I decided to stay here based on the good reviews and overlooked the bad ones. I figured they must of had a bad experience, doesn’t mean I will. We were visiting our daughter who goes to SFSU we stayed Friday-Sunday. When we walked in it was decent. Settled in then I noticed cigarette burns on the bed I called front desk and the nice receptionist just changed the bedspread. Mind you, it’s a no smoking hotel. I was going to shower and there was hairs in the bathtub ugh!! I called and they would send someone to clean, no one ever came. I told my husband first and last time we are staying here I didn’t want to move or make a big deal since I got what I paid for, $97 a night. We weren’t at the hotel only to sleep, out and about all day. Sunday when we were getting ready to leave I nocited there were numbers written on the sheets not sure if these belonged to room 208 because that’s what it said in big letter, I just shock my head for sure never staying here again. On a good note the receptionist Jim gave us a good breakfast spot recommendation and it was delicious.

I stayed one night. Overall, clean and good service, with a few issues that I can overlook for the price.
The beds are a little hard. They need blackout curtains, but luckily it's still getting light pretty late. I heard a little noise through my door, which seems to conduct sound well. There weren't many guests or that could have been more of an issue.

Bed was very firm and uncomfortable. Green light from the smoke detector was bright enough that i could read in the dark. Cleaning staff left pieces of toilet paper in the peep holes to block light from the hallway. The tv stand had drawers that wouldn't stay closed. The air conditioner says its controlled by the wall but is actually controlled on the AC unit itself. AC unit worked intermittently (on for 2 minutes off for 30 seconds on for 2 minutes) and was very loud and obnoxious. Would never stay again.

Jamesh at the front desk I not sure if I spelled his name right. But his service is above excellent his compassion kindness make my stay memorable since I injured my back and his very kind of my situation and assist me in all possible well. His really a charm to the hotel.Thank you for having such a wonderful person working to the hotel.

Shower at hotel make me cry, i smell marijua.
Hotel staff were nice, everything is good but Shower at hotel make me cry, my tears will came out more than shower head. No pressure in shower head, so i have to take time, alot of time to take shower. You have to make sure shower is good if you are there for businesses. All rooms are non smoking, also smoking free building but i smell marijua in my room, in the hallway and outside. At first, i though it was skunt smell, but that smells woke me up middle of the night. I get it it is S.F. and no smoking cigarettes. But that smell make me sick and mad. It was worse than cigarettes smoke smell. If you are ok with that smell or you like that smell, then you will be fine.

Average stay, breakfast was not impressive but still was able to get a little something in our stomachs. Staff at check in that evening was very attentive but morning staff not so much.beds were comfortable water pressure in shower was good too. Close to airport.

Mr. Janmesh at check in was literally the best part of me and my wife’s whole trip to San Francisco. We had trouble with our flight to Bali and had to book an extra night he not only helped us get our keys back after we had already checked out and had to come back he helped us get the room for another day since we were incorrect on the timing of the flight. He was very friendly and had the best personality. The room was super clean literally no complaints. Very close to the airport and doesn’t break the bank definitely will come back when we come back to San Francisco. Hope you see this Janmesh wish you could have came with us lol.

The room was clean, but our sink faucet was loose, the water would come out only in warm-hot temp. The toilet was also loose, when you would sit down it felt like it was going to tip over. Aside from these things the room was clean, the continental breakfast was decent and staff was helpful.

The staff was very welcoming and fun! They took care of us really well and it felt very warm whenever we pass them by the check-in counter. The place was quaint, but clean. You can see the age of the place, but it's well maintained. They had home made waffles for breakfast so that was a plus! Parking was easy, and there's a McDonald's across the street incase you get hungry!

Staff was friendly and positive. However, there was an unclean smell in the elevator and hallways. There were two small bars of soap on the sink, but nothing to put one in when opened. The sink faucet had to be pounded on to stop leaking. The TV worked OK one night, and would not bring in any programs next morning except pay to view movies and a LARGE selection of adult titles.

When I check in the hotel the front desk agent asking me to pay additional $12 fee? I think my payment was all done by when I booked on line.
The hotel was not clean I had to put towel to cover the setting area

My first time staying at the Hotel Nova. Janmeesh greeted me and was so friendly, professional and very accommodating to my needs. All the staff that I uncounted were all friendly and very professional. My room was clean and bigger than I thought it would be.
The breakfast provided was very good. Coffee, tea and juices. Waffles, hot(instant) and cold cereal, fruit, variety of bread, sandwich meat and cheese as well as yogurt. The surrounding area of the hotel has food options, gas stations and Costco right across the street. Highway access is right down the street.
I would definitely stay at Hotel Nova again and have already suggested to family and friends to stay there!!

They gave me a room right across from the front desk and I was awake at 6 am and couldn't get back to sleep because I could here everything and everybody at the front desk! Then someone just open my door and try to enter while I was still in bed, then one hour later a fire alarm starts beeping for no reason. My stay was very unpleasant!

The breakfast area was nice and clean but the rooms were just ok. The bathroom had a musty odor and when the AC kicked on, we smelled marijuana. We contacted the front desk and they only offered air freshening spray, stating the room had not been used for a few days, so that’s why it smells. I don’t think we would stay again.

I was charged a $150 deposit and the front receptionist was rude telling me I saw the $150 deposit. When I didn’t! It was late when I checked it and wasn’t going to argue with a grown ass man! Luckily I had the extra $150 while on vacation with my fiancé . Smh !! Horrible experience and very very rude

I stayed here due to good reviews and great pricing but I would never stay here again! The staff was friendly and helpful so no complaints there, however I was charged a separate fee of $12 a night after paying for the room that they dont tell you about. Which makes staying here not worth it anymore. You might as well stay at a nicer hotel. Biggest problem was noise!! You can hear every noise from other rooms( voices, music, footsteps, doors, restroom etc.) The noise is enough to keep you up and not allow you to get a good rest. The cleanliness could also be better. The surfaces felt dirty and sticky, the walls looked dirty and stained, and the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed. If it wasnt for the friendly staff I would give this place 1 star.

Very convinient and close to the airport and the staff was very friendly. Rooms were in good condition and fairly clean, the floors were a little dirty, that they took care of the next morning for us. Breakfast was very minimal, by the time we got there there was only cereal, toast and hard boiled eggs left, which was fine and free so no complaints! There was also a waffle maker if that's what you're into. I would stay here again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Safe location just outside San Francisco. Close to the airport, yet very quiet. Free breakfast and parking. A lot of hotels in the area having parking listed in their description, but charge an extra $10-20 per night.

For the third time that I stayed here, this is the first time I did not satisfied because I was so shocked that they charged me for $150 deposit for a night then $12 too, $150 deposit for this basic hotel, its okay if this is like a big hotel but its not a $150 deposit make sure return it to me, Not satisfied in the room because AC is not working, heater is working but men we dont need heater because its hot in the room, No Aircon at all. This is the last time I will stay, just disappointed.there is soap but no shampoo, there is conditioner.

This is a great little hotel. The outside is a bit funky looking (just old and in a not so beautiful area of town) but the interior reveals an older hotel that has been well kept and is extremely comfortable. It was a perfect place to get a nice looong nap after flying in super late from NYC. The bed was super soft and comfortable, had block out curtains, and feather pillows. The staff who greeted us (think it was Jamel) was super friendly and accommodating and actually really cheered us up after a fairly harrowing flying and car rental experience. Highly recommend especially if you just need something super comfy and close to the airport.

A return visit with a nice surprise. New furnishings, carpets, and bed. Good WiFi and quiet ac/heater. Family owned and everyone is always pleasant. Great price and close to freeway access. Only wish they had a self serve laundry.

Excellent for the price. Easy to get to and in a safe location. Parking was free, plentiful, well lighted, and right at the hotel. The room was VERY clean and smelled fresh. Our room appears to have fresh paint. We got room touch up service every day. Breakfast is free so I don’t see how anyone can complain. Juice, coffee, waffles, muffins, boiled eggs, lunch meat, cheese and bread. Also had cereal and oatmeal packets. Soooo glad we stayed here instead of double the price in the city. Never even once did we feel unsafe or easy. Would definitely recommend for a no frills hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed with my family for 2 nights. The overall stay was pretty good. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice. Hotel was clean. During the night our AC heater was not working but since the weather was pretty nice we didn't ask hotel staff to fix it.

This hotel was a quiet,smaller hotel with an excellent staff!
Janmesh was delightful and he was there for anything we needed.We felt as if were staying with family!
The hotel is close to the airport and freeways and located well as to getting around. The breakfast buffet was very good and kept restocked and we left each morning satisfied. Never had a problem with parking even when we arrived back late.
Don't hesitate to stay with these fine folks!

Surprise surprise if you drive anything bigger than a regular vehicle you're going to be billed a $30 fee that is not even listed in the description of the property. Breakfast was poor you're better off going to the McDonald's right up the street

This Hotel is a straight shot from the Long Term parking in SFO. So the location is ideal for travelers. After a long flight, driving on one street to get to your resting place is ideal. The place looks clean enough . Our children were sick and vomited twice on thier bed. The staff brought new sheets both times and didn't charge us extra for it. We really appreciate the understanding and support the staff gave us on a challanging return home from vacation. Definitely reccomend staying here.

This hotel stay was a very great experience, great price on the hotel and free parking was a plus! Also they were very nice during check in and the breakfast was great, waffles and fruit, oatmeal, muffins, meat and cheese, cereal, juice, toast and more! I read the reviews before my stay and a few people seemed dissatisfied, but not me. If you're expecting this place to be the plaza hotel, you'll be disappointed. This was one of the better places I've stayed at in SF for what type of hotel this is, and I plan to stay here again! Thanks to the friendly staff! You guys were very nice!

The check in process was a little long, being close to the airport you have international travelers and they took a while to get checked in. Other than that, the stay was good and the room was very clean and comfortable. This was a business stay, but I can see bringing my family for a trip here.

Great front desk personnel
We stayed one night. It was a convenient location to get to the airport the next day for an early flight to the east coast. The personnel at the reception desk were so cheerful and welcoming that the road weariness of the past week just melted away. Clean and comfortable.
