We liked the bed and pillows, plus the TV was huge. The kids liked the pool and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve seen. The girl, who was working alone at the front desk with nearly a full hotel, was wonderful! She went above and beyond when we were having problems with our TV, even offering to move us to another room and bring the new keys up to our room. I think her name was Mel. What we didn’t like was it was probably 50 degrees when we walked into our room (the elevators were always freezing), and even turning the A/C off and the heat up to 80, it took nine hours for the room to warm up. It was January! Next, we couldn’t get any channels to work on the TV, which is when Mel was so helpful, even though stressed. We didn’t change rooms because our 14 yo grandson tinkered around with the cables in back of the TV and found a lose one. Fixed it! The next problem was that it took over five minutes to get hot water in the bathroom. Other than those issues, our stay was fine. I will tell travelers new to the area that there are no restaurants or shopping close by. Only some gas stations. It’s easy access to the freeway but not so close to hear it. We were there for a basketball tournament so really weren’t in our room much. Domino’s delivered pizza for dinner.

I had reservations for a room. When I arrived I requested a room away from the freeway noise. The front desk told me my room was not ready and it was an Ada room. I told them I did not need an Ada room. After much discussion I was given a room with 2 queen beds but told I would have to pay the full amount for the new room as I had booked my original reservation through a third party. I am waiting to see charges on my Visa bill. Room cold, TV did not work. Handy man came tried top fix tv but could not. He told front desk to give us another room. They did and he turned up heater very high but it took most of the night for that room temperature to come up.
I really appreciate the attendant at the front desk besides starting off rather brisk. Handy man extremely helpful and good.
Great breakfast, good sleep. Room needs a little update and matinance especially in bathroom.

Nice hotel, horrible mattress
The hotel seemed quite clean and had very friendly and efficient staff. I’d love to give more than 3 stars but, generally, the main purpose of a hotel stay is to get a comfortable nights sleep and that couldn’t happen on the bed we had. The mattress had definitely been around too long and had a depression in it from prior use, which also meant little cushioning or support. I could feel the inner springs when shifting. Up your mattress game, Hampton!

Our room faced the Interstate freeway. At night a trucker used their compression brakes going down a hill by the hotel. Next stay I will request a different room location.
Besides that, the hotel was great. The best in the area where 5 or more other hotels were located. I have stayed in 2 other hotels in the area and the Hampton was way better.

Probably the most overpriced place on our trip- don’t expect too much. Clean and quiet . Beds were fine. Room didn’t smell. Too much chlorine in the hot tub. Breakfast was not that great I’d skip it.

This hotel stole my money and wrongfully charged my card at 2AM the day of my arrival (I wasn’t physically at the hotel until 11PM), and then boldly lied to my partner’s face about it being Expedia’s fault. We chose “book now, pay at property,” and the card on file with Expedia was expired. I was prompted by Expedia to call the property and update the card info, which I did on the 8th- I also confirmed that card would not be charged, it was just being used to hold the room, and that we could pay with a different card when we got to the hotel.
When my credit card company alerted me about a charge without my presence made by the hotel, of course I called in to ask why that happened. Jenny (one front desk worker) said the hotel always charges the morning of check-in and I told her that information isn’t written anywhere in my reservation, on their Expedia listing, nor did any hotel employee ever say the card would be charged. Jenny then changed her story and said it was Expedia’s fault, which isn’t possible. The manager was supposed to call and never did, and they expect me to delay my travel plans to make their massive screw-up right.
We checked in and Jenny was there, rude as ever and still lying about the situation. They refuse to refund what they stole and keep blaming Expedia, but I have proof from Expedia directly that Expedia wasn’t involved in the charge; the hotel is the payment collecting party, not them.
They also committed federal ADA & OR state law violations

A good stay
We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Hampton Inn Pendleton. Our room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious. It is very conveniently located just off I-84 and a few minutes' drive into Pendleton.

Hotel lost power in the middle of the night we were not able to even take a shower because it was pitch black in the room. No coffee no nothing for 200 dollar a night room.
That was pretty disappointing to say the least.
Overall the room was nice I didn’t mind the noise from the freeway and hotel it self was pretty clean.

Rooms were not clean. We've stayed previously, and this time we were disappointed, rooms were not cleaned properly. Shower and bathroom not cleaned properly, not vacuumed, hair in tub and sink, beds questionable if they were changed properly. Place just not as clean as it used to be. Staff was pleasant and very friendly.

The body soap dispenser in shower was empty and the water pressure was weak. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable and the shade prevented early sun rise from waking up too early

The general manager is a gem (Ms. Sha?) -- amazing customer service. Really above and beyond.
We had several rooms and in two of them the bathroom supplies -- shampoo, soap etc were empty and not refilled when requested.
Breakfast options were better than alot of places but probably good not great. Appreciated the vegetarian options.

After booking and paying in June, 2 months ahead of stay, this Hampton sold our second room! We had to cram 4 adults into 2 rooms when fully expecting both our rooms would be ready!

We stayed 2/24/24 room 222. Our room keys would not work for our room on the 2nd floor, went down for a 2nd pair to be reissued. Still didnt work, had go back down to front desk again, desk clerks didnt seem suprised they keys didn't function properly. We were advised we would have to notify clerk each time we needeed to access our room,swim & exercise area. It was very inconvenient for us & not very safe for the desk clerk, i might add. It just made the whole experience inconvenient overall.

The only problem was the heat was turned off when we arrived, and it was very cold in the room! We had to wear coats for the first two hours! The cable box was unplugged from the TV and I had to plug it in to get the TV working.

Please don’t waste your money staying here. Our room was dirty when we checked in, there was a bar of soap outside our room with hairs on it, ice machines were broken and the pool was not able to be used. Really disappointed that I spent money to stay at this hotel.

Stayed one night, our room was dirty and there was pubic hairs in the washcloths, sticky stuff all over the handle of the hair dryer and the side table was sticky and gross. The continental breakfast was horrible and the lady who was re-stocking was telling people “oh, there should be enough for one more cup of coffee, we’re almost out sooooo……” basically encouraging the guest to not request more coffee to be made. It was free so it is what it is…..but it was off putting that guests were being forced to have light roast because the gal didn’t want to make more dark roast.

The heater in the room was very noise. Checked into room about 11pm very cold and took almost three hours to warm up. Pillows are very old and uncomfortable. Being the Hampton Inn very disappointed.

I was not offered the complimentary waters upon arrival. The bathroom floor was dusty, not mopped. The tap water tasted overly chemically! Very gross. The shower tub had red mold in the calking. My bathroom sick was plugged upon arrival and there was no maintenance man. There were fingernail cuttings on the floor, not vacuumed. There were a couple dead bugs in the hot tub. Overall, not worth the money. I could have stayed at a less expensive inn and felt better about it.

Fabulous place to stay for a good rate
From start to finish the visit was exquisite! The service was wonderful and people were very welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable so were the pillows. We had plenty of room for my handicapped mother in the handicapped room. Would definitely stay there again!

Wanted to use the hot tub but I guess it’s considered a liability if we use it after 10pm. How is that even possible? But we aren’t before 10 pm? Makes no sense. Very disappointed

It was a little on the pricey side.
Check in was easy, property amd room were clean. I liked that it was mentioned without having to search on depth, that the pool and hot tub were closed, even though we did not plan on swimming, sometimes we would plan on swimming and that is a factor on hotel selection. So having that posted prior to selecting hotel was appreciated.
We had 2 large boats and found parking relatively easy...

Overall my stay was good. I was disappointed there was not a mask requirement in the lobby and on elevators. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of freeway noise, but possibly it would be more quiet in a room that does not face the freeway. The free breakfast was good and had a decent variety. The in-room coffee was not good and any more than 2 ounces of water made it taste very weak, but the coffee in the breakfast room was better. It was helpful having a microwave and mini fridge. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. I would give a 7/10 rating.

This is a nice hotel
Howevet we paid $300. For our room and we were put next to the mechanic room number 123. Do not get this room . You will not sleep one bit due to the whining of all the machines next to your bedroom wall. We sent the manager a letter and told the front desk person. No one cared and.our reply was sorry you didn't like your room. The end. I would have rather slept in my car and saved $300.00

We loved the hotel the minute we walked in and spoke to the cute hotel representative at the front desk. Very friendly. Clean hotel from the lobby to the room. Comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in Pendleton.

Don’t ask for a two queen bed that includes accessible because you basically will have one with no window because the cement awning over the entryway covers most of your window. And the tub is super slippery so watch out. A huge waste of 264 CAD!

Great hotel, great staff, not much around it for food, but they have a good list of restaurants that deliver to the site, so it's just a bit more involved. But I'd definitely stay there again! And really friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful view from room of townscape and flatlands. Convenient location to highway and restaurants. A little noisy being right on the highway but I was so tired didn't bother me.
