This property does not qualify to be a Best Western PLUS status as it is aged, worn, very weak appearance and in bad condition. We needed to stay an extra night but checked out to pay more at Hamptons Suites = disappointed.

Sweet stay
Nice and cozy hotel! We came out for a wedding and found this little gem. Beds are nice and comfy and room temp was awesome. The only thing we had problems with was some leaking underneath the sink (visible stains when dumping out cold coffee) and a light bulb that was out in the bathroom, both of which can be remedied by maintenance. Would recommend also because of breakfast being included with this stay!

Good overnight in Surprise
We had a good nights sleep but there were other issues. The BW is being remodeled and the improvements are going in the correct direction - TV, desk, dresser, bathroom overall, and bed are improved. The toilet set is original and the finish is worn thru, doors worn, and the AC is noisy and has limited regulation so more items to go on remodel. The smell of smoking permeated the halls from time to time so something the hotel needs to look into.

Great and relaxing and convenient place to stay

Quick overnight in Surprise
A good comfortable stay. Many of the hotel rooms have been updated. Front desk is helpful, friendly, and effective. The area is quiet yet close to shopping and dining options.

My room was clean which I liked. The staff were personable. Though I left before breakfast was served, I appreciated that was something that was available.
My AC unit was very noisy, and I awakened many times when it turned on. This is a common occurrence in other facilities other than Best Westerns. Overall, I was pleased with the accommodations.

I was greeted and welcomed by the BW staff. I received my keys and went to check out the room. I had reservations through Expedia for a king size bed. I found that I had two queen size beds instead. All of their king size beds were taken. We made it work! It was too hot, 119°, to have a heated discussion. The breakfast had a great variety. The kitchen employee kept everything well stocked and she was very friendly.

This hotel is in a very convenient location. It’s 7 minutes away from the Surprise Stadium which is where we needed to go. There are a ton of stores and fast food in the same lot. It’s not fancy but it’s very clean which I appreciated. Breakfast is just okay. They offer cereal, oatmeal, hot waffles that you make yourself, some kind of egg and sausage and sometimes they’ll have breakfast potatoes which are actually pretty good. If you’re gluten free like me, they offer a couple gluten free cereals and yogurt. They offer regular coffee and they had an espresso machine. What really made this stay enjoyable for me was the staff and how clean the property was. I think they’re putting in new carpet because they had someone cutting carpet in the parking lot so that’s great. I usually hate how dirty hotel carpets are, but these carpets were pretty clean. If you’re looking for a clean hotel, then you won’t be disappointed. Every single person that worked the desk was amazing. Even the lady who worked the breakfast room. She’s super sweet and bubbly. I lost a dollar on the dryer (the washer and dryer needs quarters) and the lady working that night went out of her way to help me with the dryer and even gave me my money back. Overall it was a really good stay. To pay $105-120 a night for a room was definitely worth it.

Unfortunately I had 2 employees that stayed here during the fire. However, When I called to follow up on this property they were excellent to work with abut getting reimbursed without any pushback. I will definitely look to book them again next year.

The free breakfast was above what we expected. Fresh and clean and plenty of choices. We were disappointed the hot tub was not working and the pool was not heated. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Very nice 1 night stay on our travels through Arizona. Great buffet breakfast was included. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the near by plazas. There was a washer and dryer in the building that we were able to do our laundry which was a big plus for us.

We stayed here to visit relatives wintering nearby. Our room was clean and quiet. Staff was nice. Breakfast was provided with waffles, cereal, yogurt, etc. each day plus different hot items each day like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, burritos, etc. There is a nice outdoor pool but it was only 40 degrees out so we didn't use it. There is a Carl's Jr next door. A shopping center is across the street with Target, Barnes and Noble and other stores. Chick Filet, Del Taco, Olive Garden as well as a CVS are nearby. Many more choices on Bell Road. Overall a good location for us. Will stay again.

Hospitality who??
Upon arriving at 2am we were told our reservation was cancelled and we would have to book a new room and pay an early check in fee. My hotels.com confirmation said check in until 5 am- now I was charged twice for 5 hours at the hotel- zero customer service and hospitality

The room was very nice as well as clean with comfortable bed & pillows. Slight downside-the breakfast bar had scrambled eggs that were mixed with potatoes…rather than plain separate scrambled eggs. And not sure if a meat was ham or spam, rather than bacon. They offered good coffee. Pool & hot tub refreshing, hot tub could use a net to remove a bit of floating debris.

I recommend this hotel !!
The hotel was in a good location since all my family lives in the area. The price was good, the room was comfortable as was the bed. It was a good sized room and included a Keurig Coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The free breakfast was good and nice selection. The staff were friendly and respectful.

Stayed 5 nights. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Situated closed to shopping areas in Surprise (it's right next to a Lowe's and Target).
The rooms are quiet and there is a decent selection of DirecTV channels, including free HBO.
The breakfast buffet is limited but filling - two waffle stations, two hot items (typically an egg dish and either bacon, sausage or potatoes), plus a few bread selections, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and cereals.
Buffet is offered daily from 6:30a - 9:30a. Coffee & juice are available 24/7 in the kitchen/buffet area, which is nice since the in-room Keurig machine & coffee pods are horrible/undrinkable.
The bathroom is decent but basic with basic shampoo, conditioner & lotion amenities, plus a hair dryer. Showerhead height is great - above my head. And the water pressure from the showerhead is so strong, you could probably strip a piece of wood!
There's also a microwave & mini-fridge which is great for keeping leftovers or for grocery supplies.
Bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. I did not try the sofa bed in the adjoining seating area. Linens are white, clean and new - no old-fashioned coverings.
Please note that there is no daily housekeeping service, although supplies are always available at the front desk, and service is available if requested.
The staff were all friendly, courteous, helpful and attentive.
All-in-all, a good experience - I would stay here again.

When I woke up in the morning, I found a bed bug under the pillow! I wouldn't want to stay there anymore and checked out. And they refused to even give refund for the other 2 nights I didn't even stay. Stay away from this property!

I booked this hotel for my mom’s birthday retreat, under the pretense that she would be able to enjoy amenities like the pool and the jacuzzi in the hot Arizona weather. The pools was green, dirty and not available for guest. The jacuzzi was open for one day of her stay and was closed off the rest of her time there. When contacted the management they said they were unable to compensate her in any way because the trip was booked on Expedia. I’m mad!!

Location great, parking well lit and ample, breakfast was mediocre, I assume powdered eggs, and frozen cheese omelets, coffee good attendant did great job. Room carpet, needed a shampoo 6 months ago. Maid service as requested except they forgot to tell us they needed a 24 hour notice, bathrooms met expectation, our A/C was worn out, and room oder was musty.

The hotel is old & needs to be updated badly. At check in, the agent didn’t tell us anything about the property; no info on breakfast, the pool, our “free drinks” that we’re supposed to be included - nothing. The AC in the common areas worked great but it was hit & miss in the room & of course seemed to work in the middle of the night but not the heat of the day. We had to argue to get housekeeping service & got it once during a 5 night stay. We were told we had to throw our trash, call the desk for towels, etc. Problem is that nobody answers when you call & when you go down there’s always a sign that they’ve stepped away. The carpet was filthy. My 9 year old was barefoot in the room one day and after she hopped on the bed & I saw how black her feet were we realized we needed to keep our flip flops on. I had to put her in the bathtub to wash her feet. It was disgusting; no different than if she were running around outside. Also, there’s no cold or cool water from the sink or shower.
Went to the desk on 3 occasions and kept being told a manager would reach out but nobody ever did.

Hotel was close to shopping centers (in the Lowe's parking lot) and restaurants. Pool was heated and medium sized. There aren't a ton of staff at night and a sticky spill near the elecator took a half day to clean up. Elevator is a little slow but there are only 3 floors of the hotel.
