Don't understand why people gave this place such a bad review ,front desk was very nice all the maids, everybody on the property were super nice the continental breakfast was wonderful the pool was great the only drawback is is yes the carpet was a little dirty , I can put some flip flops or socks on for that.Ill be back for sure. Publix my favorite rite across the street. Liquor store also. We're good to go.😎

The property overall seemed to be in poor repair. The front door of our room had a visible gap in it which made us feel a little uneasy. 0 level of hospitality and greeting with the staff at this hotel. No clear instructions on the room location during check in. A little map would help to find your room when it's a odd numbered unit and around the back. Their saving grace is their location period.

NOT ADA COMPLIANT!!
When we checked in, we let them know we have a service dog. They said we had to show them certification. We let them know thats against the law and advised them that the ADA rules state that they can ask only 2 questions.
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
They did not ask either of those questions, they just said their policy is to require proof of certification. We explained that their policy does not supercede the law.
They proceded charged us an extra $100 fee for the service dog, $200 in total. We made sure they inspected the room in the morning and gave us a receipt for the refund of the $200 deposit. We saw other reviews saying they were keeping deposits.
We emailed them the link to the ADA section that explains about service animals.
As far as the room, it was clean by Miami hotel standards. It smelled strange. The bed was soft but lumpy. Over-all it works as a budget hotel.

Thin curtains so room very light all night. Door locks don’t work well, require several attempts, had to be replaced after 24 hrs. Bathroom space very small- hard to close door!

Great place for the price! Located near almost everything you can hit the national parks and come back to grab a great meal right next to the hotel. They are updating the rooms so dont be shocked if crews are there during the day time. My only recommendation is if the rooms could have black out curtains for ground level as lights from cars parking beam right in.

Tout était parfait et nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Nous avons même voulu réserver pour une 2e nuitée sur place mais il n'y avait malheureusement plus de chambres libres. Ce qui démontre que l'endroit est populaire.

You getting what you pay for
We had a clogged toilet from the first day (stayed 6 nights) and nobody came to fix, every day all our towels got taken away and only parts of them got replaced. No refill on paper cups for coffee maker and the WIFi was really bad, so we had to use our hotspot. Also it says free laundry but you need to pay for it.

Parking here is an absolute nightmare! Very limited, small spaces. One way in, one way out. Best to get there early and stay. The rooms are ok, beds are way too soft. Continental breakfast during the week and full breakfast on Sat and Sun only. Good things about it.... it's clean and no bugs! The pool was nice but idk about it actually being heated.

Pros: it was clean and warm, the ac/heater worked well, maid service was good, service at front desk was friendly.
Cons: the mattress must’ve been 50 years old because it dipped down in the middle so much that you could see the actual dip. My back hurt every morning. The shower has NO COLD SETTING. Like at all. It was scalding hot and the handle wouldn’t turn. I had to stand outside the stream of water and bend so that it just hit my hair. Otherwise it was burning my skin. Breakfast had no gluten free and/or vegan options besides a few bruised bananas.

They were completely gutting the room next to ours, first the crew was talking loudly outside of the room by the window- then everything from the room was being removed- and all of this started very early in the morning around 8am.

I guess you get what you pay for. The room was acceptable but not great. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close. People in neighboring rooms were noisy, even in the middle of the night. Breakfast was ok on the weekend, but no hot meal during the week, just a continental breakfast.

The hotel should be closed down. It looks horrible. Parking is a nightmare. We couldn’t open the door and then when we finally open the door we came in to the room we couldn’t close it. The room looked bad and it even smelled bad. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody.

OK but not great
It was inexpensive and the continental breakfast was OK. Nothing to shout about but a way to save money. We will probably never stay there again, but while run down it wasn't bad or anything. Just a motel.

Fine for a night.
A perfectly good place to stop for a night if you’re heading to or from the keys but it’s not that great.
1: Checkin polite, smooth and no problem.
2: Location excellent, easy access and supermarket across the street.
3: Room, paper thin walls, noisy. Dated. More like a 90s motel with a bit of a refresh.
4: Smell in the outside walkways - urine in some areas.
5: Noise - trucks reversing until 2am and shouting from the motel opposite.
6: Nice pool and heated
7: Free breakfast perfectly good enough.
In summary, the hotel staff are nice but the property itself just isn’t up to much. I wouldn’t stay there more than a night when enroute to somewhere else.

If there is no bed bug, I would rate hotel higher. My little son got bite by bed bug which is very annoying. The bed is soft and comfy, the breakfast includes egg but no sauceage. Fruit includes banana,apple and tangerine. The hotel has nice front desk and the room decor is good, but the building itself is very motel style, except they have outdoor pool. If you are lucky enough not got bite by bed bug, this hotel would be good.

Curtains are paper thin and its like the surface of the sun with all the lights outside the door so good luck sleeping. Construction 2 doors down vibrating the whole room all day long into the evening. Ac didnt work. It was like a fan and made the bedding super damp. Terrible pillows! I will say the room was very clean though.

This was by far THE WORST hotel I have EVER been to. I travel a lot and never had to leave a hotel before, but we left this one! Let’s start with the smell…horrible! Musty. Moldy. Damp. Our door in to our room didn’t even close. The furniture was so old and destroyed. The carpet was NASTY!!! We didn’t even take our shoes off. Had to put towels from the bathroom (that were dirty) on the bed to sit down. And when I went to get the towels,there was a lizard on the wall in the bathroom that crawled back up in to the drop ceiling. I can only imagine what else was in there. No outlets except the one on the bathroom wall. Had to try and plug everything in to a strip in back of the mini fridge. Power kept going out. We immediately packed and left when we saw the huge roach crawling up the side of the bed. They refuse to give me a refund. Expedia was also not much help. Why they even have this so called hotel offered on their site is beyond me. Typically I plan most of my things through Expedia but will be reconsidering after this. Just avoid this place. It’s filthy, big invested and the other “guests” we very questionable. Wondering why we chose this one? The pictures looked fine online for a quick overnight stay…too bad the room pictures posted were NOTHING like the actual room! Awful. Just awful.
