Old, out dated, poorly maintained and laid out, hotel staff was quickly overwhelmed with only me checking in. Shocked to learn this is a new build - the condition and care of property and maintenance was terrible. Will not return.

Girl at check in decided to discuss my credit card “ not having enough money on it “ because she couldn’t get the computer to accept the charges! Don’t know where she was trained to deal with people but she obviously FAILED ! Sad that she represents your establishment!!

Hotel breakfast was not great either morning. The oatmeal and eggs were cold the 1st morning. The 2nd morning, the oatmeal fixin's were missing and the oatmeal was watery. While I watched, the kitchen representative opened the box of raw Quaker Oats and added them to the pot. 2 of the 4 breakfast juices were out of order.

The beds are amazingly comfortable. The rooms are huge with full kitchens. Everything is clean and comfortable. The only downside is the enormous jump in price for a weekend night ($200 ) which is a big turnoff.

A nice place to stay on Charlottesville. All staff members we encountered were helpful and very friendly. Room was clean and adequately stocked Breakfast was as expected in most chain style hotels. Would suggest you provided regular half and half (not just flavored Coffemate) for your coffee and tea drinking guests. We did feel that the price per night was a bit high for the accommodation and location.

Nice room BUT!
The room was spacious. The only issue with the room was there was urine on the toilet by the hinges. The continental breakfast was not well stocked. There was no juices and had to wait on coffee. They ran out of eggs and said there would be more shortly (20min wait no eggs.) The breakfast was very disappointing. I had high hopes when we first entered the our room but after finding the urine on the toilet and then the lack of breakfast items, I'm not sure I will stay here again.

Very dirty room. Bed sheets were not changed from the previous guest as they were visible stained, pillowcases were hairy and greasy. I asked to have them changed and they did change them. The toilet sit was dirty. Hot breakfast was not served the 2nd day of my stay. I was told the cook didn’t show up. I have stayed at several hotels traveling for work and vacation and this was among my least favorite spot. The construction around the area made navigation difficult as my GPS kept taking me to the road to the hotel that is currently closed but I understand the hotel has little control over it.

When I arrived at the hotel just after 12:30 AM following a delayed flight. The doors were locked, the outside emergency phone was dead, and there was nobody at the desk. The ice machine in the breakfast area was not operational. The facility was lovely, the bed was comfortable and there was more than adequate space. I would definitely stay here for an extended period of time when the price point would be better!

Overall was nice, however, check out was at noon and I got a knock on the door by 9 am and then asked me when I was leaving. I felt like it was a little rude. I know housekeeping has to do their job but I clearly had a “do not disturb” sign on the door. I could tell the hotel doesn't clean very well because I had pet hair all over my stuff. You could see the residue on what they quickly cleaned. The good part is wherever I go, I clean and sanitize myself. I'm a little OCD so I notice everything. Other than that I don't have any major complaints about the hotel. Front desk staff was nice. Was very convenient to stores. Quiet and peaceful.

They had no house keeping Monday through Friday. Their breakfast was average not as good as the holiday inn express close by. The desk had only one person and they as backed up a lot most of the time

Overnight Stay before Shenandoah National Park
The hotel was in great condition, the staff was friendly and efficient, the shower was very good and the bed was great. The only reason for my relatively low rating is the construction in the neighborhood behind the hotel which was right outside our window, loud, and started about 7 AM.

We very much enjoyed the size of the room...2 queen beds ,a sofa and kitchenet and very clean... Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast spread was more than excellent with everything that one could ask for. We spent a week of golfing in the area and were always happy to come to our room and then enjoy ourselves in the pool. We would definitely stay here again

We have stayed here before, when coming to visit a family member in a nursing home. Came back a second time and recommended to other family. Clean, easy and friendly checkin, rooms are very comfortable, easy parking onsite, and great breakfast included! If eating dinner in town, there are a few good choices within short driving distance.

The lobby clerk (Kathy) was amazing! So friendly & thoughtful but not over the top. Very helpful & kind.
Overall impression was very good. Impressed with amenities, lobby & sitting/dining area clean & attractive. The rooms are spacious. My only criticism is the fabric covered chairs & couches that were dirty. We opted not to sit on them.

The check-in was limited due to staffing shortage. But, once we were in, the place was wonderful. Very clean, no yucky smells, and the staff was very kind. I wish the area was more friendly and had more events. I would enjoy coming back to stay at the hotel and visit the area.

Both happy and disappointed
We stayed on a Thursday night (2/16) on or way to pick up our son at UVA and then on to ski at snowshoe. We then stayed again on Sunday night on our way back out of town after dropping our son back off at UVA. To say our experiences on each night were completely different is a gross understatement. The Thursday night experience was horrible. The guy working was either clueless or high. The entire lobby and main floor smelled like pot. We were not excited about having to stay again on Sunday night. However, happy we did because the woman working was a complete gem! She made sure we got picked up at airport after dropping off our rental and then found a day to make sure we got back to airport the next morning at 5 am. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! The rooms and property are nice with lots of parking and only 4 mins to airport.

Overall, the best place we've ever stayed. The room was well equipped, comfortable beds, great breakfast, and the library and den were cozy with a fireplace! Nice front desk staff and Nathaniel did an incredible job with breakfast even with a crowd. And we got total our dog! We will definitely go back.

Overall the stay was good. We had a room with a pull out sofa. No linens was provided for the pull out. The beverage vendors weren’t working or was out of beverage within an hour of breakfast buffet being served for two mornings.

Actually the property was clean. Bathroom area was not quite as clean as it should be.. Also there was no body wash or shampoo available. The shower was warm at best.Temperature needs to be increased 15 to 20ﾟ at minimum. Ashley had booked a king size bed and ended up with 2 queens.As a retired firefighter and safety officer, comma I was concerned with the construction of the building and the distance between stairs and elevators. The breakfast was good however very limited. Do not value for cost of the room what we received.

This hotel is really nice. It’s downfall, we stayed 12 days and not once did they ever clean our room. We asked the front desk and they said we missed our “day” of cleaning. This is also a pet hotel. I don’t mind pets, but our two year old girl actually got fleas from the hotel! Had to take her to urgent care. It is a nice hotel, but the staff mostly just hangs out in vacant rooms instead of doing their jobs. I know this, because they would do it in the room across from mine. Everyday almost 4 staff members just hung out in there for hours. Leaving there cleaning carts outside the door.
