They should have low flow bathroom fixtures. The shower feels lovely but so much water is dispensed, the drain cannot keep up and the tub starts to fill. The drain wasn’t clogged, once I turned off the shower the tub drained quickly

The hotel didn’t have any frills but it had everything I needed. The guy who checked us in was a sweetheart. The only thing that was super annoying was that I requested a late checkout at 1 p.m. to make a work conference call, but I had two housekeepers knock on the door to clean the room after noon. That interrupted my conference call twice! So maybe don’t get a late checkout.

Keys do not work well. Very frustrating. Toilet didn’t flush well. It took over 20 pushes on the shampoo dispenser to get enough shampoo to wash my very short hair! Stingy.

The property has uniformed security; locked elevator access; fairly nice rooms; private breakfast room; next to a gas station and an excellent Saffron restaurant that has Indian, American, and Mediterranean food.

Where do I start? There were no safety certificates in the elevators (which felt like they were bumping around side to side in the shaft and squealing loudly). The day clerk addressed me as “sir” (I am a very tall heavyset woman, who rarely wears makeup). There were other issues, but the most significant one was when another guest said she found bedbugs in her room. Nope. I can handle guys hotboxing a few doors down and security napping in his car, but I gotta pass on the bedbugs, thanks. I asked to speak to the manager; they were in “a meeting”. Reading other reviews, this manager spends an exorbitant amount of time in meetings, so it’s no wonder the hotel is run so poorly.

We stayed here for it’s affordability and proximity to the light rail station. When we arrived to our room, the TV remote was not working. We called the front desk and were informed that “all of the remotes are broken, there’s a work order placed to fix them” but nothing else could be done. The sheets on the bed looked dirty, like they were never changed from the previous guest. The vending machine down the hall was not working. There were homeless tents across the street and around the corner from the hotel. Overall, we would not stay here again.

Hidden Gem
Location was perfect for accessing the Northgate's Lite Rail Station to move my daughter into UW Dorms and attend a UW football game. Staff was friendly, attention to detail in the breakfast area was great. Breakfast had a new daily menu that was always plentiful and tasty. This is an older hotel but is being taken care of. My only suggestion would be to have more efficient shampoo/soap/ conditioner dispensers because they were extremely difficult to get enough product to clean sufficiently. The Indian restaurant adjacent to the hotel was excellent. Freeway access is great and shopping close by. For the value, I would definitely stay here again.

There was a man repeatedly walking around the outside of the property. I was going to park in the back, but he stood in front of my car and tried to make me get out. There is a homeless community close by. I reported it to the desk person.

Convenient and surprisingly quiet
Room was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Enough space for luggage and to work at the desk. Good lighting. Not a fan of outside entrances but they have good blackout and privacy curtains. Nice free breakfast. Friendly staff. Being right off a busy highway and heavy traffic area, we expected quite a bit of road noice but never noticed it. Good water pressure in shower. Overall a very comfortable stay. Saffron Grill is steps away and serves delicious Indian, Mediterranean and American food. McDonald and Starbucks across the street and several gas stations nearby. Close to Northgate Mall, Target and several medical facilities.

Good but lots of homeless encampments
Neighborhood was sketchy. Lots of homeless encampments. The hotel was okay, things were clean; sheets, towels, floors, shower. Walking distance to food options. Good communication messages from management prior to arrival. Staff was okay, but not very friendly. Overall an okay place to stay, if the homeless and drug use is something you can get past. Which appears to be almost everywhere.

Room was great, service was great but breakfast was not good. Overall we would stay again for the price but for UW games we will not be staying again due to the distance. We ate at Stanford's and it was great and right up the street.

Good hotel, okay comfort, friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Plenty of tight parking, so I’d look for a space less busy.
The bed was comfortable, but very firm.
We were there four nights, and they never once took out the trash; we tried the hanging sign, removing the sign (hoping for a knock on the door, and then just directly asking the staff, just never came by.

The hotel was nice the street noise could be heard a little thought. Breakfast was great, everything was refilled quickly and they had a pretty good variety to choose from! Cleanliness of the room was good, just a little dust collected under the nightstand and the only reason i know is because my toddler threw a toy there 😄.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the property in general -- very clean. I was also surprised at how quiet the room was, given that the Northgate area is so busy. However, it was the perfect location for me -- very convenient and easy to navigate. The breakfast was also delicious with lots of choices.

This isn't even a hotel. It's a motel. Dirty. Smells of mold. Noisy. My wife couldn't even stay without worrying that there were bedbugs so we left immediately and stayed at a different hotel in Renton. Dodgy neighborhood. The stairwell (which is outdoors) is locked all night and there were three groups trying to use it in the few minutes we were there. I had to point out the sign to them. Will never again. Still waiting to hear from Hotels.com about a refund.

Go no sleep!! Our room had one of those room dividing doors and it had a 2 inch gap in the bottom so we heard everything from our neighbor who kept us up until 5am. If we had a good neighbor we would have still not gotten any sleep because the hotel plays music on full blast under the car port 24/7 that can be easily heard in the room. I called the front desk at 3:30am to ask them to turn it down and told me it was a maintenance issue and he couldn’t do anything about it.

The bathroom wasn't that clean. The baseboard were filthy.
The shower curtain wasn't long enough to reach in side the tub, so water went everywhere. The bracket for the curtain was installed incorrectly. The nearest door to our room was locked at 7pm. so you had to go clear to the lobby to get in. Most places close their door at 9.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The area felt a tad bit sketchy to me but we didn't have any issues. There is a security guard outside for added security. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. Close to the train station if you want to go to downtown Seattle.

Wife and 2 teenage kids stayed there for one night. pics looked great online but it was run down!! When they checked and entered their room a child was In their room! Once in their room the AC wasn’t working! Told the front desk and got an oh well response!! Terrible service!

Hotel Nexus Seattle

Staff were professional, helpful, and enthusiastic. Convenient location near to shopping mall, restaurants, gas stations, and not far from downtown. Comfortable room and beds. Breakfast area was small, but they allowed/encouraged people to eat in lobby (with nice tables and chairs). The A/C units in our room were outdated and loud; fan mode was fine, not very loud. We stayed in a suite at 4th floor.

I was really disappointed in this hotel. I used to live not far and the area really has gone downhill. I’m traveling with family and a child with asthma. The hotel room was supposed to be non smoking. Plenty of signs saying no smoking yet all around us were people smoking. Even in front of security guards and cameras. Not to mention one of the rooms close to us had at least ten people hanging out drinking and smoking. Parking was mediocre and breakfast was fine. But even homeless people were sitting around and even walked into the lobby for a while one day I was in there.

Free parking is good. We stayed in a king room which just had one office chair (no sofa). Asked for another chair which they claimed they didn't have. Passed by other similar vacant rooms with 2 chairs. Had to sit on the bed with my bad back for 2 nights.

I had reserved a king bed. When I arrived I was told the type of room I reserved was not available. A room with a king bed was available but I would have to pay an additional $17. I asked if there were any rooms that I could have for the price of my reservation and I was put in a room with queen beds. They also charged my card for my prepaid room which the morning clerk stated he would resolve.
Other than that the place was okay.

The staff were SO nice and welcoming. It's on a busier street, but where our room was, you wouldn't know it. We stayed for a quick overnight trip and the room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Literally every staff-- from the front desk attendant to housekeeping to the parking attendant-- were so warm and friendly. It felt like staying with friends.
Only note is that bathroom doors may need some updating. Ours wouldn't close because the door seemed too big for the frame, but not the end of the world at all. Will definitely stay here again!

Homeless man near our room, curious a lot and ready to graffiti the rooms area, have to tell the front line. Neighbor, closing the door, loud and fighting in their room around 2:30am, have to call front desk again at super early morning. This hotel is terrible. They also have the first floor with the medical people. How can they consider this as hotel? Goodness I only stay one day.Never booked this hotel again.

Arrived late with my family. Staff was very friendly. Room was very spacious - bathroom, not so much but it works. The beds were too firm for my wife but I thought they were the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Loved the full sized fridge and the kitchen area. The sink faucet wasn’t tight though.
With the exception of the USB charging plugs, the other electronics in the room worked fine. Nice selection of channels on TV. Breakfast selection was average with limited but quality selections. Parking on site was good and staff were out early in the morning tidying up the parking area which was very clean.
I’d recommend this place to others, especially if you’re going to be staying for a few days and could use the extra amenities in the room.

The rooms are not sound-proof. I was able to hear the conversations of the family next to me and the horrible coughing of the man on the other side of me.
I laid my dirty clothing on the bathroom floor and when i picked them up there was floor dust on them.
My husband and I stayed here several years ago and we thought the hotel was nice at that time. It certainly wasn't the same experience.

Worst staff. Rude. Not ADA acceptable for getting to 4th floor after 7pm. They lock doors even with key card. Anna was rude and very disrespectful to me. Room is NOT AS DESCRIBED OR PICTURED. I’m a best western premier member and this is NOT HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE. WORST BEST WESTERN FROM CHECK IN TO GOING BACK TO FROM OFFICE TWICE
