This was not a pleasure trip. My mother was at a local facility, the Dunlop. On the last day 1/12/24 she passed away in the middle of the night and staff management allowed my daughter and I to stay there through the day beyond checkout time to take care of personal issues . It was absolutely the kindest gesture and I thank you!

Let’s do it again
Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel and room was clean and cozy. Quiet and friendly. Kayla and the rest of the staff was courteous and friendly to my entire family. I loved that it is located in the perfect location if you needed to go to the stores.

This location is in the midst of a lobby reconstruction, if you can look beyond that and the possible hiccup of checking in - the staff’s hospitality and service made up for any doubts we had! Overall still a great, clean stay.

They were renovating this property, so there was a lot of construction material. Outside, part of the driveway was closed, and the check-in area was completely demolished, and a makeshift one was set up in the hallway. There was no explanation of this prior to making the reservation, nor was there any compensation for the inconvenience, the staff were very nice and made the best of it. The room was clean and comfortable.

The property was nice and updated, clean and the staff was very friendly. This was the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at. The only thing was there was no hot water.
We will stay there again when we are in the area.

Checking in was a breeze. The girl at the front desk had to be one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. She helped me with places to go and gave great tips. Place is super clean as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent especially Manager Sheldon Gregory. I left a CPAP machine behind and his staff found it and he sent it home to me overnight. He and his staff went above and beyond!

Cold hot tub
It was good except for the fact they talked up the pool and hot tub and neither was in good shape. Pool was 70 degrees and hot tub was 75. That is NOT a hot tub. We let the desk know and checked back about 3 hours later with no change.
Very disappointed to no be able to enjoy an amenity that we chose the hotel for

Hotel was nice. Upper floors were being renovated, but was still quiet. Our toilet had some issues. Two of our lights had a short and would flick on and off unless the switch was off.

Comfortable bed but cold showers
We didn’t have any hot water for showers. Room 223. We left the hotel staff know and they said they would check into it and we went 2 more days with cold showers while dealing with a death in the family.

Staying for a night, very friendly and helpful stuff, quite and beautiful surroundings.
I took a king size bedroom, it's a nice and comfortable, very clean. The only thing that bothered me was the floor in the walking shower, it made that noise that I was afraid it will crack under me... Beside that, everything was good.

It was convenient location; quiet and clean; has very limited parking in front of the property; but they held our reservation even though we arrived late; the swimming pool was closed and they should list this if its not available had we arrived earlier we would have liked to utilize it; breakfast looked commercial not fresh; microwave blew out while heating up the packet of grits so we headed to the Waffle house for to eat breakfast instead; for the cost there should be shower caps and other supplies in the bathrooms.

Disgusting—-bed bugs
Here goes. Ants in room 223, cockroaches in laundry room, treadmills didn’t work, smoke smell throughout, Wi-Fi didn’t work in my end of the building, carpeting was disgusting, and to top it off…bed bugs in room 223. When I brought live bed bugs in a water bottle to the from desk they did give me another room which had even dirtier carpet and stunk like smoke. (I Travel heavily and never in my life seen actual bed bugs.) The Manager offered a hollow apology and 30,000 Hilton Honors points. A week later still no points and when I call no one knows anything. He admitted knowing that the Wi-Fi was down in my end of the building. Being that this was a work trip that was an added hassle I could’ve done without.

Bed Bugs. Avoid!
Horribly uncomfortable bed, ants all over room 223, treadmills in gym did not work, cockroaches in laundry room, Wi-Fi did not work in my end of the building, carpets were disgusting, and to top it off BED BUGS in room 223. When I brought bed bugs to the front counter in a water bottle they did move me to a different room which was equally gross. Manager promised me 30,000 Hilton Honors points for my trouble. A week after leaving I have no points and no one from the hotel knows anything. When I mentioned the Wi-Fi the Manager apologized but admitted they knew it was a problem. Once loyal I’m done with Hampton!

Room decor pleasing but bathroom tile old and tile grout dirty. Bathroom door stuck when opening and closing. Window sheers in bedroom torn, ragged, and need to be replaced. No trash can in bedroom. Bedskirts need to be pressed.

Facility was clean, staff very very pleasant.The bathtub can use a deeper cleaning, shower curtain wouldn't stay closed so water ended up getting on the floor. The chairs in the room needed cleaning, stains on all of them. Other than that was pleased with my stay.

There was no cleanliness of the rooms. Lightbulbs need to be changed as the lamps did not work. The phone did not work either. I had to request a room change because of the lack of cleanliness and the odor in the first room. The second room had hair follicles and other particles in the sheets. I requested a room change again but there was no availability in the hotel. The staff was pretty responsive to my concerns.

Hotel was great, but our RV was broken into while it was parked on the property. Not the hotel's fault but there is crime in the area.

While I understand that during these times, businesses are short staff but I found that the room was not clean. The bathroom was not in top condition…updates to the rooms might be needed. I’ve enjoyed staying at this hotel because it is close to VSU and other establishments. I hope it can go back to what it was like in 2019. Best of luck! Staff was friendly

I booked to this hotel because my daughter just graduated from basic training and wanted to swim. I chose this hotel because it said they had an indoor pool and jacuzzi. When we got there it wasn't open. We were all extremely disappointed!!! Our air-conditioning made horrible noises. Parts the ceiling was falling down and our light outside the bathroom would go on and off by itself. And the doorknob in bathroom fell off while we were in it. The hall ways were so hot you couldn't stand to leave the room.

Was convenient to I-95. Room needs new carpeting, a less noisy AC. Was set at 60 degrees! Light next to bed was missing. Two shower heads, one broken. Refrigerator was a solid block of ice. Lady serving breakfast was nice. Back parking lot rather dirty. Overall, not the Hampton Inn quality we are accustomed to.

The elevators were missing buttons to the various floors and the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room was bad. Hair in the tub, hair conditioner on the wall of the shower, and mildew on the shower stall walls. AC had no way ro adjust the fan speed.

OK but won't be back
Our room was OK. The main issue was that the floor was wet by the air conditioning unit and there were a few ants. When we checked out, no one was at the desk for us to tell. There was also an issue with the elevator for another couple; it would not go to the 4th floor. At check-in, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Bathroom needed major repairs. The tiles were falling off the wall, as was the shower faucet. The whole place smelled like sewer and there was a spider in the bedroom.

They were to call when it was ready, after over
2 hours went back and was put in the wrong room. Had to go back to front desk to get it changed. The elevator only worked on one side
and could not get on it because cleaning buggy
was left on it. Would not stay again.
