Everything is ok except for the shower, the water got weaker and weaker and stopped in the middle of a shower. Hot water was amost like boiling hot and so uncomfortable to take shower.

Good hotel for a weekend stay
Nice hotel 10min walk from the public beach. In the back room we had we could not hear the noice from he road or the nearby airport. Standard breakfast and okay pool to cool down in. Bed was comfortable.
The only negative is the water pressure but it mig just have been because our room was at the end of the corridor on 3rd floor. In morning there was no hot water in afternoon one needed to use max heat otherwise there was no water coming from the shower at all. Water pressure was always low for cold water in the sink.

Great Stay
It was very clean and kept that way. Great bed! Breakfast was good. Cleaner they used in rooms smelled a little weird. Only thing I could kind of complain about. Thanks for a great stay!

No hot water, tub do not drain, in 322, I was moved to 122, ant the issues got worse, no hot water, tub not draining water, and the second time I approached the front desk staff they told me just report it in the morning.

The staff were all really nice. The pool areas were dirty. Mold covered the rugs in the indoor pool area and mold was growing around the edges of the pool. The hot tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.

The property is located in a great area the beach across the street you have great restaurants walking distance. The outside and packaging is very clean and well maintained and lighted. All the staff are very friendly and ready to help you with any questions about Dustin Florida or if wanted extra towels. They had a good hot breakfast and plenty of fruit, cereal, yogurt and bagels. Overall the stay was great and relaxing.

They got us in 2 hours early, which was unexpected but nice considering we were already in town and not wanting to waste the day waiting on a room. Check-in let us know they only turn down rooms on request and we could get extra towels there if needed (and this was true and not inconvenient at all).
The head cleaning crew member was on the elevator and was super nice andletus know she'd gelp us should we have any trouble; we did not.
Room was right off of the elevator and suprisingly had a beach view (across the street and over a few buildings) which we were also not expecting having booked the night before. Room smelled fresh; like the carpet had just been cleaned but not like they were trying to cover up something. In fact it remained fresh the entire time we were there.
Only down side was The Track is next door and it was slightly noisy but we didn't care because we planned to be out for the most part and it was nice and quiet by 10pm at the latest.
No trouble with other guests and all of the staff was sincere amd polite. Zero complaints besides the hot water dispenser by the coffee being empty but we left at 3:30am and it was likely in-between being cleaned.
Highly recommend it and my family and I will certainly be back!

The hotel room itself smelled really bad and we had hair all over our towels. Just wasn’t clean. There was also this high pitch noise we heard the entire time we were there making it hard to sleep. Pool was really dirty as well. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice little place in walking distance of beach
Hotels.com neglected to send my reservation that I made 8 months ago to the hotel so when I arrived, there was no actual reservation for the room I booked. The Summerplace moved other reservations around and did everything they could to fit us into a room after a 700 mile drive. Since it was a third party booking site, they did not have to do any of that but they did. The were very accommodating and hospitable. The room was nice, location is great, overall a nice little place.

The only thing I did not care for, was the fact I didn’t read the fine print and found that your credit card is charged $100 which is later to be refunded. I have not had that charge removed yet.

Fantastic stay
Our first stay in Destin. We had a week stay and loved it. Everyone was very friendly. Hotel was in a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Could walk to everything. If you get a suite on top two floors have gulf view. Hotel was very clean. We stayed for the World Series and stay in hotels almost every weekend and they were the most comfortable beds hand down. Only complaint was that the air in our week long room as a little loud. We added a night on the beginning of our trip and stayed in a different room and it was fantastic also. Would definitely recommend and would stay in again.

It is an amazing property it’s very clean. They are very nice they give you free breakfast. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and I feel like if you wanna go on vacation or a birthday trip to Destin Florida this is the best hotel that you can stay in that is very affordable and great.

Our problem's started with check-in. They tell you right off the bat to make sure you keep the keys away from your phone but if you have any problems to let them know. I did, went straight to our room and couldn't get in...after 3 visits down stairs (while my family and all of our belongings waited in the hallway) someone finally came to check the lock which was broke. While waiting for them to repair the lock we found out the toilet was broken as well. All of this in the first 30 minutes. The blackout curtains were to small the be effective. However, we had a balcony...it faced the road so even though it was a little loud at times (go-cart track next door) you could see the beautiful ocean! 🌊 Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was good each morning was a little different. Pools were nice as well.

Wonderful and affordable place to stay in the middle of the happenings. Walkable distance to all the facilities and the beach. Loved the renovations. The biggest disappointment is their breakfast. It is terrible. Just waffles, and bread with some juice and coffee.

We had a pretty good stay. I was a little upset that you have to drive a little ways to go to the beach and you can't really just walk over to it. The staff were all friendly, the pool never had towels and it almost felt like it was an issue asking for extra towels. I had an overall good stay and I would stay again.

I was so skeptical about staying at an off brand hotel but i must say i have no complaints. It’s a tad outdated but pleasant nonetheless. Room was clean and bed was soooooooo comfy. Walking distance to almost everything. Would recommend again.

Room and bathroom were very spacious. Spent 3 nights here for a good price for memorial day weekend. Would rate higher if we received house keeping daily without having to request in advance. Overall decent place to stay and close to everything you need!

The rooms were clean and well appointed and the beds quite confortable and thw instant hot water was a nice surprise as most hotels take forever to run hot. The outside abient lighting was a huge issue as the blinds were not suffocoent and the traffic noise at times was unfortunate. Also the door allow water from the balcony to soak the carpet nearby. We (6 adults had hoped to enjoy the pool and hottin but is was completely overrun by soccer teams, their parents and siblings. Ridiculously loud, kids and soccer balls bouncing like a war zone. Not at all the relaxing time we had hoped. Common room at breakfast and dinner also consumed by same crowds making it mostly unusable. Staff was realy quite nice! Parking is tight but assuming that was due to the large groups associated with soccer tourny. Stay should have been discounted to make up for said inconveniences.

This property was affordable, close to the beach. I was surprised it didn't have bike rental nearby with the bike lane in front of the hotel or public transportation/signage for how to get to the public beach. Indoor pool was cool since it rained one day.

No mention of pet fee online. When we checked in, we were “ambushed” with an $80 per pet fee! We have two small dogs, so the pet fee was almost twice as much as the cost of the room. Ridiculous!!! I see now why they neglected to post that information.

Stayed 3 nights. Check-in was a breeze with Tamika. She was Super friendly. Room was clean and stocked with all amenities. Had an indoor pool and outdoor pool to entertain the kids and wife. Hotel supplied a rotating breakfast every morning, which was awesome.The nights got a little loud with the party folks. But, I would overall stay again.

we paid extra for balcony which was a waste due to it overlooking main hwy with loud traffic noise all day and night. there was a light outside glowing into our room all night. The room wasn't cleaned after the first day and no fresh towels. location of the hotel is bad and won't stay again. Staff was friendly.

Awful experience
First night our room only had warm water and not hot. So the next day my wife asked the desk clerk could we be moved. The clerk had a lil attitude about the reason for moving. We were then moved to another room on the 2nd floor. We put our bags in and went got lunch and did some shopping. Upon returning to the room the room smelled like a sewerage plant. Since it was late we decided to just deal with it until the morning. The next morning another couple was already had the front desk complaining about the smell in their room and they didnt receive any help at all. They were told the hotel was fully occupied. We decided not to cause a scene and since were knew we would be gone all day and not return until late in the eveneing we were just gonna deal with it. We took our bags with us and left only to return late that night to a worse smell than before. We woke up the next morning and checked out and left

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. Incredible stay with a nice view of the street and a glimpse of the beach. The staff were so helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, simple options: Cereal, Egg, Sausage, Juice, Toast Bagels, Waffles. The only issue was that the toilet was very hard to flush ! But other than that, perfect stay. 5 stars from me.

No pool towels available for entire stay. Indoor pool not open. We ask for room towels twice and both times were told there were none available, check back later. Girl at the front desk seem to be bothered to wait on us. There was pee on the toilet when we entered our room, Racks on refrig in room were broke. The lady doing breakfast was nice and seemed to be working hard but alone. Ran out of coffee, gravy, was done eating by the time more was brought out. She needed help. Would not stay again.
