We stayed here for a concert at Gillette Stadium. The hotel was clean and modern. Check in was easy. We really liked the full kitchen in the room.

From check in to departure it was easy. Clean property. My only complaint is the sofa bed was so squeaky it woke me up every time I rolled over. Pool was decent, breakfast was plentiful and had a great selection.

As I was stepping on the plane to begin the trip (2 days before my reservation), Expedia sent an email that the hotel was not going to honor the reservation, despite having already paid for everything in full two months ahead of time. Their proposed solution was for me to stay in another hotel 10 miles away, which was not possible for my plans. Finding a last-minute hotel with any availability in the same area and at the last minute cost me an extra $200. In their world, it is apparently money, not the customer that comes first.

The staff members were all great….extremely polite, friendly, professional; the accommodations were clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. My stay was so enjoyable that I intend on returning there when I travel to the area again.

My bed and room has bugs with pinchers in it, hair on the floor, hair on the mirror, hair on the vanity, bottle caps on the side of the bed, change on the carpet, towels rolled up along the window, and dust bunnies in corners. Dirtiest place I have ever had to stay in. Manager on duty not authorized to refund me or cover a room at a nearby hotel. Worst hotel I have stayed in around Massachusetts. Avoid this dirty hotel.

This property met our expectations, starting from staffs, cleanness, great breakfast with a lot healthy options(some vegan and gluten-free), peaceful, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Awesome experience and great for family.

The bathroom was not cleaned properly there was hair all over the floor, the shower curtain was stained and there was a slight mildew smell. The freezer/fridge did not work.This was very disappointing for the price we paid to stay for 1 night.

One of two rooms had been sold out from under us. Forcing half our party to another venue for one night. Fortunately the hotel covered the cost. But moving twice a major pain. Door to room was sticking. No maid service on weekend. Packaged breakfast items left a lot to be desired. Staff was generally helpful and accommodating, but forget abut using the PCs to print.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Late arrival (10pm), and we were given a room at the farthest end of one wing. Upon opening the door, we were hit with a nasty smell of smoke. Immediately dragged our luggage back to the front, asking for a cleaner non smoking room. We now given a room at the farthest end of the other wing. It appeared to be fine, however, upon flushing the toilet the next morning, it did not clear out the basin. Tried again and it nearly overflowed. The night clerk was very nice, but could do nothing at that hour to help us. We feared using the sink or shower as they were very slow to drain and the toilet was full. My husband begged for access to a clean shower and toilet to use, and the clerk only allowed him to use a dirty room where the occupant had already left...horrible! I was not willing to do this and went in-showered, unfortunately. After talking with the new clerk, and 2 more subsequent phone calls afterwards asking for some compensation for our troubles, we were offered a $20.00 discount. However two days later, the hotel first charged us an additional $20.00, then applied a $20.00 credit, essentially giving us nothing. My final call to the manager an hour ago to attempt to straighten this out was not returned as promised. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I've stayed here a few times and generally like it, despite it being slightly more expensive than other area options. My criticism rests with the fact that I was scheduled to check out on Thanksgiving day and it turned into a circus of sorts. The staff began to vacuum the hallways at around 8:00 am to wake everyone up. Then my door was knocked on every 30-45 minutes to see if I was checking out soon, despite the fact that I repeatedly told the previous person who knocked that I would be checking out at the published check-out time. Finally, I was called by the front desk asking about my check-out time even though I had well over an hour left before the published check-out time. I did not ask for a late check-out and did not need one, but the entire staff made me feel so unwelcomed, obviously wanting everyone out as early as possible so they could get home to their families and obviously cook, given that they wanted everyone out of their rooms by 9:00 - 10:00 am. I could hear the staff constantly knocking on other doors in an attempt to bum rush others out of their rooms, overnighters, so it could be cleaned during their absence. I could hear guests complain that it was too early for their room to be cleaned and there was no where to go (nothing open) until they were scheduled to arrive at a relative's house. It's Thanksgiving dinner, not Thanksgiving breakfast, for Pete's sake! It was all in very poor form and ultimately resulted in the hotel losing my future business.

The location was close to the event for our family and the staff was lovely. The location is in need of an update. There were leaks into the main first floor hallway and the facility worn. We asked twice for someone to get us linens for the pull out couch, however we ended up going to the front desk at nearly mid-night to get what we needed to make the bed ourselves. The front desk knew we were a party of 4.

Great location next to the Legacy Place with many shops and restaurants. The hotel room was nice and clean but the AC didn’t work in 90 degrees days and had to move to a different room.

Excellent service from the front desk at check in to check out. We stayed in the queen studio suite and it was very spacious. I personally loved the water pressure as well as an option to keep the fan on through the night while sleeping.

Not green using plastic cutlery & paper plates
Great breakfast buffet! However, the toilet, in our bathroom, needed to be plunged our first night and then the following morning, an engineer needed to be called to deal with the toilet. Kudos to the night manager, who was on it, plunged and mopped up the floor. But it wasn’t fun having to get up, get dressed, and go to the first floor to use the restroom. Also, why is there no way to reach the front desk other than actually going to the front desk?! Finally, please use real cutlery and plates. I’m all for reusing towels during a stay but don’t negate that by using disposable/single-use cutlery and plates.

Great.....except that dog!
While we applaud hotels that welcome pets, management failed to do anything about a dog that was in the room above us that was barking endlessly. We heard other guests on that floor beating on the door during the night to plead with guests to quiet their dog. Management was informed. But the dog would be quiet for a short time, and then start up again. Management needs to have a policy to remove problem animals that are interrupting the stay of other guests who are trying to sleep.

There were 3 people in my party. I emailed in advance to remind hotel that we need a bag with linens for the convertible sofa. I also inquired about it at check in, and was told that everything is ready, when in fact there was no bag with the linens for extra sleeping place on the sofa-bed.
The cleaning staff did not put extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, so when the one in the holder ran out, we needed to scavenge for replacement

Terrible trip, the front desk was rude and demeaning and charged me another night(which they later did refund me after a huge dispute), hotel room toilet was clogged, ac/heat unit was broken and was either freezing or hot during the whole stay, and room service walked into my room in the am while I was sleeping without notice or checking if I was in the room. I admit, not everyone's stay will be the same, but I will tell you what will be the same, their customer service. Customer service is non-existent and will not respond/and/or find any solution. We were a little late in starting our day and housekeeping never came to service our room. Main desk was quite apologetic but that's not what I expect from a Mariott. I've stayed at Residence Inns around Boston and in Boston and this one is probably the lowest one on list. It could use a serious lift.

The outside of the property looks great, like every Residence Inn! The staff was very friendly, talkative. No complaints at all when it comes to the checkin process. Our room was not as clean as most of the other Marriotts we've stayed at. The curtains near the pull out couch were stained. There was a big stain near the bed, on the carpet. Wish the room would have been cleaner!

A great family getaway!
This hotel was a great stop on our trip to visit family. It was clean, in a good location and the breakfasts were outstanding! Our family was so happy with our accommodations that we extended our stay! The staff throughout the hotel was so friendly too. We will definitely go back to this hotel and would recommend it to others!

Semi-outdated hotel, but nice enough and central!
Area was nice. Hotel was not bad. Certainly not the best Residence Inn I've stayed at in the past (could use some updating) but I am always happy with the Residence Inn properties everywhere. This one is directly across the street from a huge shopping metropolis so you'll find great restaurants and entertainment options in walking distance. Traffic was a bit insane, so be prepared for that. Plenty of parking though. A big shout out to the breakfast host, she was VERY helpful, welcoming, and friendly.

Hotel is close to down town Dedham, MA. Clean and comfortable with outstanding staff. The stafff members were always helpfut and they literally provided service with a smile. The room was comfortable with a farly large kitchen area with all the needed appliances. The fairly large refrigerator and microwave oven were clean and functioned flawlessly. Great for an extended stay.

Everything is good except the air con.
Location is excellent. With a big shopping mall nearby. Breakfast is good in comparable classes. Distance to Downtown is a little far. But you can't find one with this price and class in downtown. Air conditioning is noisy. Need to improve.

Everything was pretty standard but there were other guests being very loud, having a party with children screaming and fighting in the hallway. This was occurring 10 yards from the front desk until just past midnight and the staff did not step in and request them to keep it down. The room had a very slight odor and bathroom was subpar in cleanliness.

Unacceptable. Bathroom had a broken bar that the hand held shower head was supposed to attach to. The bathtub had rust and black mold. They had no forks at breakfast. Maid did not leave coffee or toilet paper. All this for over $200/night.

Absolutely found the front desk guy (blanking on his name) top notch!! helped us with Boston sights, he was a former Boston city hotel concierge. I want to give the service staff a high rating. we were there for a week and the location was perfect for an easy access to the cooking school for our 11 yr old grandchild and Boston for sightseeing.

Average, and seems to be in a decline mode
I'm wondering if the ownership has changed? I've stayed here before when moving because they take pets, so I was expecting the same service as before. Instead....
1. First sent me to a room that was not cleaned up from last occupant. This was an issue as I had just spent 7 hours on the road with my cat in her carrier and I needed to get her out ASAP.
2. Second room was fine but the door handle wasn't working very well and took several tries to get in. I called down to ask them to fix it which didn't happen.
3. Later, when coming in from quick errand run, I asked front desk in person to have it fixed. Told her I was in for night so they could come by whenever. Didn't happen.
4. Asked for extra towels on reservation. Happened the first night but not again.
When I checked out, I did mention this to day manager who did apologize and credited my Marriot account with some miles but still.
If I didn't have the cat with me, I'd probably stay elsewhere.

We just stayed one night just to go somewhere. The hotel was close by the Legacy Place shopping plaza which was super nice and within walking distance. The traffic was bad though but it was bearable. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We went to breakfast later and so it was not very good, the eggs were bleh and the potatoes were gross too but we survived with the waffle maker. Just simple but not great I'd make breakfast in the suite. We had the one bedroom suite and we loved it, looks newly renovated and was cozy. We would probably stay again if we go back out this wa, the friendly service makes it worth it!

There is only one ramp access to the hotel, but the luggage carts are not allowed to be placed there. instead, they are located at doors with outside steps, making them pretty useless, staff shrugged shoulders and said that's the way it is. the same situation makes it a dangerous place for wheelchair-bound if they must evacuate in a hurry. they can't, because there is only one exit available (even though some rooms are supposedly wheelchair-accessible). our room was cold and the thermostat wasn't working. someone came to fix it, then switched it to a/c±when it was 45 degrees outside!
