Friendly and helpful staff. Room and appliances were in good condition. Hallways and outside areas were clean with on-site security overnight. Location was convenient to the Keys and other attractions. We would stay again though I might bring a couple of extra towels of my own to supplement the two we got. Highly recommend.

We fish off Key Largo and need a way to freeze the fish for the flight back home to OK and there are no kitchenettes in Key Largo and if there were they would be very expensive. The cost for this place just a 1/2 hour drive away is great.

Nascar weekend from Canada
The room was great . Wifi was awesome. It was close to restaurants and grocery and the race track why we were in town. Only down side was no on site common area breakfast or coffee. But over all was great price and safe .

We needed a place with a fridge/freezer near Key Largo because of a fishing trip and this was the most reasonable and nearest to our needs. We were happily successful and froze about 30 lbs of MahiMahi to take home. Thanks!

A place to stay for just what you need
The front desk guy was very helpful and organized. The room was basic but just what you need. We stayed on the third floor and it was quiet.

Good for short family trips
The room and hotel were clean but could use some work.
My room was supposed to be none smoking but it smelled like smoke and the toilet had a burn mark. It was close to shopping and dining. Overall okay...I would stay again. FYI ...If you are picky about Beds and pillows, they ate not that comfortable. Okay for one or two nights. Pretty good kitchen. Stove, fridge and microwave maid up for the bed and pillows. š

You get what you pay for. It was the cheapest hotel in the area and I see why. Paid for 3 nights and only stayed one night and checked out.. It seems a lot of the āguestā are long term residents of the facility. And because of that it looks a little more on the āghettoā sideā¦ The bathtub had soap scum from previous āguestā. The toilet paper roll had less than half a roll. Iāve never stayed in a hotel/Inn that did not provide a new roll. Who knows what fecal matter was on it from previous persons. The flooring in the bathroom was also very soggy and swelled/lifted from the floor. Felt gross.. Will not be staying here again.. Staff was friendly, but conditions and atmosphere in general was very uncomfortable. Waste of money.

Deceiving! The room looks nothing like the pictures online. Hotel looks good from the outside but once you walk in you will feel like you are in a nursing home. The beds supper cheap materials the covers look like they are from the 1950s you can hear EVERYTHING thatās going on in the hallway from your room. I heard a dog barking al night! This is not a family hotel very bad aspect. I didnāt even stayed for two nights I was out of there the morning after the first night when I went to check out the guy at the front office just wanted my room key thatās all no receipt. Do not recommend staying here pay a little more and go somewhere else itās with it

I booked a double room at the hotel, when I got there around 930pm they gave me a single bed, I showed the front desk a detailed email that I paid for a double bed but they were closing at 10pm and there not 24/7 so they said I had to wait till the morning, I have a family of 3 and they gave us a full size bed, me and the wife could have fit but definitely not my toddler.
The front desk spoke to his manager and I called Expedia the manager couldnāt do much it was to late, he said I had to wait for him to be in the morning to review.
Bottom line they didnāt honor the deal I paid for it said double bed in my email and they gave a room with a single bed

Efficient and clean
Clean, quite, safe, and you have everything you need. Not really meant for a couple but good for a solo stay or two friends depending on the room type. 40ish minutes out from Miami.

Clean and basic!
Clean! No weird smells! Wifi was fast and good tv channels. The walls werenāt super thin. There was hot water and toilet flushed fine. They provided two soap discs in the bathroom and clean towels. The fridge microwave and stove tops worked and were clean. the front desk person was very nice. The bed was clean but super squeaky and a little uncomfortable but manageable I guess and the pillows were flat. The curtains also didnāt close all the way there was a small gap in the middle and sunlight crept in but I had a sleeping mask. The room was very bare and plain but thatās ok Iād rather have a clean room. good location for homestead. stayed for 6 days with no problems.

My husband and I chose this location as we wanted to see the Keys and this was affordable and within travel distance to them. It was only two hours to Key West. The building was dated but this makes for a true advantage as the walls were solid cement and the doors were solid wood which made it very quiet at night. It is right in the heart of all kinds of stores and there are short cuts to avoid busy times. Glad we chose this location. Thanks to George, the evening clerk. He's great and helpful.

I booked the room on Expedia. The hotel was closed and when we got there we weren't able to get the room I paid for! Went the next day to see about using the second night and they had zero record of my booking, was told I'd have to pay for another night. I said and showed I already paid but Expedia didn't send my information through. Called to request a refund and still haven't heard back. I'll never use Expedia ever again!

Friendly staff, quiet atmosphere. Rarely saw anyone else. The hotel looks newly remodeled once past the front desk. The only issue I had was the hotel phone number was disconnected. The manager said they had a problem with the phone line. That was a little weird but it didnāt affect my stay and I would stay there again. It is a clean budget friendly place.

It is a basic hotel room with kitchenette. Bring your own paper goods, because there is not one fork or plate. It is a basic hotel with no lobby (a small breezeway with one staff person checking in and out) and with no hotel amenities...which was fine with us. There was no safe, if that is a concern. We would stay again, because we spend very little time in the room.

first of Expedia charged 4 times the normal rate place was scary, changed arrival day but hotel didn't stayed one night my back couldn't handle it manager said too bad talk to Expedia.

The worst nightmare
We had the worst experience ever at hotel Value Place/Best Value Inn in Homestead who didn't have a reservation for us (we booked that hotel in November 2016) nor a room available at 2:00am
So Expedia found us another hotel and 2 hours later we were able to rest after 5 hours flight, 34 miles drive to Value Place and then back in Miami.

Good quite place. Close to a great food store as well as fast food. Just off the highway and about two hours from Key West.
