It was ok for the price. Room was reasonably clean but kind of beat up. Had a mini fridge and microwave and bed was comfortable enough.
Billboards for adult entertainment next to it as well as a gas station that felt a little sketchy going into at night made me wonder about the area.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT
No microwave or refrigerator. That was a BIG disappointment. Did not come in and get the used towels and put in new towels. The continental breakfast was BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Won’t be making reservations/ or going back to any Baymont hotels.

Worth the price
The overall experience was good. We only stayed there for the night so the attention to detail wasnt super important. However, a few things i felt were unprofessional; there was an empty bottle in the trash when we arrived in our room, there was a plastic bag taped over the smoke alarm for some reason, and lastly, the water for the shower did not work in the room. We didnt notice the water until the morning so we didnt have time to ask them to fix it

Never again
This was a horrible experience… I have a problem when you overcharge my account without explanation (no receipt printed or emailed), the hotel was a mess! The sheets and the room was not cleaned properly, trash behind the nightstand, easy access into the building and it put me in the mind of a transient hotel. I have learned my lesson you get what you pay for. If I can say something nice, I had a fresh banana.

I didn’t like the fact that me and my mom had to walk on the halls to get to the elevator and hear noises thinking we was in a Guatemala wh*** house. Not the sounds you want to hear with your mom. Other than that! It was clean in the rooms. Smelled good, only thing they need to fix up is get rid of that carpet in the halls and repaint, the carpets is what’s making the halls smell musty.

Room facilities are not bad. Worth for low rent. Property is very old and not clean as advertised. Very limited breakfast. Breakfast utensils are not clean. Looked like old stock. Should be clean at least. I would prefer different hotel for the same cost.

Outside smells like cannabis and 2nd till 3rd floor. Not safe for kids. Toilet is not flushing properly. The bed sheet is kindah itchy. And the toilet washroom is not closing.

I put on new socks when we got to our room. They were dirty when we got ready to leave the next morning. So the carpet was filthy! Also it was very overpriced! Desk clerk was unprofessionally dressed in worn out T-shirt and tight leggings. Also no ice. Advertised “hot breakfast” was pitifully !!

The hotel is very poorly ran. Only one person working the desk made check in almost 45 minutes long. The outside of the building and inside is not as pictured. No central air in the building so the building was 80 ish most days. Then, to put the cherry on top we came back to our room one day to find it unlocked and opened. Housekeeping came back in 20-30 minutes to say they had fresh towels and couldn’t explain why they left the door open (no English) when they didn’t even clean the room, only replace towels and pick up trash. Very frustrating stay and it seemed every little thing kept adding up… spend the extra $20-30 and stay somewhere else

They lied about having a shuttle service, the keys kept deactivating , staff treated guests poorly and blame any issues on them, they don’t change towels and sheets but every 3 days to “save water”

Very disappointed
It was my worst experience ever. Room wasn’t even ready and cleaned up. There was a hair in a bath tub wall. Took a picture and showed a lady on reception.
No one didn’t change a towels and didn’t empty out a trash cans. We were out of a toilet paper.
A coffee machine gets broken for a last two days.
Very unsanitary and unsatisfying.

Terrible place. The staff was friendly but the hotel is old, dirty, and pictures are definitely deceiving. The bathroom had a moldy corner. The lock chain was broken. Very unsafe.

Check in was smooth there was no issues with our room, hotel isn’t really up to date we had issues with opening the bathroom door after it closed, and the guy at the front desk took $30 from my deposit because there was a small bbq sauce stain on the sheet and has me questioning if they even change the sheets after guest or if they just remake the beds because the sheets “look clean” because if how he mad a small drop of bbq sauce such a big issue

Stressed at check in a smoke free property but the entire building and room smell of smoke. There was a BBQ grill sitting right outside my room window. And throughout the day people would sit on the curb right by the window and grill to smoke cigarettes. After checking out they tried to charge my card again. Don't stay at this property. If you are from out of town they try to get over on you after checking out and double charge your card

Staff were great and given the fact that the property is under renovation it was very clean. My only issue was paying the check in deposit twice. I switched to a room with a refrigerator and microwave which required me to pay a second deposit. I believe their system needs to be updated to prevent this in the future. Hopefully it will not take 5 business days to get my refund.

I was told there would be breakfast from 6-9:30am. There was nothing out when I got downstairs. I was charged a $100 fee which was not disclosed on the booking at all. The parking lot and driveway are back away from the road and are all ripped up making it dangerous for smaller cars to drive without damage. There are no sidewalks or safe places to walk to get food or stuff near by.

Too cold for comfort.
The rooms were very cold. My room got changed, but the other room was cold too. It took all night for the room to get warm, I couldn't take it anymore, so I left at 5:00am.

When we checked in the hostess made me give her a 100 dollar cash deposit after I had already paid for the room.I’ll
Never go back there.Then she made me wait 20 minutes to check the room before giving me my money back.I left a 10 dollar tip for the cleaning person .We didn’t fo anything to the room.Extremely insulted.makes you wonder what kind of people frequent the establishment

This is definitely a no frills hotel, there was also no heat. The first room we got heater did not work. The second room''s heater barely warmed we may have reached 50 degrees, they had no real blankets just a thick sheet.l we're and one of the coldest nights

When I got there, I was told there. was a $100 deposit. I feel that should be stated on the website, so you can be prepared for the extra cost. The room had no microwave or refrigerator. The Manager was rude when trying to discuss the deposit. I traveled from Georgia to Illinois for my son to go to an open house for a college. This was the worst experience I ever had.

Terrible, the front desk clerk was not friendly at all.
I called ahead of my arrival to make sure the room had a refrigerator and if there was a breakfast included. I was told yes there is a refrigerator, and there was coffee and muffins available in the morning, there was only coffee.
I also had a problem with getting ice, the girl at the front desk said they had no ice. I said then why do I have an ice bucket in my room, she then made a phone call and when she got off the phone, she directed me to the ice machine. Terrible experience not worth the money they charge for the room. Don't waste your money stay at the Holiday Inn you get more bang for your buck and the employees are very accommodating.

Limited parking. Toilet not flushing well, had to adjust the fill valve. Hot & cold reversed in the shower. Was told there was some breakfast till 9:30. Never saw any. When I checked out, she told me that you had to come to the desk to get it.

Smell of mold in the room coming from bathroom. No cable so they rely on a “digital signal” the signal is so poor that when watching TV the screen repeatedly freezes up every 30 seconds or so.

The standard room doesn’t come with a refrigerator or microwave, and check in isn’t until 3 PM. The guy at the front desk let me check in at 2:30 because I had just gotten there from the airport. I think a 3 PM check in time is crazy late. The lady at the desk on night shift was super nice though. And the bed and pillows were very nice. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. You get what you pay for.

Service was awful. I had to pay an extra $100 deposit just to enter the building. This was not mentioned on the website. They offered free breakfast but there was only coffee and juice. There was also mold and water damage on the roof of my room.

I nor my daughter liked anything about this property. There are no refridgerators, coffee pots, or microwaves in the rooms. The only elevator in the three story structure was barely large enough for us to get in and neither of us are large people. To get breakfast in the morning you have to ask the desk clerk for a bag breakfast. You are charged a hundred dollar deposit to check in. people were having to double park, because there aren't enough parking spaces. On a scale of 1 to 10, we'd give this property a -5.

This property is poorly taken care of.. broken doors, windows etc There was no breakfast as advertised. Had to get new keys twice as did not work. Parking is horrendous!! The only positive was that the room itself was not too bad and very sound proof. Did not hear people or nearby traffic. Probably would not stay there again.

Three night stay
Cleanliness inside was fine. Outside, not good. No smoking policy inside is great. However since people smoke there are cigarette butts ALL over the place along with debris. Bottles, cups, paper. Parking was very hard even with a handicap permit. Cleaning staff were very nice. Toilet seat was loose. Tried to fix but could not. Toilet sometimes would not shut off. Shower water pressure was very low. TV picture quality was not very good. No paper list of channels. No Cubs/Sox station, no golf. Very disappointing. The elevator did not work on Friday evening. The door would not close. Had to walk three flights which was hard for my wife who is handicapped. When leaving I asked for a receipt but was told that they don't give one since the room was rented through third party. My daughter made the reservation for us. Will not be back.

One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We booked four nights, but could only stay in this disgusting place one night. We complained about the place as asked to be released from the cost of the other three nights. The management agreed to credit us for two of those nights because of their 24-hour cancellation policy.
This hotel checked every box for things that are wrong with except one... they did not make the entryway or lobby into a storage room for pillows, blankets, and supplies. (so they do have that going for them)

The restroom needed alot of help. The wall needed to be repaired or the project finished. The toilet rocked and set so far to the ground hard to get back up. No hand rails. The beds were good. The air didnt work so well was warm in the room every night
