience.

The hotel I recently stayed at I was greeted by friendly staff. However it took them three times before they could find my reservation. I was exhausted and just wanted to go to my room at that point. To get to my room I had to leave the building and enter another. The stairwell smelled musky and had a weird odor to it. The room itself was clean and nice. Very comfortable. The bed was soft and nice. The bathroom was where I had the issues. When attempting to take a shower the shower broke and the hose detached from the nozzle and proceeded to flood the bathroom floor before I could get to the water and turn the faucet off. The bathroom itself offered no towel hangers or towel bars to hang my towel on. I ended up using the wheelchair safety bar as my towel rack. The weather was 119 degrees outside, and while there was nothing they could do about the heat, the pool was out of order so I couldn't at least take a dip. Instead they were redirecting customers to use another hotels pool. Overall the staff was polite and accommodating. The morning breakfast was simple but good. The problems were with a broken bathroom and broken pool.

Kept disappointing us
In a few key points:
- Everything needs upgrading – everything is dated and smells old
- The AC unit is SO loud in the room that it wakes you up in the night, and the ventilation system allows cockroaches and spiders in
- Breakfast is OK, but the same thing every day and they don't check the dates on things, as loads of the yoghurts were out of date
- There are no ovens in the rooms (just a microwave and a hob), so not sure how the hotel can claim 'full kitchen' is included
- All the crockery was dirty so had to be put through the dishwasher before use
- The hotel location is pretty good – near to the highway and to loads of restaurants and shops, which was the only blessing
It wasn't a cheap stay either.
I certainly wouldn't come back here.

We arrived at 230 and was told we had to wait until 3 to check in, without knowing the area, it was a bit frustrating after a long morning of traveling. THe stay was ok, our room was near he golf course and they started mowing at 5am waking us up. The staff was friendly and my son enjoyed the breakfast. Close to major freeway.

Nice 4 night visit
4 nights, nice area in an otherwise so-so city. Hotel was clean, staff was courteous and helpful. The kitchen was adequate and served it's purpose, not modern, but quite funstional. The pool area was nice and well maitained. The breakfast was basic there were multiple choices, but after 4 days a bit more variety would have been nice. In general a very pleasant stay.

Mixed Emotions
Stayed there 4 nights. First off my hats off to the front desk girls. The two ladies that worked the front desk at my check in was absolutely the two nicest people that has ever checked me in a hotel and I stay an average of 2 nights a week for the last 39 years in hotels. The hotel was clean and was in a good neighborhood. The two problems was; my room(131)was by the elevator shaft/control room. Each time the elevator was used an air type hissing sound went on the whole time the elevator was moving/24 hours a day. I would had asked to change rooms but at check in I needed an extra day (which they found) but I was told the hotel was full then so I figured no chance of that changing rooms. The second problem was that a guest (I believe that was upstairs above me) had two dogs (poodles it sounded like) that barked the whole time they were in the room, day or night. Of course when they went out during the day no barking then, but the minute they returned the dogs barked non stop, between the dogs and elevator noise this was a very unpleasant stay, hotels fault? not entirely, but never in room 131 again at this hotel and the next time maybe the dogs will be at someone else's hotel.

Hotel needs upgrade. While staff is friendly they need to check rooms out for maintenance, toilet leaked. Dishes were dirty and had to be washed. I was not pleased with the room . Rugs needed to be cleaned. Entirely dissatisfied with the room

Air freshener needed
We spend 3 nights at Residence Inn. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and came included with the room... always a bonus! The bed was surprisingly comfortable. There was a terrible odor in our room upon check in that never was resolved even though the room was cleaned everyday. In fact, there was a funny odor in the hallway outside our room as well.
