Beautiful, classic hotel located on the Lake Caroline walking path. Valet parking was very convenient, the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and I never heard a sound from outside my door.

The bed was clean and fluffy. It gave an old feel due to the furniture. I didn’t like that there was a lot of interconnecting doors to other rooms and there was loud slamming and loud bangs. It made it harder to sleep or stay asleep. Parking is also hefty…Paying $10 daily for parking along with the high rate is definitely for very short trips

I feel like because we booked through Expedia they gave us the subpar version of the King room with Mandalay view. I have a sense that they set aside these lower versions of what is supposed to be a higher end tier room. This has happened a few times so far-I think I’m getting a good deal on a better tier room and at check in the desk people put us in what they believe Expedia booking should be and not what a regular person booking through the hotel site would get. This particular room had peeling wallpaper, an old beat up tub, and in general looked a bit worn and dated. I don’t truly know if the rooms themselves just needed a refresh but I will say it looked worn for the level of room it was. We were in room 2611.
I gave this property 4 stars overall as there were definitely some areas for improvement. We stayed for New Year’s Eve 2023 and booked a king room with the Mandalay view. The view itself was beautiful. Looking out as the sun set and at sunrise was the best part of this room. The dining area also is not a cozy type of dining area but very open so when guests are arriving and leaving you can see all that motion. The seats also in the restaurant left much to be said, they were very uncomfortable. We usually book at the Marriott nearby for our staycation and decided to take a chance on the Omni but I think we will not return to Omni.
Overall, the view was great but the rooms and amenities need to be refreshed.

Watch out Dallas-Omni, your sister property at Las Colinas is the new chick in town. Brighter, better and maybe even smarter too. This hotel won’t be Dallas’s best kept secret for long. Staff, accommodations, central location and so much more. I’ll def be back.

I finally got a piece of the pie.
Beautiful room on 25th floor overlooking canal. Fresh bedding, crisp and white. Cool temperature in room with easy to adjust thermostat. Great pool and bar area. Everything is first class.

The staff is amazing! Always courteous and attentive. The Hotel was great although a little dated. I suspect there is a remodel on the horizon. Our room (1806) was fine, no major complaints. Our refrigerator never worked but we were in and out a few times, so not a big deal. We also had to have an iron brought up because ours was missing. Also, we were surprised to see a power strip used for power due to lack of outlets. Everything aside, our room was quaint (the telephone by the toilet was a nice touch)with a great view! Any slights to the building were far overshadowed by the excellence of the staff. I would be happy to stay at the Omni again.

The Great Mini Getaway!!!
The hotel is very nice. The view from the room was excellent. The staff was very nice and accommodated everything we needed. Wished we could have stayed another day, but will definitely stay there when we are back in town.

Nice size rooms, attention to detail, sending requests via Text asking if anything is needed like clean towels, etc. Location is great and not far from stadiums, downtown Dallas, and all reachable by Uber.

I stay here fairly often. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean. My only real concern is that more often than not, the sidewalks are blocked by vehicles. It’s just frustrating to have to walk around all the time.

Needs updating
Our room didn’t get cleaned after the first night which was unacceptable for this property. Finally got clean towels brought up after 2 calls. Love the bar area and location of property. Have stayed here many times over the years. Rooms , especially the bath, need some updating. A disappointing stay.

Hotel was overall fine, as I have stayed before. Due to the 50th anniversary celebration in Las Colinas it was crowded so food service was slower then normal. Front desk refused to apply my omni hotels loyalty number. This was highly strange as they have always applied it in the past and considering my company books over 250 hotel nights a year and mostly with Omni I was really surprised but I will call the Omni conceirge and get it corrected next week. Hotel staff working the event and mixing with guests were great and helpful.

Property last few years a little dated. Staff services is great and professional. Bar is well suited, reasonably staffed. Elevators are fast and convenient. Self parking entrance gate painfully inoperable.

Located in the Las Colinas area. Close the the Toyota Pavillion, Restaurants within walking distance as well as on site. Near the Irving Convention Station and Urban Center Station for the Dallas light rail. Near DFW Airport.
The Omni Las Colinas is in a great location, clean, and has a very professional staff.

Reasonably nice hotel. The ice machine was broke on my floor. They didn't really seem to care. When I called to tell him they said well there's one that works two floors down from you. Food selection is scarce.

This was our first time staying at the Omni or visiting Las Colinas. The hotel is located right along the river walkway. It was within walking distance of several food restaurants. Beautiful hotel and excellent service.

Everything was excellent until we got to the bar me n my husband sat there and no one offered to help we had to call someone for help . We sat there and other people where being helped and we got there before they did we where very disappointed.. Other thank that everything else was amazing..❤️

No-one helped my disabled son & I to take our luggage to our room. We took a trolley by ourselves.
There is no shuttle to the airport from this hotel.
The person checking me in charged me $300 for what they said was “incidentals”, but I think this was actually a deposit for any breakages.
The decor generally is looking a bit tired rather than modern.
They don’t provide a map of the hotel and nearby services, restaurants etc.
The ability to buy food and drink 24 hours was great when we didn’t need a big meal.

Very nice hotel can't go wrong staying here. Good window views as well especially at night. I stayed here twice two weekends in a row. Only thing i had a issue with the last time was the bed wasn't as soft as the first time but it still was a great experience. Pool area is nice snd a good place to get some good pictures at night.

Our stay was ok. The property is gorgeous and the canals are nice and romantic to walk around. The rooms and bathrooms are definitely dated. Our shower was leaking, the toilets are really low (I'm 6'4) and the sinks were just eh. But the room was clean and quiet.
Overall, was ok for one night. Wouldn't stay longer. The property is gorgeous. And the staff...absolutely amazing. So kind and pleasant. Beyond helpful.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The second night thought we had an issue with someone smoking down the hall from us. There are signs posted outside near the pool about no smoking there as well however, there was a large group of people who were smoking cigars right outside the rear entrance which was very frustrating since we are allergic to the smoke. We weren’t really able to enjoy the pool as much as we wished.

Our AC started leaking from the ceiling around 11:30 pm, we had to pack up, change clothes and go downstairs to get another room. They were accommodating. The facility itself is outdated but the new room was a little better. The beds were not very comfortable unfortunately. The pool area was nice and it’s in a great location, close to the convention center. Coffee shop was good!

It’s in a nice area. Front desk and morning staff where great and would go beyond to help you out. Place is kinda 70-80 style dated but very clean. Bar and restaurant area was disappointing in the evening very short staffed and close at 11. Even if area is full of customers they start shut down around 10:15. As a vacationing couple they don’t cater as advertised in our opinion especially for a weekend nights.
