Front desk lady called me back after I called to inquire about early check-in. And then she let us have a late check out. Very nice breakfast with some protein and very clean. All the staff for kind and attentive.

Highway robbery
No mention of pet fee online. When we checked in, we were “ambushed” with an $80 per pet fee! We have two small dogs, so the pet fee was almost twice as much as the cost of the room. Ridiculous!!! I see now why they neglected to post that information.

it was ok....very close to many resturants/shops etc..about 1/2 mile from beach..but hiway 98 runs right in front of the property..so that made it easy...breakfast basic eggs/sausage etc......i would stay again

A Good place
Stayed 3 nights. Check-in was a breeze with Tamika. She was Super friendly. Room was clean and stocked with all amenities. Had an indoor pool and outdoor pool to entertain the kids and wife. Hotel supplied a rotating breakfast every morning, which was awesome.The nights got a little loud with the party folks. But, I would overall stay again.

we paid extra for balcony which was a waste due to it overlooking main hwy with loud traffic noise all day and night. there was a light outside glowing into our room all night. The room wasn't cleaned after the first day and no fresh towels. location of the hotel is bad and won't stay again. Staff was friendly.

My room was dirty I had something green on my pillowcases that looked like feces. The balcony had a dirty cup with cigarettes in it. The rooms need to be updated.

Awful experience
First night our room only had warm water and not hot. So the next day my wife asked the desk clerk could we be moved. The clerk had a lil attitude about the reason for moving. We were then moved to another room on the 2nd floor. We put our bags in and went got lunch and did some shopping. Upon returning to the room the room smelled like a sewerage plant. Since it was late we decided to just deal with it until the morning. The next morning another couple was already had the front desk complaining about the smell in their room and they didnt receive any help at all. They were told the hotel was fully occupied. We decided not to cause a scene and since were knew we would be gone all day and not return until late in the eveneing we were just gonna deal with it. We took our bags with us and left only to return late that night to a worse smell than before. We woke up the next morning and checked out and left

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. Incredible stay with a nice view of the street and a glimpse of the beach. The staff were so helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, simple options: Cereal, Egg, Sausage, Juice, Toast Bagels, Waffles. The only issue was that the toilet was very hard to flush ! But other than that, perfect stay. 5 stars from me.

It was nice especially with kids there was an acade and bumper car next door. Joe's crab shack is a nice walk. Target, mcdonald's, chick filet and convienent store are closed by.

No pool towels available for entire stay. Indoor pool not open. We ask for room towels twice and both times were told there were none available, check back later. Girl at the front desk seem to be bothered to wait on us. There was pee on the toilet when we entered our room, Racks on refrig in room were broke. The lady doing breakfast was nice and seemed to be working hard but alone. Ran out of coffee, gravy, was done eating by the time more was brought out. She needed help. Would not stay again.

Overall an okay stay. We read a lot of reviews so we weren't very surprised, but did want to point out a few things.
Front desk staff is generally awful. However there was one man and lady who checked us in on Thursday that were very kind. The rest were rude and unhelpful.
There is some sort of issue with keys where you have to get it reset. When we were checking in a couple had to wait 30 min to get their keys reset. Then we had to two nights in a row with no explanation, both mind and my husbands didn't work. This could be a huge pain. It clearly wasn't because of cleaning staff entering, because they didn't enter once during the 4 nights we were there. There is no option or DND door sign, as they won't come in anyway. Had to ask for more soap due to them leaving one small thing of shampoo for our family.
The pool area needs an update, it gets wet upon use and there are hugely slippery spots. At one time I fell and cracked my knee, the staff would not help my husband find an ice maker to get ice or offer towels as I was sopping wet due to the standing water outside the pool. The indoor/outdoor pool was the reason we selected this hotel.
We were on the side of the hotel with a family fun park next door. It is loud, really loud. I would suggest earplugs or getting a room elsewhere. The hotel was totally full and we had no option. It runs every night.
Breakfast was fine. About what you would expect. Coffee also fine. Beds were fun, rooms were clean.

The only that irritated me was my bedding and the bathroom. The bedding had old blood and the bathroom floors were dirty…. Also everything time I turned on the air conditioner it had a funny smell.

The room was super humid when we got there and had a strong cleaning product smell. I found a diffuser and unplugged it so that helped but I have COPD and it was hard to breathe walking in at first. Other than that, it was ok. Pool was small and the hot tub was full of people since the hotel was full.

I have never written a negative hotel review because if I'm on vacation I always look for the positive. However, there were several problems with our two night stay. First, the gentleman working the front desk the day of check in was incredibly rude, no personality, and acted bothered that people were checking in. He mumbled, never made eye contact, and grunted more than he spoke. Upon arriving to our room, I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned but the property seems dated so it could have been from age. However, the pull out sofa bed has holes in the cushions. There was absolutely no additional sheets, blankets, or pillows for our boys to use. Then, the air conditioner was so loud whenever running it woke us all up throughout the night both nights. It sounded like a spaceship landing when it turned on and stayed at this high pitch yell throughout. We like to sleep cold and ended up turning it up to limit it coming on. The first night there, our TV was set to Spanish. I went down and asked the guy at the front desk and again, he acted bothered. By the time he finally made it to the room I had figured it out using Google translate on my phone. It isn't that the TV was the issue, it was the staff being less than welcoming. This is our second stay here, the first was eleven years ago, but I don't know that we could return after several really negative encounters.

This has been our Go To hotel when we’re in Destin. The go cart track next door can get loud so I suggest asking for a room farthest away from that side of the hotel. Luckily it quiets down after 10 PM. Other than the noise, the hotel is excellent.

Very friendly staff, they upgraded my room for free! Indoor heated pool but who needs it, the beach is a 10 min walk. Fitness center and breakfast every day. The prices beat the surrounding hotels by a longshot. I enjoyed my stay, thanx everyone!

My 3 night trip to Destin
Pretty old outdated stairwells are pretty dirty hallways not vacuumed at least on the second floor where I was. breakfast was OK room cleanliness was OK. Railing on my balcony was loose. But for $79 a night in Destin, Florida in February not so bad.

Getting better every year.
Second year in a row I stayed here. Better than last year. Needs small maintenance items such as bulb out over sink and a diverter valve on the tub spout frozen in place.

Location is great to all amenities. It's not beach front but close to the Harborwalk, restaurants, next door to go kart. We never had any issue with parking, this is due to it being off season. Happy with the stay and great value for the money. I would stay again.

Was a great stay, easy check in and out. Staff was awesome. Clean, but we did see one water bug in the bathroom and the carpet has seen better days. Dryer left our clothes smell bad. The place is a little older but for the price it’s definitely way better than a days inn.

The breakfast was amazing. The room size was nice. Had a couch that I think was a pullout bed, but we didn't need it. The carpets could use some cleaning and touch up in the bathroom. We had loud families on one side and across the hall. They seemed to be friends and were wondering back and forth parts of the day. We were 20 mins early and they made us wait to check in. We were tired after our long drive and just wanted to rest.

Affordable with some drawbacks
This place was affordable, but there were some issues. I felt like I was bothering staff when I had to ask for things. In the 8 days we stayed, we only requested our room be fully cleaned once, but when we asked for soap, shampoo, trash bags, towels, etc. it seemed like an inconvenience. Our keys were de activated multiple times daily, and the front desk staff seemed annoyed by that too. Our room was on the end near The Track, so there was a lot of noise during the day. Also, the blinds were broken and didn’t block out the light. This made it difficult with a sleeping infant at night and nap. It was our first time to Destin. I would definitely recommend springing for oceanfront. This was an okay place for a day or two, but wouldn’t recommend a week-long stay. My kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good, and the housekeeping staff was friendly.

Everything was wonderful except the blinds did not close so the parking street lights shined in our room all night and we felt that people could look into our room because we were on the first floor.
Breakfast was fabulous and the entire hotel was very clean.

I liked that the Adults had the spa to enjoy which was wonderful on a chilling evening n the kids had the indoor pool to splash around in which they said the temp was perfect. Now the outside pool u jumped in there lol let me say this if u was tired it sure the heck would wake u right up lol
