Non-Comfort Inn
No toothpaste. I had to go to Hyatt to get some.
No password to enter business computer.
6 am staff is sleeping at front counter against the wall while guests are in the lobby. I have pictures.
Also, room was never cleaned the whole time I was there.

The bathroom needs to be fixed, shawer wasn't working, i complained, he give me another key to move out, and the key didn't work, i end up starting in the room without a shawer, i think the bathroom needs an update

Definitely Recommend
The room was very spacious and clean. Location was great. The towels were not the best and the bathtub was extremely noisy when stepping on almost felt as if it would fall through the floor. But that is the only criticism I have otherwise great stay

When I checked in at 5:30 the maid was still cleaning the room 314 and it wasn't ready. I received another room on the second floor. There was someone staying in that room. After about a half hour I finally got a room.

There’s rooms on the 1st floor that is very junky.
The attendant first gave me a key next door to the room that is used to store furniture and all sorts of things. The carpet is worn and some of the rooms on 1st floor is in terrible condition.

The property was “tired”. Carpet was dirty, bathroom light fan in our room had a loud high pitch sound. Shuttle bus interior was dirty. Definitely could use some TLC.

Very nice clean room. There was a desk with chair where my husand needed to work. Also loveseat as well as a cushioned window seat w/ wedge pillow. And frig with small freezer compartment (like 1950 refrigerators but I haven't seen in small modern friges). Our room was so quick, 201 at the end of hall. And nice view out windows, looking thru trees at parking lot. So much nicer than we expected. And a very nice breakfast. Will recommend to friends.

This is one of the worst facilities I have ever seen. From the entrance you smell the smoke every where. AC are old and extremely noisy. It is a rat house and I am very unsatisfied because I could not sleep from the noise all night. Do yourself a favor and don’t even think being there. Very sorry.

The hotel was very convenient to Dulles, but the hotel is unkempt and one of the exit doors didn't have a handle. The carpet is dirty and needs replaced.

Shuttle service & free self parking are nice.
Breakfast options are good. Lobby is smelling like smoke though rooms do not have that smell.

Don’t expect much
Upon arrival the lobby smelled like someone had been smoking all day. Our original room on the first floor had such a strong smoke smell that we asked to be moved to another room. We could hear people walking around all night and that room smelled as well. We were using the room to start in the area for a softball tournament but after we realized that we would not get rest, decided to just pack up at 4am and go somewhere more comfortable.

We booked here as it was close to the airport, on arrival late in the evening they simply said they were full and sent us to another location much further away and not as convenient without so much as an apology. Bait and Switch, get you to pay more for the desirable location and then not honour it. Avoid this hotel.

This is a really, really old premises. Every fixture in the place: the windows, the flooring, the curtains, the bedding, the bathtub, the sink, the toilet, the door, the heating/air conditioning plant need to be replaced. They all show their age and in many cases aren't working. I had no heat for example. Cold air was blowing through the non existent weather stripping of the door. The bathtub had a liner in it and it was obvious water had leaked behind the liner and as a result there was a slippery water bubble underneath your feet as you stood in the shower (dangerous). In the dining room, I saw where the ceiling had water damage and was peeling. Who knows what mold lies in the concealed ceiling and wall areas. The whole complex should be bull dozed over and rebuilt!

We have used comfort inn and suites exclusively for about 12 years now. On arrival there were no carts to use for luggage. The front desk guy sniffed consistently like his nose was running. Room number was given to me on a post it note. No offer to even take luggage was given. They didn’t ask me for ID or anything. Place is run down. Trash and linens were in hallway. The housekeeper the next morning helped me carry luggage into elevator. Just not what we were used to at Comfort Inn and Suites.

Paid for certain room, got there and staff changed it to different type. Walking in room felt like 70-80s no updates including bed, sunk as soon as I layer down and bed made noise very turn I made. Wouldn’t stay here again, not worth what I paid for, great location but terrible rooms

The room was comfortable and pleasant. There was a good selection at breakfast. The fact that the shuttle does not run between 10.00pm and 7.00am is ridiculous and cost us a lot of money in transportation.

Better than some reviews led me to believe
A flight delay caused me to miss my connection in Washington and end up needing to spend a night in a hotel. The line to get a free hotel from the airline was very long and not moving at all. I went in hotels.com and found the Comfort Inn for around $100 and felt it was worth the Miney to get out of line at get some sleep after 12 hours on planes and in airports. I booked a King bed. When I got to the hotel, it was t available so they put me in a room with 2 doubles. It was all the same to me, but they should update their availability on hotels.com rather than risking upsetting a future customer.
The hotel is very outdated. They kind of outdated that looks dirty no matter how much you clean. The bathroom in my room was spotless. The carpet in the room had spots if something hard that probably can never be removed.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There was a free continental breakfast, which was very well stocked. The free shuttle ride left on time.
While I would not opt to stay in this hotel again, the service was solid and it was clean in places where it showed, like the bathroom.

This is your basic motel space for a short visit to the DC area. Nothing fancy, but clean, staff are helpful. I've stayed there twice. Short walk to fast food.

This property is worn and dirty. I stayed a week and it was obvious the hallways were not vacuumed the entire 6 days I stayed. Elevator had same food crumbs in corners for 2 days. Bedroom carpet felt sticky and needs deep clean. Trash in front of entrance. Two vehicles in disrepair were parked near entrance (one without a wheel). Not good.

There were carpet stains all over the place - walkways, rooms, everywhere!!! We'd booked for two rooms and had asked for adjacent rooms - a couple of weeks in advance - not only was the request not honored, the front desk person was rude!!! Not staying here again!

The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a couch in the room to sit on while not in bed.
The carpets were dirty in the room and hallways. The bar sink was slow draining, the bathroom sink was cracked, and the refrigerator needed to be defrosted. It was really bad!
Parking was convenient. It was next to Hyatt Place and a Sheetz gas station.

Convenient to Dulles Airport. No "walkable" restaurants (but there was a food truck parked nearby which helped). Could not get on WiFi (may have been a problem with my laptop). Strong cigarette odor in hallway. Very quiet. Room very small but clean, well designed. Easy and fast check-in and check-out.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Filth, Lazy Staff, Safety
DO NOT STAY HERE! I was here 4 nights from Friday, May 27th through Tuesday, May 31st. Look at the first 2 images attached. Yes, that's various areas of the shower curtain (more stains inside). Literally was the color of feces. It is Saturday morning when I discovered this and everything is unpacked. I go down to the front desk at 8:30 am Saturday. I ask for the manager. Oh there is no manager on duty today. A big red flag. Memorial Day weekend is the 5th most traveled time of the year behind Fridays in Summer, Day Before Thanksgiving, July 4th, and Christmas. Why is there no manager or assistant manager during check-in and check-out hours? This is the hospitality industry, not the bank or post office where you work a Monday to Friday job. So then the staff member questions if I want to change rooms. This is not an unresolvable item like noisy neighbors or plumbing issues. This is a shower curtain. Signs of laziness - let's just move him around until we can appease him! No, fix the issue! So then he says it will be fixed that day. I am out of the room from 8:30am to 12:30am Sunday. Plenty of time! Was it fixed? Of course not! I tell a housekeeper directly Sunday. Not fixed! Next, you see those other 2 pictures? Elevator malfunctioned Sunday morning and so I took the stairs just to find the side door propped open when it specifically states it must be closed at all times. That is a safety violation, but they of course don't care. DON'T STAY HERE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Check-in was good. They’re Wi-Fi connection was good. Sausages and potatoes for hot items plus make your own waffles at breakfast. The carpet right under the HVAC unit was wet. No microwave but there is mini-frig. Two tiles badly cracked but not so where you could injure yourself. The Naugahyde vinyl on the seat was all worn away. Throw it away and replace why don’t you? Had some takeout and threw containers in the trash bins and after several hours…ants! I’ve never in my life experienced ants in a hotel to this degree and we are mindful to cleanup after ourselves. Mgmt better take note and have an exterminator take care of #224 or that floor will be destroyed permanently. I hold Comfort Inn to a higher standard and this location does not meet expectations.

when we reached at about 11 pm, they assigned us a room which was not even clean. It took them few more minutes before they could find a clean room. There was not a single word of apology. In the morning the breakfast was okay, there was no pastries or muffins. At about 7.30 something went wrong and the elevator stopped working. Since it was a single elevator my old mother in law could not just walk down the stairs and we had to prepare her breakfast and bring it up to her. The Elevator was not fixed till we left which was till 10 am. The Elevator was also dirty and had a lot of gooey stains.

Skip staying here. Dirty and uncared for facilities and rooms. Even elevator floor was dirty. Uneven air conditioning. Shuttle didn't start to 7am so had to get a cab. Large room for $$ if you do not care where you stay or cleanliness of facility.

This facelift is not well maintained. Starting from front desk to the Walkway to the rooms. Has a very muggy smell like it has not been cleaned for a while. Carpet is full of stain and dirty.

Nice stay
Room was very clean. Furniture was not modern an new, but was very clean and convenient. Hallways were clean, but some passengers had left their trash bags outside and nobody mentioned them to keep that bags in room until housekeeping staff take care.
My neighbor's room seemed to be using grass. I think this should be avoided in the hotel room.

First room that I was assigned had the smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, beeping like the battery was dead. The carpet throughout the property was stained badly. The tv did not have a signal for the local DC tv station that had the nfl playoff game on......

Best affordable hotel I’ve stayed in and so close to the airport! I was from my room, checkout, economy parking, checked my bag, and through security at Dulles in less than an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was simple and clean. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!

At check in was given not one but two dirty rooms, front desk attendant had to send the driver of shuttle bus to see what rooms were clean because the hotel computer said rooms were clean that were not. The door trade on the rooms need replacement we had to try swiping several times and ways before the door would open. The breakfast bar was nice with a good selection of hot and cold choices. The staff was nice and helpful. The condition of hotel could do from some upgrades. All in all I would stay again for the low price and vicinity to airport. Airport shuttle ruins every half hour on the hour and half hour and was very convenient.

Desperately in need of a good cleaning
The carpets in both the room and the public area were filthy. Beds were clean, but missing a top sheet. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast options.

Overall the hotel was dirty. When you walked into the building it smelled like smoke. The elevator had sticky stains on the floor that never got cleaned the 2 days we were there. The hotel room smelled like fresh cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. There were burn holes in the window seat cushion and all other cloth seats had stains on them. We avoided all cushioned surfaces except the bed. The mini fridge was frozen on day one, after adjusting nothing it was broken and the floor was soaked on day 2. Overall I was not impressed with the hotel. I wasn’t expecting anything super nice at this price point but I did expect clean and working.

I would not stay here again. Every staff member that I encountered was friendly and helpful. However, the room itself was very disappointing. There was a stray hair or two on the bedding, and I saw several stray hairs in the bathroom. There were several areas of the room where dust was gathered. The room had a window seat. The cushion on that seat had a nasty looking stain, as did the curtains. This hotel could use a lot of updates!

Shuttle service - waited 45 mins or more for shuttle from airport - had to re call hotel for pickup from airport - they said they had already picked me up from airport - not - I was still there waiting - they sent out shuttle again - had seen shuttle service from other hotels make multiple trips back before I got picked up by your shuttle
