Solid place . Had a pub attached. Out dated but clean. Best hot water and water pressure I’ve ever encountered. Decent price for Chicago area . I’d make it my go to while traveling east coast to west.( every 4-6 months) Decent breakfast . yah I liked this place

I stayed here 2 nights and both rooms had tiny ants everywhere. I went to the front desk and switched rooms. Same problem. They should issue a can of Raid with every room.

We have stayed in this hotel in the past.. this time the conditions have changed for the worse. During our two night stay our room was not serviced. Not changing the sheets is not a problem but to not even add clean towels or EMPTY THE TRASH CANS, is not acceptable. The biggest issue was the room had ANTS. We told the front desk and NOTHING was addressed. Vacuum the room may have helped. Put down ant traps. Nothing was done. To add to the lack of service was the lack of attention from front desk personnel who seemed like we were just a problem when in fact we were just asking to not sleep in an area infested with ants. We always stay at Choice properties and past could count on a stay of good quality. Not in this case. I’m very disappointed and I will definitely not return and I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

It's in a great location off of Rts. 80 and 47. It was quiet and the room was clean. The bedding was very comfortable. The only negative was a slow tub drain. One of my peeves...

we got there and the RUDE,NASTY person at the desk said we didn't have a reservation and just gave us a dirty look ' Ask if she had a bathroom we could use she yelled NO. So here I'm in morris and no place to stay. Good thing Hoilday Inn had a room for us, I will never stay at a Quailty Inn

Standard quality inn. Clean room, comfortable king size bed. Limited fruit for breakfast; have raison bran and refrigerated breakfast sandwich heated up in microwave. Quiet.

Has seen better days
The staff was great, however the room was dusty even filthy in places, bathroom had hair everywhere in it, a/c and heat did not work. Walls cracked. Worn out hotel needs TLC.

Our stay was less than favorable a few examples our room is not clean the next day until 7:00 at night the phone in our room did not work we reported it was never fixed while we were there they had a fire alarm go off while they were preparing breakfast one morning at 5:30 in the 5:30 a.m. and woke up the entire hotel they had a special in their restaurant and it's 6:00 on the day of the special they ran out of the food it was not good

First, don't book this hotel from Expedia. They don't even offer the rooms that the site says they have. We booked a king and got 2 queens. Our stay was for 3 nights. The second day our room was never touched. Not cleaned, no new towels, nothing. When I talked to them, they said they had 40 checkouts and only 1 maid that day. The hallways are not air-conditioned and it's like a sauna on the second floor. The water pressure from the shower was fantastic. But the water didn't drain properly in the tub so it filled up with dirty shower water at your feet.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the shower. It really needs a good scrubbing. Also there was hair on the shower walls. I had reserved a handicapped accessible room and was told it must have been overbooked. I was unable to take a proper shower. We stayed 3 days. I had called a couple days before to make sure I had the room I needed. The bed was too high for me. My grandkids loved the pool.

Next store and close by were a few nice friendly restaurants. Chili's, IHOP, and some others I don't remember now.

This hotel needs to be refresh. Carpet smell real bad, curtains are « trash » and the air conditioning was very noisy…not a great experience.

Bkfst was a egg muffin sandwich you had to prepare in your room microwave. Taste was fine. Also 2 blueberry muffins. Also had a leak at bathroom lavatory.

Good place to stay when cycling the canal trail
This is a good stop if you are cycling the I and M Canal Trail. Clean and next door to an Italian food place. Only downside was the poor breakfast

The hotel seemed a little sketchy due to the people hanging around and the bar. The outside door into the hotel at the back of the property wasn’t secured so anyone could come in and wonder around. Also for being non-smoking the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke.
However the room we had was probably the cleanest room we had out of several places we stayed.

Nightmare in Morris
Check in was fast and friendly. Room horrible...or should I say rooms. Had to move 3 times because of large amount of ants. Eventually ended up in a room I didn't want just so we could sleep insect free. No breakfast as advertised. Never stayed here before and never will again.

You get what you pay for
Pretty run down place, not terribly clean, the walls seem pretty thin and I could my next door neighbor watching TV (even though it wasnt terribly loud).
There's a bar connected to it with a sign to enter at your own risk, because nobody there was wearing a mask. Not sure how that's legal, but whatever.
Do yourself a favor and pay a few more bucks to stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door.

Older hotel but clean and comfortable. One of the reasons I chose to stay at this hotel was because they stated that they had breakfast included in the stay. However they only offered cereal and sandwiches that could be picked up at the front desk…

Great Place
Very good experience. Staff were helpful and friendly and accommodating. The only issue I had was that my card key stopped working twice on the morning I checked out which was a slight inconvenience. Other than that it was just fine and I will happily return in the future.

Our stay wasn’t so pleasant.. the room looked clean but we had a spider in the bathroom and we brought left over pizza in and the next morning it was filled with ants.. it was disgusting!

We checked in at 530p went up to room not cleaned taljed to desk attendant and asked if we could get a room on first floor ir on on second floir near elevator as we were traveling with a handicapped person who uses walker and pushing it on carpet to ither wnd of building was exhausting for him they did not kniw tgat at time of reservation or check in. She than gave us a room in first floor however it was not cleaned and only had 1 bed my reservation asked for 2 beds. After rechecking availability we were guve a nice clean room next to elevator on second floor. We were grateful for the desk attendant. None of the hiccups were her fault, you need a better system for housekeeping to tell front desk when rooms are clean and ready for guests. We will stay there again .

When we arrived it took a few minutes to be acknowledged at the front desk. After receiving our keys we went to unload our luggage and brought it to the back door. The keys did not work. I had to walk all the way around the entire building back to the front desk. I waited at least 10 minutes for the person to come and help. He made new keys. They worked and we were able to get into the room. In the morning we went down for the advertised breakfast. At the front desk we were offered the choice of a prepackaged blueberry muffin or a premade breakfast sandwich that we had to heat in the microwave. The only beverage to drink was coffee which does not work for a noncoffee drinker. Even tea would have been nice. One of the reasons we chose Quality Inn because of the breakfast. We did stay in another Quality Inn along our way and it was far more superior than this one.

Our key card would NOT work on the first day. Every time we left and came back our key would not work. VERY frustrating. For whatever reason, the second day they decided to issue us 2 new key cards (same room) and they did work.
The ATM was out of service. The candy machine was not working correctly. My husband kept trying for those m&ms
So he ended up finally getting them for a total of approximately $4.00 because the machine was eating money. Room was clean though!

Good economical value, but card charge system for incidentals was down or arrival, and checking delayed waiting. Room 126 phone microphone not working, so one could hear the desk, but they couldn’t hear room. Breakfast was served in brown bag, but with room microwave, the heated cold egg, cheese and sausage sandwich heated on a napkin was actually quite tasty! (1:15 setting was perfect) All in all, a good value compared with other nearby hotels on Memorial Day weekend. Good hot coffee in the reception and live band restaurant adjoining.

Do not waste your money
Our stay was terrible first it said we had reserved more than one room then we get to the room and there's stains on the chair and ants crawling on the walls and it was all sticky behind the table where they were which was by the coffee pot making it even more disgusting. The curtains had something white splattered all over it. We were afraid to turn the air on because it looked as though there was mold growing on it

Had to wait an hour and a half AFTER check in for my room. Was told the room wasn’t available and then that it was just dirty. Then it took an hour to clean it. Couldn’t check out as there was no attendant. Waited 10 minutes and no one was at front desk. Room was also dirty. Blood and grime on the walls. Hotel bar was GREAT.

The morning attendant was soooo nice, I think his name was Mario. Otherwise everyone else did not like their job very much. I stayed almost a month working for a big company... 3rd shift so I had fallen asleep one morning and set my glass of juice on the nightstand next to the bed and fell asleep. When I woke there were hundreds of ants/clusters of them on the nightstand and glass. I had seen one or two in the bed prior but just brushed it off. When I told the attendant on staff (not Mario) she just said I’ll tell the owner. Nothing else was ever said.... no apology nothing. As a business owner myself I know this is subpar service. It wasn’t a terrible place to stay just don’t expect anyone to bend over backwards for you.

The staff were excellent, and the room was OK. The only issues I had were with the shower base which was pulled out of the wall and the bathroom vent, which was very dirty.
I pointed these issues out to the front desk staff who stated that they would correct the issues.

Good place for a quick stopover
We were traveling with a trailer and horses and were able to park right around back and just outside our window to keep an eye on everything. Room was clean. Lobby was well air conditioned - rest of the hallways were rather on the hot side. Comfortable and quiet.

Nice place to stay for the night. Fire alarm was pulled a little after 2 am so everyone got to stand in the parking lot until the all clear, but met some nice folks. Breakfast was good and nice variety: of fresh eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, cereals, juice, coffee. Refrigerator in the room was good to keep our left overs and waters cold for the next day. Overall was a good place to stay.
