Terrible hotel
Terrible hotel. The service was absolutely horrible. The front desk clerk was rude and lazy. No food in the morning which there was supposed to be a continental breakfast. The rooms were not cleaned properly. I was afraid to turn out the light.

Do not stay here
Second worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Took an hour to get into my room as I sent to multiple rooms already occupied or keys did not work. The staff was completely clueless. Highly recommend you spend a little more money and stay at a better hotel.

They gave me a smoking room first. Now i have a non-smoking room which has bad lighting. The TV does not work, they spent 5 minutes trying to fix it but said that is the best they could do. There isn't even a trash can in the room. Very very dis-satisfied with the whole experiernce.

My review
The staff was excellent. Only issues were my bed didn't
Have a blanket on it. There was no shower curtain, there was a huge humidifier in the room for some reason. And the AC unit heat unit only had 2 settings, hell or freezing.

There were people outside our room yelling and screaming. The room was run down and had cracks in the walls. The rooms were old, there were stains on the comforter and sheets. Would not stay again

Don’t waste your money
It’s obvious that the hotel is short-staffed and running on empty. It has potential but I arrived to my room and there were no towels, no cups for the coffee maker, the faucet on the sink didn’t work and no trash can in the bathroom. The next morning, I went to get breakfast at 8, and it hadn’t been replenished. I believe I got the last cup to be able to take a cup of coffee with me. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The last at the front desk was very helpful getting me a towel, but I feel bad she was even put in that position in the first place.

It was a budget friendly price, but i got what I paid for. The room was dated, and showed poor drywall repairs. Should have more than one towel and bath mat in the room. The room was below expectations for the Baymont chain, but i still got a good rate.

The carpet squished when you walked on it. All fabric chairs were sticky from dirt and who knows what else. Checked out early due to too dirty to have my dog in there.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Drug dealers, drug addicts and the hotel itself is extremely tired.

Dirty sheets
I don’t require much more than a comfortable bed and clean sheets. Unfortunately this trip, I got neither. Normally I stay here and always get a king size bed which are pretty comfortable. I checked in and they didn’t have that bed available (disappointing since that is what I paid for) but did have double beds which are rock hard. When I turned down the covers, both sets of sheets (on both beds) had stains and hairs. Needless to say, I laid towels down on top of the sheets for the night. Unless they figure things out, I will find another hotel next time.

This hotel was GROSS. Door was duct taped, bedding had actual foot prints, smelled NASTY, no towels provided and I had to go buy sheets and toilet paper myself…

Check in was supposed to 3pm, our room was not ready til 4:30pm. The front desk staff seemed very inefficient. After we had been in our room for a couple of ours another guest showed up at our door with a key card for the same room. Somewhere close to our room somebody was playing a boom box very very loud until 2:15am (it was shaking the walls). I can't believe other guest did not complain as well. In our room we only had a bath mat, one bath towel and two, I think face face towels but no Wash cloths, and I had to request more. There was no coffee and accessories for using the in room coffee maker.

Avoid!! Pictures are deceiving! People walking around at all hours of the night. Got told at least we could see our car from the room. Dead bugs, stained sheet, couch was disgusting, paint peeling from walls, holes in the walls, remote dirty. I could go on! Definitely felt unsafe will never come back id rather sleep in my car!

Rooms were clean with all the amenities. Motel pool, though was overrun by zealous rambunctious children (about 40 of them ) who were celebrating someone’s birthday ( with parent’s supervision) from 8AM to 8PM. Most of the kids were from outlying neighborhoods. Parents and the hotel management let them take over. I am elderly with spinal stenosis and osteoporosis. My younger friend and I checked in in the afternoon and hoped to use the pool. The water was yellow and murky by the time the party had concluded. The poor maintenance supervisor was not even able to have even a few minutes to clean the pool. It is totally amazing to me that there is a prominent sign in the breakfast room warning of a limit of 2 sausages per person but regular paying guests are beholden to people who are gathering from the outside to use the property for a private birthday. This is the managers’ fault bc they were aware of this all day and did nothing.

The only good thing about this experience was the refund. The clerk was able to fully refund my room. Walked into the room and there was water from a leaking toilet on the floor of the bathroom and out into the room itself.
I didn’t expect much for the price but I did expect a room for me and my family
The clerk spent more time walking around the property and chatting with a residents”drunk”
After being on the road all day having to find another room at almost midnight was problematic and cost me more than twice what I had paid. He offed to let us keep that room and the manager would “probably compensate us for the inconvenience. But not anything more after it took almost an hour to get checked in, find the room, track him down to tell him about it.

The property looked nothing like what was advertised on expedia, the room had a funny odor, linen were stained, housekeepers were cleaning rooms with a filthy mop. The toilet was broken and leaking on the floor.no towels or washed cloths were put in the rooms after it was supposed to have been cleaned. When they did bring some, they looked like cleaning towels. The stairs smelt like urine and they had sketchy looking people around the premises. I didn't even stay in the room 20mins ,i checked right out.

I will be calling DHEC because she was told that she was placed on a DNR when she went to pay for another night because a bad review was placed on my account. Which is unlawful and the police we're called to her room at 10:48 while she was in the process of getting her thing together! This will not be unmarked nor unnoticed! She recorded EVERYTHING and I've seen it with my own eyes! I've had her call with my lawyer on the phone which was also recorded and she was hung up on ! We have tried to contact them multiple times and have received no answer so . We will no longer try to contact anyone else but we will be taking this situation to court because of the health issues that are continuously going on .

This property is terrible! It was dirty in the floor corners. The toilet valve is bad. The sink was all caulk on one side. The tub faucet drips. Bath vanity was broken. Overall condition of room was unsatisfactory.

I have stayed in Baymont Inns all over America. This is THE worst I’ve ever used. It’s an embarrassment to the brand. I can’t cite how many things were broken or not operating. The final straw was setting out breakfast and not having ANY plates or bowls to hold the food. When asked as to when there would be, the staff member at the desk shrugged his shoulders and said I don’t know and went back to playing games on his phone. I gave it a Terrible rating but would give it worse if I could. Do not stay here. Not worth it. I’ve never given a rating this low before.

No one was at the counter when I arrived. Toilet didn’t work and overflowed. No toilet paper when I arrived. Curtains didn’t close. Insects in room. My car was nearly damaged by people fighting in parking lot.

Tv did not work. Bathroom exhaust fan had to be plugged into an outlet 7 feet up the wall which meant ibhad to stand on the toilet to reach it. The whole place smelled of pot. The breakfast was a joke, no plates, the orange juice and apple juice was bad, very limited supplies. After i checked in, i called the front desk because the instructions for the wifi did not work. Come to find out the instructions were not accurate and the front desk clerk acted like i was bother him at his job and just hung up on me. Over all, i would not recommend this hotel without major improvements.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for but tried to give it chance since the Wyndham name was associated with this hotel. Sheets were dirty, got moved to a different room, sheets were still dirty but better than the first room. Used a blanket I brought with me to sit on the bed. Only used room to change clothes and left. Did not sleep in room. However, staff tried to be accommodating.

Decently Priced but needs a lot of work!
The outside of the hotel was nice. Our room was extremely outdated. Dirty bathroom floor. Boogers around the light switch for bathroom. Gross! The upside was the breakfast which was included in the price of the room. Decently priced. Definitely a one-time experience. Will not stay there again.

Needs major improvements!!
The first room we were in the refrigerator didn't work and the toilet paper roll was broken. Then we further learned that the sink was stopped up. So they moved us to another room and i was so discussed with the inside of the microwave which was rusted and the front of the refrigerator had multiple rust spots on the outside. The bathroom was either cleaned are half cleaned because there were either red smeared paint ir blood on the inside of the bathroom door! The tub needs a major cleaning or just to be replaced because we couldn't get the water to cut all the way off. Service was horrible when we asked for towels early morning and didn't get them.until after 4pm that evening. They only thing that came out good was the young lady who was checking us in! She did everything pissible she could do but her hands were tired and she answered to someone higher. The hotel needs to be upgraded really bad. One a scale of 1 to 5. I would give this hotel a 2.😔😔

There was no remote for the tv. The desk gave me one from a box of old remotes to try. It did not work, went back and they gave me another; no luck. I immediately checked out and asked to be refunded. I'm done with this place.

i am a frequent traveler to Florence and the price was right. Needed a lot of work. I repeated my stays as i felt they were trying, They need to do better. they double rooms, due to poorly trained staff. I was placed in a room with a soaked carpet, they did change my room the next day. The last straw/stay, after paying in full, I was not in the system. I got back from work to find someone else in the room. "They didn't have me or the room in the system.they cleaned my belongings out of the room and booked to someone else. The staff took 2 freshly pressed uniforms, a computer, and fresh food from the refrigerator, packed all my belongings. they rented the room, because i was not in the system. It does not take a genius to figure out a person is not going to leave hundreds of dollars in electronics and fresh food, and skip town. "They just didn't know who was in the room.? " The staff packed the liquids from the fridge in my suitcase and the liquids soaked my clothes, and toiletries. I had worked a 12 hour shift to come back to find my stuff in the office and my electronics locked up(thank you). They did find me a room for the night and i checked out in am as planned. i had to return after work for locked up electronics. I was able to find some dinner in the food they packed up from the refrigerator and left at room temp. I received apologies from the desk staff, I received no call, no text ,no email with an apology or any type effort for service recovery. DO BETTER.

Got there and he gave us a key that already had people staying in that room. There were people sittng outside,at midnight, at a picnic table drinking beer and making noises towards me. There were aso people walking around the hallway, breeze way, around the rooms drinking outside. That was not safe for anyone. WILLNOT GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN

My room was confirmed by hotels.com for 5 people in 1 room. when we got there they acted like they didn't have anything. And when they did give us a room it only slept 4. I went back down and asked for a roll away and they said they didn't have on. I asked them how are we to sleep 5 people to a 4 person room and I was told it was my problem. That's what I booked. It was a non-smoking room and smelt like people have been smoking in it and it was a non smoking room, and the sink dirt in it and room was filthy. I took my key back to the front desk and told him we weren't staying here and I wanted a refund and I got attitude from the front desk. I called hotels.com and complained and told him I wanted a refund and they said I was at the mercy of the hotel even though they confirmed it for five people and it only slept four. This place needs to be shut down renters beware.

Hell hold
There was nothing pleasant about this place. I was given a room that smelled like someone had just come out from smoking.
Tried to call front desk no one answered. Had to physically go to front test and ask for another room.
This room the light didn't come on went you got to the room had to turn light on in bathroom to get light. Told front desk she said at least the different room didn't smell like smoke.
I will never stay at this place again.

The property was dirty and the room was just average. The "Breakfast" in the morning was lacking and they didn't even have coffee cups. If you just need a place to stay for the night, it's okay, more than one night, find somewhere else.

Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean for the most part, did have a musty smell. Only had 2 towels, no washcloths or hand towels. Limited toilet tissue. We had to use our tissue. Didn't realize the linens were not in the bath until the next morning. To late by then. We had to leave early the next morning for an appointment. 2 stars, at least I got some sleep, my daughter didn't get any.

Dont wast your money!
The motel was undergoing renovations and painting the sidewalks. There were wet paint signs poated but the only entrance to the hotel check in was wet.painted to. The were painting the outisde cement. Finally found.my way im through the mosy disgusting area called the pantry to get to the check in desk. Th asssociate ignored me and got on the phone with either a family member or friend and had a 20 minute comcersation with them. When she finally got.off the phone i told her i needed 2 rooms on the first floor as both my sister and i are disabled and cannot.do stairs. I was told they would have to see if they had any available as half of them were not because of the painting of the side walk the other half hadnt been cleaned yet (it was after 6pm). She spent another 20 minutes trying to see if she could find something for me and eventually turned me away. I asked her to refund my money to hotels
Com. I still havent seen the refund.
I am a wyndham rewarss member and have stayed in othe BAYMONT proports and never had these issues. I ended uo having to pay 3 times as much to stay someone else that had 1st floor units.

Well i was in room 126. Within an hour or so i began to inching and found a bed bug in the bed...they changed my room. I went into the next room where there wasnt any towels or wash clothes...towels were left on the floor from where the house keeper clean...this night wasnt a good night

Hotel bad review
I would not stay at this hotel again. Very run down. One towel in the room. No wash clothes or hand towels. Bathroom door coming apart, ceiling part of it scraped off and looked like might have a little mold on it.

Hotel is a convenient area from highway. Check in was easy and frint desk is pleasant and helpful. Room looked clean when you go in but then the roaches come out and not just a couple of them.

They let people strung out on drug hang out around and on the Property they had us park in a certain area because we had a trailer with us with everything we had to our name on it. Because we are from Florida and had to go collect what we had lefted . So they told us to park at the back neae the fence that it was the most videoed area so we did and at 5 am the next morning crack head came thru the fence and took all of our stuff all but a few bags the same woman lied to the cops said they could not see anything and then my husband caught them fixing the fence right beside our truck amd they wasn't even going to tell us they seen the people take our stuff sounds like to me they had something to do with it do not use Baymont in Florence sc do not

There is nothing good about this place we parked right where the ladys at the desk told us to park because we had a trailer with all of our belong's on it every thing we owed and we was robbed they came thru the fence and took every thing off our trailer and Baymont did not offer any help to give us a free night say or refund or anything we even had to call the police because they would not do it they did nothing to give us justice

We booked a suite for the race weekend. The doorknobs were falling off, the door back was peeling off the frame, the dresser was missing knobs on every drawer, there was mold on the shelf where the refrigerator sat, the toilet was backed up and was unusable, and the room smelled terrible. TVs were tiny and remote didn't work. Absolutely terrible :(

Don't stay here if you value your health/safety
The hotel is in a very sketchy part of town. My room was supposed to be nonsmoking, but I ended up having to Febreze it bc it stunk. The drain in the tub wouldn't close, so I couldn't take a bath. There was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling, and the hairdryer did not work. The morning I checked out, there was a guy that was either drunk or a "regular" that was in the dining room dancing around and telling stories. There was also a couple cursing and yelling at each other from their room and hallway.

Worse stay ever!!
This was the worst experience I have ever had staying at any hotel ever. First thing I had to ask for a different room because there was bedbugs in the bed when I pulled the covers back. The after getting a different room on the other side of the property we woke up go to the bathroom and there’s another bedbug crawling up the wall behind the toilet. This hotel needs to do something because it seems the whole place is infested.

I got walked in on by male employee with my door being locked and seen naked !!! They put me in a room that had a major leak looked like the titanic in the floor not to mention mold and mildew on walls !!! Covered thick

The Check in process was quick, easy, and the employee was very polite. The room wasn’t the greatest. The tub looked so gross that I wouldn’t let me kids use it, the Carpet has stains all over, the shelf in the bathroom was broken and was just the frame still attached to the wall but no shelf, the bathroom door was falling apart, the walls were filthy with handprints. Thankfully we’re only here one night so we just sucked it up. You definitely get what you pay for.

Roach infested hotel
Didn't stay longer than 30 minutes, the hotel room was roach infested (see pictures) saw about 8 different roaches in 30 minutes, imagine if I went to sleep. Told the desk manager and he wouldn't even care or look at the pictures, told me to "contact expedia or whatever", smh worst hotel experience I have ever had in life, very unclean.
