Pleasantly surprised with accommodations
I ended up needing to find a place to stay last minute after working all day and found this place. The pricing was reasonable and the pictures online looked like it was fairly well kept. After staying there overnight, I found everything to be fine. It is your average hotel in good shape. No odd smells or no weird stains anywhere.

Everyone was very friendly from the continental breakfast staff to Jay at the front desk who worked a back-to-back shift when we got there due to the bad weather. I would definitely stay here again.

Leave the TV clicker in the breakfast area.
The staff is very friendly and remembered me because I’ve been there several times.
They go out of their way to be helpful and remember frequent guests.
The only thing they might have to do differently is leave the television quicker in the breakfast area available for patrons to use to change channels.
Apparently somebody who works there thinks that MSNBC (MSLSD ) is the kind of propaganda guests should have to stomach while they’re having breakfast.
That employee, whoever she or he is, hid the clicker!
It’s almost enough to make me vomit when I have to listen to those excuses for journalists lie the way they do.
I certainly don’t want to listen to them at breakfast.
Everybody has their own preferences about news and which of the multiple points of view expressed by the news organizations they want to watch or listen to.
I suppose you could say the same thing when it happens the other way as it did when I was staying at a Marriott property recently in Tennessee.
All the monitors were tuned to FOX NEWS, which of course I don’t have a problem with, but then again, they don’t like it. They can complain the Marriott just like I’m complaining about it here.
Those breakfast facilities are in a much larger venue and you don’t have to watch the screenings if you don’t want to because they’re not right in your face.
It’s pretty much impossible small motel not watch or listen to this, especially when the monitor is mounted up near the ceiling.

The refrigerator had a foul smell, like rotted milk.
We could not put our food in it. And other guests were smoking marijuana on the floor we were on.YUCK and YUCK

Great place to stay in Pittsfield to see the Berks
The location is right near one of the Berkshire’s most famous historical attractions, Hancock, Shaker Village.
It is about 2 miles outside of downtown Pittsfield, which makes it a more attractive location for people who don’t wanna deal with downtown traffic and yet it’s quite accessible to downtown attractions for people who are looking for that.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they have coffee available for anyone who wants to use the machine in the lobby to make flavored coffee at any hour of the day or night it seems.
Breakfast selection did have a meat item as well as potatoes, and a variety of yogurts And cereals as well as baked goods.
There seem to be parking both in front and back of the property and the location was very quiet.
The one thing that’s possible and structural is that the wall between the individual units might not have the latest sound dampening because I could hear someone’s story And that’s all the odd thing that I noted but not enough to take away from my overall rating. Excellent.

Clean and friendly hotel stay
Great stay at this hotel with my pup. Hotel was very clean, and there was ample room around the parking lot to walk my dog. Front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a small but good variety of foods which were more than ample before a long day of hiking. And there was 24 hour coffee & hot water service, as well as microwave and fridge, which are always appreciated when I'm on a multi-day trip. Comfortable bed as well.

The location was convenient; felt safe and comfortable. Parking lot was a bit snug in front of the property, but very much appreciated being able to pull car up to unload/load during inclement weather conditions.
Staff was very friendly and courteous.
The only thing we would have like was the fried eggs of the breakfast buffet to have been hitter; and maybe offer one or two gluten free options in the individual bread or pastries.
Fresh fruit and “fix your own” oatmeal was a big hit! And the choices in your 24 hour coffee bar were very nice.

Pleasant experience - room was comfortable and relatively quiet. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Guests in the room upstairs from us were up all night long walking around so that was a downer - need more sound insulation. Loved that the hotel was dog-friendly and the fee was much more reasonable than some hotels. And there were some grassy areas to walk around in outside. We appreciated the coffee and hot water for tea but did not take advantage of the breakfast.

The staff at this location made my stay feel as if I was at home with my family. Bo, Rajid and Mary left a lasting impression on me. I will definitely keep this location in mind when traveling anywhere near (or even a little farther).

The carpet was very sticky. There were noticeable spills on the floor that were not cleaned. Looked liked spilled baby formula. The air conditioner unit had some mechanical issues and was intolerably loud. Staff I talked to were pleasant.

The Shower situation
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The soap dispenser in the shower was not working, asked to replace it, which they did, but the new one had a leak and the next day we had to wash the bottom of the bath first before taking a shower. It got slippery. Overall, the maintenance staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were extremely disappointed in our stay here. I don’t usually leave reviews, let alone a bad one. We walked in and the hotel smelled like smoke. When we checked in the man working the front desk didn’t say anything more than “what’s up?” As I walked up and “see ya” when we gave us the key. It was almost 10 pm and we had been on the road all day and we had 2 sick kids, so we didn’t say anything. We just wanted to sleep and move on. I took several pictures of the disgusting room. The sheets had some black spots on them. They for sure weren’t bed bugs, but we also found an eyelash and a wing for some kind of bug. We just covered the sheets with blankets and made it through the night. The bed skirt had what looked like semen or other fluids all over it. There was also dust all over. The breakfast was gross. The bagels were soggy. The yogurt was sour. I tried reaching out to the hotel after I left, but they have not responded to messages or phone calls. I will be contacting the corporate offices as soon as I have a voice back since I am not sick as well. We have stayed in tons of hotels and I am not picky when it comes to where we stay. I just cannot recommend staying here especially if you have young children.

The elevator was broken. They wanted to give me a second floor room. I could walk it, but carting my luggage up and down was another thing altogether. I was put in a first floor room room by a side door where other guests had a cook out with loud music playing for hours; to be fair they did give me a discount after I complained about the noise and the safety issue. I didn’t feel safe there.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus Berkshire Hills Inn & Suites in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, for four nights. Overall, my experience at this hotel was highly enjoyable, with a few minor drawbacks that didn't significantly impact my stay.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who were both incredibly hospitable throughout my stay. They were attentive, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Their warm demeanor made me feel right at home, and their commitment to excellent customer service was truly commendable.
The hotel's breakfast offerings were impressive, providing a little something for everyone. While I personally don't eat breakfast, I observed a diverse selection of delicious options available to guests. From pastries to cereals and a variety of beverages, the breakfast spread seemed to cater well to different tastes and dietary preferences.
One area that could use improvement, however, was the limited wifi connectivity. As someone who doesn't currently work, I didn't have a pressing need for internet access. Nevertheless, I could understand how this could be a major issue for other guests, especially those who rely on a reliable internet connection for business or personal purposes. However, I was pleased to learn that the hotel staff acknowledged this concern and informed me that they were actively working on increasing the wifi capacity to address the issue.

Parking was good and fairly easy, even after a big snow storm. Service was consistent and good quality. Decent food selection/options for breakfast. Staff was always available, courteous and friendly. Inn is situated on outskirts of town which was fairly quiet, but still close to amenities (gas bars, shopping). Only complaints I would have was that wi-fi was not always available for laptop but seemed available for smartphones. Also the pull-out couch/ bed in our room was not very comfortable. Could feel the springs.

Staff, in general, were very friendly, helpful, and competent.
Cleaners were another matter: noisy. VERY noisy. They left doors open, making visitors hear vacuums and chatter. They acted like they were at a party. They need to be reminded: paying clients might be ill or tired, need their kids to nap, or arrived late and need rest.
Cleaners need to set all room clocks, too. Expecting to meet friends after arriving, I panicked. Then I checked my iPhone and saw the clock-radio was off. Time on the microwave was not set at all.
The radio used batteries. I couldn't use my personal music device until I plugged it in the wall socket.
I also noted (1) the sink drain plug was unfastened and (2) no caulk existed where the shower/tub met the floor.
Sitting on a couch later in the lobby, I looked up: bugs were in ceiling light fixtures. They're not noticeable until you look up. Still, maintenance should clean them regularly.
While not the Ritz, it's certainly not a dump.
There are beverages (free juices at breakfast; sodas, etc., later in a vending machine) and 4 beers (why no complimentary bottle-openers?).
The included breakfast: eggs (hard-boiled, scrambled, omelets), bacon, sausages, home fries, yogurt, juices, muffins, bagels, waffles, coffee, tea, and so on. Nice.
There's not much happening around the venue. Go into town for that.
I found the front-facing room to be noisy: outside traffic! The back room was quiet.
Overall I'd give the place 3.5 out of 5.

It was a place to sleep, but considering the amount paid, you would think you stayed in a top notch place. The facility is on the older side, the elevator was slow and had a slide misallignment with the floor. We had to unplug the fridge as the noise was unbearable to sleep by. Once we did that, we could sleep somewhat peaceful. Our eyes burnt after taking a shower, and after closer inspection there was mold in the showerhead, and since I'm allergic, thus I had a reaction.

Hotel is in kind of a weird location, on a main road with businesses like a garage, U-haul, but located close enough to the downtown area & Lenox so it wasn’t an issue unless you really wanted to walk somewhere. Hotel staff was very nice & helpful. Hotel itself was a little worn out, they had some newer furniture, but you could tell it needs a refresh. Room was clean, but the A/C had mold in it so I was stuffy both nights. Bed was very firm. We didn’t eat breakfast, but it appeared to be the normal basic breakfast items. Overall not a bad hotel, just very basic for the price.

Our room was comfortable, the shower was nice, but the bed was not very comfortable, we only had wifi because we asked for a room with a decent connection (our friends who were down the hall and not right above the lobby had no wifi), the breakfast was very disappointing (the coffee, eggs and sausage were ok but there were only plastic-wrapped pastries and NO waffles), and the electrical outlet on the bedside lamp didn't work.

My first initial problem was the first room had sheets on the bed that clearly weren’t changed with Stan’s and crumbs in the bed. We changed rooms to another floor and it was much better. Bathroom is extremely small but it’s okay for quick stay.

This hotel served its purpose for our one night stay but there could be a few changes that would really improve this property. When we walked into our 3rd floor room, it smelled of dog. Due to allergies, I had requested a room that either doesn't accommodate pets or hasn't had one for a while. I was told that our room hadn't had a pet recently but our room smelled of wet dog, which was awful. Keeping the air conditioner on didn't really help dissipate the smell. I'd rip up the old looking rugs and put in laminate floors, as I think that would really brighten the room and help eliminate the smell. There were dryer sheets on top of the vanity lights and one wrapped around the fire sprinkler-not sure if that was supposed to help with the smell? The room's walls and door could use a good scrubbing as they were dirty. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The front staff was very friendly and helpful and the free parking is easy to find and bountiful. At $217/night, it's not a cheap hotel find, so would appreciate upgrading the rooms, otherwise I'll pay the extra money and stay at Hotel on North.

Everything was clean and up to date. Bed was very comfortable, very. Bathroom was excellent, shower head had massage settings.
Nice exercise room, dining room large with lots of food options for breakfast.
Parking very good. Staff was especially great ! Friendly, efficient and helpful. Any problems, they immediately got on and fixed.
Only negative is that the town is a bit isolated so dining options are a bit limited. Have to google for the mom and pop type local diners. There is a good one out and left about .3 miles away.

A nice place overall, but nothing stands out. Given the card key to the first room which had never been cleaned. I felt like we were invading someone's privacy. They did quickly give us another room, but the image burned there, with beds unmade and open pizza boxes. And not inexpensive accommodations. Guess I'll pay up more next time in the area.

The people in adjoining room kept their tv on all night until 6:00 am. And the walls are thin all we heard ALL night was their TV no sleep there!,!! there was a smell of smoke in the registration area even though you designate area outside, smell as soon as you enter the checking area
