Lighting in the seating area wasn't quite conducive/bright enough for working at night (3201). Suprised to see mildew/mold where shower door meets wall, some dusty baseboards, not quite the 4 season level of cleanliness I'd expect. Pool/area and spa were great, restaurant as well.

We had the most incredible stay at the Four Seasons Chicago. The staff, service, dining and spa were simply impeccable. As part of our extended honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly magical, including sending up a complimentary bottle of champagne and strawberries for us to enjoy in our room. We will definitely stay at this beautiful property again in the near future. Thank you, Four Seasons Chicago!

Disappointing
I’ve stayed at this four season and many others, and this trip was disappointing. Several mistakes, oversights, and incorrect orders. And the amenities are overly congested, elevator was broken, steam room was not clean, spa showers had broken shelves — not the four season level.

This Four Seasons stay did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and friendly, our room was clean and as advertised, and the location was incredibly walkable to restaurants, tourist attractions, shopping, etc. We would definitely stay here again. A+, Four Seasons! A+.

Bathroom products were not very good. Smell like Pooh. No turn down service and less “amenities” than expected from a four seasons property. The restaurant was not up to par compared to other four seasons and I found the dj in the lobby kinda off center to the whole experience. Other than that we had an amazing time and would surly return . Thanks

My Husband And I Loved Everything About This Beautiful Four Seasons Chicago Property!! We Were Treated So Well From The Valet To Front Desk To Room Keepers To The Whole Staff, The Employees Are So Kind And Very Helpful!! The Property Is Very Classy, Clean, And The Lake And City Views Are Breathtaking!! The Property Is Centrally Located So Lots Of Dining Shopping And Events Within Walking Distance Or Short Uber Drive. The Four Seasons Chicago Is A Great Choice For Your Stay In Downtown Chicago, We Would Highly Recommend This Property And We Can’t Wait To Visit Here Again!

The family friendly amenities on the website were not accurate. There was no “treasure chest” at check-in, no cute tent like on the website. We were simply handed a toy. Disappointed. We won’t be back.

So we booked the four seasons Chicago as an extended honeymoon following staying at the maui and Los angeles locations on arrival there was a few hiccups and the way the four seasons and David the front desk manager went above and beyond to rectify the hiccups was amazing a massive huge thanks, I have stayed at few other 5 star hotels and none come even close to the customer service that is provided to ensure you have a great stay.
Again totally blown away in the best way by the way we where treated.

First off, the staff are absolutely wonderful. The public rooms are fine. Pool and spa are fine. I was disappointed in the room which I felt was far from what I expect from the Four Seasons and esp. for the price. To be fair it did have great pillows, bed, etc. but truly nothing special (again, for the price). The bathroom needed a little love however. I don't think I'd stay here again. For the price I'd probably stay at the Peninsula Chicago instead.

For a Four Seasons hotel, I found it very average. Pool was ok but closed at 10 PM on a Friday night. Service was average, nothing you wouldn't have received at any other hotel. The biggest complaint I have is the parking situation. I could not find the valet stand, even asked a few other parking attendants. Instead, I parked in the shopping center structure. When I checked in, the front desk clerk said I should go back to my car (which was parked on the 10th floor of the garage), get my parking ticket, go back to the mall and spend $10 somewhere, get my ticket validated, go back to my car and drive it all the way around and then have the valet park my car. I ended up spending $53 to park overnight but I'm not sure I wouldn't have spent that much had I valet parked if you include tips. Just overall average, not bad but nothing special.

Bath products looked like they had been used by previous room guest. Plastic razor blade cover found in shower. Rings on nightstand from previous guest. Overall it looked like the room had not be properly cleaned but we had a late arrival with children so we couldn’t be troubled to move.

This hotel was fantastic! The service was excellent - everyone was really friendly, and the room itself had a beautiful view of the lake and was very clean. Only two points of constructive feedback - the rooms are a bit dated and showing wear and tear - would be great for them to renovate soon. Also wish there was a way to tip the valet team instead of using cash. Most people don't carry cash anymore, so having a way to tip via Venmo or QR code would have been nice.

Front desk lady (short blonde) had a less than helpful attitude.
Arrived at 8:30pm and my room wasnt ready. Got an "upgrade" with a city view vs the lake view that I had booked.
Other than that, Adeline (concierge) was awesome and the hotel's facility is pretty good.
Great location.
Would choose another hotel next time, just to get to know something different. Waldorf...

This Four Seasons Hotel has become our home away from home. It is our "Happy Place" where we come to put it all behind us and to truly relax. And definitely get a massage if you stay there. They have an excellent staff!

For as lovely hotel as the property is, various sersvice elements were disappointing during our stay. A room service tray was removed from one of our two rooms and placed in the hallway and remained there until we checked out the following day. Bar closed at 11 pm, despite it being very busy. Requested 2 separate invoices for the 2 rooms we booked and front desk said they would email, since the 2nd room was checking out later in the day. Two weeks later, they still are unable to provide and in fact, have double billed us, despite multiple emails.

I was fined the sum of 1,630. I do not know why this is Exeter for my payment for the room, which is 1,766 in one night. I have no objection to the value of one night, but my objection to the withdrawal from the bank card is an additional amount, which is 1,630. And I told them on the reception this topic. They told me we apologize for this mistake and we will return the amount to you tomorrow and I have two days and they did not reply to me

Weekend get away with husband. First time at this hotel in Chicago. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do-shopping, theatre, restaurants, and relaxing. When we checked in I mentioned being a Gold Expedia member but they did not offer perks. They did offer a discount for an upgraded room which we accepted for the extra space. The room was nice with great views of city and Lake Michigan!! I did, however, have issues with bathroom. The tub was not working properly. The water was also an issue the last night of stay- only hot water even the toilet. We had cocktails and snacks at the bar which was good. Service was excellent throughout!!! The pool seemed smaller versus photos and even though heated was somewhat chilly. We were extremely disappointed that the hot tub was closed off as it was one of the main reason for picking the hotel. Nothing on Expedia or their website indicated that it was closed. You have the option of valet or self parking at a lower rate with access to building on 8th floor deck. Overall,it was a wonderful experience and loved how everything was within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is one of the nicest I have stayed at. The location is ideal to water and beaches, restaurants and sites. We walked almost everywhere from here to all museums except Science and Industry. It has amazing service and the view from our suite on 45th floor was gorgeous. I cannot say enough about service, and food quality. Definitely deserves 5 star rating on all metrics
