The couch in the living room was itchy and something bitted when I sat in the couch during my stay for bugs or ticks, causing my skin to swell. My nephews and I have been through these pains, and the quality of the sampoos and conditioners in the bathroom is so bad that I am suffering from hair loss after my trip

Good territory, but super crowded. They do not have and identification for the Holton guests, so all pools are full of random people. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The staff are all nice and accommodating. I love how they maintain the place clean and how they provide all the needs in our room. The parking is just expensive and check out time is early. But thankful that they let us check-in earlier as soon as our room got cleaned.

We loved our stay at th Grand Waikian. The staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a 2 bdrm which was nice. The rooms were a nice size and we loved having a full size kitchen. We had a paartial oceanview room Our only was that the second room had another king bed. As a family of 6 having 2 double sized beds would have been more suitable for our needs. The room was a good size We loved The walk to the beach amd shopping village was short and

The rooms are spacious and the location are views are breathtaking. But the facilities and staff left a lot to be desired.
- We reached on a chilly day. The rooms have no heating and there are no space heaters.
- First morning there was no hot water. Took multiple calls with maintenance to get an update on repair.
- Elevators are always backed up and there is a queue during peak hours. We had to budget 5-10 minutes extra to just to get from our room to the lobby.
- Our bathroom had a slight but distinct sewer smell.
Overall communication with the staff was a bit poor and showed a lack of care on their part. I will look for a different property for our next Honolulu vacation.

we had a wonderful time during our stay. We had a beautiful ocean view. Our room had two bedrooms and a pull out bed, which fit our family of six. The kitchen and washer/dryer was nice to have. The Hilton village had a variety of restaurants and shops so we didn’t have to go far when we needed a quick bite to eat or needed to grab something from the grocery store. Everything was easily accessible.

Not recommended if you are looking to relax
Chose the Hilton Grand since we needed a room and a hotel that could accommodate our family's needs (washer dryer in the room and any pools for the baby). While the room and service were very good. we couldn't really relax during this vacation. The hotel is just MASSIVE. So many rooms all going to the 5 pools on the premises. The pools just couldn't contain the amount of guests. Pools were overflowing with people and not even one umbrella to protect them from the sun. This isn't something you expect from a Hilton (On the private beach they charged a whopping 40$ for an umbrella and chair). I would not recommend going to this hotel not for relaxing and not for anything else (since it is also a bit far from Waikiki Central)

Restaurants were good...oceanfront restaurant was the best! Food, drinks and service amazing! But expensive. We loved the comfortable bed and squirt toilet! We didn't even leave Property it's like its own city

This is an excellent hotel. Our room was spacious and we were happy to have a full kitchen. The hotel is immaculate, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are multiple Hiltons all at this location all feeding to the same pools. The pools were crowded and not pleasant or restful. Luckily, the lagoon is outstanding! It’s, very large, perfect temperature water — not crowded at all. We love the lagoon. We recommend this hotel, but not if you want restful pool time.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The pools/lagoon/beach kept my baby entertained the whole trip, and we especially loved gathering with the other guests at the lagoon for fireworks.

We are a family of 5 with teenagers and stayed in a 2 bedroom at the Grand Waikikian and it was excellent! The hotel and grounds were impeccable. Everything was so convenient! No matter what you were looking for - shopping, dining and beach - it was all walkable and had many different options. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to others 10/10

Excellent rooms. Love the washer and dryer and extra rooms. And the pools close by. Not sure about the Hawaiian shows they have. We went to Polynesian cultural center to see the breath of ha. Excellent show. We've lived in Hawaii so we know the best shows.

I loved everything about the property. I only didn’t like the expensive parking, $60 a day. There’s no way to sugar coat that, after we paid well over 5k for our bedroom suite.

We were in a 2 bedroom suite. I requested a double bed instead of king but they were not able to fulfill so the kids had to sleep on the sofa bed which was not comfortable. The airflow was terrible in one of the rooms. Because there was only one control, one room was super cold while the other was so stuffy. 2 out of the 3 outlets in the kitchen did not work so we had to put the microwave on top of the stove in order to use it. Housekeeping came everyday but only refilled toiletry some days. All in all, I expected more for the price. The pool was nice and had 2 slides but not sure why only 1 slide was open at a time for like 3 hours a day (not sure why they can’t put one more person to man the slides). Location is great and right next to the lagoon where the kids practiced snorkelling and lots of 🐟 at the lagoon.

Unfortunately, the disappointing service at the end of our trip left a sour taste in our mouths. I had called in before check-in notifying of a change in plans (due to Westjet's cancellation of our flights). I had mentioned that we were going to need late check out for the last day. The person on the call acknowledged this, so of course when the last day came around, the front desk did not have a record of this, saying "it was requested not approved" - so who's responsibility is this? Then proceeded to (rudely) push us to vacate as soon as possible. I'm sure I'm not the only person that's ever requested a late check out. No instructions on their in-room instructions. Better procedures needed!!!

Its clean. But area is very big and has an atmosphere of overcrowded. If a situation happens you cannot easily get someone to help out. Door locks are not charged and a staff so busy attending to incoming guests does not want to take responsibility of holding luggages in the bell counter for a few minutes during my check out while I go back up to help my family carry out some stuff.

Great resort fees high but worth it.
The condo room was clean, with a soaking tub in the bedroom. The full kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a meal for your self and family. The view from the 24th floor was awesome. Resort has limited parking at 45$ + parking and the resort fee is a but high. That said you will not find a better resort.

Beautiful area. The Hilton complex is huge-but it’s easy to get around. Staff is super helpful and the rooms and facilities are clean. Be prepared-everything is expensive. Wish the parking fees weren’t so high ($57 per day). You don’t get much for the daily resort fee-but hey-you’re in Waikiki!

Great rooms but pricey daily charges
It was nice! We got the room we booked, it was clean and well kept daily and very cozy. I loved having the full kitchen and sitting area. But some things felt like a cash grab/rip off like WiFi access being $40 per day for only 2 devices, or the tv selections bering very limited with other rental options being a pricey extra charge. Other than those features, it was a very pleasant stay

Great stay huge two bedroom suite a lil disappointed it wasn’t beach front thought they pictures showed beach front. I had ocean view but from a far. Location great and had a lot of shopping and restaurants in the “village” if I go back again I would not rent a car as it’s $60 a day and we only used it half of the time.
Beach was okay it was busy and rocky so bring your water shoes. I’m used to the Caribbean powder soft sand. But of course Hawaii is different.

Waikikian Tower is the farthest of all towers from the beach in Hilton Hawaiian Village (HHV), but it is well maintained property.
We enjoyed staying in HHV as itself represents a small town like structure where we find different shops, dining options, best of all is walkable to the beach.
One thing we came to know with our stay in Waikikian Tower is there is difference between beach view vs beach front room. We were in beach view room, but since this tower is the farthest of all you can see the beach from the patio but you don’t feel being in the front of the beach as other towers are in between. Overall we had a good experience

The hotel and the whole resort was very beautiful. The pools and close access to the beach was definitely worth it. The registration staffer that helped me was not very friendly. I fist declined daily housekeeping but I asked if I can request housekeeping if I need it, he just said, housekeeping will be on this day. Didn’t even answer my question! His tone was a bit condescending too so I was a little miffed. The bell staff was more than pleasant. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone else was just not happy. I like the texting part to request whatever I needed. It’s a bit odd that no staff acknowledge or say hello when you walk around the property. The staff mostly ignore the guests. Not so much as a smile to acknowledge you’re there. But overall a pleasant stay minus the registration part. I think if the staffs were more friendly then it will take this experience more happy.

Family of 4 stayed in a 1bed suite which city view in April 2022. Not following why the soaking tub was in the bedroom but otherwise accommodations was adequate, clean and updated. Kitchen was fully appointed so I was able to cook several meals and the dishwasher and in suite laundry worked well.
Rooms were serviced only once during the week so we placed numerous calls to housekeeping and they were always prompt in responding to our requests.
The balcony was not my favorite place because of the noise but the husband and kids didn't mind using it. I would have preferred an ocean view but not sure if the noise factor would have been better.
My main gripe was that there were supposed to be "cultural" and other activities provided, hence the resort fee. Its disappointing that nothing was offered during our stay.
We have visited Oahu several times and always stayed at the Disney resort on the west side. With the kids being older we thought we'd give Waikiki a try but the Hilton resort left us wanting more for the price we paid.
Really great beach is a good 10 minute walk from the tower we stayed in. Hotel provides beach towels. Surpringly the hotel pool closes at 6pm!
The location is great if your goal is stay where you can explore Waikiki on foot and if you only need a base to sleep, this is the place (albeit overpriced). Even though the kids are older if we visit Oahu again we'll stay at the Disney resort since we always rent a car.

My family went to Honolulu March 2022. The accommodations were very nice & handicap accessible. We stayed in a 2-bedroom Oceanview suite with a full kitchen. It was very pleasant waking up to the view of the ocean. Additionally, there is an area to rest if you need to wait for your flight and you have checked out of your room. The agents were very informative and kind.

The room floors are tired, carpet dirty. The rice cooker in the room was not working. Valet service was not available. Regular cleaning not available (only scheduled on the the 4th day on a 6-night stay), so we would always need to request everyday for towels and other needs. TV was annoying, it would not work sometimes. The door on one of the bathrooms never locks fully. TV/Entertainment system appear ancient, have to access netflix thru a PS3 or rent DVD/movie/games from a kiosk downstairs. Beach amenities are expensive. Very strict rules in pool area (loud music not allowed, throwing/playing small balls in pool not allowed, etc.). 10AM checkout seems early than the standard 11AM checkout. Parking garage appear dated, smelly, and the signs are confusing. Painted signs on the floor are sometimes incorrect (some will say two way but it’s only one way, some would say left and right turn allowed but sign on the ceiling would say right/left turn not allowed). There are no sign on lobby/2nd floor that parking is accessible. For 2 days, we would always park on the 3rd floor, take parking elevator to the main floor then guest elevator….only to find out later that there is a unmarked door/way on the 2nd floor to access garage. For the price, we will never stay here again.

First Hawaii trip
This was our first time in Hawaii and loved it! The hotel is beautiful and well kept, and very clean. The staff were great except for one bad apple that had the worst attitude. I had called a week before checking in because we had a question about check in and she was just truly an angry person, but other then her upon check in the lady ( wish I remembered her name ) that checked us in and every staff member was amazing in person. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite with fully equipped kitchen, the view was perfect and the beds were comfortable.
The kids had a great time at the pool with the slides, but beware it gets very crowded so be early to get a spot to sit. The lagoon was fun too but to rent their umbrellas and chairs, paddle boards etc. are very pricey. Of course, it’s expected it’s Hawaii. Overall, had a great time and well worth it. We will be back again.

The suite was spacious and the balconies were great. But there was constant noise above us all day everyday , early in the morning, a night , the sound of heavy wooden dining room chairs being pushed away from tables repeatedly. There was NO HOUSe KEEPING. Ouch! You pay $67 a day to park your car, plus resort fees, and no house keeping. You have to reserve them and they are already all booked out with no availability, and they do not work on Thursdays and Fridays. The pools were DIRTY and crowded, nowhere to sit. If you want a chair on the beach, that requires an all day rental. Would not stay here again, too dirty, and crowded, with no incentive, for that much money I’d stay elsewhere.

Our two bedroom room was very dirty even when we checked in. Found old wrappers under the fridge. The bathroom toilet had previous urine stains on it. The shower door was streaked with old water. And we had to rewash all the pots and pans
The paradise pools is fun. The other pools were freezing cold and impossible to swim in. We ordered drinks and there was no or little alcohol in them. Even when I nicely told the server about it she said that there was alcohol and I couldn't taste it. Very poor service and very dirty room. My family will ever stay at any Hilton property again

The resort was very nice. Lots of stuff to do and places to eat. By biggest complaints are the parking is $60 a night and there are no alternatives so if u have a car they got you. And on one of our days there they were doing water maintenance so they shut the water off from 9a-2p which when traveling with kids not having the ability to go back to a fully functioning room is a major inconvenience and when brought up to a staff member I was just told to go do something during those hours so not very helpful

I like how everyone is mostly wearing a mask and social distancing in the common areas.I really liked how there was a washer and dryer. We disliked how crowded the pool is. I think having guests make an appointment for the pool would be awesome!

The 2bdrm was great. Had a full kitchen, washer & dryer and stocked with all the dishes/pots needed. Strongly didn’t want to pay the parking per day fee but honestly there is no where to park in the island close to downtown. So you pay for convenience! The property has everything one would need. Great coffee, food, shopping and leisure via pools & beach. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful property. Loved having the suite with the full kitchen- it was plenty spacious for a family of 5. We didn’t mind not having house keeping daily but we had to call someone to collect our trash a couple times and to get fresh towels mid week. Since it’s part of the Hilton village we had to walk to another hotel to work out and was a very small room considering that this was the only facility for multiple hotels in the village. And due to the pandemic only a handful of people were allowed in at one time (despite every other cardio machine being blocked off). Pools were super crowded and shared by all hotels so we went to the beach instead.
There was a really nice upscale outdoor shopping center in the Hilton village with good food options, convenience store was nice too. We felt like this was a good central location, easy walk to downtown and the beach out the back door of the hotel, but very busy so you might want to pick another side of the island if you want serene and not a lot of people. Hawaiian luau’s we’re crazy expensive and were all booked for weeks before our stay. But after seeing one at our hotel we were glad we saved hundreds of dollars. We were able to arrange for an island tour (seat turtle snorkeling) and a catamaran outing- blast. The concierge was MIA at the hotel which was a bummer. It was the pandemic but it was during the summer and I feel like we should have been able to call someone when we needed advice on dining or planning adventures.

Excellent resort. Terrific location. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Village was cool. Things that could be better ... Bathroom sink faucet hangs well into the sink, making it a bit hard to wash one's face ... They only provide coffee in self-contained filters, so if you want other coffee, you need to buy coffee filters ... No decaf coffee provided ... No laundry detergent provided ... Daily "resort fee," which I know most places charge, is just one more bogus way to reach into your wallet or pocketbook.

Great value and excellent room. It felt like we ahd our own apartment in Waikiki. 2 bd 2 ba with kitchen and in-room laundry was an excellent set up. The hotel is huge with excellent amenities. We also love the cultural activities covered under the resort fees. At least we are getting somethIng out of it you know? Will stay again.

My family and I got stranded in Maui so we were going to be checking in a day later. Grateful for the Grand Waikikian staff for being so understanding and make sure our room was ready before we arrived. When we arrived the next morning than we originally planned, our room was ready for us to go right into. When we arrived in our room, we were so happy. The room was spacious and clean, we had a great view. It was exactly what we expected. Overall, check in and check out was fast, room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was not an issue at all.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Waikikian. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The room and the ocean view were outstanding. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. At night, you could faintly hear the traffic outside, but it really wasn't bothersome. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer in the room. We didn't use the pool during our stay as it was always busy and we could never find a place to sit. The beach was close by so we spent out time there instead. Shopping at night was fun and lively.

The rooms were nice, but this hotel was so crowded. It was impossible to get a seat at the pool, and lines to elevator were long. Also, minimal housekeeping. Will not stay here again.
