So i came to this hotel after my party cruise so i was worn out. I stayed here for 5 days i asked what time the pool and hot tub would be available. I was told check back tomorrow it's not working at the moment. I was told this for 3 consecutive night i went one day early in the morning because prior this i extended my stay so i had a different reservation and had to check in check out i asked again and come to find out it is out of service till sometime in MAY. I asked to get refunded some money because that is what i was there for the guy stated he could help me. I then booked a day pass at the Hilton blue Lagoon down the road where the hot tub and pool were working and they had a pool bar. Needless to say i don't like being lied to and the room is basic the view from the winow was hideous and the shower is outdate but good water pressure. Carpet is old and outdated and the tv was nice. I am glad it had a mini fridge and a microwave that worked. The outside looks much better than what the room are like. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Everything in that places was old and not up to date .Room availability is never correct and you don’t get the room you paid for .Not to mentioned literal MOLD growing in the bathroom ,a whole black mushroom .Made a complaint and they never got back .

Stayed at the hotel for work nearby, conveniently next to the freeway so that you can get to where you are going faster, since it is close to the airport, expect to here some planes taking off and landing every hour. "Shopping mall is only really meant for those who may be getting married considering its all suits and dress for weddings. Parking varies from $7 to $10 depending on when you go. Staff was good at their job and allowed me to extend my check-out time due to work constraints so that i was able to return and freshen up prior to heading out for my flight.

The property was clean, in a safe area and the staff was very welcoming. Now here’s my dislikes. The hotel is freezing cold and the thermostats in the room don’t work. No matter how much you raise the temperature there is no heat. We had to have maintenance bring us a portable heater to the room. The hotel has plenty of stores to shop in and a couple restaurants to eat at.

We arrived at 2am as our flight was delayed and they told us they were full and had no room available, not sure how that happens when I booked months ago…. They found rooms and it was 2 full beds when we booked a king, we didn’t fit, the room smelled, tons of carpet burns and the air conditioning didn’t work. Hotel and expedia couldn’t do anything because they said we got an upgrade…. Idk what upgrade we got as it was a terrible room. Will never stay there again.

The hotel was ok but my room wasn’t ready when I arrived and I arrived way later than my check-in time so no excuse why my room wasn’t ready. Also the bathtub keep filling up with water when I took showers as if the water wasn’t draining properly. I had to hunt down a housekeeper to get toilet paper because there was only one roll in there. Was kind of disappointed in my stay because Hilton hotels are normally good to stay at.

This is an older hotel with visible signs of age ie peeling lining in tub and taps that don’t turn on all the way. There isn’t really anywhere close to walk for food except the disappointing restaurant in the lobby with extremely slow service or the little one on the corner of the building that gives large orders of poor quality food. I think what bothered me the most was every time I went to the front desk, the staff seemed stressed and were bickering with each other. The two elderly porters excluded. They were sweet and attentive. Also it’s ok to not have the AC on full throttle on a cool day to the point I’m under the covers shivering. Adjusting the temp in the room helped slightly. I don’t think I’d stay here again even though it is close to the airport.

The warm cookie was delicious! The room very clean and spacious. - No free breakfast. - Towels, bottled water and pillow requests were never delivered although it was requested at check-in and a subsequent call to your care services was made due to a party of 4 reservation. - No late check out flexibility. 11:30am is too early. I would not recommend Doubletree to my friends because of the above weaknesses. Limited

Checkout was supposed to be noon but when we called to do a late check out they said it’s Supposed to be 11am and they would charge us half a day more. Everyone spoke Spanish. Facilities like laundry u have to pay for. We basically got kicked out the room since room service kept knocking. There was no microwave we had to request one. Parking we had to pay for. Breakfast had to pay for.

The staff was very helpful as I arrived early, I wasn't able to check in early but I was directed to the fitness locker room where I could freshen up and change as I was in Miami for a wedding. I thought that was very gracious of the staff and I truly appreciated it. I was also able to leave my suitcase until I returned in the evening. Upon my return, I retrieved my bag and proceeded upstairs to a spacious room with a great view, very clean and the bed greeted me like a hug after a great shower. I'd definitely return. I loved the shopping area, there's wholesale stores as well as stores with beautiful items, a shoppers dream!

The shuttle should have explained it all. A full hour waiting at the airport. Check in was seamless. No room service. On day two, asked the cleaning staff for clean towels, was told 10 minutes. No one returned. Had to stop by the front desk. On day three asked the front desk to empty the trash, had to return two hours later to ask again. No towels by the pool, had to ask multiple times per day to refill them. Trash overflowing throughout the hotel. Hotel is dated, needs new paint. Hot tub was cold. Pool was freezing. And we’re from New England, we’re used to cold.

The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was respectful, the only issue is that you are an Uber ride away from all of the attractions and 25 min ride away from the main spot, Miami Beach.

There are THREE elevators for the entire hotel…THREE!! We waited and waited for an elevator and it never came to our floor. We had to haul all our luggage down multiple flights of stairs. Terribly inconvenient. I feel bad for your guests who are not able bodied. We will not stay here again.

Terrible experience. Many guests arrived early and rather the check us in we had to stand/sit around the lobby waiting for 4pm check in. When we finally checked in, along with other guests were told that they didn't have the double room we booked 8 months prior & could only get a king bed and pull out sofa which was the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept on. They kept blaming Expedia/third parties for the snafu when it was most likely their fault for over booking. We also had to contact them by phone and in person 4 times to get sheets for the pull out sofa. They had no more blankets so I had to sleep with multiple sheets. Was told the manager would be there in the morning but in the morning was told they called in sick and the next manager wouldn't be in until after checkout. Overall terrible stay and would not stay there again. Double Tree/Hilton, don't blame others for your mistakes. Expedia would not have booked a double room unless you told them it was available. No real apologies received other than sorry, it's Expedia's fault.

Nice airport hotel. Shuttle bus was a little small for the amount of people using it. Earlier check in (versus 4pm) would be helpful especially if your flight change is earlier or you’ve just got off a cruise ship. More reasonable dining prices or other local food options are needed. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Stay away from this hotel if you can, worse rude customer service, I travel alot and I never complain buy this time was a hell of experience with this hotel. We booked a 8 nights stay with a king size bed and sofa bed for 3 peple, and when when I check in, they gave me a room with king size bed and that was it, I told them that I paid for a kingsize bed an sofa bed, they told that was all they have and if I was thinking about getti g mad, or yell at them, that was no point because nothing was going to change and if I have any complaints I sgould call Expedia, because I booked through them and this hotel always will prioritize there members and put them firts and if they need your room they will give it to them, that was absolutely crazy to hear but it was late So I ask if I could get a folding bed and blankets, and they told me they didn't have any. So my husbad slept on the floor with no blankets it was a cold night, at the next day they brought a old horrible folding bed with a broken support so that mattress sink. After that we asked for our room to be clean only 2 times on 8 days but, you won't believe that they didn't change our sheets they didn't put any clean towels, not toilet paper, we have to call to the front desk to ask for towels several times, so for us this was in years of traveling our WORSE STAY.

Best customer service from the manager, security and housekeeping!! I had some issues with my reservations and the manager did everything he could to accommodate us. I also left an item in the room and as soon as I called they let me know they had the item (bag w/Apple Watch, jewelry, etc) and they would mail it to me. I purchased a seven night stay at a very deluxe room on the highest floor. Everything was dirty drawers were broken and cracked. Bathroom was dirty TV didn’t work couldn’t open the balcony doors surrounding the bed area was dirty, worse waste of money for a high-quality room.

The beds were full size not queen doubles. The mattress were hard. The a/c did not blow hard. The caulk in the shower was coming off. The front desk lady was rude. The windows in the room (from the outside) were dirty and had a grimy film like that had not been cleaned in a very long time (which made it difficult to look out and enjoy the view). Won’t stay here again.

Not enough help for the amount of guests on that weekend. We would have spent more money if there would have been available staff. We couldn’t get a cart or a bell person to help us with all of our things in the am at checkout. Raul was amazing at checkin helping us with our things, though.

Not up to Hilton standards.
The VAV airconditioner was not working. We had 55 degree air coming into the room, not 72 degree air. After 5 calls to the desk, a man came with a space heater to warm the room. Had to move it to the bathroom to heat the shower area. The head on the roll-in shower was replaced with a non-movable shower head which is illegal. It was a difficult time in the shower for a person that can't stand. Cleanlyness would have been 5 stars except for the dirt not cleaned behind the doors.

The check-in at the hotel was disastrous. With so many travelers during the holiday weekend, the hotel strictly enforced the check-in time even though there were plenty rooms available earlier. The manager would not let anyone check-in early, even 15 minutes early causing a huge back-up of families waiting in the lobby, it was ridiculous. Never will stay at Doubletree again.

When we arrived at 4.00 pm our room was not ready, we sat at the lobby for 1.5 hours, the dinning room had a water leak. We ordered food from the bar, when the food arrived, it was cold, front desk personnel was rude and unwilling to help. The toilet in the room had a leak and water keep running all night, I could go on and on.

Check in took forever. Did not get the rooms we paid for. Paid for a room with 2 double (for 4 people). Ended up with a king and a pull out chair. Someone had to sleep on the floor. Pretty sure they were over booked. Leaky and clogged showers. Have been here 4 times and this was the worst. Will never return

I love doubletree and this hotel is usually my first choice when coming to Miami. I love the warm cookies upon arrival and the staff are always great. However, our AC was blowing hot air in our room 720. Called front desk they sent someone up to look at it. He said he would return he never did or I might have not of understood him as he didn't speak any English which is so frustrating. The AC worked after he left so I assume he fixed it just didn't tell us. The tub drain would not drain properly so we would bathe in our filth and could see the scum on the side of the tub. The peephole did not work, thankfully I was with 2 other people but that is a real health and safety issue especially for single travellers. Love this hotel but this trip taught me to check everything in the room before getting comfortable.

For being a Hilton it is outdated, dirty, and the customer service was horrible. Our bathroom floor had mold and cracks. The iron broke while my husband was using it and burned him. We asked for a replacement, clean towels and toilet paper. We didn’t get anything until the next day. We ate burgers at the bar and both got food poisoning.

Very dated property with obvious cheap quick fixes to on- going problems. (Spray painted ceilings, bubbling wallpaper, desk in room was painted over to look newer) The hot tub was literally yellow and the bathroom was so out dated and made me and my family uncomfortable. This was a 2 star hotel at best. We ended up leaving within 30 mins for a higher quality hotel.

The hotel is not in a walkable area. There is a free airport shuttle. The tub didn’t drain properly and although we reserved a deluxe room, it didn’t have a fridge or a microwave. The housekeeping team came by to clean but failed to leave tissue and clean towels. The beds were double and felt very small. The property is connected to the Miami Merchandise Mall, but most of the retailers there were closed. Overall one and done on this location.

Well, for passengers out of MIA airport for a quick stay, it serves the purpose well. The lobby is chaotic a bit. We asked for extra blanket and pillow for the sofa-bed but it took hours and a visit to the front desk to finally get it. The restaurant has a "sorry closed" sign even though it is in service. Just confusing.

I travel a lot and have never experienced such a bad hotel, airport shuttle drove past me at airport and after waiting over an hour I had to take a $30 cab ride. No real restaurant only a bar lounge, the tv didn't work and the operator promised a fix that never came. With jetlag tv is therapy for me. I wonder what else is going to go wrong?

From check in and rushed employees, gave me the wrong room that I did not pay for ( I got a downgrade) because they was sold out, no money returned, disgusting and I cleaned rooms, no soap in the rooms and complained to the front desk whom came up with lotion instead of soap, changed rooms and the new room was even more disgusting, outlet sockets are coming off and very dangerous to charge your phone, bathroom needs major attention as there was hair from the previous guests, the toilet was disgusting with urine at the base, the old and used table with lots of scratch marks, the carpet looks about 10 yrs old that been used over and over and over all I will not be back. This has got to be the worst Doubletree I have ever been at. I would even take a free room if offered becuase it was that bad of an experience. And they have the nerve to charge you $50 fee per night. Why? The rooms have no value and definitely feels like a 1 star not 4.

So many things wrong with this place. Old, tired, in need of repairs. No AC, broken phone, bathroom door doesn’t lock, booked two queen beds but gave us a king with a sofa bed. No linens, had to request multiple times and we got them at 11:30pm. They gave us an industrial fan for air circulation. It was like a helicopter landing in the room all night.

It took an hour and 20 minutes to get checked in due to lack of staff. Then they got more staff in and continued with computer trouble along with allowing people to walk right up to the counter and they just helped them versus asking them to wait in line like the rest of us. I am a Hilton Honors member too which is why they were helping the others because of their status!!! Then the next morning we were going to use the airport shuttle which was a joke because he had no clue how to stack luggage and put a wheelchair and walker in the back then told us and another couple there was no more room for luggage. The girl at the front desk came out and told us she would call us a taxi which would take about 10 minutes after waiting 20 min and getting worried about making our flight we called an Uber!!! I now know why their rate was the lowest in the area!!!

This was probably the worst stay I have had. The first room had dirty sheets and at 11:30 at night when I arrived, I had to go back down to be moved. The second room had a dirty shower curtain and dirty counter tops and shower. I cleaned it and removed the curtain and went downstairs for more. I waited 30 mins. The lady at the desk tried, while the line was long & and the housekeeping manager refused to come. The front desk clerk, had to resort to asking the valet to grab me towels and a shower curtain.

The person who was at the front (not the person who checked me in) was very rude to me. He looked at me from head to toe and decided in that moment decided I wasn’t worth anything and treated me as such. He told me I could ask him a question only if it was a quick one and when I asked about early check in he cut me off and said no before I was done with my sentence. Early check in for a few is available at other places and I was willing to pay but he wasn’t willing to give me any information, time, or help. I will never be going back there again after that treatment and service
