There is nothing that I liked about this property for me and my two daughters when we were on vacation. Dirty, sketchy check in at midnight, elevator didn't work ceiling in bathroom shower falling in, expired yogurt in breakfast area, bagels with no cream cheese. Never ever will I look at a Days Inn again.

This property was low, the area smells like rotten swamp and when I noticed the bed was not cleaned it floored me. One staff member named Justin was the worst he yelled at me stating there was nothing he could do , and told me they had no clean sheets available or couldn’t switch my room. Very disappointing

Room was dirty, bugs on window sill, pieces of food and junk around baseboards, spilled food and coffee on floor- obviously not mopped. AC did not work, moved to another room, cabinet broken holding refrigerator and impeded door opening and closing, door to room hard to open and close due to bottom broken and coming off, same state of uncleanness on floor

I went to day inns yesterday 11/10 came driving 2 hours and needed a place to sleep since my in law gave birth 10 mins away from there and When I go there , I went to put gas before getting into my room so let me remind you it was only 40 mins in , and When I open the door into my room 215 , it was so hard ! And i decided to change my son in the bed when I open the sheet there a WET TOWEL ! I go crying to the guy in the desk feeling so upset cause that’s just nasty , he rudely told me nothing he can do ! NOT WVEN OFFER NEW SHEETS . I’m so upset I’m going to corporate! Worse plave ever

I paid for a stay in this hotel for 1 night and paid for an hour extra stay, at 11:25 AM the management was banging on the door demanding us to leave and cussing at me and my guest and being completely unprofessional. The door to the room was broken, which made me feel unsafe, towels were dirty, and all of the vending machines out of order. Will never stay here again.

Almost missed the Wedding
We were going to a wedding that started at 4 pm and went by the hotel to see if we could check in a little early. We were told the room was ready but we could not go ahead and get in. Any other hotel we have ever been to has allowed us to check in if the room was ready. So, we made it to the wedding in the nick of time. It looked like the room had been remodeled but it was not very clean!! I usually try to find the best in any hotel or condo stay but this was probably one of our worst!

The hotel is old with chipped paint and unfinished patchwork. There was a coffee maker but no cups, not even a drinking glass. That said, it was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bedding fresh. For a one-night stay just to sleep over before leaving early in the morning it was fine.

The first room was dirty and the tv didn’t work. Charged our room and this room was dirty also, the door made a LOUD screeching noise every time you opened or closed it. The AC sounded like a jet engine and the blankets were nonexistent. One top sheet, a flannel blanket (Q sized on a K bed) and another coverlet.
Breakfast consisted of stale bagels, with the only option for a topping was margarine. There was no milk for the coffee left and you weren’t allowed to leave the dining area with any food or you’d be charged $10.
It was noisy all morning and night until about 4am and the staff was rude.
Don’t stay here.

Roach hotel!
The checkin process took too long. The guy at yhe desk said he had to go check something and left me standing there for 15 min. Then i get to my room and saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. I went to visit family, came back and saw 3 more cockroaches. I told the hotel clerk there was no way i could stay in that filthy room. Then he said he cant authorize refunds, only a manager can and he wasnt there. I left and went to a much nicer hotel. In addition to the cockroaches, the room smelled musty. It was old and outdated. Terrible experience!

Check-in and check out was quick and good. Staff was friendlyand helpful. Room itself was not that great. Lots of bugs inside the room (live baby roaches in the bathtub and sink), dead millipede on floor in room under sink, several dead ants around the corners of the room floor, and 2 live moths on ceiling. Lamp on nightstand between beds had a spider web (no spider), and was dusty. Floor looked dirty too.
Bed and pillows were comfortable but sheets/bedding could have been thicker.. froze to death. Room also felt humid. Didn't try the free breakfast.

I walked in my room and saw roaches scatter.

Breakfast was terrible. All they had was Raisin Bran, honey buns, Activia yogurt, stale bagels, and oatmeal packets that you have to make yourself. No hot food. Don’t even think about taking any food with you to your room or else they charge you $10. The pool closes way too early at 7pm. You can’t even bring food or water with you at the pool. They were doing loud construction for a majority of my stay and disturbing my sleep. The bathroom drain was clogged. And the bed didn’t have a real blanket, just a thin white sheet. The housekeeper was banging on my door like she was the FBI. She could’ve just knocked on my door like a normal person.

Verry upset with this hotel. There were cockroaches everywhere. The bed sheets were NEVER changed from previous guests. There wer hair all over the bed and the pillow had a really bad strong smell.

Don’t go there. Eveything is dirty. The tv dint work the ice machine. The staff rude.
The guy at the counter litterally told to clean the room myself since they said i had to request for housekeeping. I spent 2 horrible nights at this place. Will never step goot to a crap place like this ever in my life anymore.

The person at the front desk was beyond rude! I sent my workers there to get some sleep and he wouldn’t take their card and wouldn’t help me over the phone. He then proceeded to hang up on me when I asked him to repeat himself and then locked my guys out of the lobby. Unacceptable!!!!

Unfortunately I did not like the property 5 minutes into my stay because the room had uninvited guests. I do not have any other way to say it, but it had roaches. I left the propery within about 10 minutes after discovering this. I requested my money back. I am in the process of getting my refund back for the 2 rooms, but as of right now, i have been denied it.

The clerk who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. Then, after I had been in my room about 20 or 25 minutes, he called to make sure everything was ok! I've travelled fairly extensively the last couple of years, and stayed at some pretty nice places, but that's the first time in a long time anyone has done that. My room was very comfortable.

I called during the day to let them know that we were still going to go for our reservation but not until 11pm that night and the guy who attended the phone seemed uninterested and said it was ok and hanged up. We got there and there was roaches everywhere and the sheets on the bed were stained i had to go to the store and get cleaning supplies to clean the room and bed we had it for the weekend and we only stayed for one night only... never going back again

1. Upon check-in a letter of damage charges! Make one think hotel is unsafe, and that those staying area irresponsible. And a $75 charge, hope it gets refunded the same day as check-out!!!
2. So with that list of chargable damages, I looked hard at the room.
a. external door hard to open!
b. Could see were this door had struck the wall many times, even with a floor stop. correctly fix the damages and move the floor stop so it's effective.
c. External door and restrooms doors conflict and strike each other.
d. Cheap vinyl flooring extremely worn.
e. Bed side lights did not work independently or with switch.
f. Hair dryer, would not stay powered.
g. Microwave old/worn and timer did not shut off. Unit got very hot and smelt burnt. A SAFETY/FIRE HAZARD, did not use again.
h. Small refrigerator smelled moldy upon opening. In fact the room and restroom smelled muskie.
i. Bed is to soft or old.
j. Bath towels are very old looking.
k. Soda machine had broken signage on it and not other vending machines.
l. elevator very hot, no ventilation.
Rest room Appeared clean including cloth shower curtain. No evidence of mold or mildew.
DID NOT USE Coffee pot.
DID NOT USE Ice Machine, not sure it's cleaned frequently.
Water standing in passage ways after the rain, a possible slip hazard! Liability issue!!!

The rooms, the linen, the lobby, the fixtures, and more make this property look more like a roadside or inner city motel. Some of the staff I interacted with were unprofessionally dressed and lacked a winning attitude. They moved me to, supposedly, a better room--which was just as dirty and dingy--and never checked whether the room was an improvement from the unacceptable original room. Moreover, I went back three hours later to tell the front desk that I had booked another hotel because the stench of humidity in the second room were making my asthmatic wife sick, and the front desk staff didn't even apologize or tried to make it up to us, let alone refund us for the fiasco. So, I just went to the new hotel I had just booked. Future travelers to the Winter Park, Orlando, area should avoid this Days Inn. I won't stay at a Days Inn ever again.

Arrived 1/2 hr. Early.Spoke with a lady at he front des ,she said 3:00 p.m. checking. I r requested a first floor room.The Lady said ok and I will be sure you get a first floor room.I check in and now there’s a Young man,who puts in a room I. The 4th floor and I said I was told I would have first floor 45 minutes ago.The young man said no rooms are available per.The owner because of a wedding group. It’s now 8:29 pm and the parking lot is empty as well as the rooms.I’m on the 3rd.floor very unhappy.
I will not recommend this property!!

Dirty room..floors appear uncleaned & dust/ hair in corners of room. Used Qtips & cigarette butts in front of door to room. Smelled of Mold & reclaimed well water..smell especially bad in bathroom..water stinks too! Pool water was very low & pool closing at 7 is ridiculous! My son & I can't wait to leave in the morning..terrible!

When I checked in I was informed that there is a $75 deposit, which is not advertised on Hotels.com. The manager told me I would get it back when I check out. I had to sign a paper that gave a whole list of what I would have to pay for damages and/or smoking in the room. When I checked out, the desk person told me that it would not be approved until the room is inspected, and that it would be back on my card in 5 business days. Apparently they have had problems with vandalism in the past. They also have 24 hr video surveillance. You can tell that the building has seen better days.
To be honest, this place is ok if you need a place to sleep. There were no bugs and the bed was comfortable. The A/C worked. The staff is polite and friendly. The linens were clean. The pool looked clean but I was not there to swim.
The cons-the carpet was ok but the tile part of the floor could have been cleaner. the breakfast was minimal and I was only able to get one cup of coffee because they ran out.

The first room looked like it had not been renovated. I should of taken pictures but i walked in and walked out. The 2nd room was ok. Tried to get ice from the ice machine and the 2nd floor was not working. We had no glasses so had to go the front desk to get some.

Great Hotel stay with not so good french-fries.
Upon arrival I was greeted staff that was very professional and friendly. Check-in agent was very accommodating and friendly. Room was excellent, very clean and comfortable.
One minor issue was found in the Irish Pub cuisine. The french-fries accompanying my sandwich were cold and unappealing. Fires went back to kitchen for a 'replacement'. I would swear that the fieis that were returned were the same ones sent back as they still looked old, 'double dipped' and just warmed over. Couldn't eat them. Other than this my stay at your hotel was excellent.

Took Me outta the rm I was in an put Me in a tiny rm then after booking a rm again they then turned around an said I couldn't check in till 3pm. Sue the housekeeper was very pleasant and willing to assist. The rest of the staff had attitudes. The young man that worked at the desk was very rude. He should not be working in customer service. We will not be staying here again. This is more of a motel than a hotel.

HORRIBLE
It was a disaster at check in. First they tried to tell us we booked a single room when we defiantly booked a double queen and I even had my booking confirmation to show proof. Finally got that sorted and then go to the room and on the way up, using the elevator there was dried blood everywhere and just filth. We get into the room and it did not feel clean at all and the bathroom has several issues like the toilet paper holder was just sitting on the floor leaving a big hole in the wall, ect. It was impossible to get more towels or pool towels so my family of 4 had to share two towels for our entire weekend stay for showering and pool swimming. Would not recommend this location at all.

Although I prefer hardwood floors or tile to carpeting, these hardwood floors, and the rooms were still dirty. I wore all of the dirt on my socks. The Jacuzzi was not working.

The room was nice and clean but the hotel needs to have more lively people to check people in. When i arrived we have to stand outside with a long long line and a clerk who had no emotion at all. He could t fund my name and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. He then proceeded to take my card and gove me a room. I asked him how much he charged he said $75. The next day i go out for breakfast and went to go pay my card declined. I was confused because i had atleast $600 on my card. Long story short they overcharged me for 4 nights instead of 2 and when i called them and explained that i was upset about it. They didn't even show concern. Dont have a card that has more then the room payment.

You’re way better off spending the extra $30 to stay somewhere else. Our door wouldn’t close without extreme force, the toilet seat was about to fall off, the mini fridge wouldn’t get cold, music blasting all night from the room next to us, got woke up at 3AM by someone who seemed like they were trying to meet someone from Grindr but had the wrong room. Overall terrible experience.

Stayed here for the first time due to everything else being sold out. Horrible I would rather stay in a car next time. Sheets are itchy. Place just looks very old and falling apart. Don’t let the lobby fool you. And to top it all off they are very understaffed, and blame it on that! My room key stopped working in the middle of our stay one late night. So there we are standing outside a kinda sketchy part of town with homeless waking around, and no one was in the lobby! The doors were locked and we had to stand outside with our belongings. The worker finally answered, and had an attitude because he was in the restroom. Just save yourself a headache don’t stay here.

Noisy refrigerator disturbed sleep and management said all the rooms had the same problems. Air-conditioning unit could not be used due to the extreme noise from the unit when cooling started. We did find the cooling unit had a fan that provided adequate circulation and quietness. Extreme noise from street disturbed sleep. Housekeeping staff nice. Management detached concern

Comfortable clean,soft bed, nice warm shower, microwave and fridge, office desk and chair, accessible charging connections to charge smartphones,clean bathroom with clean towels, clean vanity with warm water, a/c,and, room was in a nice, quite location.
Also, no bugs,mold,meldew,cigarette smell, and no animal smell. Nice and clean. I got my deposit back the next day without any problems.
Drew is a great office manager. Hotel is at a good location.

A good and easy stay
I had a good stay in this hotel. It is cleaner than many others and felt safe. There are Showtime channels and yogurt with breakfast. It was easy to keep clean without rugs, and the room had a good window which locked easily, too. So, there was fresh air, which was great. It's located in a safe area where not much is going on.

Should be about $20 a night not $90. Filthy room, broken toilet seat, door stuck to the point I had to push my whole body into it to get it to close. Noise all night and looks like it is a housing project for drug addicts.

WORST PLACE EVER
I would not recommend this place. I travel pretty Frequently and stay in many different types of places - from something more practical to very luxurious. I choose this place because I needed somewhere close to the Airport and I was checking in late that evening and my flight leaving 0700 am next day. First, the front desk was closed at 830pm and I had use a little window. The person behind the window was a little odd and not friendly at all. When I got to the room it smelled old and dank, even though it was newly redone - bathroom was old and needed updating. There weren’t enough towels and they smelled. I didn’t even use them. The bed was comfortable but hardly had any bedding on it - a sheet and a very thin cover. The WORST part was waking up in the morning and as I was getting ready I look down and on the bed there was a COCKROACH… OMG is all I could say. My boyfriend had bites all over his arm. We truly tried to be lite-hearted about the situation considering we picked something quick and cheap. I tried calling the front desk and the weird attendant never picked up. At that point I just wanted to get out of there so we could catch our flight. See pics down below!
