Stayed one night on a long trip. Check-in was super easy. The Receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a little more than a Continental one - included eggs and sausage. Would definitely stay there again.

The smell of heavy cleaner or febreeze gave us asthma. There wasnt a bathtub stopper. No reason to spray ferbreeze that heavy. Unless trying to hide another smell. Loud music played at night from another room.

Upon arrival, the front desk worker was being brought food and he ignored the fact that i was at the desk. He wasn't pleasant or friendly. Put the paper down to sign it when i asked a question he was rude. Told me whete the elevator was, which i didn't see him piint to. I asked "where?" And he was snarky.
I inquired about places to eat in the area and he was dismissive.
I get that we all have lives outside of work etc. But the hotel chain isn't giving away a room for free - even if it was, the purpose of a front desk person goes beyond handing out a room key. Their job is to liaise with guests and be a welcome to visitors.
I drove 10 hours and would have appreciated a cordial welcome and a polite interaction. He didn't share the breakfast thats supposed to be offered in the morning...
Overall bad experience.
The room hasn't been vacuumed for sure since at least the last guest.
There was a bobbypin on the floor beside the bed, dust bunnies along the floor where thefan is, the bathroom doorframe has 'red stuff' smeared along the door.
They need proper cleaners and someone to check it over.

Weekend stay for a friend's wedding
Very good breakfast, clean room, comfortable beds, easily accessible, very small elevator, but it was in good working condition. Staff were very polite and helpful, especially the lady preparing breakfast when I asked about tree nut allergens! Great Hotel and great experience staying there!

Clean & quiet rooms. Right off the highway but didn't hear the traffic, which is a plus. Good breakfast - eggs, sausage, waffles plus the usual pastries, cereal & juice. Parking lot was lit up brightly at night. We would stay here again.

Good value
The hotel was centrally located for the friends and family that we visited. The room was small but had everything we needed, refrigerator, micro, comfortable bed, good shower, hot breakfast and friendly staff. We would stay here again.

Smelly "smoke free" yet clearly "heavily" smoked in rooms, poor cable service, broken and poorly maintained toilets, mold in tubs, no bathroom counter space, missing hair dryer, odd layout in the "suite" making no sense. Nothing here says "quality".

Malodor Overload
This place had some nice bathroom and carpeting upgrades, with a decent bed and breakfast. I was overwhelmed by the thick cheap-cologne-like air spray/freshener throughout the building and concentrated in my room such that it permeated everything and I tasted it when eating. Yuk. I kept the window open and fans on during my entire stay to survive and mildly improve the situation. As such I can’t recommend staying here although it does have a lot of potential should the odor be addressed.

Right as we checked in the front guest staff was so lovely. Our room was just as expected, bathroom was clean, beds were comfy. Only negative about this place was the smell of chemicals, it shocked me as we walked in but got used to it over our stay, wasn’t bothered by it the second time from coming & going. The blue springs area surprised me! So convenient as everything you needed was less than a 7 minute drive. Breakfast in the morning was basic but yummy. I would totally stay another weekend here!

Place was filthy, terrible beds, didn’t get the room I booked, tv didn’t work speaker was blown, power went out while at property twice not for long but it still went out. Charged more on my card than reservation stated

Con: The rooms are very smelly. We asked to change rooms and even though our new rooms smelled “less” they still had a bad smell to them. We tried a total of four rooms (2 on the third floor, 2 on the first floor). Each one smelled either of cigarettes or mold.
Pro: The beds were very comfortable, good shower and the breakfast was clean and decent. The staff was helpful and kind.

Employee when I first checked in charge my credit card additional charge when I had already paid in full with Expedia. Also employee that night was found sleeping in waiting area while leaving front desk unattended to.
Nancy was very nice and helpful when it came to refunding me what I was mistakenly charged at check in.

Nice, clean hotel, very small rooms.
Our room was clean and fine for a couple days, but extremely small. I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a couple days there. We were traveling home from a 2 week trip on a motorcycle and was planning to do laundry. The guy at the desk said the laundry was on the 3rd floor, got up there and it was locked and out of order. I was surprised the worker didn’t even know to tell us.

Staff was friendly. Had a couple spots of wear in our room nothng concerning. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Do wish there was a conference room that could be opened up for extra seating during the breakfast rush instead of the front lobby.

The property is beautiful on the outside. The outdoor pool was quiet and had a private feel. This property does not have a hot tub or gym that I saw. The breakfast was a combination of some hot options as well as cold with the typical choices as well as some pleasant surprises like Honey Buns and fruit. A side entrance allowed for easy access to our room.

Weekend in Town
Always a nice stay where when we are in town for the weekend. Staff is friendly at check in plus when we come in & out of the lobby. Rooms has always been clean and ready for us when we check in. We typically get a room with 1 queen bed for us and the room is a bit small on floor space compared to to extra space of a room with 2 beds.

The room was spacious! The bathroom was very spacious! The shower was great! The counter around the sink did not leave much room for items. The bar for hanging clothes was minimal also. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The desk and WiFi worked very well for me, as I had much work to do. TV was great! Location was excellent for what we came to do. Breakfast was also excellent!

the whole entire hotel from the moment you walked in smelled of cleaning supplies (and not in the good way, more or less the get that smell away it's going to make me nauseous way, walls were paper thin (we could hear the people next to us all night and we couldn't sleep. we complained to the front desk they said they would follow up with them and nothing. Breakfast was pretty standard, eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and cereal. The hotel itself is pretty fair for the price but the smell and noise interrupted our whole stay. It was fine for the night, but we got there at midnight and left at 7am because we weren't able to get any more sleep than that.

I was charged twice by front counter rep Nancy! She was rude from the first encounter. They charged my bank card over $800 dollars while my family was visiting from out of state and had no care or even tried to fix the issue

This has to be one of the cleanest hotel properties I have ever stayed at. The stench from the industrial strength cleaners permeates the air and hits you as soon as you enter the lobby.

One Night Escape From Crouded Household
I've stayed in bigger, nicer rooms for less money. There was trash in one of the bathroom cubbies and no hairdryer.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast that was included was A . Room looked good on the outside but had a musty smell. Must be some kind of humidity problem as carpet was slightly damp and by the second day of our stay clothes and everything we had was a little damp.

The beds were horrible. Woke up with stiff back borh morning's. There was so much humidity inside the room the carpet felt wet as did our clothing. It was strange as it was not humid outside. The walls and doors are ao thin we could hear everything outside of the room too.

It said queen room 300 sq feet. It was more like a foot and a half from each wall to the full size bed. They even have teeny tiny nightstands! My luggage would not fit into the room. It was aweful.i called expedia and Syed and Elvis were the best. I was talking to reservstions when we got cut off. Then a girl came on that apparantly was having a horrible day because thats how she treated me. I would of gladly paid for an upgrade. She was just horrible. I took screen shots of how condescending she was. I left the hotel in tears. Whent down to la quinta where i had av248 square fott room that was huge compared to the broom closet at the quality inn. LOST $200 SOMETHING DOLLARS OVER THEIR FALSE ADVERTISING. Plus i paid extra for the insurance. I doubt very seriously tgat me or my husband will do buisiness with EXPEDIA again. Forgot to mention the roach crawling on the clock radio.

Our tv didn’t work and we had to use the ice bucket to prop it so it wasn’t facing the floor. My daughter had dirty towels in her room and the trash hadn’t been removed.

They provided a clean room to stay one night and that's what we needed on the road trip so everything was all right. One thing we liked was that the fridge in the room was old and small, but it had a freezer, so we could refreeze our ice pack we had and some water bottles also. Breakfast was nothing special, but that's OK.

The floor in the bathroom was sticky and the carpet was questionable. A lot of the decor and fixtures have seen better days. Still, it is conveniently located and felt safe. For the current rate this hotel was as expected. It’s not fancy, it’s not spotless, but it’s also not filthy or unsafe. The night auditor was very nice!

My stay was nice and customer service was friendly until checking out. I greeted the gentleman at the front desk with good morning and he replied with a grunt. Upon asking directions to breakfast he replied by pointing his finger. It really soured my morning. The hostess at breakfast was very friendly, she should be promoted.

This property was comfortably but very dated. There were signs of trying to keep it updated but there were also many signs of wear and a lack of maintenance. It was hard to understand the staff when we checked in and he didn'tfully explain what was available. He was very nice and polite as he offered to help us with our needs. The early morning staff was not as polite and was rigid with the rules. Breakfast was not served until 7:00 am. This was disappointing as we had an appointment at 7:30 am. There were no signs about staying out of breakfast area or leaving lights off. Staff was expressed disgust when we sat patiently in the nook and turned lights on at 6:59 am. Pool is a seasonal outdoor pool. Elevator was older. Location was convenient to Gas stations and our appointment location. Room was comfortable and had no signs of bedbugs even with the mattress covered in bag. Price was decent for what we got.

Passing thru town for the night
We have stayed here before when going thru the KC area. It has always been a nice one night stop over. Staff at the front deck are always nice when checking in or just coming & going. Rooms had been nice & clean and beds were comfy. This last time we were in a smaller room so not as much extra space as before stays. However they did have to move us to another room after we checked in as the door lock was having issues with the key cards. Therefore, we might have gotten a different size room than we originally reserved being the place was near full they said with high school kids on a trip.

Overall the hotel was just ok for the 2 nights we were there. Here is a list of items that need to be addressed:
-The room had squeeky floor noise coming from the room above when people walked.
-The carpet in our room had off color patches for repairs.
-The bathroom needed some sheetrock repair and repaint.
-The HVAC intake under the window had lots of dust in the vents which needed cleaning.
-The shower control valve leaked badly and made a water puddle near the toilet when taking a shower.
- The window needed to be cleaned.
- Room needed a fresh coat of paint.
The staff was mostly friendly and helpful.

We were here for one night but I would have stayed more if time allowed. Our room was comfortable.
The cleaning schedule was posted. I appreciated that. We needed extra towels and more tissues and were supplied readily. The breakfast was great, good variety, and the breakfast room was very clean.

Room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfy. Stayed for a night while passing thru the KC area so it was a nice experience. We didn't have breakfast at hotel so can't rate that as we wanted to eat at some of the good breakfast places in KC.
