I would stay here again due to the location with many dining options. Seems like a safe area to be around and the staff was great. The place its a bit out dated but very clean nonetheless

The Westin has a beautiful "old style" mixed with modern that makes it elegant. The staff was amazing! When we checked in, Chris was very cordial and Miesha was such a sweetheart during check out. I told her that I "grew up" in the hotel business because my father worked in the business for many,
many years.
Although The Westin is close to a main street it's very quiet.
We really enjoyed betting able to dial room service which was delicious and was delivered by Stacey who was also very courteous as well. We will definitely return the next time we are in San Antonio.

The desk staff, parking, hotel room were all good. The Starbuck's coffee shop was supposed to open at 6am, but we waited for it to open and it still wasn't at 6:30am - very disappointed

I love staying at Westin North, every time I’m in San Antonio I always stay there, wouldn’t pick any other hotel!

The hotel is a bit outdated. No USB or micro outlets. No bedding for the pull out sofa bed. TV’s did not work when we got there. Water leak on the sink and shower. Ballrooms were not big enough for the conference I attended. The bar was mediocre at best. I am a Marriott member, first time to stay at the Westin, probably the last time. The food was average at best. Bellhop and front desk clerks were very nice and helpful. Was expecting a little more considering the room rates. Will stay somewhere else next year for the conference. Probably most outdated Marriott affiliated hotel ever stayed at. Bellhop was very good and helpful.

Security sucks. They broke into vehicles in broad daylight while we were checking in. Found out they had broken into trucks the night before. Needless to say, we left 30 min after checking in! Really bad experience!!

Poor Service-Room in disarray!
Our check in was delayed by 4 hours. Checked in at check in time but staff said room not ready and would call us when ready. Never got call. We had to cancel our anniversary dinner reservations for that evening. Called and spoke to mgr and said room was ready late evening. When went up to room all drawers were wide open, chair cushions on top of desk. Room in utter disarray! Our experience with Omni before Westin bought out was always amazing!!! Westin very very poor service at this location. Made our wedding anniversary celebration very disappointing. Will never go back!!!!!

I had great sleep in these wonderful beds with amazing pillows. The room was nice and clean. Shower was also good with a good showerhead and fully stocked. The a/c didn't work well but it wasnt hot anyways, i just like to sleep with A/C on

Staff was friendly and room was clean as well as the property and amenities. The only downside is you have to pay for wifi. Also, lack of ventilation in the rooms make it pretty hot/humid so you basically have to keep your ac on at all times.

Enjoyable stay!
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located close to some wonderful restaurants. It’s an easy drive to get downtown to the riverwalk or to the shops at La Cantera. Our room had great views, and having both indoor and outdoor pools is great for being able to swim year round.

I enjoy staying at this Hotel, because of the location. Friendly staff and cleanliness. I had requested an upper floor and a City view at the time of booking. I was very disappointed we didnt get the view we wanted. That was the only issue

The hotel itself is really nice compared to others in the same vicinity. The hallways and rooms are clean. The staff is top notch and welcoming. The only minor complaint that I have is the elevator system needs to be upgraded, it's aged and outdated. Other than that, we had a great and quiet stay at this Westin Hotel.

Free parking, close to the restaurants we like, free daily Wall Street Journal, restaurant was open on Christmas morning, TV reception was great, room was cleaned daily, and bar was open.

I liked the hotel, the room and the staff were nice. I didn’t like the breakfast buffet, it was pricey and not much better quality and variety of the ones that offer for free the two stars restaurants, I payed $64 including tip for two. They also charged $9.95 per day for WiFi services.

Not a Wyndham quality property
This property is in disrepair and separately not well maintained. Essentially worn out and not clean. Windows were so dirty you could hardly see out of them. This was a beautiful opulent property 20 years ago but it is time to start over. The carport had oil stains and had not been power washed in 20 years along with an unattractive fountain that was empty and unkept.

Aside from the slight difficulty of turning into the hotel after getting off the highway due to oncoming traffic, the hotel is nice, great staff, and pretty central to reach city attractions such as sea world or the river walk. Very close to shopping as well.

Amie at the front desk was very personable. She was the most thoughtful person I've ever experienced at a hotel. She had some fruit and a card in our room when we returned from the funeral we were in town to attend.
Our room and the lobby were clean, but the floor we stayed on was in disrepair. I noticed some people inspecting the grounds so I'm assuming there will be some updates soon.

They kept blocking off part of the parking lot, and since Hertz gave me a full size truck instead of what I ordered, parking it was a pain. On the last day I was pinned in by other vehicles and couldn't get the truck out of the parking space. I finally gave up and drove it forward over the parking block and into the blocked off area so I could get out and make my plane. Pain in the ass!!!!!!!

Spent all night with no a/c, very uncomfortable. They did not offer an alternative to make my stay better. I reported the issue twice to front desk and all they said was they were aware and were working on it. The a/c got resolved until next morning.

Generally speaking a nice traditional hotel. Jacuzzi at the pool was basically lukewarm, management needs to turn up the temperature. No one to help with luggage is another minus.

Nice hotel. Service was very courteous and friendly. The bed was so comfortable.
Hotel was fairly close to medical center where we were visiting family. I liked the fact that there were many restaurants, gas stations etc. close by this location.

They had some parking blocked also I made a complaint about the kids screaming and slamming doors they said they will send security to their room which they did but I don’t think he really made it a concern because they still did it. They say online BREAKFAST INCLUDED which is false.

This is not a Westin property if compared to other Westin hotels in downtown areas or even the Westin at the Domain in Austin. This property pales in comparison so much it’s almost laughable. The property needs fresh paint, and renovations to the rooms. Pool / hot tub equipment needs to be replaced. I won’t be back to this property.

I booked 2 nights at this property. When we arrived Friday night a car had just been broken into then Saturday during the day 2 more vehicles were broken into. The cops came yet the hotel did nothing. They take no responsibility and refuse to hire security even though this a on going issue at this property. We left Saturday afternoon and still had to pay for both nights.

Parking lot was blocked for most entrances and exits do it was a headache to find my way in and out.
Room was small, bathroom kind of put dated and small, nothing exceptional. But expensive. If they charge high prices there should be something that is over and above what lower priced competition is offering.
