I stayed in a nice large suite with my 4 children. There was plenty of room for everyone, and breakfast was clutch. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I'm sure we'll stay here again on our trips through Virginia.

There was an odor in the room that permeated everything, it was even carried out in my luggage after one night. It seemed a combination of mold and cleaning solution, horrible!

Close enough to areas around Lynchburg and Liberty University. Easy to get to. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean as expected. Breakfast was very good.

Our AC did not work. I asked the front desk for another room. She told me she did not have one. I told her I could not stay in a room without AC. She then went back and found a room.

Ok but underwhelming for Marriott
Nice hotel and good service. However our two bed room seemed very narrow. The wall came a few feet or so past the end of the bed. Functional but felt cramped and not like a Marriott room. A few days later I stayed at a different Springhill and that room was much larger and what you’d expect. Maybe I got an unusual room. Breakfast was only fair with items running out with only a few folks dining. Felt more like a budget hotel than I expected.

On the surface it looked ok, but the bathroom fan sounded like an airplane taking off, and around the tub was water damaged and smelled mildewed. Had some terrible allergies in the room, and there were not enough pillows. Airport across the street, and the planes started up at 3:30 am. I did not sleep at all.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Free cookies and hot chocolate at night is a win win in my book. Convenient to everything at Liberty. Stayed both times in Lynchburg. Staff excellent and attentive.

Spacious but Stingy
The room is a nice size and usually this is not something I care about but on holiday trips to visit family we spend more time in the hotel room than on other trips. There could be more outlets.
The location was very convenient during the holidays as I was able to avoid most traffic but still have access to the nearby restaurants and shopping. Given that it was a holiday the hotel seemed rather empty.
I call out this hotel for being stingy as there was housekeeping service every other day and at one point we were out of tissues and seriously instead of replacing the box, they put a small stash of tissues where the empty box was.

An amazing stay
Takia, which I am probably not spelling her name correctly, was amazing and made our quick stay very comfortable. She even reminded me of the treats and snacks before we left for the conference.
The lady who look care of us at breakfast was also amazing. I unfortunately did not get her name. She was warm and bubbly, she also helped us with whatever we needed.

The property was nice. The room, especially the bathroom, needed a bit of a face lift, but it was clean, safe, convenient, and plenty of space provided. People were ready to help and assist, and overall it was a delightful stay with convenient access to the highway.

I booked this property for the outdoor pool for my kids. I arrived, and the pool had no water in it on July 4th! We had to go to a neighboring hotel to use an indoor pool, no sun. The Breakfast was poor, it was prepackaged ham and cheese sandwich and a quiche! No eggs, or meat. Cmon dont be so cheap!!!

There was noise that I complained about from the floor above us, and the supervisor didn’t bother to personally show up or try to fix the situation, they just conveyed an “apology” through one of the staff members which I felt was very unprofessional. And the fact that the ac was not blowing cold air and me having to make 3 calls to the front desk for this issue to be resolved and for myself to request a room change

I was there for my graduation on Thursday. The bathroom was stoop up and had a funny smell. The toilet overflowed and the hotel staff just brought us a plunger! Not our experience staying at a Springhill hotel in the past. I was not satisfied with the service at all! It wasn’t our issue we had just arrived from checking in!

I just loved it when we walked into the Lobby, It was so inviting. And the way they decorated for Christmas was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay everything so clean the atmosphere was wonderful. The guy behind the counter was very courteous.

Valley Forge Vacation
I loved this hotel. We've stayed at a Springhill Suites in another state and real liked it. This one was just as great. Only slight downside was that there was no room service. However, they would bring you whatever you needed. Bag breakfasts were provided, if wanted. Hotel was very clean; beds were comfortable. Valley Forge is right across from the entrance to the hotel.

3:00 on a Saturday afternoon I got a noise complaint about my 4 and 6 year old. Ridiculous. The room smelled like smelly feet or a locker room I went out to purchase an air freshener but it did not do the trick.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Noisy and our floor (3rd) smelled constantly of marijuana. After advising the front desk of smell and noise from neighboring guests, nothing was done. Still loud and still remakes of marijuana

We got to the room after a long hot day and the room was 80 degrees. They tried fixing twice and said just give it time it will kick on, it never did, we ended up having to move our family of 4 from two double beds to one king at almost midnight plus out little boy had already been asleep. No refunding, no discount. Not happy. It was very inconvenient.
