The staff was super nice and accommodating. We checked out of another facility a day early and came to AyraBlu and while we were not able to check in, they did allow us to park and access the beach from there. Room was clean and spacious. I would stay here again

DO NOT STAY. Heat did not work on one of the coldest night of the year (in the 30s) dirty beat up furniture. Vent fan made banging noises all night with every wind gust. Terrible experience.

It's not like the pictures on the internet and most hotel has 11:00 check out the next day they have 10:00 and they wrote The 10 with a marker over the 11:00 in the office I thought it was some kind of state code that all of them have to go by the same state laws

This is a great hotel right on the water. I could see how parking could be an issue if it was summer and the hotel is at full occupancy. Maybe they have a plan for that. The room was clean and the staff was very pleasant.

Not choosing them again.
Room was not the one I chose. From their own options and photos.
The wanted to up charge for the view I had already paid for.
The room was not to my liking. Too dark for a beach hotel.
Parking spaces under roof, between columns is dangerous.
Parking to tight all around. And parking behind mine, too tight for the other as well. Difficult to enter and exit.
I checked out the next day. Their first reaction was to no refund the following days, until I told them I would comunícate with Hotels.com.

Stay Away! Bait & switched-View not as advertised!
I had promised my young 3yr old child - who was hospitalized for over 3months - a few days vacation on the oceanfront to see and hear the waves from the balcony. Through Hotels.com I selected and paid for a room that clearly said 'Oceanfront'. When we showed up they offered us a room directly over the office on the second floor. Clearly not an 'Oceanfront' view. The property is shaped like a 'U' and their office is at the bottom of the 'U' and about 200-300 meters away from the oceanfront and the two other ends of their hotel. Between my room and the oceanfront was a massive parking lot. You could barely see the ocean, let alone hear it. I asked to be place on one of the ends of the property that actually faced the water and was closer, but was told it will cost me an additional $30 more per night, a total of $190 more for a real oceanfront stay! This unplanned expense I couldn't afford. So I explained the problem to Hotels.com and request a refund so I could quick rebook an actual "Oceanfront". But sadly my son's vacation time was cut short because this property kept the first night of our funds. I'm angry for this fraud they can get away with so easily when the list their business on Hotels.com, & secondly they cheated us out of 1 more night we had intended to stay at the lovely Oceanfront hotel where rebooked. We had to checkout on Xmas day, bcuz the cheated us a day with that baith and switch scam. Looks like it something the do often.

Decent Hotel For the Price
Overall the hotel was decent. If you are staying for a night sure that's it. When they say free breakfast, there's noting but coffee. My room had paint chipped off the walls. Smushed bugs on the bathroom walls. The hot water did not even get until five minutes in. Yes, I did time it. My door of the room was not on properly since there were a couple of times I had issues using the card. I get it it was the slow season but still If you have some extra cash flowing fix up the property.

When this property was originally built in the 60's, it was probably stunning. However, over the years and hurricanes it has fallen into disrepair. There is renovation going on and construction materials and debris on site. The room meant for breakfast service is filled with "stuff"
The lot next to the motel is empty after whatever was there was demolished. There is no place to eat within walking distance except a donut shop. The property is at the northern end of the beach area. Rooms were shabby with stained furniture, rusty refrigerator and beat up doors and mouldings. Cleaning was adequate, but could have been much better. However, the location is beautiful and right on the beach. The lobby did have coffee, fruit and wrapped muffins for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they were making the best effort with the situation they had. Not sure what the owner has planned for this motel but it is certainly in limbo now and going down hill. Definitely not worth the price that was charged for the room. Do not recommend for families or someone who envisions lounging at the motels facilities for the day

Okay hotel, some disappointments
Hotel is in a great location. However, there were some disappointments. The hotel is a little run down. Our room had a large crack in the window and the door on the bathroom looked like a large dog tried to claw its way out. The door to the hallway slammed shut very forcefully and the door to the balcony was difficult to open. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was a HUGE disappointment with coffee, small muffins individually wrapped, apples the size of plums and bananas. When asked if there was something for kids to drink I was abruptly told no. The room that is labeled as where the breakfast should be is being used as storage. There is a juice machine and other common breakfast appliances visible. There is however a Dunkin and IHOP in waking distance which we went to. We were never able to successfully connect to the WiFi. If internet is a need, consider a hotspot.

Going into the room of this property was a SHOCK. It was absolutely a disaster, and the more we looked the worse it got. Starting with the entryway door, there was old glue and grime. The table and chairs looked like they were from an old diner they got a deal on. The ac unit worked well, however it was being held up by a plank of wood? The wall had holes and chips in the paint. The dehumidifier kept beeping in the middle of the night. The toilet seat was broken off the toilet. The pillowcases had bedbug droppings. I am not sure if there was a worse place to stay! Outside the ac units deposited their water from the bottom through cut water bottles and soap containers. The only good thing about this place was the pool area was nice, the staff was friendly and the ocean access. I will definitely not be coming back.

We had a corner room, that had an ocean view, which was good, but people hung out outside or room do, so the could enjoy the view. Which made it noisy. Rooms need updating, bathrooms have been updated, but that was all. Our curtains did not close all the way. There was a button attached to the curtain, so that you could snap it closed, but that wad broke too.
Very hard to be pet friendly, when there is no grass around. We had to take our dogs to the open lot next door, however it is nothing but sand and small thorny spurs that got stuck in between our dogs foot pad and was very painful for him.

Great services by staff but less than expected conditions when arriving at property. Had to ask for many items such as kitchen items such as plates and utensils but were taken care of. Full kitchen not equipped - no cooking or eating utensils. Pool was adequate but there was no whirlpool even though signs are still posted. Ask for management to look forward toward further satisfying their customers!!!

Very disappointed
When I got there at 1230am, I was harassed about my service animal and it took almost 45 minutes for the attendant to figure out my service dog was ok and didn't need to pay to stay there. When I got to the room, the curtains were shredded like they had been attacked by a badger. I spilled water on the florr and wiped it up. The cloth came away filthy. The floor was gritty with sand as if it had not been swept. When I went down for the breakfast at 8 am, there was only a banana and a muffin. Had to go over to dunkin donuts for breakfast. The woman in the lobby never even said good morning. Overall it was a big disappointment.

False info and poor management
To start off my "ocean view" was a parking lot that I was told if I looked around the wall on the balcony i could see the ocean. The guy at the counter tried to help but management wanted another $59 per night to put us on what they called a ocean front room, only room with a actual ocean view. And the lady there on sunday was extremely rude and dismissive. I will never stay there again and do not recomend. To add to the false information their "kitchen supplies" only had 1 for and 1 spoon and barely any supplies at all. They acted as if it was too much to ask just for us to get what they claimed to supply online.

Would not stay at the hotel again
My experience with check in was terrible. We had to wait on the beach for 3hours to wait till 3pm to check-in. They told us rooms were not ready to come in back 15 minutes. We went back to the beach area went back to check-in 20 minutes later and then we had to wait in line another 25 minutes to check in after I was there first time in 15 minutes they made me to go to the back of the line again. First time we tried to check in we told them we wanted a bottom floor room then after waiting for a full 45 minutes or so we still did not get a bottom floor room and the people that were ahead of me they received bottom floor room after I waited for another 35 minutes for no reason at all they stuck me and my wife on the 2nd floor . Also the parking was very cramped It did not have room for pickup trucks to be able to park adequately. I can say that the beds were very comfortable but is about it.

Not what we expected
This place does not live up to its pictures. We found the floors were dirty. The door leak light, there was no Do Not Distribe Sign, the grass was not cut, the refrigerator was old and dented. Lastly the room was very small and smelled. We checked out early because we were very disappointed in this motel.

The best thing is this hotel is on the beach, however, it says oceanview, well the rooms are all opposite of the beach so unless u go outside, u cannot view the ocean from your room.
The deskclerk could not find my reservation that was already paid, so I had to use my cash to pay for the room, and I was told by the desk clerk if I decided to leave I would get a refund in cash, but that was a lie. When I checked out, the desk clerk said I would have to wait 7-10 days and they would refund on my debit card. Even after a week, I had to call to get my refund.
I would not recommend this hotel if u need a decent parking spot and actually want an oceanview. I have stayed in alot better hotels for less.

This is basically an old Days inn with the new coat of paint. All the pictures are deceptive they're all pictures of a penthouse they don't represent the actual rooms. The rooms are very small they do not have a bath a shower combo just a shower there is no bathtub there is no phone the paint is chippping off the walls and the business center is a nook in the lobby with one computer. The metal frame below the beds preventing you from putting things underneath it are so loud that they sound like a horror film when you move on the bed. You can't see the ocean even If you book a partial ocean view not even if you had binoculars. I tried to get a late check out they wouldn't allow it The pool closes before the sun even goes down I don't recommend this place for anybody. And I'm still waiting for a deposit back

Very disappointed with hotel
Hotel does not look anything as the photos posted. False advertisement was mentioned on the booking stating it was a oceanfront view then we get the room and it is a parking lot view and the hotel rep states that is our partial view which I showed them what the booking stated and they did nothing to change it. The next morning I get a call to the room basically kicking us out of the room and did not even ask if we were ok or anything they can do to assist us or anything! I will definitely not ever book with them again or refer anyone to them!

It’s an old hotel , apparently it’s been recently bought over by new people . The towels were clean and the sheets on the bed looked clean . The blanket on the bed was very old and had burn holes in it . The curtains to the room had a huge gap about 5 inches and we had to push a chair up to hold curtain closed , it still didn’t close . The sofa was grungy and I didn’t want to sit on it . I believe in hotels all bed linens should be changed out between guests . I can’t say they not changed out but I cannot say they were either . Nicer hotel chains use all white bed linens . Sheets , blankets and everything . It gives the hotel an appearance of feeling clean. I have no idea I’d the blankets spreads and pillows were changed between clients . In my opinion it should all be changed and washed between guests . The hotel location was spectacular with ocean front views and it did have a nice pool .

Dont understand the negative reviews.. i was quite pleased with my stay for a week.
Comforters need updated, and would like to see juice with the coffee for breakfast but other than those i would definitely recommend this place.. pool is very nice and it is oceanfront. Room 102, and you walk right out your door to the pool/ocean.
Byron, our house keeper was super nice and helpful and definitely an asset to your company. Will definitely stay here next time im in Daytona! Book online, cheaper!

The motel is located Beach front with their pool facing the beach!! The rooms have been mostly refurbished and the furniture is OK for being a beach motel. The motel is pretty quite and there are sufficient dining options walkable for most people. Publix is approximately 1 mile away

Property outdated but clean. Room was large but not stocked with adequate linens/towels for our family size or the pull out couch, and one window was currently missing and boarded. The view was perfect, the pool deck was awesome, and the staff was friendly!

Had to change rooms because the first room had a broken door with a hole in the top. They took our towels and never brought back new ones. Vent fan in bathroom didn’t work. Water pressure to sink was way too strong it got me all wet. Fridge didn’t close right.

The breakfast was not breakfast. It wss an apple in plastic and a mini muffin, coffee and the coffee was so bad. No other options. I still am waiting for deposit refund. They had weird check out of 10 am. I was scared so left at 9:30 am just in case. Pool was ok. View of ocean was limiting in my room but ok. They are clean. So, okay overall. The advertisement of amenities is not accurate sonit bothers me.

The stay was good for the 1 night we needed it for, the beds are smaller than queens even though that’s how it is advertised. We paid for a partial ocean view but was stuffed in the back corner of the hotel even though multiple rooms were open. Staff wasn’t very welcoming and all you get for breakfast are little muffins and fruit. If you need somewhere to stay longer then a day, look elsewhere.

I can’t believe all the bad reviews! We had a GREAT time here!! We were almost the only guest, the property was obvious under renovations and our room was absolutely beautiful. The view, the beach, the pool, everything was amazing. I could complain that the breakfast wasn’t great but I mean it was free so homely get over it. The pool was sooooo great. We just went pool beach pool beach the entire time. We never had any other guest with us in the pool. We left out chairs and stuff right on the beach the entire day no problems. My dog was welcome and there and he loved walking on the beach so much. It was one of the best staycations I’ve ever been on. I’ll stay here again for sure.

I came for a family health situation. I wanted a nearby hotel convenient to where I had to be. I was very pleased with the hotel and my room. Very clean, newly renovated and a plus was great view of the ocean/beach.
The bed was comfortable. The in room fridge worked great and allowed me to save money by storing milk , breakfast and lunch items. Overall a great experience and I will be returning.

I reserved a beachfront room and was offered a bottom level ocean view room. The window that was beachfront was unable to be opened. I was told it would've had to say beachfront balcony, but there was no option for that. I think it's just a scam to get more money to do an upgrade.

I booked through Expedia.com, it advertised there was an outdoor pool, kiddie pool, and a hot tub. We got there and they only had an outdoor pool. Very disappointed about that… we were really looking forward to the hot tub. They do serve a grab & go breakfast. The muffins are pretty good. Great service and no one bothered you.

Upon arrival the power was out so they were not able to make me a key to my room. They said to come back in 45mins. I had my dog with me so we just parked across the street and waited the 45mins. When I came back the power was still out. I asked if they expect me to just keep coming back every hour to which the front desk woman replied oh I guess that would be inconvenient. She wrote down my phone number and when I gave my name she already put the pen down so she didn’t bother to write it. Hours pass and no one calls. I finally attempt to call them, the phone number on Apple Maps is the old Days Inn phone number that won’t lead you to Arya Blu Inn. You have to google the correct phone number. At this point I’m pretty frustrated with them but someone picks up and I ask why no one called me. He has an attitude with me and tells me that I have to pay in cash. I let him know I booked online and already paid. He says you still have to pay a deposit and it has to be in cash. So now I have to go to the bank when I should’ve been checked into my room hours ago. Again, I had my dog with me which was one of the only reasons I chose this hotel. I arrive to check in for the 3rd time that day & he claims I had an attitude with him & that I was rude over the phone. I explain my frustration with the company again & he ignored it. He was training a woman who honestly looked sorry for my situation but neither of them apologized. Room was gross too I didn’t stay just came back 4 deposit

The Wi-Fi was nonexistent in our room. I booked an oceanfront room with a balcony but got an ocean front room with no balcony on the first floor with a windows view to the ocean which didn’t open either. Overall the stay was disappointing at best.

This was a small place, but very well kept. It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and look at the waves. The rooms were large. There is shopping all around. Very nice to just walk out and go a few feet to see and be on the beach. Definitely planning on going back to stay. When coming to Ormond beach.for, any events.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT STAY
We arrived late in the evening but were still greeted with a smile by Sasha. She was extremely helpful and even told me where to go to by some fresh raw oysters after i unloaded the car. Sasha also was very understanding about people whom are disabled and worked with us on check out as we over slept and were slow moving out of the room.

I would recommend for anyone to stay at Arya Blu Inn, everyone there is really great to accommodate you with all your needs. The hotel is clean and right on the beach which is really nice. We didn't have to go far for dining out. Shopping was great also and only a few miles away. If you're going to Ormond beach, I would recommend this hotel to stay in.

Room was spacious and included a kitchenette however there were no kitchen accessories available like pans or tableware.
