Ladies at desk were great. 207 is another story reeks of what not sure, no shower pressure and bathroom sink backs up. Nice place and needs some proper maintenance..

Didn’t like view of the Sandbar in front of our room. And I do think I booked the room as "ocean front" when it was actually "ocean view." That was disappointing.
But the beach chairs/umbrella package was nice.
Staff were generally nice and most were friendly. Liz is a gem. I would name others, but no nametags.
Appreciate being able to checkout an hour later to accomodate our later flight.

The employees are always very nice and helpful.
The property is on the beach which makes it a perfect place to stay. The blinds in my room needed to be replaced, but that did not take away from our visit. We will stay there again on our next visit to Amelia Island.

Great location, not so great hotel
I booked this hotel for a surprise getaway weekend for my husband’s birthday. I picked it because of the prime location on the beach. That it lived up to, but the hotel itself and the staff were disappointing. Our room was extremely small, with the door to the bathroom not opening all the way because the bed was in the way. The fan had clearly not been cleaned in awhile, as it was covered in dust. They didn’t supply a comforter, only two thin sheets. When we complained about the fan, they couldn’t do anything about it that night. When we asked for a comforter, we were given another blanket. One perk was a water station on the main floor to fill up your water bottles. They also had garage parking. The breakfast could be better.

This place is a winner!
Excellent location. Beautiful beach!!! Walking distance to restaurant with live music on Monday and Tuesday night even!!! Park with beach boardwalk next door and small mini golf course. Free breakfast included! We will be back!

The room was clean and comfortable my only suggestion would be to have the vents and ceilings fans cleaned at least once a month. The other would be to leave the roof top observation deck open after dark. It would have been great to spend some time up there under the stars. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is a mess. I had to move four times because the AC was too loud or not working. The receptionist had her son with her and was busy chasing him instead of being available. The sofa bed did not have sheets, so I had to use towels instead to cover up. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. The pictures do not reflect the actual quality of this hotel.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and very close to the beach. There are a few things you’ll want to know before booking a room.
1. Hotel staff was polite.
2. Breakfast was eggs, grits, link sausage, toast, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, and decent coffee.
3. Location to the beach is excellent. There are chair/umbrella rentals in case you don’t have your own.
4. We rented a room for 2 people. It was clean and updated. The bathroom was clean and spacious, Our room was extremely small, probably 8x10. It is ok for small to normal size people but anyone tall or large would have difficulty getting around. I read in another review that these are called parlor rooms. There is a queen size bed, tv, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker with a few pods.
5. Parking is strange. The parking areas are a tight fit. There are between 10-12 spaces behind the hotel. Under the hotel is a parking garage that is small and cramped. A large truck or suv may have parking difficulties. There is a public lot adjacent to the hotel for daytime parking only.
Our experience was great for a weekend away!

Our rooms bedroom remote was missing so couldn't use the tv the first night. Ice bucket was half full of water, with the plastic bag, for next use sitting inthe water. Candy wrappers in the head of bed between matress and headboard. Just seems as if the manager isnt making sure that the rooms are adequately cleaned between stays. We actually remounted the large mirror in the kitchette area ourselves, as to prevent it falling.

The location is great with easy access to beach actually your on the beach. Our room was small very small they call it a parlor room ,the door hits bed you can walk around to bathroom or crawl over bed too small to have a suitcases in way . But overall it was ok .

The property and staff were fine. The only negative was the bed. It was very hard, like sleeping on a board. The floor of the elevator was wet and very sandy but that ca be expected at a beach resort. Breakfast was good.

Expedia put a bate and switch on me. I selected a king balcony Oceanview and got a queen size with no balcony. Even though the hotel was nearly empty on a Sunday they would not switch me and I couldn't get a hold of anyone from Expedia. Last time I use either one of those companies.

Easy parking. Comfy bed and room. Friendly employees to welcome you & Make sure you have everything to enjoy your vacation! Beach is just merely steps away however I found the pool to be a bit small. Amenities like breakfast and coffee to get you started on your way to the next adventure!

Attention to details and then some
Requested a room refresh for two days in a row (towels, empty trash) and two days in a row….nothing. I wound up doing my own house chores. The view on the balcony was great, but the railings and chairs need a good power washing. The ceiling fans look like they haven’t been dusted or cleaned since they were installed. Beds and sofa could stand to be replaced. Zero support and comfort. On the plus side, the ladies who run the kitchen for breakfast are awesome. Friendly, hard working and stay on top of the food quantity to insure the guests are satisfied. We tried to like this place, because the outward appearance looked impressive and the location was perfect, but sadly, it disappointed on a number of levels.

Excellent location, this is the best part about the hotel. Breakfast was comparable to other hotels, fresh cut fruit was the only exception. We were put in one of the three pet friendly rooms on the first floor, even though we did not have a pet, probably due to the room availability. Location made it noisy due to being in the lobby near check in desk even late at night. Ceiling fan in room over bed was very dirty. Overall disappointed with the room especially after reading the hotel website descriptions.

Great stay!

Very upset one of our TV's never worked and never got fixed. Only 2 towels and no sheets or pillows for the sofa bed. Booked balcony ocean view, got a window looking at the parking lot and ocean. Only reason got a 2 star was convenience!

Would come back love our stay
Great place to stay if you want something right on the beach. Of course it had its pros and cons. There was only a few things we didn’t like. The water pressure when trying to take a shower but that isn’t too bad, other than that the place is nice, people were friendly, breakfast was always good!!! View was good!

The “suite” that we were in was very small and had absolutely zero flat space to put anything. Had to put even jewelry on a windowsill because I had to use the bedside table to open the suitcase. There was no place to put the suitcase. Very tiny little closet with three hangers. Coffee pot was on top of the little refrigerator. You could not reach the top in order to fill it with water and there was no place to bring it down to sit. We had to take it into the bathroom on the counter. There were no drawers. There was no dresser , we had informed them that we would be using the pullout sofa in the living room. There was no bedding available. We called to ask for bedding and we were told she would bring it up “if” she got a chance. It was very overpriced. we did not expect to have to pay that much money for that type of room , they were extremely rude. We asked for the phone number for district manager as the manager there was very argumentative and unhelpful. She gave us the number which we called and it was not any kind of manager. It was an ex sales person who had not worked for the property for years She would not give us a number for another manager. She said she would call us with the number Never received a call. I would certainly never recommend this place to anyone, especially a handicapped person. It was advertised as being handicapped accessible, which is a total lie. You had to go up several steps to get into the front door. Much more but no space to continue here

Beach getaway.
I recently stayed at the Seaside Amelia Inn. The location is great, and the breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing. However, the hotel is older and in need of upgrades. If cleanliness is important to you, you may want to stay elsewhere. The balcony was very small and had only two old plastic chairs. When I arrived, I learned that I could have booked directly with the hotel for a lot less, and no adjustment was offered.

I will start with the positives. The elevators worked pretty well breakfast breakfast was good and tasteful in the lobby was nice..
Now for the negatives and the cons: no, Lounge Chairs on the pool deck pool not very inviting, rooms were dirty, nasty carpet, very nasty shower, wall lamps loose, wall need paint, balcony tiny and very old and felt unsafe. Not recommend and way over priced….

Our suite was nice and as expected. We liked that it has a separate room area for the couch and balcony access from the bedroom. We also liked that we could see the ocean from our room! It was a very quiet hotel with easy access to get on the beach!

The property is right on the beach so very convenient. The rooms are a bit dated and need deep cleaning. Door of many rooms have many black marks. No room service was provided during our stay (3 days).
Included breakfast is mediocre at best. The staff were friendly and responsive. Parking can be a hit and miss. Limited parking for hotel guests, but they can park in two other locations. They will rent out beach equipment (2 chairs and an umbrella) for $50 for five days. The pricing, in my opinion should be based on per day, not per 5days. The quality of the beach equipment is just mediocre.

Not like it use to be 10 years ago.
My husband and I were visiting friends and we decided to get a room on the beach to make it more like a vacation. We booked the room well in advance and got one on the first floor because we have a little fur baby we travel with. We stayed here a couple times 10 years ago and it was SO NICE! This year we check in and the VERY PLEASANT front desk person said I'm sorry to tell you but there is no TV in your room its broken. She said the hotel was booked so they could not give us a new room or a new TV at that time. I asked for a discount which I received $20 off the bill. I wish I could remember her name now because she was excellent and so genuine. The room we were in was basically in the lobby so it would get loud at times especially when people check in or asking questions or coming and going from breakfast and pool. We picked this place because it had a restaurant right on the beach. Well it was closed and just the outside patio opened a day or so later. They use to have complimentary chair and umbrella but now its $48 (per day) for two not so great chairs and an umbrella. Not worth it especially if you are not going to sit on the beach all day. I like this place but too expensive for what you get. Next year we will stay elsewhere and walk to the beach.

Emplacement parfait, chambre médiocre.
L'emplacement était parfait géographiquement parlant et la terrasse sur le toit est extraordinaire. Le déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Les efforts du staff pour répondre aux besoins des clients est vraiment apprécié.
La chambre était moins adéquate. La porte de la salle de bain ne fermait pas, le divan-lit était médiocre et mes enfants ont eu des douleurs et des inconforts toute la nuit (ils n'ont pas dormi ou presque). Pas de draps, couvertures ni de taies d'oreillers dans la chambre. L'air climatisé était à côté du divan-lit et vraiment bruyant. Cependant, un employé très sympathique et compréhensif a essayé de trouver une autre chambre, l'une non nettoyée et l'autre dans laquelle le divan-lit était brisé... nous avons donc gardé la première. J'ai essayé de communiquer mes problèmes à la gérante mais à ce jour, je n'ai eu aucune nouvelle, aucun retour ni aucun dédommagement...
Cet hôtel est bien pour 2 personnes sans utiliser le divan-lit. Parfait pour se réveiller près de la plage et déjeuner sur le toit!

After attending my sisters funeral) we were on our way back from SC, we booked this room.. got there, told they overbooked and that they had no room for us.After sometime.. it was now midnight and we were exhausted, the gave us a room at a Springwell suite acoss( not on beach). A bad bad experience with this place! Save your money and go elsewhere.They don’t care about you.

I booked a suite with pull out bed for my grand daughters!! Upon arrival we noticed the blinds did not open and close and of course for privacy and darkness we needed them to work!! I called the desk and was told they were fully booked and she was busy!! We also noticed the pull out bed did not pull out!! We went to dinner and came back to noting being done!! They then brought up 2 cots, but the window situation was never resolved so it was never dark!! We were told that because we booked 3rd party that there was nothing they could do!!! There were wires hanging from the TV in the bedroom!! We stayed at this location a few years ago and felt it has real gone down!! We live the location and ability to go right out to the beach, but overall we were disappointed and felt they should have compensated in some way!! We never asked for that!! They ended up moving a sofa bed in the second day!!

Overall, very nice stay, the whole staff were amazing and very friendly! A few things could stand to be updated. The mattress was in need of replacement, but still comfortable. Just worn.
Parking is a little tight but, having access to the garage next door is helpful. Unfortunately, the number of restaurants within walking distance is one, the Salt Life, which isn’t that great. Very popular but the wait is long, and the food mediocre.
We do plan on coming back and staying at the Seaside Amelia Inn again!

First time at Amelia
Room was very clean but tiny. Air conditioner was noisy and the room we got was on the roadside of the Inn so it was very loud with the traffic. Staff seemed nice enough but it was really difficult to get any sleep at all.

The hotel was good. Could improve upon greeting guests and reminding them of dining options for breakfast and the surrounding area. Other than that the staff were ok and the room was clean. There was a weird knocking sound in the bathroom and one light controlled everything in there. It would do to separate these especially if your guests have small children and one may need to leave a light on for them in the night when they venture to the bathroom.

Staff was excellent in every way. Hotel is run down and patched at best. Shower door seal broken, floor flooded with every shower. Blinds on door to balcony barely hanging on for dear life. AC unit worked well but was horribly noisy. Parking is for small vehicles, if you drive a truck, good luck. Clearance for garage is inaccurate due to the pipes hanging down so far. Non garage parking is for mid size vehicles with minimal navigation room.

The Inn and the staff were charming and helpful.it felt completely safe for a single traveler. People were friendly everywhere.
Downside was lack of transportation to the historic town. Would be great to have a trolly shuttle.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Great location on a beautiful beach, lovely staff, nice breakfast, very clean. The reason I gave 4 stars vs. 5 was the AC. It was so noisy we had to shut it off during the night.
That said, we’d definitely stay here again.

Every ding of the elevator can be heard in the room as well as conversations from people in the hallway. Pullout couch bed is very uncomfortable. Needed to put mattress on the floor and buy a foam topper at Walmart so that our daughter could sleep on it. Great location and excellent breakfast buffet were appreciated. Staff is very helpful.

Our stay was horrible
The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and very hateful. Our TV didn’t work in our room and we were told we would just have to deal with it until they could get Maintenance there. They never came. Our balcony door would not shut. The blinds on the door and windows was broken.

Overall the stay was good. However, it was VERY loud, until around midnight each night. And then, breakfast is supposed to end at 11. We went down at 10:15, they were already putting the food up. We asked for the cereal for our 2 year old and the worker was EXTREMELY rude about it.

Beautiful quiet property right on the beach! I loved staying here for an extended weekend. I will say the food options in the immediate area are limited. However, the hotel is very close to the downtown area where there are restaurants and cafes.

It was one of the best Hotels that we stayed in. Just right in front of the beach, our room had an awesome ocean view, rooftop was beautiful, lots of parking space. Near parks and recreational activities. Restaurants are just few minutes walk, it was quiet, clean and they had delicious breakfast. Friendly staff and our stay was just amazing.

Really nice property and location. Very disappointed that our check-in was at 4 o’clock after a long drive could not get in till 5:45. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told that they would give me a call. Never heard from them, so apparently this must be a constant problem from what I’ve read from other peoples reviews.
