Married with a view
I got married at the Edgewater and it was a fantastic experience. I decided to book a room the night before the wedding at the last minute, which is why I booked one night on hotels.com, but the entire experience from start to finish was wonderful!

Quaint and unique music-based property with lots of history, rustic rooms with very cool fireplace/heater feature. The “over water” window was fantastic and calm. The bar and food options were great and love music a nice benefit, as well as the record player you can borrow.

The water view is fantastic. A fireplace in the bedroom so nice! And clawfoot soaking tub very nice. Lovely and quiet. Enjoyed the seagulls too.

The ocean is outside our window! Watching the sun, go down and come up. Listening to the birds outside the window in the morning. The reflection of the lights from the city on the water the birds out in the morning.

We did have an issue with a bed in the first room being uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The staff were great an moved us into a different room and resolved the issue for us. We love the location and the in-house restaurant was excellent!

The comfiest clean, & accepting of doggo; but...
Well, we started off amazing, with finding out that they are not only dog-friendly, as we'd researched, but they are REALLY welcoming to them! Our dude got a complimentary BED! (and food+water dish) (to keep!) The concierge was so kind, valet included. Then it got a little wobbly, with entering a room that was not what we booked, we walked in to see the parking lot (albeit fireworks side), when we had booked a water- over the water balcony view. We had arrived promptly for check-in as we didn't want to miss the sunset shortly after 4pm, so we were a little unexpectedly worried. They got us into a water balcony room, thank goodness, but unfortunately not a Supreme suite, as I'd paid for. So we got our view (and a price adjustment) but a very small room for us 3. We weren't begrudged really, things happen... but it was frustrating being a perfectionist, and it being our anniversary + NYE experience. To top it off, when we went to get NBC channel 5 set up, for the space needle fireworks, it was the only channel they didn't have... Their "contract with this channel has expired"; and we booked a hotel room literally to hide away and watch the ball drop in our pjs... We did discover Chromecast, however, and thank goodness we have Hulu Live TV, but imagine if we hadn't... Also- when I went to use the phone to ask FD about it, the handheld was broken! Antenna missing. My boyfriend got it to work by pushing hard, but we already decided to just walk and find the needle view... Oh well!

Not worth the price
Hotel is outdated for the price. Heat and fire place didn’t work. Bathroom floors are freezing. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant and lobby were beautiful. I’ve stayed here several times over the years but this will for sure be my last. There are too many better options around for the same price

Great hotel, convenient location
The hotel was great, rooms were comfortable and clean. The valet service is a must since there is no other parking available. This is an additional $50. Great location for Seattle center and Pike street

Beautiful, comfortable, a little noisy.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Had a room with a balcony over the water and a view of the Ferris wheel and stadiums. The in-room fireplace is a cozy touch, as is the cute, stuffed bear on the bed.
Be prepared for another good view from the shower. The transparent glass wall/bathroom mirror alignment leaves little to the imagination (in the best way possible).
The only drawback to this place is the sound of upstairs guests walking back and forth from the bed to bathroom, and listening to them swim laps in the clawfoot tub that must have been in their room. If you can, ask for an upper floor room.
Oh, and housekeeping knocked on the door before checkout which made us feel a little rushed. Can be easily remedied by placing the do not disturb card on the door.

For the price, not worth it. Balcony and balcony door covered in seagull poop. Couldn’t go to the balcony. Constant water draining noise from 6am till 9am.

This property is gorgeous! We had a Waterview, we think the price was worth our room. The food was amazing and so are the drinks. Beware, you will pay for it, maybe bring some of your own libations to your room? The service was absolutely amazing and they had a pop-up Christmas bar that was worth the trip into Seattle on its own. We will be back.

We an joyed our fireplace very much.
For old folks, it is not the best location. We lacked the ability to walk to anything outside the hotel. We did drive to a Walgreen Drugs to get some pop, cookies, & candy..

Beautiful inside. Staff amazing. Food options are pricey.
No free parking only $50 valet per night.
Pillows were bad but bed was comfortable.
Rocked in shower is beautiful however the French doors that open into the bathroom are loud to open and close.
Nice fireplace ambience and viewing water.

Everyone we encountered was wonderful - reception, bar staff, cleaning - wonderful. We loved our waterfront room and were able to upgrade to the Pearl Jam Suite - AMAZING.
Sunsets at the bar, entertainment nightly - we will be back!

The room was not as clean as it should be for $500.00 a night. Carpet was soiled, pillows had a bad smell to them.
Rats were everywhere outside.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Food was decent.

Great location, room, service, food & facilities
The location was picked fir it’s proximity to the NCL pier prior to our cruise, it was perfect for that as literally a couple of hundred yards walk.
The room was clean, large, with 2 big comfortable double beds. The decor is maybe slightly ‘tired’ and old fashioned looking but this didn’t impact or spoil our 3 day stay.
The hotel facilities are very good, a small shop with basic goods, coffee, pastries and fruit available to purchase and some souvenirs. There’s an atm in the entrance lobby of the hotel.
The bar and restaurant have perfect views over the bay, the food and the waiting staff are both excellent.

I’ve stayed at the Edgewater many times over the years but this was subpar. First, they didn’t tell me about my VIP credit. Second, trash left in my room. (And yes, I did report it during my stay but no response). Third, when I told the front desk guy I never received my $25 credit, he said to eat at the restaurant and charge the room to get the credit. It didn’t happen. I like the Edgewater. It’s not the most convenient location but I like the history, vibe, and the blueberry muffin at the cafe. But I’ll probably stay somewhere else next time.

Arrived to learn our Expedia reservation wasn't in their system. Then they found it. Two days later they charged us a second time for the room at DOUBLE to first amount. Called to reconcile and got runaround after runaround. Finally left a message to contact me. Crickets. Am now disputing via my cc company. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS HOTEL!

The price of this hotel should mean that it is clean and well maintained… two things I found not the case.
This hotel looks run down in the lobby and our room had cobwebs in one corner. It also felt like it wasn’t cleaned well.
It was also insanely small and the advertised Queen been was more of a double.
The only positive was the location to pier 66 where we caught our cruise.
So many other hotels in the area that I doubt I will be back

It is perfect choice for the night before and after the cruise for people flying to Seattle for cruise trip. Walking distance to Pike Place Market, Chihuly Glass Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park, and many other restaurants.

Great hotel and staff.
Tue hotel, staff, room was great. We got in early due to flight schedule. They prechecked us in and held onto our luggage we we walked around sightseeing. The room was clean and roomy. Great view of the harbor. Restaurant had food food also. Really cool that they loan out record players and records!

One of the best locations to stay when visiting Seattle. This is possibly the only hotel ON the water - with excellent water views on Pier 67, dining next to the water; Walking to Pike place. space needle, olympic park etc. Staff was amazing - welcoming and helpful. I plan to go back and visit this property soon.

The room was smelling. It is renovated but still smell. The fridge was not cleaned. We asked for extra towel since we where 3 people and water for half and hour to get it. That hotel is not worth that price

NOISY - DON"T STAY HERE!
Rooms are incredibly noisy. The front desk put us in our first room assuring us it was a king room, but it was not. They then argued with us over the phone that it was a king bed when clearly it was a twin bed (room 356, check for yourself). To make things right they moved us to a "nice corner room with a view" (room 380). What they didn't tell us is that the metal dock outside makes a horrible screaching noise every time a boat goes by. They also didn't tell us that the room above us was a meeting room so at 6am we were woken up to feet pounding on the ceiling an furniture being dragged around. DON"T STAY HERE.

Very very pricey so the value is not there. Room was tiny, couldn’t move around. The closet doors were broken so I couldn’t put clothes away. Breakfast was terribly expensive and although was tasty, again not worth the price. Would not recommend, very aged facility.

Older building, smelled old, extremely long hallways. It was a long walk to our room from the elevator. Nice decor. Excellent views of both the city and the water. Restaurant was over rated. Great location. Walking distance to waterfront and Norwegian Cruise Port.

Staff was excellent. Our room was very disappointing. Hair was left in the shower drain. My bathroom floor mat was soaking wet. Can’t confirm but think our bed sheet wasn’t replaced or just dirty. Hotel itself was beautiful. Again the staff was very kind and helpful.

Disappointing experience at the Edgewater. The bathroom obviously hadn’t been serviced well, the toilet had mold in the bowl, there was broken glass under the cabinet and the dispensers in the shower were empty. The night was very noisy, with plumbing noises and nearby rooms carrying in.
Room was nice, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant.

I feel that for the price that water bottles should be provided for free in the rooms. Also out of 4 nights our room was only cleaned entirely two times. Garbage was forgotten one time. The hotel is beautiful but the cleanliness needs improvement.

Cruise Ship view.
Our thousand dollar a night room with a water view smelled. Our view was blocked by a cruise ship. Something they fail to mention. They charge you to park. Its an extra 68 dollars with the 20% automatic gratuity. Which everything in the hotel includes this. Room service for two drinks and a slice of pie was $78 dollars. Rooms were nice, just smelly. And if you are planning on paying with a debit card be prepared to have twice the amount of the room in the account. They freeze the cost of the room when you check in and then charge you the full amount when you check out. The amount frozen takes 3 to 5 business days to go back into your account. Pets are $100 a night here.

Very crowded weekend in Seattle for many different events and major construction going on in the waterfront area! Accommodation very nice and staff responsive just a shame everyone took advantage of the situation to jack up prices!!

My boyfriend and I loved this hotel, the interior is absolutely beautiful with a view of the bay and coziness of a cabin feeling. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was a walkable distance to Pike's place and a couple minute drive to the needle. We also loved the restaurant six seven, we ended up eating there late at night after travelling and enjoyed it so much we ate there multiple times during our trip. Even if we didn't go far, just staying at the hotel for sunset and watching the view from inside was worth it.

Our ac would never get cool, we had a “water view” that consisted of men working, throwing boxes and yelling from early morning until late at night. Not worth the $3k for 3 nights AT ALL. Have to pay for valet every single time you park, limited amenities for what you pay for. Will stay somewhere else next time.
