Room had strong cigarette smell. The bed was lumpy. There was one serving of coffee available. You had to go to front desk to get ice. The rooms were not cleaned even after putting out service requested sign. There was no shower wash left in container. I purchased a parfait and it was not edible - not fresh

I give Hotel Indigo 4****
The folks at Hotel Indigo couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. The only negative remark I have is that the room I was in for 8 nights needs to be renovated. The area rug by the couch was torn, for one thing. If I were in the management, I would make certain that each room was ‘perfect’ before the guest checks in.
I reviewed the room when I first checked in and mistakenly claimed there was no little bottles of shampoo, etc. and I take that back. What they have is even better and less wasteful, which is larger bottles anchored to the wall!! Much better than the little bottles, which people sometimes take.

Substandard experience
We came to town for the Navy graduation ceremony and to spend time with our graduate. Upon arrival we were checked in by a very friendly but new employee. Our room: cracked tiles and mold in the shower, water damage to the floor by the AC, the floor was raised and uncomfortable to walk on, the shower had one setting which was pressure washer level and extremely uncomfortable, we had to buy a new shower head from Lowe’s to take a shower. The glasses didn’t appear clean. At reception there was a leak filling two large trash cans. The 2nd set of automatic doors wouldn’t open and the maintenance team was standing chit chatting. We manually opened the doors to get inside and they asked how we did that? We placed an order and waited 15 minutes for the bar tender to come back out from where ever and then took someone else’s order, so we left. Our order had been placed with another employee who took it back to the bartender. The walls are very thin and we could hear conversations from multiple doors down in and outside the room. The person in the room above we could hear using the restroom, not just the flush. We have stayed at other Indigo Hotels and unfortunately this one does not measure up to the normal standards of the IHG brand.

Worst hotel experience ever. No parking in front, had to park in the back and walk around to the front as it was getting dark. In the room we discovered 1”swimming worms in the toilet. The back of the toilet seat was grungy, had not even been wiped. Needless to say we did not use the toilet or the shower, got up early and left. Paid for 2 nights and left after one, only stayed because when we arrived we did not have time to book another room. Then had to pay for another night at a different clean hotel.

Comfortable room - bed and sofa with plenty of space. Great location. Clean. No ice machines, but available from staff upon request. No microwave in room. Breakfast not included and not worth playing for. Overall good stay, would return.

I reserved a room with two queen beds. I called on the afternoon of the 29th to confirm that I had reserved two queen beds. When I got to the hotel, they didn't have a room with two queen beds. I've stayed at this property previously, and my experiences have been generally ok. This time it was unacceptable. They also told me theyd have extra blankets and pillows in the room, and they did not. The room also smelled of patchoulai oil.

The room was very clean. Housekeeping was a bit slow but good and the bathroom was way too small. It would also help if you had a microwave in the room.

What we did'nt like was our sink,took a very long time to drain,& When we went to get ice ,the machine was out of order,So we had to go down stairs and bother the employee at the desk to get us ice,He was very pleasant & didnt seem b to mind

Tries but falls a little short
The staff are friendly, but seem short staffed. The amenities are there (pool, fitness room), but not enticing. The room is clean and comfortable, but long in the tooth. The breakfast menu is long, but some items are not very good. Overall, I would stay here on a budget, but I wouldn't really enjoy it. It simply gets the job done.

Won't be staying here again.
I stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was nice. Now, it is rundown, severely lacking in creature comforts, and appears to be operating on a bare-bones staff. Towels were not re-stocked in our room. I called down to the front desk and was told "you're free to come downstairs and get some." Not what I wanted to hear at 6:30 in the morning while I'm in my pajamas. The only perk was coffee in the lobby, which was watered down.

Front desk friendly and helpful. Needs new floor tile. . Wallpaper needs a update tearing off some walls. Only hot water in bathroom sink. Does not have a store to buy newspaper, magazines, toiletries pool toys. Swimming pool cold! Boring for kids nothing to do.

A fire alarm went off around 8pm.
Had to pack up my critical things so they wouldn’t get destroyed/lost in a fire.
Turned out to be inadvertent, but an unnecessary inconvenience regardless.

overall poor accommodations
Noisy, packed with children's teams competing locally and very noisy parents, check in was not attentive and missed allocating chits for paid breakfasts. Breakfast is certainly spartan with limited food choices and not healthy. Kig bed room configuration very strange and cumbersome. Shower not in good working order and half broken. Our stay was based on a nearby family health emergency. I would not stay there again.

No cold water at sink. On last day, no hot water in shower. Upon arrival, noticed carpet in room was frayed at both ends - a serious trip hazard. If hotel really cared, they'd ensure that the rooms are safe and all facilities within the room worked properly before placing a guest there.

Somewhat shabby and formerly chic?
For the price and the location, our stay was fine, but there were aspects of both the design and the service/cleanliness that could have been better. I will acknowledge that I know that all aspects of the service industry are still struggling to recover from the pandemic and economy, and that the hotel was clearly short-staffed, but here are some things that the hotel should consider:
Floor mats for feet-wiping outside the entrance to the pool; a place to collect wet/used towels in or just outside the pool area; better drainage around the pool; double doors separating the pool area from the guest rooms to minimize noise; floor mats inside the entrances to the hotel; carpeting or rugs outside the elevators, especially where rooms are across the way; to-go coffee cups in the rooms; a soap dish on the counter next to the sink, especially with the type of sink basins you have; additional towel racks/hooks/rings near the sink; more cleaning staff! The front desk person shouldn't have to fold towels (or have a large laundry cart of unfolded towels behind the desk). There shouldn't be wet footprints all across the tile and in the elevators. The floor and walls in our bathroom had mild smudges and splatter on them. Also I found the charging of "incidentals," and what that entailed, at this venue somewhat odd. All in all, it wasn't a BAD stay, again, especially for the price, but there were several things in general that struck me as odd, and could be addressed.

Mold in the sink drain washed up when used. Mold in the bathroom floor corners. Shower head loose and would not tighten to height bar. HVAC window unit right next to bed kept blowing cold air directly on us and was noisy. Room layout is totally unfriendly for socializing with your partner or anyone else visiting since theres a divider and insufficient seating for socializing or relaxing for more than one person. "Breakfast" was a series of cold or microwaved items, not a real breakfast as many hotels have - just poor.

Front desk staff was not helpful, housekeeping knocked on the door at 0800 when we had just got there at 9:30 pm and were leaving that day, bed sheets had hair on them and were wrinkled like they had been used, no complimentary breakfast and the rooms are pricey enough there should be, half the outside doors wouldn’t take my key, there is no hot tub, staff in general were rude!! Pick another place, definitely not worth the money.

Hotel is updated nicely, room was clean. Couch was a little lumpy and I don’t think our bed was actually king size as advertised, but it did the job. Breakfast was included, but it was nothing to write home about. We got a coupon for ‘up to 10.00’ for two guests and got to choose from a short list of breakfast sandwiches and items. I’d have rather seen a traditional continental style with waffles and eggs. I wouldn’t have paid for it if they hadn’t included the coupons. The pool was cold but nice and well kept.

Fire alarm went off at 6am on a saturday. I had 4 kids with me from 2 to 17. Noone directed anyone. The door we had to go out went to nowhere. Literally a tree at the bottom of the stairs. Walked barefoot to the lobby, around the building. We all stood in the lobby for 30 minutes while they searched for smoke-fireman talking to the front desk-theres a known issue with the fire alarm they havent fixed. 😡 the clerk said you all can go back to your room now, sorry. We got a room for 6, but breakfast for 2 and could only buy things like a cinnamon roll for the kids. By the time we left the room, after staying one night, we found a pile of trash. Turned that in and the guy says "oh. Sorry." Asked for the manager to call me, he "wrote my name down" and never heard from them. I have since called and left voicemails for the manager, and nothing. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Check in was a slow process with a prebooked reservation. There was an opportunity to have more of the check in contact free. For example handing of credit card and ID to cleek then a signature. Second transaction for 20 dollar incidental. Again trying to minimize contact and a $20 "deposit" transaction is needed?

Sink water was always warm, no cold water. Shower was weak. Toilet clogged easily and overflowed. Water cooler in gym only dispensed hot water. Had to request beddings for sofa bed 3 x before getting them. Room not cleaned thoroughly before we checked in.
