A quiet retreat located just past the North End on the water. The staff were all driven, polite, and welcoming and all the facilities were clean, although the room did not have a kitchen or more importantly a refrigerator meaning we could not take leftovers and had to eat out which for our short stay worked out just fine but certainly something to note for longer stays.

When I checked in the room was dirty dust on the counters and chocolate wrappers on the floor. The carpet mad missing patches with nails sticking out of them. The elevator buttons have to be pushed in very hard in order to have a chance at them functioning properly.When I addressed the problem with staff they were able to come and resolve the issues and provide a discount but it does not change the fact that the hotel is in poor condition. The spa connected with the hotel is a fantastic experience and I highly recommend going to the spa.

This is my second time here and honestly I feel like it’s gone down a bit. HVAC didn’t work in the room and neither did the bath tub. No microwave or fridge in the room which is a shame considering how much I paid for this hotel.

Loved it. Great location. Very clean and quiet. Room was great. They had a wifi issue when we arrived and the front desk person was rude about options and check -in. Maybe she was stressed about the wifi but I was surprised at her attitude. Otherwise it was all 5 star.

Phenomenal Boston Hotel
Awesome property! Bakhti at the front desk is a lovely welcome to the property, her beautiful smile is matched by her warm demeanor and professionalism. I was running late to a reservation and she made check in super smooth and efficient while also being incredibly kind & friendly! The front door and valet gentlemen are all so friendly and delightful. They open every door, offer assistance & move fast! Everyone I have interacted with during stays here is an absolute pleasure and so helpful! The rooms are impeccably clean, each has a unique look and is well adorned with luxurious amenities. The location is fantastic, a 5 minute walk to the heart of the north end on Hanover street and a quick ride or reasonable walk to many other locations in the city. The views from the property of Boston harbor is gorgeous and there is a nice walking path along the water to enjoy. Great for solo travelers, business trips & romantic stays. Absolutely recommend for a stay in Boston!

Our favorite Boston hotel
We stay at the Battery Wharf Hotel whenever we go to Boston. Whether we take the train or the bus, it's a nice walk to the hotel from either North Station or South Station. Battery Wharf is a stone's throw from all the wonderful restaurants of Boston's North End as well as a quick walk to TD Garden. If you're going to a Bruins or Celtics game or an event at the Garden, you couldn't ask for a nicer, more convenient hotel. There's a nice restaurant and a bar at the hotel as well as a spa so if you don't want to brave the elements you have everything you need at the hotel.

Geat location but with all the add on charges and lack of what a real high end hotel should be

I came with family who had not visited BOSTON. We all had a wonderful time. The hotel was perfect. Everyone could not have been nicer and more helpful. accommodations were Perfect and everything was spotless. I will definitely return again

Wonderful hotel
Our nephew's wedding was held here, so we reserved a room as well. All the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance, (less than a mile) of Faneuil Hall, the New England Aquarium, and the North End area of Boston, home of several authentic Italian restaurants.

Room was just okay - seemed worn. When calling front desk for room service no one answered. Bar at night atmosphere was stressed with cook and bartender telling us we were not allowed to eat a cookie we bought because bartender would be in trouble. Breakfast was terrible. Crepes were dry, eggs and fruit plate tasted like onions.

Mediocre hotel in a great location
The hotel falls short of my expectations. Furnishings are showing their age in the rooms and in the restaurant. Bartender was very good. Poorly trained wait staff and food service sent out cold breakfast sausages. There’s no coffee area. And wait staff will pounce with a $5 charge for serving yourself. Better go to Cafe Amalfi next door

Very classy hotel!
Everything was 5 stars. From the guy at valet parking ( btw who spoke french to us) to the poeple at the front desk! It was a very warmnt stay after our tripp from Montreal to watch the HABS against the Bruins!
And the Little coffee shop attached to our building (no.5) was a plus for us in the morning (not related to the hotel but still)!!!
We will be back next summer for a baseball tripp this Time!

Check in was quick and friendly, valet system is easy and done through the phone, which is very helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Love the bathroom setup. We have a soaking tub as well as a shower. Would def come again

Anniversary weekend
We love staying here, only issues this time was the bed was really uncomfortable. Only 1 coffee pod. No mini fridge. We do love the location thou.

Family trip - Great location
In a great part of town, walkable to tons of great restaurants! Felt very safe. Beds were not the most comfortable we have ever had, but were ok. Not the biggest fan of the onsite restaurant, but they did have one.

What a beautiful Hotel! The property is very nice and peaceful, I liked that it was on the wharf and we could go for long walks and have meals outside. When we first arrived to our room housekeeping missed the garbage in the bathroom. That did put me off as it wasn't just paper, it was someone's medication. I told the hotel and housekeeping came by right away to take care of it. Not only that but the hotel manager found out and since I was with my kids she had staff bring us some delicious cookies and milk for them as well as some other goodies. WOW! They really take care of their hotel guests! The hotel is very walkable to many restaurants and also very close to the New England Aquarium which is a must visit. Also, there is little Italy to walk around and Quincy market was nice to walk around at night too. Definitely will try and stay there again if we make it back to Boston.

Not as fancy as you think
There was a problem with the toilet door, it did not close all the way.
In addition there was a really nice chair in the room but apparently was broken. There was no way to stop it from extending all the way. No way to lock in the back for support.
When we arrived we were harassed by the valley attendant even though their services were not required. As some who just finished traveling, being harassed by staff wasn't fun.

The hotel itself was not kept up. It’s a great location for the North End. Great walking distance for Hanover Street. The wallpaper was peeling up, bathroom sinks needed caulking, dirty corners and hairballs in the corners, carpet was dirty, and needed replacing.
We felt safe there and the doorman and check in attendant were very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the BWH.
Our room was not ready since we arrived early, but was promised a call when it was ready. We walked around Boston, had lunch and so on. We went back to hotel about 5:00 and finally got checked-in…..no phone call as promised. A bit annoying, considering they had all day.

Okay stay.
My wife and I were in town for just one night. We were greeted kindly and no issues at the front desk. Room was clean but as my wife and I got ready for our event we noticed the shower did not drain properly and we found ourselves ankle deep in water and soap, the sink was not much better. Overall the room was decent but had quite a few cosmetic issues, scratches on furniture and sink had hairline cracks. Normal wear and tear maybe but for $400 a night I expected a little better. Our room had a cabinet for a fridge but alas no. Finally upon leaving the room we wanted to lock some valuables in the safe but of course as we tried the safe did not work.We didn’t have time to call because we were headed to our concert. My wife and I weren’t overly concerned but we had our passports with us and those we always lock in a safe. Upon checking out my wife mentioned all the aforementioned concerns and reception simply asked that other than that your trip was good? And then said the $50 parking fee would be put on our card.

This is a nice hotel, clean and in good condition. We found the service to be OK rather than stellar. Particularly for the cost, which is very high, we’d rate this as good to very good, rather than exceptional.

The hotel is beautiful and the room we had is nice. The only thing is that they’re pretty expensive! The valet parking told my husband that they won’t charge since he was just picking me up and our luggage’s so it took less than half an hour. I was surprised that they charged 50 bucks in my card. It’s a nice hotel but they’re too expensive.

The hotel was on the Harbor which was beautiful. This was our first trip to Boston to celebrate our 32 anniversary. The location was centrally located to all the great sites. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and a great location for a get away.

standard hotel nothing fancy. There was no fridge in the room, you had to request one. The bed was definitely warn down and needs to be replaced. Had two huge sink holes in it.
Shower waterfall head didn’t work and the pressure in the shower was not great.

It’s okay, left a lasting impression
Great location, really nice hotel but they made a point to say that I used hotels.com for my reservations and wouldn’t let me check in until 3…I didn’t have a problem with check in time, I understood that would be the case, we just wanted to drop off our bags; I just find it disappointing that they felt the need to point that out.

Service was fine.
Room was not prepared. Phones did not work. TV did not work. Radio/Clock did not work. Wires to TV & Phone were unplugged. We had to walk to another building to report issues to the front desk. Response was to issues was fairly prompt.
