Comfortable stay with decent breakfast
We stayed here for a few days and enjoyed it. The breakfast was decent and had variety, which was nice especially when traveling with family. The concierge Andy or Andrew was super helpful and has accommodated our requests for extra water bottles. Will definitely stay here again next time!

We never checked in, reservation was on the wrong day but Expedia said they could not help us change the date even though the we called the hotel before hand and they said there's plenty availability for the day we needed. We wanted to check in on the 6th but the reservation was for the 5th. Will never use or recommend Expedia again!

Front desk and front atmosphere is nice. Breakfast was good. But as per my expectations carpet wasn’t good. Definitely needs new or carpet wash. Beds were comfortable. We got the room shifted from wat was given due to smell in room. The next room was clean enough and was able to stay another 2 days.

Dislikes: Room had huge red stains on carpet. No laundry facilities as stated in amenities section. When we asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket, we were told there weren’t any left. Only one microwave downstairs for everyone to share. Staff was hit or miss, some front desk staff were very nice and some were not friendly at all. We were there for 3 nights and housekeeping didn’t come at all during that time.

We arrived at the hotel around 2pm and checked in. We were informed that early check-in was not possible, which we understood. We left our luggage at the hotel and went to the job site. However, when we returned to the hotel, we were told that there were no rooms available, even though we had a reservation and had already paid for it. This was very frustrating for us. After waiting for a while, the hotel staff sorted out the situation and we were finally given our rooms.

Good place to stay for travel tournaments. Did not expect a handicapped room. It wad spacious but was not used to room layout and sink light did not work. Breakfast was pretty bland bit you get what you pay for i guess

Tried to checkin to my resevation at 5:30pm. Rooms not ready. Said they would text me when ready. Never texted me. Returned at 7:30pm room stil just finishing. Room was half completed. blind would not close. sofa bed was open and cushions thrown on floor. Everyone gave me the excuse that "didn't have help" Not my problem. I paid for a room. I fly over 100 flights per year and stay in hotel rooms 160 days a year. I liked Hyatt Place but this was my worst experience at a hotel in along time. Will give Hyatt another chance but if I have another problem I will focus on Marriott

Arrived at 5:30 pm and was advised that room wasnt ready yet, check in was supposed to be at 3. Waited with four other people also wanting. Room initially had a strange odor but disipated after about an hour.

We went to Gilbert AZ for are granddaughter wedding. And everyone was very nice and the rooms were clean. I like the Hyatt hotels. Never had any problems with them. They go out of they way to help you. I would go back again.

I had a room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. The room was so small you could not walk around the beds, and the bathroom was so small that you could not close the door without standing in the bathtub. The drain in the bathtub stunk so bad we had to leave the door closed and the fan on the entire stay. The breakfast room was way too small, and there were very few food options. We asked for a blanket from the front desk at about 8:30pm, and the employee said he could not get us one because he was the only employee and could not leave the desk.

1) there were extra fees to total $200.00 tacked on to our check in. These were not expected, and I was never told in advance you would add those. Very displeased by that.
2) Not one (1) time during our 4 night stay, was our room ever cleaned. No trash taken out, no fresh towels, no fresh sheets.
So I could NOT recommend this property to anyone.

We arrived just 1-hour before regular check-in time. We asked if we could get an early check-in since we were all in church dress and needed to change clothes for our kids cross country meet. The staff refused and pointed us to some bathrooms that our family could change in instead. This was awkward since we had three girls in dresses and two boys in shirt and tie. After we changed into running clothes and left the two staff ladies just jeered at us. I am a Hyatt member. There was even a sign in the elevator saying that members get extra perks like early check-in. That will be my last time ever at a Hyatt hotel. Plus the kids above us were running around all night and it was super noisy.

TV didn't work. 😥
I've stayed at this hotel many times and the staff is great and the rooms are very nice. This trip was no different, however my TV wouldn't work. I told the front desk and she placed a work order with maintenance. A couple of hours later I asked about it and she said that they had all gone home for the day, but it would be fixed the next morning. They we're booked, so another room wasn't available. I came back from a work meeting the following evening and it still wasn't working. I showed a video to the front desk and after apologizing (again) they gave me a new room. The new room was perfect. I booked 7 separate rooms for this trip. All of the others were fine.

This is a new property with a modern vibe. Breakfast was a good variety, tasted fresh. Different options each day. Only suggestion would be a yogurt choice, and complimentary coffee would be nice early AM. "Happy Hour" was misleading with a beverage priced at $8 and then a tip is automatically added to your charge. Loved the variety of lounging areas, perfect for an individual, families, groups and couples.
Work out machines are adequate but the room needs a bench, matts, exercise ball or weight balls. Staff was attentive and professional, friendly and courteous. Our room by an outside door had ants if food was left out, staff addressed it immediately. Not walkable to restaurants but convenient to the highway. Stayed four nights. Would recommend and, stay again.

Good and bad. The hotel is very conveniently located. The room was comfortable and big. The employees were very nice. We liked that breakfast was free, however it was not very good. I guess you get what you pay for. The pool was green and not usable. This made me very sad since I was planning on spending my days by the pool. We asked for coffee, tea and clean towels to be delivered to our room on the second day. That never happened. So I had to hunt down housekeeping to get the items before we went to bed. Thank God we got enough for the 3rd day too, because it was not delivered then either.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Place Gilbert several times and we are always happy with the rooms, especially this last visit. The staff is always on top of things and very helpful in general. Great breakfast options this time we visited too.

Only one complaint was the fouled sewer gas spewing out from the toilet bowl. Nothing has been fixed or corrected. So I had to tolerate the foul order in the bathroom. But all staffs and their services were very professional and courtesy.

Nice and “newer” overall feel. It is immediately adjacent to a very busy expressway that runs 24/7 with loud traffic easily heard inside room. Room did not have constant fan setting on unit to drown out noise. VERY LOUD room and I’m very tolerant of noises.
Fitness room smaller than most hotels with few amenities. Property area not really walkable to food or interest. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Tiny pool. Very modern and comfortable rooms. Found hairs in my shower walls from previous tenants.

We weren’t informed at check in that we needed to schedule housekeeping so we were disappointed about not having our room serviced. The front desk person admitted housekeeping is a bit “hit and miss.”

A smile goes a long way specially from the staff, the only employee that greeted us was a lady that worked kitchen. My room had a used tea bag in the coffee maker, what else wasn’t checked/clean before checked in ?
The hair dryer was inside a drawer with hair in it, the bath tub was clea, the towels had stains.
Breakfast was very good, the hotel it self was nice looking too.

We had MASSIVE issues when we checked in. They charged/pre-auth'd my credit card for ($372) and then it wouldn't accept or check us in. Then we used another card ($372) and had the same issue (total of $774). They finally changed us to a cash customer and got us checked in. The next morning, the second card we used was charged another $186 (now a total of $960) in a pre-auth. We had to cancel the rest of our trip due to the multiple pre-auths that were done because we weren't going to be able to pay for other hotels waiting for those pre-auths to come off. Their staff definitely needs additional training on the correct ways to work their computer system, especially when it's late at night and difficult to get hold of management to correct an issue. The hotel itself was great. Nice rooms, great breakfast, good amenities and great area of town.

Arrived to a non made up room. Was told I could leave my stuff in there and they would make up room while I was out. They did...but the housekeeper took all my belongs and locked it up so when I returned to my room at 9:00 PM, nothing was in there. Took until midnight to get my stuff back and I could go to bed. Bad experience.

The note says that the linens are changed every 3 days. I saw this AFTER I had slept on the bed. I might have slept in sheets that god knows who slept in. The bathroom smelled like pee and one roll of paper somewhat used. There was a contact on the floor…meaning that the bathroom was not well cleaned. We stayed there two nights. We requested room cleaning service. When they did the cleaning, they didn’t leave toilet paper. We went to a wedding came back late that night and saw that we had a tiny bit of toilet paper left still. We called, requesting toilet paper and ended up going to reception ourselves because no one ever brought the roll if paper. Don’t think I’ll be staying at Hyatt anymore, at least not this one.

We always like staying there. But this time their system was down. No keys for the room and no internet. The whole day and night until even next day. For a large hotel like this, the turn around fix time should be a lot quicker.

I had an issue-not with hotel or staff-with a guest where I felt uncomfortable and hotel staff helped me tremendously. They heard me out and also escorted me to my car and back to my room. They were extremely courteous and cared about my well-being, safety. My room was very nice. My experience was very nice. The breakfast also was very good- one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. I am impressed with the service, with the quality etc and would always recommend Hyatt Place hotels over and over and over again. Thank you so much for listening to me, assisting me and providing a safe space for hospitality.

Was originally given a room on the 5th floor that was extremely hot and would not cool down. Was then given a room on the first floor but it was a handicapped room and was not told this when being switched. The room, while larger, the shower was terrible only a handheld shower head available and is handicapped accessible so the water goes everywhere and makes a huge mess when showering. The room shade was automatic and kept going off every hour and bunching up at the bottom. Lastly they host a church on Sundays so be aware… the entire first floor hallway to get to your room is crowded, they use the last room to house the churches kids program… so kids running up and down the hall. Not a good experience at all.

Wondering if the sheets were washed previous to us checking in. Found hair and other bits. Especially on pull out bed sheets. Had to ask for clean ones. Also had to ask for blankets for pullout bed.
