We loved the hotel, except for parking issues. There is a notification on the hotel website that there are only a few parking spots available for as many rooms as they have. And, at $45 a night to park at the hotel, be prepared to spend a few hundred more dollars and, perhaps, find a place to park away from the hotel at about the same price.

Staff was always very helpful. Parking lot was full a couple days but offsite parking available about a 5 minute walk. Room was clean and comfortable but very small. We are used to close quarters as we have a small travel trailer. Housekeeping staff were very accommodating!

Everything was up to holiday inn express standards except the parking situation. There were no spots available and we had to walk 4 blocks to a garage every time we parked for the entire week we were there. Very inconvenient.

The Airconditioning was Loud and wake us up every time it turns on!!! Absolutely ridiculous and annoying!!! Parking was not included but the web site said it is.

Great breakfast buffet and everything is in walking distance. Beach, restaurants, food trucks, shopping are all close. The only reason for 3 stars. Is our room. It’s super small and had too much in the room. The worst part was the air conditioner right on the bed at your head. It’s a loud old window unit. You can’t open the other window so you have to use the ac. Other than that the hotel is very nice and the staff are all very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was great. Our room was very small. Like half the size of those regular hotel rooms inland. Area was great tho cuz there 3 different shopping areas within 7-10 min. Waikiki Beach is amazing and so close. The pool was okay, not very big. Def not warm and hot tub was kind of dirty... Parking was horrible. Half the days I had to park down the street. Parking cost is crazy too... Almost $50 per night. The staff were very nice and kind. Not sure I would stay again except the location was great and it helps to have one meal accounted for each day (and the variety was decent).

Excellent property. Had some difficulty with hot water but it was addressed properly. Parking was inadequate but acceptable. We had a great stay.. returning in February. The staff excellent.

This is a perfect location. the staff and everybody that works There is always smiling always happy. You'll never be in a bad mood if you stay here. They do have free breakfast but it is definitely a mad house. So be prepared that everyone takes advantage of this breakfast. And it is busy every minute that it's offered. other than that, Definitely love the amenities that are included. It's cute little Mini golf, chess, and pool area. Definitely love that feature and I would stay again

The location was great - close to beach, shopping & restaurants. Staff was friendly & helpful.
Price was reasonable for the location.
The pools were great.
Breakfast was usually cold by the time we got down there. But hey, it was free. They did change the menu daily though.

Breakfast was good and convenient. Rooms are small but comfortable. Air conditioner makes too much noise but there was also a ceiling fan which we used more. The maintenance team was great In fixing a couple of items which were broken.

It's a nice property with good amenities. Convenience to strip but not on strip. Have stayed here before because of this. Access to anything or ease of excursion pickup, etc.. Staff is great, friendly and responsive. The breakfast is okay, but nothing remarkable.

Rooms are on the small side, so be aware of that. No balconies and the partial ocean view you can see the ocean for some really nice sunsets. If you’re looking for the basics you found it. I really liked the included breakfast, saves a bit of money in time. Good location close to everything I feel or a Lyft or Uber is really easy to get. A 10 minute walk in any direction gets you to food trucks some shopping or local restaurants.

Extremely small rooms. A family with two adults and two kids was very tight fit. We did not have enough room for all our bags and people.
The staff was very friendly, and good entertainment amenities... But the small rooms will deter us from staying there again

Rooms are very small. Parking situation is bad not enough spaces then they tell you to park blocks away.
Very small pools for the amount of people that they accommodate. Breakfast was the same thing every day. And when they did change it and added waffles and potatoes they ran out after about hour.

We stayed here for 1 week while we were in Hawaii. The hotel is located in a great location very close to all shopping, restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed having free breakfast as breakfast places in Waikiki were very expensive. We had the basic minimum 1 bedroom king bed. The room is very small. The hotel is great if you’re just looking for something basic at a good location.

The property was under construction at the time. Sad we were not able to experience the pool. Loved the play deck. We had 2 beds in a beautifully designed room and bathroom, which was a little tight for my big hips. Limited parking was difficult on 1 night out of 3. Great breakfast. Good location when driving into Waikiki and great to for walking.

Had a great time there. Stayed 2 nights before our cruise then another 4 nights after. Was a great location near everything.
Would recommend it to everyone even stay there again if I ever got to go to Hawaii again.

Convenient walk to the beach! Very close to the main strip. Plenty of options for shopping and dining nearby (within 10 minutes). Loved our stay here and will definitely be back! One thing to note is that the parking is very expensive. It was more expensive than our rental vehicle for the time that we stayed. If you can, try to find parking elsewhere.

The property has bad parking I wouldn’t suggest it for the ones that want to travel the island.if you pay for the parking, when your heading out of the parking lot it requires you to have your ticket validated even if you already paid, bieng 44 floors I think holiday can easily have a person inside the booth at parking enabling easier parking access.

No guaranteed parking in structure. Very expensive parking also. $49 a day extra. My car also got scratched from people attempting to break in to it parked on the curb on the street just outside of the property.

We booked this hotel because it came with breakfast, a microwave, and a fridge. With our family, it was a decent walk to the beach. We had toddlers and no stroller, I would recommend bringing one. The pool was not kid friendly so that was a huge disappointment. Our room had several things that needed to be fixed. The mini fridge was on its last leg and the tub would not work so our toddlers couldn't take proper baths. Maybe it was just a fluke for the room we got, we asked to get a new one and were unable to. Overall it was fine but I don't think I'd stay again based on our experience.

I liked the location which is convenient to many places around.
Didn't like staff at reception, not so friendly and doesn't care about helping newcomers to Hawaii. Too rude.

staff was very rude and were behaving as if they were doing us a HUGE favor by even answering questions especially check-in/reception area.
I understand its a busy holiday season but this is exactly the right time when they have to up their game to keep everyone welcoming, at least by putting a smile on their face and not give a poker expression

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week in December and didn’t rent a car. We ride the bus from hotel to Kualoa Ranch and took Lyft to some further places. Their parking on the third floor and self operating washer dryer on site. We also made use of the free breakfast daily, they serve delicious breakfast and some days we to go our breakfast to our room. Room is not big but their rooms are all small. So read the size of the room before you book. We got a great deal on Expedia and traveled on a budget. The hotel is newly renovated and clean, they offer daily room service till the afternoon. Overall we are extremely satisfied with holiday inn and will consider coming back again next time!

From check-in until check-out we were completely satisfied with the comfort and service of this hotel. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly - we didn’t have a single negative experience while staying here. Our room was perfect - and our view spectacular. The breakfast is the best of any Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever stayed at. Unique local dishes along with the HIE mainstays (cinnamon rolls!) 10/10 - will definitely be choosing this hotel on our future trips to Honolulu!

The hotel has a great location. Very easy walk to restaurants and beach. But the room was extremely small and very hot due to the fact the windows had direct sun all day & even with the a/c on we were sweating to death in our room. Also the breakfast buffet had very few options and was disappointing.
