The hotel is good but for the price I expected a bit more. The condition of the carpets in the 2nd floor hallways are old and a bit rucked up in places showing wear. For safety I would highly recommend replacing them or re-stretching them to avoid anyone tripping or falling. Carpets in the room are fine. Room facilities are good but I would suggest a thorough cleaning of the shower head which has a lot of hard water build up. Other than that the room is clean and well maintained.

We were pleased with the location of our room on the 3rd floor for our 4 night stay. It was quiet and we thought the beds were comfortable. The biggest negative of this property was the run down condition of the wood furniture, cupboards and drawers in our room. For a Hyatt property, we were quite surprised by the obvious neglect and at the substandard quality of two different rooms at this location. The staff members were at no fault and were more than kind. In our opinion, Hyatt Hotels should be made aware of the poor quality of construction at this property and invest in upgrading the rooms to current industry standards.

Had we had an option to stay elsewhere, we would have. We came due to a medical family emergency and prepaid so we would have a place as soon as we arrived.
We did not stay after the 2 nights and went elsewhere.
The staff is wonderful and friendly.

We stay at lots of Hyatts. Let me start with the good: The pool was beautiful heated, relaxing spa, and had a great water feature. The grounds were beautiful. Excellent location- next to lots of shopping and restaurants.
Unfortunately, this was the worst Hyatt in my book as far as room upkeep and breakfast service goes. I am allergic to dogs and asked if they could put me in a room that hadn’t had pets (I do this all the time and most pet-friendly hotels usually save a few rooms- every other Hyatt I’ve been to hasn’t had a problem with putting me in an extra clean, hypo-allergenic room, which is why I normally choose this brand). When I first arrived, the front desk guy seemed offended by my request, but said he could put me up in the top floor corner, as it was the most likely to not have pets. That was fine, except the furniture was all worn like a motel 6 & the sheets were wrinkled where a body sleeps, like the bed had been slept in. I bring my own sheets and pillows, because of my allergy, so I was fine- but if I had been someone else I would have been mortified! The breakfast was meh, not quite as much variety as a normal Hyatt, and they kept running out of things they wouldn’t refill. We stayed three nights, and the first day there was plenty of fruit, but by the third I asked if they had any more bananas and the worker yelled “No!” I should have saved $$ and stayed at the Super 8, but felt trapped due to my allergy. Oh well, my 7yo daughter was happy w the pool.

The hotel was clean and had wonderful service. The breakfast that was included with our room was very nice. Much better than the continental breakfast offered at most hotels. The only issue we ran into was that the bathtub was very slippery.

I liked that the property was very easy to access off 202. It appeared to be in an industrial area and also along the river, so was initially worried about homeless people and car break-ins. Lots of working gate security, lights, and cameras made me feel safer for my vehicle and personal belongings. Loved the pool area, hot tub, and fitness room. The breakfast was very nice, except there were no waffle machines, yogurt, or whole wheat bagels. Mostly eggs and meat and french toast a few times.

When I arrived from Colorado I had lost my voice due to getting caught in the snow storm. Melissa was amazing, kind and helpful. In the evening when we returned the gentleman at the desk helped me with honey, lime, salt, hot water and even offered me tissue. He too was amazingly kind and helpful. The lady working the morning during breakfast was amazing. She was keeping up with all the patrons, stocking up everything immediately, cleaning up all the area constantly. She even kept her composure was polite and responded kindly to a patron who was absolutely rude to her. My daughter found her to be an outstanding person.

The room was nice.
They didn’t have coffee when I got up. Most motels have coffee in lobby starting at like 3 am. and I’m not using the little icky coffee maker in the room.

Only thing I did not like is when the maid checked us off as checked out When we did not at all not until 11:30am and the front desk workers checked someone else in ours And called us the room and we told them we did not even check out we’ve been in that room since the night before i do not know why that had happened but I hope it was not on purpose too. Everything else was great

My stay was ok, there are a couple of things that would have made it better. Pillows were really soft that when you lay on them they go completely flat. Left with a kink in my neck. Wish there was a freezer to keep other foods there and not rely on eating out.

It is a great location, very clean with a friendly staff. However, the room windows are sealed and the heater/air conditioner is very loud. I realize the summer heat in Mesa, but this room was unbearable. I will not stay here again until they fix it. Which I doubt.

Clean and spacious room with everything we needed. Small fridge, microwave, desk and separate living room were all perfect. Great amount of storage too. Breakfast had a good selection of items and kept well stocked even though it was busy.

The hotel is fairly new and clean. However, the pull out bed that made this a room for 4 people did not have clean sheets or bedding on it. It was soiled. That is a massive fail that cannot be ignored.

This has always been my go to location when in Arizona for the past 13 years. It’s super convenient to shopping, food and amazing park for kids. The hotel is in good condition overall but my room was extremely cold and I couldn’t get the AC to shut off. The evening staff could be much more welcoming to hotel guests.

We enjoyed our stay there, but some things were a little run-down. Some carpets were somewhat shabby, some of the lounge chairs by the pool were quite shabby; even unsafe. Breakfasts were great, pool and hot tub were great.

5-day stay
I booked for 5 days. Room was spacious. Air conditioner worked well but smell was sour/mildew. Bed was uncomfortable and mattress should have been changed quite a while ago as there was a dent impression. I was not advised of their new cleaning policy that you must request housekeeping to come in and refresh/clean your room.

a great hotel with nice pool and hot tub, friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast with hot eggs and sausage and orange juice breakfast. They have tv's to watch sports and lots of seating in the lobby and were very reponsive to my request for a non-skid mat in the tub. Truly I'd stay here again and highly recommend it. Denise is awesome at front desk!

Always stay at Hyatt,our first pick. Was dissapointed this time because we requested maid service and didn’t get any. Had to ask for clean towels every time. After our 8 night stay the bathroom floor was heaping high with dirty towels and trash was overflowing. No excuses,tired of hearing “ we are understaffed”

I travel a lot for work and have seen my fair share of hotels. Hyatt place was everything needed when traveling... really clean, comfortable beds, quiet, and a 12 pm checkout allows more work to be done before hitting the road. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Checking in was so smooth and fast! Very kind and helpful at the desk. However the beds weren’t the most comfortable. One bed must have been broken on the bottom so we kept rolling to the middle and each bed only had three pillows. The pool was awesome !

We stayed here a couple years ago and it was amazing. The location is great, however, the room smelled really bad - almost like mold or mildew. We also stepped on fake lashes that stuck to our feet from the floor not being vacuumed. SO GROSS!! Not ours BTW. Wouldn't stay here again.

Front desk people were amazing. Helpful and available 24/7. Delicious breakfast available with lots of variety. Only compliant is rooms are not cleaned every day as I am used to. But, you can request they come replace towels and make bed. Hotel is older and needs some updating.

We went to stay and play in the pool. Staff was great and checked us in quick. Room was spacious and very quiet, no outside or neighbor noise. Toilet/shower room was a little small. Fold out couch was filthy inside so teen slept on top. Ice bucket and glasses were below the TV at knee level and were dirty. Breakfast was good and staff were great. Pool area was really nice for basic Hyatt but was not being maintained well. Pool was somewhat cloudy and did not seem to improve overnight when filter process should have run. There was an abundance of chemicals to treat the water but not overly excessive. The chaise loungers were nice with overhead misters but many chairs were starting to break in the middle and side tables were sunbleached and splotchy from drinks or sunscreens. The spa was nice and water very clear. Pool access gate near the gym/bathrooms did not want to open properly from the outside but main gate worked just fine. Pool towels were available in a cabinet in the pool area. Overall a good stay and great staff but hotel could use better maintenance.

The room was not ready on time. Check in started at 3 pm. We got there at about 3:30pn, but the room was not ready until after 4 pm. The staff could have been friendlier. There was no signs to remain out of the fountain in the pool area but there was no indications that it was off limits. My kids got it and the staff was a little rude about it.

Overall our experience was good. The room set up was different. I would recommend for them to upgrade their pull out couches. We requested a room for 3 but the couch was not very comfortable and the blankets weren’t clean.

The room was clean, but not new or updated furnishings. Could use a makeover. However, the bed and facilities were comfortable. Breakfast has a lot of options. Nice pool and everything is accessible.
I received a scam room call claiming it was the manager and asking me for my credit card number. I told him I would talk to him down at the front desk and not over the phone. Other people were already down there and had received the same scam call. Beware of scammers at this hotel or anywhere else!

Staff was nice. Common areas are clean. Rooms were filthy and very outdated. The first room we had was caked in dust and dirt and had a bed that was basically a sink hole. The rooms and hallway has a terrible odor. We asked for another room hoping it would be better but it was basically the same with a slightly better bed. We completed our stay there anyways out of convenience but I would NEVER stay there again and I’m now weary of Hyatt Place’s. It was Hyatt prices with a dingy motel feel. How the reviews on this are so good is beyond me. Even the pool was murky!

The customer service was amazing throughout the entire visit. The facility and rooms were very clean and really appreciated the amenities in our room. It was nice to have a single cup coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave, but exceptionally nice to have glass cups for our morning coffee. It's the small touches that make this place very nice. The snack bar area was staffed with real people instead of machines which made it very easy to get snacks and drinks in the evening. Like everyone else, they too were exceptionally friendly. I'd stay here again. Great location also; close to shopping and dining.

This was such an amazing room. The tub was SOOO deep that I actually took an almost hour long soak. The bed was comfy beyond words and picking up the room at a cheap rate made it even better. I would stay here again, no problem.

The staff here were amazing, punctual, and went above and beyond to make my vacation as stress free as they could make it.
My partner is in a wheelchair and this hotel has accommodations including a lift to get in and out of the pool AND the hot tub. When we wanted to use the pool a staff member was out there almost immediately to check on the equipment.
When our taxi had bailed on us without even a phone call to warn us, the receptionist Denise had personally driven my partner and I to the wedding venue we were worried about missing.

Great place to stay, the things i didn’t like were the beds, horrible. My back is killing me right now, Bed sucks you in, your feet are up and your head is down. Also the breakfast is horrible. Had waffles one day and they were hard and dry, and the coffee was cold and no flavored creamer, other than that great place.

Anna at front desk was wonderful. Gave us a great suggestion of a restaurant near by for Mexican food. Pool was cool enough in very hot temperatures outside. Included breakfast was worth staying at Hotel to eat.
