This is the nicest property I’ve ever stayed in alongside Rt 81. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with table service and breakfast cooked to order. Also, only a 10 minute drive to Winchester’s historic district.

Staff was really good . The beds were just ok . But I gave back pain so the expectation is high for me .

For the 3rd time this year, the clerk at check in mis-handled the issue of the breakfast voucher. At first, she failed to offer it to me, or even tell me how much it cost. I asked about it 10 minutes later, and then she said it was too late, it had to have been purchased at check-in. I tried to buy it then with cash, but she refused to even try, saying it was too late. Your breakfast voucher system is flawed and has left me frustrated 3 times this year. I can't pre-order it on Expedia, and the staff keeps goofing up on how to offer it to me at the right time. Also - she told me yesterday that the cost was 5 dollars, and yet another Holiday Inn this year charged me 13.49 for it on the morning I was eating (illegally, until the waitress told me what the rules were). Why the huge difference? You need to train your check in staff to explain this system better and make sure they offer it to people who are not familiar with it. Most other chains, like Hampton Inn, do free breakfast, and have done so for many years.

This is the cleanest and most comfortable hotel room I have stayed in for a long time and I travel often. Besides clean it spacious. Also, having a restaurant on premises is a plus. I was early and desk clerk was very accommodating and helpful.

I really do not like sleeping in hotels. I am not comfortable and cannot relax if a property is not clean. This hotel truly meets my standard for cleanliness. The bathroom is fresh and spotless, as well as the room itself. I am relaxing in bed right now and believe I will sleep soundly.
In addition, we were greatly warmly by a friendly woman with a beautiful smile. The lobby was attractive and clean, and staff in the restaurant were helpful when we needed a spoon for our grandson’s snack.
We would definitely stay here again.

Did not get to stay. My room was given away
I work traveling ER medicine. I’d booked for my stay and called the reservation line w Holiday INn to confirm late check in. I had booked for 4 nights with reservation starting in a Friday night. I would not be arriving till Saturday morning but wanted to check in prior to work this paid for the previous night to allow for early check in. Confirmed this was fine. Apparently reservations did not let the hotel staff know and my room was given away. Ended up staying at Hampton Inn which was great. Not the fault of Hotel.com and the staff I met at holiday in were very helpful. Just disappointed in the mis communication between holiday inn reservation people and the hotel staff.

great stay, this Holiday Inn is my go-to in Winchester. Its far enough away from the highway that you don't hear it, beds are fantastic and the hotel is well maintained.

Nice Hotel But Gas Leak Issues
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Great breakfast and servers! One big problem was the very strong odor of gas in the lobby and elevator. I voiced my concern about the gas leak and was first told “well if it’s my time then…” and I responded it may be your time but not mine! They put the odor in gas for this reason. She insisted we were fine. I had to come back down for more towels and the smell of gas in the elevator was overpowering. Again I stated that something is wrong and needed to be checked. Another employee came out of office and said it’s the stove In restaurant and “we’re fine and the fire department checked it out”. I’ve stayed in this hotel at least 4 other times and it’s never had the odor of gas. It’s very concerning that the hotel has not done anything to rectify this issue. Obviously we are ok and didn’t blow up or pass out from the fumes because I’m writing this but it needs to be addressed.

I am extremely thankful to the staff for their quick assistance in finding a room. I went to the hotel at 1am after having a horrible night at a different hotel.
They were quick to assist. The room was clean and beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was personalised with very friendly staff and brought on time.
Highly recommend this hotel as opposed to other ones very close by.

First of all your web site said bar and restaurant and when we checked in on Sunday she said they were closed on Sunday. I chose this hotel for a bar and restaurant and they were not available, very poor. Next I wanted to sit outside that evening and this hotel only has 1 little bench , what a joke.Pool was also closed. This is a terrible way to run a hotel. Holiday Inn obviously doesn't care and I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again

I travel at least once a year to the Northeast, and this hotel has become my go-to. Other places have left me very disappointed (and cranky!) The staff here is very friendly and welcoming, the property is clean, and best of all, it’s quiet - which is important after a long day on the road. Love this hotel.

Bar/restaurant area rarely open
Despite the information that there was a "restaurant/bar" on-site, it was not open the entire weekend we were there, other than for breakfast. They first said it would be open on Friday at 5pm, then changed that to 5pm on Saturday, only to find out that wasn't happening either. Very disappointed@

The staff went out of their way to check us in early and ensure we were on the same floor. The kitchen was compromised and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all received their breakfast. We found the mattresses and pillows a little on the uncomfortable side.

Place was very clean and staff were great. The only issue I had because I’m a light sleeper is the noise with people slamming doors and the occasional planes and helicopters flying by. Of course I got the room near the elevator. That was very annoying. Had to sleep with earplugs in. Which were very uncomfortable. So my stay was good, just the noise was bad.

I had an excellent time in my stay. The room was clean and quiet and was cleaned for the second day as well. The staff was lovely. I didn't know in advance about the breakfast voucher but the hotel staff gave me one anyway. Only disappointment was the pool was closed for maintenance. But I would definitely stay here again.

Get the breakfast
I took advantage of the cooked to order breakfast. I usually see the breakfast area opened up early but in this case it was not. But, at 6:30 sharp the area was opened, I was seated, the waitress was at the table immediately, she took my order and 5 minutes later I had a plate of ham and eggs. It was fun to experience efficient and professional service in this type of setting. I wouldn't stay any where else.

A Fantastic place to stay!

Overall, the hotel was very nice. Room was clean and had nice features.
Bed was very comfortable. Two negatives about the stay is housekeeping and very hard water. No matter how much I rinsed, I was always left with a slimy feeling on my skin and hair. As far as housekeeling goes, it seemed like it was a quick sweep thriugh the room. Bed wasnt made completely neat, items werent restocked like coffee cups and accessories and towels. No hand towels werent ledt in the room the entire stay. When inasked housekeeping in the hall, they said they didnt have any. Yet i vould get some from the front desk. Other than that, everything else was great. Breakfast was delicious, great table service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Rachel was very nice as well as Caleb. However the vicinities were not very well kept. Would recommend more detail given to the cleaning and upkeep. Towels were hanging in my shower had not been changed for quite some time and had smells to them so I didnt even use them. Found blood in my shower and had to be changed rooms. Holiday inn would only verify refunding me one night out of the 4 nights I stayed. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star hotel not a 3.

We chose this hotel for convenience on our trip south. I would definitely choose this property again. I added on breakfast for $2 a person and was happy I did. It was a full service breakfast with a varied menu.
