Pleasantly surprised
Spent three days at the Quality Inn, the rooms were clean, comfortable, well supplied. Hotel staff, especially the front desk where especially accommodating. Was pleasantly surprised with the complimentary breakfast which had a wonderful variety of choices to eat. Cost was reasonable so we actually added an extra day to our stay. Good value for a good price would highly recommend

Good for spring/fall - not as good summer/winter
The first room I was in had the smoke detector chirping every 30 seconds, so the staff moved me to another room. The heating system was inadequate: it was a freezing day and with the heat turned on full, after 3 hours I was still shivering. I had to sleep under the linens from both beds, fully dressed.
The staff was friendly and responsive, but the climate control was a problem.

Nice clean rooms and property. Lovely woman at check in on 1/11/24 and on my way back booked another night stay 1/14/24 and another pleasant check in with Brandon he also went above and beyond to fix the cable connection on my TV. The continental breakfast was nice . Thank you for a lovely stay.

This place was really an upgrade from most of the budget facilities I've frequented. Nice people, safe location, upscale bedding and sheets, clean fridge and microwave. Highly recommended.

Ils nous ont donner une chambre handicapé. Bien car grande, mais la douche ( pas de baignoire) était en tuile, directement sur le plancher de salle de baIn devant la toilette.
Les tuiles etaient tres sales.
Les matelas ne sont pas confos.
Personnel amical. Chambre pas cher. Pres de la 95. Accepte les chiens pour 15$ sup.

Not a great stay. Needs Improvements.
Upon checking in, there was a black hair on the bathroom floor and on one of the beds (I am blonde), the desk was filthy and I had to wipe it down, and I asked the reception attendant kindly, if possible, if it wasn't too busy if no one could be checked in next to me, as I am a light sleeper. He said he would "see what he can do", but within a half hour, people were checked in on both sides of me. There were other spare rooms all on the upper floors and on the main floor, so it felt like a slight against me. I told management about it, but it is like they did nothing about it. I was there for 4 nights, and all nights I had people checked in next to me, including noisy dogs. I am not a fan of the pet friendly rooms, and think that if you are going to offer that, that ALL of the pet rooms should be on one side of the hotel, NOT "mixed in" with regular rooms. Not everyone likes noisy dogs, and some of us have pet allergies, so they should really make sections of the hotel (one side) for pets and the other not. Also, the tv quality was "grainy", almost like a 1980s tv.

All rooms are entered from outside; if I had realized this, I would have paid a few more bucks and wouldn't have stayed there.
Heating system is on/off/high etc.. You can't set heat for a specific temperature.
It's also over 4 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, on the opposite side of I-95, not as close as I was led to believe.
Staff seems to be very good, however.

We need a spot for a last minute overnight stay, what a great find! Conveniently located for travel and downtown Fredericksburg. It was a non-smoking room that didn't smell like somebody smoked in it before!!
The beds were comfortable, sheets were fresh and clean, bathroom was spotless, woman at front desk was kind and professional. It was without a doubt the quietest motel we've ever stayed in! We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect for us
This was perfect. It was clean, and I pulled my car right up to my door. Breakfast was good and even had something my daughter with Celiac could eat. I also appreciated the cute little table decorations. It is obvious that the management and owner care about the property. Well done!

Nice hotel conveniently located
Very nice and clean place. Had everything we needed for the evening and conveniently located. The linens were great quality, however; the beds were not. It felt like you were sleeping on the box springs! Other than that, no complaints.

I arrived at the hotel and they did not have my reservation. I had an itinerary number from Expedia and it did not match anything they had thankfully they had a room for us and I was hoping that I'm not double charged. Not impressed with Expedia very impressed with the Quality Inn.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms appear to be have been renovated recently and ours was very nice. It was clean and very comfortable for our overnight stay. The motel is conveniently located right off I95 and we had plenty of room to park our truck & camper. When finding parking for a truck and 37 foot trailer, it's imperative to have a parking lot that allows you to drive around the building. We would definitely stay again.

Overall it was a good experience. Rooms were clean, no smell. Beds were decent. There are many food options nearby. The only thing negative i will say is i booked through expedia and when i arrived i was asked to swipe my card to pay which is notmal for me, i always choose pay at property option. I was charged 2 times for the price of the room. Once on each of my bank accounts. They charged me for the room that was on file with expedia and they asked me to pay for my room when i arrived. I am still waiting for one of the payments to be reversed. I spoke to expedia and it had nothing to do with them, it was on the hotels end.

Despite telling them I needed a rollaway when I booked it, they didn’t notify me that they don’t have any. They also had no extra linens when I requested another blanket because the room was so cold. The bathroom was also dirty. Needless to say, we won’t be staying there again!

We were moved from our first room because of the terrible smell; it smelled like old cigarette smoke and cat urine. The second room had an odor but nothing like the first room. The staff was friendly and accommodating but I can’t recommend this place to others.

A little disappointing
Motel could definitely use some renovations as it is a little run down. The property is clean but we were awakened a couple of times by large trucks in the parking lot.
Our bed was like a hammock. When we got on the bed, we both rolled into the middle. I don't expect much when I stay at cheaper motels. I just want a decent bed and a place to shower.
Breakfast was very basic... selection was disappointing.

We liked the convenient location which was also very quiet, the fact that we could park right outside our room for moving luggage, and walking our dog. We found the beds extremely comfortable and the quilts luxurious, and the bath/sink area very accommodating with shampoo etc. in the morning a staff member was kind enough to replenish the shampoo and conditioner my husband has used up so I could wash my hair as well. Breakfast had many healthful options. The only minus we could come up with was the coffee- not unique by any means.We absolutely plan to stay again.

Hotel was quiet. We arrived past midnight and the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant to speak to. Room was clean. The AC unit was a bit noisy but tolerable. Rate was perfect. Hotel is easy access to I-95. We’ll be back again.

the bed was very old. Springs were popping every time you moved. The bathroom was dated as well as the entire place but was clean. The numbers on the room were so small and unlit that you had to get out of the car to see them. the continental breakfast wasn’t great but palitable.

Kings dominion and beyond trip
Was perfect for what we needed.. was quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Near cool Fredericksburg sites. 40 mins from kings dominion theme park. Breakfast was just fine for what it was. Did the trick. Easy check in and out. Smooth.

The light from the hotel next door made it impossible for our room to be dark, despite curtains. It was a very noisy location as well so not much sleep.

It was a pleasant room, any questions about smoke smell in room false I believe it could be a lemon bleach cleaner or air fresh smell. Just put the bathroom fan on and it goes away. Would stay again recommend to to friends.
