Beds are hard as a rock. Pillows sre terrible. I would give it a zero based on this since the whole point is having a pkace to sleep. I hardly slept. I will never stay there again. If you like a very, very firm mattress, you will love this place.

It gives privacy per location however unsafe, the smell of smoking enters my room which was not healthy for me. The dining table was not clean and a cube of soap. Receptionist area not great.

We had utilized the laundry facility and the machines were well kept and efficient. I wish that the hotel had a vending machine for travel sized soaps. The area around the hotel had lots of options for soap. Delivery was a little difficult to come by but that was more of the restaurant we chose and does not reflect the hotel itself.

Okay so i ordered a reservation with my cash app card , payment went through and it seemed fine. I get there and the guy behind the counter tells me that he couldnt give me the room because i dont have a bank card? Like with BAnk of America or chase? I have an banking app thou that they didnt accept because of their policies. These policies should be able to be found in the description of the motel. I seriously got extremely lucky and someone let me use their bank card info. Without that guy? I would of been hittijg you guys up about a refund...I shouldnt be able to make a purchase for that motel with the card im using if its not allowed. Period. Ljke this was such a horrible experience. Im very grateful for that stranger too help me out..

Was good enough for one night
The room was fine, other than finding 2 cockroaches in the middle of the night. We rented the king with a sleeper sofa, no extra sheets, blankets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. I went to the office to ask for some, waited a ridiculous amount of time while the front desk clerk was outside, he saw me i even waved and he continued to talk to a guy out there and then turned around and walked even further away to the laundry room. So i never got sheets for my kids, i had to split up my bedding for them. Also the only way to get to my room was to walk through the smoking area where a group of shady men stayed all day and all night long, i hated having to walk past them with our children.

The employee that checked us in was rude. I know it was very late about 1:30 am, but we called before hand to make sure this would not be a problem. We were told it would not be. The tv did not work and the room did not smell clean.

It is what it is. It was neither bad nor amazing. It was a great price and had a kitchen which we would have used more if we were there longer. It was a tad noisy outside at night. Dogs, doors, a police siren….but, overall it was clean, cheap and just fine for one night. I’d stay here again for a longer stay if needed for those reasons. I’m cheap. It was fine.

Has issues with the booking, and staff just told me I would have to wait and see if it fixed itself. Even when I called Hotel.com for assistance and the problem happened a second time they told the customer support the same thing and I ended up going to stay somewhere else.

The property is a typical ESH property, druggies, bangers, housekeeping walks by broken coffee pot, dirty towels and trash several times a day every day and leaves it where it is, smokers stink up the property and dis guard their butts everywhere .

Cockroaches everywhere
First they didn't have the room I ordered, then they gave me a room infested with cockroaches. I mean infested it was so horrifying. I couldn't sleep at all that night even they gave me another room which we didn't experience anymore roaches(that we know of). And to top it off charge me extra for the room when they didn't have the one I ordered.

Hotel was clean for an older property. Front desk clerk didn't seem to willing to address a couple of issues, or get information, but they weren't major issues. I did find it odd that there was no drink machine on the property. And, the laundry room did not have a way for people to get quarters for the machines, and the front desk didn't keep rolls of quarters for that purpose. What's a person to do?

Terrible Experience/ No room cleaning with Covid
I had a bad experience in this particular Extended Stay America in Mesa Phoenix AZ.
I paid for 3nights ,my room was not clean after the first night trash was not removed and no fresh towels. I called to find out why ,i was informed they only clean weekly. I was horrified that I paid for 3nights that is non refundable. I call and beg for fresh towels and we finally got fresh towels on day 3, but no cleaning done in the room at all. Terrible.

For an extended stay that offers a kitchen with a microwave and stove and refrigerator, but no coffee pot. The front desk told me they were out of coffee pots but would try to locate one and bring it to me ,,4 days later we still do not have a coffee pot .Grab and go breakfast was limited also as I went to get breakfast at 7 AM one day and not one drop of coffee. I asked the girl to make some. She was almost asleep and said it will take a while.

disappointed in this hotel
The room was not as advertised. The pull-out/hide-a-bed was supposed to be a double bed and the room was supposed to sleep 4 with 1 king bed and the pull out double but, it was only a single which was not acceptable for 2 teenage boys to sleep in. They also advertised free breakfast but very disappointing that it was only coffee, tea hot chocolate and granola bars and very small little muffins. I also didnt realize that people could long term rent here and there was some rather unsavory people that bothered us and a guest that came to visit us. The house keeping staff were truly amazing, friendly and wanted to help. They did move us to another room where the pull out was a double but, the mattress was horrible, saggy and lumpy and old. One of the reasons we chose this chain of hotels was because they all have kitchenettes but, they do not have anything in them, no dishes, cups no flatware or coffee pot, no pans nothing at all. You have to place an order for what you want which would have OK except they were all out of everything until the day before we were to check-out. We ended up spending much more on restaurant food then we planed on because of this and the poor excuse for a breakfast they had. This was our first time staying at this hotel chain and will not stay again. I will repeat the the house keeping staff was amazing!

Blood stairs on the sheets. No soap . No drain plug in sink or bathtub. Two rolls of toilet paper near Completely used up left in the room. Smoke detector beeping every 15 seconds. Bed side lamp covered is rust stains. Front door would not close properly.

I booked a room on the app and when I got there. She said that there are no more rooms available because they weren’t clean. She was kinda nice but she did upgrade the room at no charge. It was nice. But the tv took a while to turn on and change the channels. Again it was nice I don’t know if I would stay there again

The property is run down, I had problems with my key/entry. Dead bug in my room, room was very smoking smelling.
The staff was very friendly & helpful. Location was important to me. Not sure I would stay again, despite convenience of location.

I have stayed in hotels and motels all over the valley. I've stayed in the sketchy ones on main St. I stayed in higher end ones in Scottsdale. I choose this place because I thought it was a good location and affordable for the weekend. I was with my husband and 2 daughters one is an infant. The room I booked was a king with a pull out couch. They couldn't give us any sheets for the couch because I didn't list my young children. I don't list my children for safety reasons. And the site says "can fit 2 adults and include 3 children." The staff was either not there or rude as hell. The wifi was crappy and couldn't connect. Stayed on the phone with the IT people for over an hour. There was people walking around all night. Strangers even banged on my door in the morning. There was at one point 6 cop cars in the parking lot and people drinking in their cars in the afternoon. Not a place for families. Will not recommend place to anyone.

Hidden Gem in the desert
Shannon went above and beyond to accommodate me. I forgot to reserve a pet friendly room, but she, along with housekeeping staffer, Toni, got a room ready for me quickly and helped to make me feel very welcome and comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying here. The room was very cozy and inviting. The kitchen was a huge plus. Both the customer service ladies were very pleasant to talk to. Smiles across the board.
It was great not having a parking lot right outside of the door, but rather nice landscaping to see. It didnt feel like a hotel at all. A for everything about this hotel.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. However, the bed was so firm nearly every hour I woke up and turned in bed because it felt like I was pounced in the kidney. We where in the disability room and it was clearly been abused over the years. But we got a great price per day. It was better for sure the those guys that leave the light on for you.

You get what you pay for. We stayed here only because we couldn’t find availability close by for the night. When you check in you are greeted with an unfriendly service. The outside property is unkept. Rooms are small and smelly. They should remove the suite from their name and call it what it is, a cheap motel.

I made an error booking the wrong date at another hotel. This was a last resort as everywhere was booked for the night. The staff seemed bothered that I needed sheets for the pullout couch and asked if I didn't want to just share the bed with my kids instead. The beds were clean, but the trash was full and the overall state of the room was worn.

At check we were greeted lovely Front agent new to town from New jersey, she explained she still and to bear with her through the Check-in process. Everything went smoothly and went of to our room and then to dinner. When return to our 2 rooms just after 9 pm, we found that the pull-out sofa for the kids did not have Linen. We contacted the front desk to get linen, we were told she could get us linen. And we would have to the over person arrived. Not having any choice, we tried to 3 adults and 4 kids to sleep in 2 beds.
After a horrible night sleep, I returned to the front desk to make dissatisfaction known, upon arrive I found a note taped to the window that here phone not work and he/she could be found in the laundry. So off I went to find the Laundry and speak with the lady. I explained to her what had happened the night before and her first comment was you need to request them. Hmm, I thought to myself, I repeated that we did request them, and we were told the over person we bring them up. She paused and said the the girl was new. I said I understand that maybe the issue on your end but, we never received our linen.
I went on to ask who can I speak to about this. She referred me to Carolyn the Manager after 10 am or you can call corporate. I followed up with a call at 7:14 am on the 11th
Later that day 2:46 pm, Friday, I called back the hotel and Sandy answered the phone. I asked Carolyn, she said Carolyn is on the property, I left h

One 3 of the 4 nights, I had to get my room key re-magnetized (my door would not unlock).
The staff were courteous, however, no one asked to confirm my ID, which felt unsafe to me.
How did they know I was truly the person renting that particular room, for example?
Also, there were no dishes/glasses/utensils upon arrival, which required me to ask once and follow up once more time to have it delivered to my room.

And when I did the check in the lady didn’t allow me to stay, she said that i do have any room available, I know that’s why I did a reservation in the morning, I’m very disappointed because it’s the first time that happened to me

Terrible hotel and unfriendly front desk
Terrible, no one at the front desk, had to say hello for her to stop talking on the phone from the back room. Wasn't very friendly when she showed up at the front...guess I interrupted her personal phone call. Overall, place was a....lack of a better word dump. We paid almost $200.00 and it was very terrible, service, front desk person, location,room smelled, overall, I would never comeback again. We've stayed in a lot of hotels for much lower price and were treated very nice and rooms were exceptional.

About average size with fridge, cook top, microwave, sink. Plenty of towels. There were no hanger, no cup, no utensil. There were possibly section 8 or homeless people being placed there. They did not make up the room on the second day, so we just called for new towels.

Made a reservation through a booking site about a month before Thanksgiving. So no more worrying about it while getting set for our trip, right? We drove 9 hours to Phoenix and were wiped out arriving at 10:30 p.m. Come to find out, they couldnt give us a room. They asked if we had pets, and we do...the main reason we stay at Extended Stay. They told us they had rooms, but no more pet rooms. They said we hadnt told them we have a pet in the reservations. If it had asked about a pet, I would've marked 'yes' (I have seen that check box before when I make reservations other times). After a lot of unsuccesful phone calls to relocate us to another hotel, they gave us information for Motel 6! Oh they also asked what area of town we would like to be in. I told her, "right here, we are visiting family down the street!" We left with no room, to go hunt for a place to sleep at 11:00 at night...so tired and wrestling animals. Ugg!!! Wouldn't the good customer service thing to do, be to make it right and just give us a regular room and look stellar in our eyes?!? What is the point of making a reservation if it's not kept? So dissapointing.

It was alright for what you pay for.
It was overall alright. Clean room. The smell when you fist walk in wasn’t pleasing. It smelled like mold.
One of the burners didn’t work on stove. We got away with using just one.
Everything being around is convenient. That was also a plus. Overall stay was good.

The motel is fine.
Overall everything was ok. The check was fine, not rude or anything. The room was ok, nothing bad or good. Old style motel but well kept. We were there for a one night stay, to pass through. The price was fine for what it was, a place to shower and sleep. We won't stay there for more than one night and with our family. Its a clean motel to have when you need a quiet place to sleep.

My flight was late arriving and they did not have a room for me. Due to events in the area there was not another hotel room within 20 miles. If they were not going to have a room, I should have been notified prior to 11:00 pm after arriving.

Not a good property.
The receptionist not freely or to hlp you ivrcome. We asked if we could check in early, she sais "NO", because we don't.
No suggestions what to do for 2 hours, or gi e us a good excuse.
Black mold in shower. We wore flip flops inside shower.

Ants in a Blanket
I came to Arizona on a medical emergency trip. My daughter got hit by a car in Mesa, Arizona. I talked about her to the front desk staff. When she got out of the hospital, I got a free upgrade to a bigger room. We woke up bro a room full of ants. I did not want to appear ungrateful so we stayed a 2nd night. Woke up to the table covered with ants. We freaked out. Why would they put a girl fresh out of the hospital into a filthy infested room. Terrible. She said she had a room in mind for us. Some joke. A room no one else would want. Shameful.

The place was just ok.
The problem was they started resurfacing the parking lot.
Had I been informed of this at check-in I would have requested to stay in the building that was not being worked on.
They way we were informed was via a letter posted on our door when we returned home later that evening. See photo attached.
This was a major incovenience to us. We often come to Mesa for supplies for our restaurant and it was bad enough that we were on the second floor but now they expected for us to haul everything to another parking lot!
When I went to the front office to complain about this all I got was a "We're sorry about that" I did feel for the girl at the front desk as I was not the only customer in there complaining about this ~ there were several.
We ended up getting up around 5AM to leave to avoid our vehicle being towed!!
They just lost me as a future customer.

We checked in at Extended Stay America - Phoenix - Mesa - West after waiting 15 minutes. We were told that the one bed we booked was overbooked and that we would be upgraded at no charge to a two bed room. When we got in there was a strong odor. The sheets seemed damp and after about 45 minutes we felt that the floor was damp under foot. We tried to call the front desk at that point but no one answered. We did call back to the front desk again. We asked if we could change rooms but was told there were no more rooms. We were told that we could contact the manager but she would not be in until Monday. The smell was something like wet dog or mold from the damp floor. We turned in our keys at 10:20pm and left. I tried to use the contact us function on the website but the captcha is broken.

I've always stayed at that location, it is convenient for me and sometimes I bring my dogs. My dogs like it too. What I didn't like is, I could not check in early, I even agreed to pay the extra fee.

Far as the bed everything was good.
The bed was terrible it like sleeping on nails it was a old bed with springs and how some one slept and they slept there for a while in the same place and made there body imprint on both sides like a body hole could not get comfortable felt like I was sinking trying to get out of this hole. They need to up grade there beds

Convenient Location and Efficient Staff!
Stay was enjoyable, quiet and uneventful; all of which are welcomed when you are on a trip. If you arrive late in the evening, the office will be closed, but there is a phone that reaches the nice ladies down in housekeeping who will check you in quickly and efficiently. They don’t keep silverware or a coffee pot in the room, or really anything else in the room; you will want to ask for those items if you’ll need them right away. Beds were super clean, carpets could be updated as I assume that the spots are there to stay, and that’s why i only gave 4/5 stars. Would definitely return.
